but you also don't want your girlfriend to starve herself to death, because she's too busy playing mario kart…

you always make sure chiaki gets out of her room at least a few times per week! even if she's just sitting outside on a park bench, she'll at least breathe some fresh air and have the sun touch her skin

aside from that, you start to bring along some snacks whenever you’re spending time with chiaki!

chances are that she hasn't eaten yet, so you always keep some dried fruits or granola bars in your bag for chiaki

and when you're spending time at either her place or yours, you cut her some fruits and vegetables, that she can easily snack while gaming!

you often sleep over at each other's places as well, giving you a chance to take chiaki's console away for a night and force her to rest for once

though you don't actually have to force her! just telling her that you'll play with her the next morning is enough to get chiaki to put away her games and come cuddle with you!

Rei Sakuma

Rei will always wake up before you, he’ll leave the room quietly so as to not disturb you. Leaving you alone, letting you sleep peacefully. Often he’ll come to check on you, seeing if you had already awoken. When he sees you still sleeping peacefully, he’ll sit at your bedside and gently stroke your head, hoping you are having sweet dreams.

Subaru Akehoshi

Subaru is the type to hold you close when he wakes up, confirming that you haven’t left yet. He’ll lay there holding you in silence, feeling your presence. Once some time has passed and you’re still asleep however, he’ll get up, going to make some breakfast for the both of you to surprise you with. When he comes back to check in later and sees you sleeping peacefully still, he’ll watch you with a tender gaze, wanting to greet you first thing when you open your eyes.

Chiaki Morisawa

Waking up as rays of light start filling the room, Chiaki turns to you, facing you as you still peacefully sleep. Not wanting to wake you up, he keeps his hands to himself and quietly grabs a book that he was reading last night. He’ll stay by your side until you open your eyes, quietly turning the pages. When he notices you moving, he’ll put the book away and greet you good morning with a light kiss.

Eichi Tenshouin

Eichi will always take time out of his day for you, to greet you when you wake up. He wants to see you, look you in the eye, at least once before starting his busy ahead. No matter how long it takes, he’ll always wait for you, so the moment you open your eyes, you’ll be greeted by his love. Breakfast in bed has become a routine for both of you, just as a kiss on your hand before he tells you “good morning” with a loving gaze.

- He may have let a compliment slip once or twice while he was conversing with them but that should be it

- He actively listens to your music whenever he can since it lifts his spirits! And he never goes to meet and greets unless he has some excuse to be there (be it work or some other reason)

- He has a drawer of merchandise that he bought online but no one knows about it

- No one slipped up about the fact Ibara is a fan of you, you just went over to his house and found the drawer of your merchandise

“You never told me you collected merchandise” you whispered behind him in an attempt to scare him.

Turning around barely flinching, “nonsense, I have no idea what you’re talking about y/n”

You grinned, waving a small chibi keychain of yourself in front of him, expecting him to be flustered.

- But of course he never kept to his word and now he’s actively collects all of your merchandise, always ready whenever there’s a new restock or new kind of merch

- He’s the kind who would sit in front of the television wearing an official T-shirt and light sticks and start cheering and singing along loudly

- And of course it’s Tetora who lets it slip during one of your conversations

“Omg Chiaki did you know what a heard today?” You grinned, “you used to be my fan?”

His expression morphed into one of panic as he waved his hands worriedly. “NONO don’t misunderstand! I love your music but I just never had a chance to bring it up to you”

“After all, I didn’t want you to think I’m dating you because of your fame, you give me courage that’s why I’m your fan, your greatest fan” before enveloping you into a hug.

- you never quite understood how you managed to catch the attention of the majestic Nagisa Ran. Well in fact, you caught his attention first

- He chances upon your performances when Ibara was doing research on idol soloists and he was immediately enchanted

- Nagisa is the type of fan who you’d hardly see at fan meets but he’s a casual merchandise collector! If he ever does go to fan meets, he wears a mask and black cap all blushy as he comes to shake your hand

- And luckily, you noticed him due to his idol activities. It wasn’t shocking when you both came out as a couple either, after all who could miss the longing gazes he sends you ever so often?

