I cant stop thinking about the loss of parental figures in Dracula. Arthur, Lucy, Mina, and Jonathan all lose parents/parental figures while still dealing with everything else in the story.

Its like, you're an adult now. You have a job, you have a spouse, and your parents are too old to protect you from monsters under your bed.

The closest thing they can get now is Van Helsing who never had children of his own to protect.

Idk what it means but it's scary and sad.

And then there's the House fans who are like "lmao rsl hates hilson what a silly guy."

Just- the language they are using to describe House and Wilson is incredibly intimate.

It's so irritating when people say "they're just friends" as if they want to dismiss the closeness of this relationship. Like, yeah, they are friends. They are best friends. They are the only long standing relationship that either of them have ever maintained. They are best friends and they love each other so much they would literally rather die than live without each other.

They are best friends and they love each other so much that they are in love while still being friends. There is no "just" friends because their friendship is everything to them. To deny that is to ignore the show itself. It's House's Head and Wilson's Heart for a reason.

They are best friends. They are in love. Those do not need to mean two different things.

It's House and Wilson or there is no show.

I know this was awhile ago and I might be misremembering, but did Lestat compare learning to be a vampire/learning to kill people....to learning English????? A notoriously nonsensical and difficult language. This bitch.

I do think it's funny that amc iwtv has done nothing but pull through and deliver time and time again despite all the doubt and haters who said the show would suck before it even began production, yet fans will still say they're worried the show won't be good in the future. Lmao what.

I like to imagine that while Armand is trying to say he didn't lie to or manipulate anyone the camera just cuts to his iPad screen with like a buzzfeed "top 10 best ways to manipulate people" list or something.

Its always fun to theorize but try to remember that a show not doing what you predicted isn't necessarily bad writing. Sometime you get so caught up in a theory that what really happens seems ridiculous, so take a breath and relax.

About to catch up on re: dracula cause I haven't listened since June but keep hearing its fucking amazing.

For some reason it took me this long to make the connection between Louis hallucinating Lestat and the fact that Louis' brother Paul suffered hallucinations. That makes me wonder if Louis will make that connection or if maybe Daniel will point it out.

Maybe I was just being hopeful but I swear for the split second we see Lestat's face after Claudia says her whole "if there's no afterlife I'm gonna do it anyway" threat to the audience, I swear to god, Lestat almost looks proud.
