...that if you drop bakers'-chocolate chips into boiling cream, they explode.
Also, the ganache-in-the making breaks and turns into something more like a batch of sticky glossy pebbles than anything else.
NOT RECOMMENDED.
...Recommended instead:
(a) Pour the hot cream into the chocolate chips, NOT the other way around.
(b) Then stir constantly until it becomes beautiful and dark and creamy and glossy. AND HAS NOT EXPLODED.
(That'll teach me to do cooking stuff before I've had my tea...)