- However, when Hiyori mouth accidentally runs loose and reveals some really important information, you can’t help but go straight to nagisa to ask him yourself

“You were my fan?” You asked, wide-eyed.

Upon hearing your random question, Nagisa let out a soft sigh but patted the seat next to him, signaling for you to come over.

“Hm I never told you well” he averted his gaze away from you “it’s embarrassing…”

Sweet and heartbrokening funhouse ~ (and overwhelming too 💀) im still sad for that chapter)

I think this isn't my best work, but I still hope you like it

Hajime Hinata

Since the start of the trip unlike the others Hajime had never trusted this place, neither Monomi or Monokuma

Every time a new part of the island is open he gets nervious and prefer to be cautious, trying to stay by your side while exploring it, fearing that something may hurt you

Even if it was a amusment park he doesn't fully trust it, and even so he calls everyone to the funhouse when Monokuma tell him (maybe it was because he asked nicely or that you were excited to try it)

After everyone wake up in a weird and colorful place and Monokuma had revealed his plan he feels like an idiot, blaming himself for falling into Monokuma's trap (even more if you seem scare), and the whole thing of a traitor doesn't help at all

While exploring it and searching for an exit he wants to be by your side, he wants to make sure nothing bad happen to you, but how he dares to do that if he was the culprit of you getting in this trap? (if you try to comfort him it would help him, but just a little)

The conditions that Monokuma had put for let everyone go wasn't easy to process, but the conditions you were living weren't easy either and with every day it pass the environment goes more and more in decline, it was getting in to the point that even Hajime was thinking on try to get the the most powerful weapon, thinking that maybe that would help somehow, even if he has to risk his life for it, but you don't wanted that

One day he wakes up like normally and prepare himself for another horrible day in that stupid house, but this time you weren't there, you didn't say good morning, he tried to stay calm thinking that maybe you had wake up earlier (or you hadn't even sleep at all), maybe you had already go to the Monokuma class

But what he find was far away from what he was expecting, from what he ever wanted to see. He can't help but let go a scream, aghast to see your body laying on the floor covered in blood, by the moment they others come to his side and Monokuma's annocment of a body is playing on the monitor his tears had already covered his eyes

He was shocked, unable to move and still trying to process what he had just see, but all his feelings quickly change to anger in the moment he heards Monokuma's laugh, saying that all of you should get ready for the trial

His friends had to stop him before he let out all his anger on Monokuma, telling him that doing such thing just will make things worst, but he doesn't care, he had already lost the most important person for him

Chiaki was the one who convinced him to put that energy in find the culprit, even so the investigation gets so difficult for him thet he can't even bare to look at you, at the end he just manage to investigate the scene and the alibis

During the trial it was obvious that he was affected, he was mixed between the sadness and the anger, and during it he was rather aggresive (specially when there was a possible culprit)

By the very moment someone had bring up the idea of you being the one who had plan this he get offended and just make him even more angry, why you would do such thing? you would never just plan your own death, right? But when the culprit (or even Monokuma) confirmed that you actually did it so them can go out of the funhouse he was shocked, even more than when he had saw your body

You have give your life for all of them, so they could live when he had already given up, when he was the one who put you in that situation, he can't help but blame himself for your death

It would take him a long time to accept it, even after the trial he was still shocked and unable to talk, no matter who try to talk to him he doesn't answer to any one, not once

It will take him a while, but with the help of his friends he will be able to at least try to continue, just so he can end with this stupid game and with Monokuma (even so, the feeling of guilt never left him completely)

Nagito Komaeda

Nagito had never think much of himself so he is just grateful to be in the presence of so talented people, not paying too much attention on where you are or the game Monokuma put

And he feels really lucky to have you by his side (for once his lucky do something good for him), he doesn't think that he deserve you as his partner but at the same time he feels grateful

He tend to cause problems and scare your classmates so he end up relying a lot on you, aside from you he have pretty much nothing and if you don't mind he will follow you around like a lost puppy, so whenever another island is open you two are together to investigate it

When you two were call to the funhouse he didn't say much, even if didn't want it he won't say anything, unless you are the one who seem scared of it, and even if this was a trap from Monokuma to make you continue with the game Nagito tried to stay calm and analyze the situation

