While I love AEW and enjoyed Fyter Fest I do think it's time we discussed that AEW does continue to have a roster problem.

I don't mean that they have a bad roster, the problem in fact is that their roster is too good! They are leaking with talent which becomes a struggle to showcase them all in the right way.

They have a lot of injured talent out, but still you can make a roster out of the absent talent that are ready to go. And ROH booking is becoming far too Rampage-esque.

AEW is close to becoming perfect, but it has places it needs to work on; rebuilding the tag and trios division, re-establishing a meritocracy where talent can feud to get a shot at a title, putting titles on people who best suit the division (I think Mercedes is great but the longer she holds the TBS title the longer it is held away from the young midcard women who need it), and probably finding a third show they can book properly so more talent have time to show off.

Hii! Art question! Any tips on drawing the other eye, especially when the face is at an angle?

My biggest tip is UNDERSTAND THE SHAPE OF EYES. I think the most important thing is to understand what you are drawing. If you are having trouble with "the other eye" chances are your understanding of eyes, not just the other one, might not be strong.

Here are some notes about the shape of eyes that I hope you'll find helpful.

Remember that the human face has shape! Eyes aren't sitting on a flat surface they are beholden to the landscape they are planted in.

Not pictured above, but please remember that the skull is round you will not be looking at both eyes at the same angle unless you are looking from straight on.

ALSO! how much eye is visible will vary by situation. Sometimes eyes will be visible, and sometimes they will be hidden behind a nose, some hair etc etc.

When thinking about eyes remember that they have physical presence and take up space in 3 dimensions.

Also this is one I have a ton of fun with over exaggerating, but remember that eyes are a lovely subject to draw with varying materials, and a pretty complicated structure, so have fun with it.

How much reality you want to put into your art depends on your style/preference, and the fun part of drawing is you can ignore physics if they don't work for you, but I'm a strong believer of understanding and making informed decisions when developing your style. I've said a lot, but please remember to just stay curious about shapes. Don't get too bogged down by detail and have fun with it.