While you explore the building if you express that you doesn't want to give up he will be inspired by your hope, but if you express fear its okay, he will try to comfort you (he may not be the best at it or even say that they could just kill him to get away from there, but he is trying)

While the time pass things started to get more and more difficult and people start to lose hope too, everyone just started to give up for not planing to kill each other, and knowing Nagito you will know that he is planning to go to the deadly room, even if he puts his in risk it doesn't matter to him if he can help (and more since you are affected too) you could try to stop him from doing it but at the end he will go (he will make sure you are distracted while he does it since he doesn't want to worry you)

Even if you didn't manage to convice him to don't do it you will be able to make him say to you what he discovered (but he won't tell you what he found out about your classmates) and with that you could make a plan. If you want to make it before him you will have to be quickly, Nagito is pretty smart so it won't take much time for him to come up with a plan (specially for how things get worst by the pass of the time), and you probably will have to try and convice him to wait just a little longer to win some time

Even if Nagito is clingy if you ask for some time alone he will let you alone (he will suspect about it under the circumstances, but try to don't say anything and just trust you), you were taking too long but he tries to not pry on it, he tries to stay calm and just think on his own plan

Probably even the morning has came without news of you, and he is really worried (he has being for a while now) but still he had been trying to distract himself. Since it had been so long he start searching you (he hadn't really slept that night), it could be either that he had heard the body discovered announcment or that he had find your body himself, either way he us pretty much shocked, even after everyone had came or after Monokuma says that is time to investigate he doesn't say much, just maybe say that it was for the sake of hope and you should continue

Everyone might think he's insensitive or just some kind of monster, but the reallity is that he is suffering, he felt like the time had stoped when he saw your death body, he feels devasted and the despair begins to wrap him completely, but he won't show that, not to them, he doesn't trust them anymore and the only person he still trust and cares for is dead now, so now nothing matter for him anymore

He will be even more harsh with his words, more aggresive towards them, and during the trial when the truth of your sacrifice is revealed to all is the only moment he isn't rude, just because in that moment it's all about you and your infinite hope, it's about how you had gave your life in order to bring hope to them again, but after the trial he gets really aggresive towards everyone again

To be honest, his lost is just making him crazy, he was so used to be hated and stay alone, but when you came to his life he started to feel hope again, you had make him company and give him the affection and comfort he craves for, he started to feel at peace with his life and with himself, feeling that with you everything will be fine, but you are gone now and he is all alone once again

Knowing the truth it hasn't done him any good either, it just makes things worst and now that he is all alone again he doesn't have anything to lose, so he probably will be more impulsive and eager with his next plan (he won't rush, though, his plan has to be perfect to achieve what he wants)

Chiaki Nanami

Since the start of the trip Chiaki never really showed much worries about the place or the game, it isn't like she likes it but she just pay more attention on your classmates

Chiaki isn't exactly clingy but since she is pretty easy to get distracted and just falls sleep most of the time she tend to rely a lot on you, especially when it comes to explore the island or when you two have some free time

Whenever a new part of the island is open and she go to explore it she still keeps in mind that she has to investigate for a way to escape from there but she tries to take it easy or don't show much worries. If you want to go alone she wouldn't mind too much but it makes her happy if you two go together

When the amusment park were opened she get pretty interesed on it and she wasn't going to say no to the funhouse Monokuma had tell them about (specially since everyone seem interested on it)

She didn't give it much importance at the place at first, but is when Monokuma revealed his plan to everyone when she gets worried about it, Chiaki unconsciously takes you hand as searching for a reasurance

While exploring she didn't go with you since Nagito had tell her that he need to talk to her, and without thinking much she just accepted, but after everyone end up the investigation of the place and meet again is when she stays by your side again

The conditions of the funhouse were terribles, the place was made to push everyone to the extreme and still everyone seemed to not planning to give up, even if you express that you aren't planning on give up either she still decide to keep a close eye on you, she just want to make sure you don't plan to do something that will put you at risk. She has even asked you to please don't put yourself at risk, don't give Monokuma what he wants, she doesn't want to lose you

But even if you had promised to her to don't do it you don't want to just give up and let everyone fall, and for the rate things are going it would be soon, so building up your courage you come up with a plan to make free all your friends

For how sleepy Chiaki is it would be rather easy get away from her. When she had wake up to go to the lesson Monokuma force you to take is when she noticed that you weren't there, just by noticing it she was already having a bad feeling, still she goes across the funhouse carefuly hoping to find you somewhere

If she hear the body announce before finding you she will be already thinking the worst, in either case when she finds your body she feels bad, horrified, but that feelings quickly becomes frustration and sadness

She should have stopped you, she have should conviced you to stay by her side, but now there is nothing she can do for you aside from continue and put an end to this game

Even when Chiaki had just prefer to focus on the investigation and the trial, even when she is trying to continue is obvious how affected she is, her sadness is obvious for everyone and they try to comfort her, but she doesn't answer to her kind words just look down to the floor, she is grateful for it but she doesn't want that, she wants you

She tries her best to continue with the trial and solve the case, she is just focused on continue, giving her best on the trial but even after this ends and everyone can go back to theirs cabins the frustration and sadness doesn't go away

Is until she is finally alone in her cabin when she let her feelings out, laying down on the bed she cries while cuddle a pillow, how she wished it was you instead of a pillow, how she wished that you were there to comfort her, how she wished that she had the opportunity to at least say goodbye

The next days she tries to act like her normal self and continue with everything, is just when she is alone when she truly let out her sadness (or maybe with Hajime and Monomi too since they are her closest), she can't show them how sad she is because she can't tell them how even when everything ends and all of you finally wake up from the program is her who will never get a chance to see you again

After a long, hard day of practicing for his next stage performance, Chiaki came back to your shared apartment exhausted and stressed. “I’m home!” Chiaki yelled as he entered the door, but he didn’t see you waiting for him like usual and became a bit worried.

“Hello? Where did you go?” You didn't respond, so he became increasingly worried. He looked around the living room, the kitchen, and even the bathroom for you, but suddenly he heard rustling in the bedroom.

Chiaki opened the bedroom door, he had an excited look in his eyes when he saw you, and his eyes immediately lit up. 

"Surprise!" you smiled, wearing a cosplay of his favorite superhero. You had spent the past few days pulling together a costume that would surprise and impress him.

“Woah! You look great!” Chiaki's warm smile was contagious as he spoke in his usual boisterous tone. 

You smiled as you walked up to him, "Do you like it? I made it myself."

Chiaki picked you up and spun you around, squealing in delight as he did so, "I love it! This is so perfect!" He exclaimed, before putting you down. The more he looked, the more he realized what you were wearing, making him a bit flustered. He nervously laughed a bit, before adding, "Do you have to wear such a tight outfit though??"

You give him a sheepish smile and look down at what you're wearing. "I thought you said you liked it?" You look back up at him, raising an eyebrow. 

Chiaki's face suddenly turned a light pink shade as he blushed. “Can we try something tonight?”

chiaki is a-okay with all that, especially that whole wakizashi thing...

she thinks it's pretty cool, mostly the fact that you're brave enough to have a weapon on you at all times.

though sometimes whenever you guys get into childish little arguments, she'll be half-expecting for you to threaten her with your wakizashi.

but you would never hurt her.

you guys have a secret base in an old janitor's closet whenever you were hiding from nekomaru, akane or kazuichi or when you guys were just skipping class.

everyone was kind of used to just watching chiaki, so when you started to appear more often, people started to speculate

rumors started that chiaki was your girlfriend and that's why you kept appearing in her streams

chiaki had never denied those rumors, nor had she confirmed them, until one of her classmates commented under her stream

"wait, are you and y/n dating? like actually?" 

chiaki read that comment out loud and paused her game for a moment, before looking towards the camera

quickly the conversation shifted away from the current video game and instead towards chiaki's relationship with you

Chiaki had gotten home from a job a little while ago, it went on until late at night. Even though he’s exhausted, sleep seems to escape him. As he was working on getting himself something warm to drink to hopefully help him to get some rest and sleep, he heard his phone ringing on the table. The moment he sees the caller ID, a smile forms on his face as he picks up, “hey, you’re still up? Can’t sleep?”.

“...Chiaki…”

“You sound tired, is something wrong?” He panics a little when you don’t say anything other than his name. Did something happen? Is there anything he can do for you?

“No… I just wanted to hear your voice.”

“Really? Well, I can’t sleep either so you’ll have the chance to hear my voice until it’s morning. Uh well- I mean, if you want to of course.”

So you end up listening to him all night, he tells you about his job earlier, he even reads something out of his favorite book for you. Of course, you also talk to him, reacting to what he’s saying. You two keep going until you fall asleep to the sound of his voice and he to yours…

ironically, izumi at least told chiaki on your behalf where to meet. kaoru wishes you goodluck before wandering off to god knows where. standing like an idiot, near the school fountain. you can't help but feel a sense of falseness. what if chiaki forgets the meeting and this is what being played tastes like.

" y/n!! I'm here, sorry for being late! " chiaki shouts, snapping you out of your thoughts. you can't help but let the tears fall, when did the tears even well up.

" gah! don't cry, " chiaki comforts, pulling you into a hug.

" I can't help it... I thought you stood me up, and everyone was toying with me! " you cry out as chiaki rubs small circles around your back.

" I'm sorry, really. if it makes you feel better, let's go out for ice cream! " he cheers, ready to pull you out of the school.

kaoru and izumi were hidden somewhere close, hearing the conversation. izumi can't help but sigh over you crying waterfalls, kaoru smiling at the newborn young love. they're happy for their dear friend nonetheless.

Kaede Akamatsu

Kaede is always optimistic and affectionate, she is always cheering up all the people she cares about and always finds ways to bring them a smile, and you won't be an exception for that, she loves you with all her heart and even when she knows that she can't cure your depression with her love she likes to do everything she can to help you, even if is just a little

Kaede isn't exactly clingy, she understand if you need time to yourself and leave you be, but not without remembering you that she will be always there for you, waiting until you want to talk to her about what is in your mind. Although, Kaede knows to don't leave you alone too much time because that could be harmful to you

Kaede is caring towards all her friends, she likes to cheer up everyone and try to help whenever she can, as well she is really friendly towards everyone, so you feeling insecure of how much she brights with others can be easily posible, even when Kaede tries to act as the same with you (and even more since you are her partner) that doesn't mean you can't be assailed by doubts

Even if you try to hide it Kaede notice when you aren't feeling at the best, she will ask you if you are alright and let you know that she is by your side, if you say that is nothing or prefer to don't talk about it for now she will let you be but will remember you that she will be waiting until you feel ready to tell her. Although she will end up confronting you if it pass more time and you still seem down (in the case you still prefer to don't tell her)

Kaede takes a moment to talk to you and focus only on you, she express her worry when confronting you and promise to don't judge you for what is troubling you, she just want to be able to help you. She doesn't want to be pushy nor forceful but if you still seem hesitant about telling her Kaede will insist until you tell her (there is a posibility that she guess what is happening to you)

When you voice off your worries and insecurities about how she seem happier with her friends and how it lead you to think that she may want to break up with you Kaede feels her heart broken a little, she is hurt by it but don't blame you, is just that she felt guilt for making you have such doubts. Kaede is quickly to assure you that she won't broke up with you, she still loves you with all her heart, as well she apologize for giving you a bad impression but she just wanted to help her friends and respect your own space and time for yourself

After you two clarify this situation Kaede makes sure to spend more time with you and also tries to remind you more often how much she love you and how much she loves being with you, as well Kaede invite you over with her friends whenever she is going out with them and sometimes almost force you to go if she thinks it could help you (even when is probably that Kaito embarrassed her by telling you how much Kaede talks about you)

Chiaki Nanami

Chiaki is really introvert and almost never apart her eyes from her videogames, although she is always glued to you (as long as you are comfortable), is like her way to say that she wants to be with you or that she is with you whenever you need it

Chiaki love you, she is sure of that and that is why she tries to be more present with you (specially for knowing about your depression), she tries to show you that she is paying attention to you and don't be so sleepy all the time, Chiaki tries to let aside her games for a while when she is with you and even when she is playing she is paying attention to you

Even since you were just friends you gave Chiaki the determination to talk more with her classmates, wanting to make more friends, and Chiaki really tries to spend time with her friends and have fun with them what it becomes pretty evident for the contrast from when she was alone with her videogames to when she finally made more friends, although for how evident it is it could make you feel insecure

Chiaki is pretty smart and perceptive so she notice almost imediatly when you start to feel more down, however at first she didn't wanted to asume the worst and, taking in consideration your depression, she thought it may be just that you were a little down and decided to give you support in little ways, leading her to giving you time to yourself too, but at time pass and you seem to be as the same or even worst Chiaki will only worry more

When Chiaki finally wins the courage to ask you what is on your mind she does it slowly and indirectly, she doesn't know how to approach to the topic so she scales slowly from how you been feeling to tell you that she noticed that you were being troubled by something. When you finally open up to her about your insecurities she pays a lot of attention to your words

Chiaki probably will blame herself at first for what you feel, apologizing for not being with you when you need it but if you comfort her she is quickly to accept it and turn things around, now being the one who comforts you, quickly reasuring you that she isn't planing on breaking up with you and that she loves you, Chiaki asure you that she is really happy by your side

Chiaki speaks to you from her heart, expressing how much she love you and how much she loves spending time with you, how she feels motivated to make more friends because she want to share her happiness with others but that that doesn't mean she forgot about you, you are her partner and, at the end, you are always in her mind

From that day Chiaki tries to be more verbal with her love, reminding you frecuently that she loves you, as well she tries to spend more time with you and always make sure to invite you whenever she goes out with her friends, she is really happy to introduce you to her friends anyways (in case you don't know them yet)

Junko Enoshima

Junko loves all of you, even your depression, she knows what it comes with depression and how much despair it bring you and she loves it, but she also kinda loves the feeling of desesperation that bring her seeing you suffering and don't being able to do anything for you, is weird but that is how she is. Junko love you just the way you are and she won't change you for anything, although she doesn't usually say it out loud

Junko is a famous model, and for being an ultimate she is known for a lot of people, whenever she is with other people she has a smile in her face, even when she is with her classmates, she is always having an lot of fun in her own way, it doesn't even had to do with the people she is with. However, it is also that whenever Junko is with you most of the time she has a smile on her lips (a more sincere one, actually), but that doesn't mean you can't feel insecure about how happy she looks all the time, with or without you

Even when Junko is pretty clingy and affectionate towards you that doesn't stop your mind from making you doubt yourself, and since Junko most of the time acts according to how she feels isn't too strange that she leaves you alone suddendly

You can't hide from Junko how you feel, she always knows how you feel somehow, specially when you are feeling down she always notice it right away, although she doesn't confront you immediatly about it, most of the time she lets herself be amused for a while by it and analyze the situation before deciding to do something

Junko end up directly confronting you because, according to her she got tired of you looking at her with those sad puppy eyes without telling her anything, and she ask you what is going on directly, if you try to avoid the topic or say that is nothing she will tell you that there is no need to pretend since she already knows and she is kinda tired of you don't being direct with her

When you tell her your worries about she being happier without you or that you may be a failure as her partner is probably that she will laugh at it, not because she is making fun of you but because she find hilarious (and even silly) your worries since for her you are one of a kind (in a good way), she even explains to you that for her you are just so amazing! She is always bragging about you with whoever she can, never losing the chance to talk about her amazing partner and how happy she is with you, and she mean it

And she finds even more hilarious that you thought she probably want to break up with you because she had never thought on that (at least not in a serious manner), Junko finds almost everything boring, even herself, and even when she smiles all the time she isn't completely sincere with it, however she can say that is almost never that she gets bored while being with you, so with that in mind why she wil break up with you?

After that day Junko spend a little more time with you and becomes a little more affectionate with you for a while (since she was already affectionate with you), what is new is that she is now bragging about you in front of you and even become more obvious with how much she adores you, not matter if you two are alone or not she is over you affectionately
