Two months. Two months he had been gone. Wren was fine, at least she convinced herself of that. Except that she laid awake most nights thinking about how he was meeting beautiful women with beautiful accents. Luca was handsome and charming, he could have a woman in his bed every night if he wanted to. And that’s exactly what worried her. But the thing was, it wasn’t her place to worry. He was not hers. He was her best friend, the best friend she fell into bed with more often than not. But he was due back within the next week.

Except it wasn’t a week. She and Chris were walking into the station together, her heart racing as they rounded the corner and saw Luca chatting with the rest of the team next to the boxing ring. Wren’s heart beat faster, almost forgetting how hot he was. The nights they FaceTimed didn’t do him justice. Smiling a little as they approached the group, she watched everyone else hug him. “Welcome back, Luca.”

Hi! I don't mind at all! Sorry, I know they're rather new, so there isn't much content for some of them on my blog yet. I hope this helps! Its under the cut because I did give a bit more than I originally intended, but I'm hoping this gives you a better idea about their dynamics!

Wren x Leon: the story of these two actually starts in Raccoon City. Wren's father was a police officer there and him being forced into retirement due to medical reasons was why Leon was hired on there. Wren and Leon start off on the wrong foot by literally meeting each other at gun point. mostly thanks to Wren's trust issues, but throughout the night they learn to lean on and trust each other. And while they went through something truly traumatic simultaneously, they bonded over that and they kinda formed a soft spot for each other. They have this thing with pinky promises that started off as super sarcastic and turned into something more significant. Wren and Leon do sleep together after that night in Raccoon City to kinda work through what they experienced and of course because there are feelings there they can't quite explain or talk about just yet. But they get separated when the government recruits Leon and Wren deals with her own fallout of that night too, which does lead to her being in the government's grasp as well. She just works with Chris often. They reunite during the events of Resident Evil 4 due to Wren being there for Luis and Ainsley (another oc of mine). The thing about Wren and Leon is that they're very...attached. They couldn't help but choose each other in a situation that would call for them to choose to save each other or someone else because they're each other's weak spot. Mostly just partners in crime that work together more often after reuniting. They do end up having kids down the road too. Wren and Leon also tease the hell out of each other and they can't get enough of each other, the revolve around each other whether they mean to or not. They heal each other and they offer each other some sort of safe haven, regardless of how bad it gets. They're one of my favorites ngl.

Ainsley x Carlos: Ainsley is actually a descendent of Old Man Spencer himself, so of course she got swept up in working for the "family business" as a doctor/scientist. Ainsley worked on a lot of things for Umbrella, including Mr. X and mostly importantly: Nemesis. Ainsley has a lot of guilt for it and she had a change of heart about her work towards the end, but it was far too late for her to really change anything. Ainsley barely got out of the city in time before the nuke went off, and she did her best to make somewhat of a difference for anyone that was left, but again, it was mostly futile. Ainsley officially meets Carlos (because I believe there was a brief run in or something along those lines in RE3) after Wren and the others finally get their hands on her, and Wren recruits Carlos to work with her. The thing about this ship specifically is that they're both riddled with guilt for doing what they did for Umbrella, Ainsley with her own scientific career, and Carlos being a paid mercenary to clean up the mess they made. Its very tense between them at first because I'm sure you can imagine Carlos isn't exactly thrilled to put a face to someone who had helped create the viruses. Nobody can hate Ainsley as much as she hates herself, however, and sensing that, Carlos does try to help ease it in a way. Ainsley is very posh and a bit...proper. So its quite easy for Carlos to get under her skin and ruffle her feathers with his sense of humor...which he does often. They also heal each other and grow past their mistakes and help each other in the process of that.

Alex x Claire: how Alex managed this without Chris killing her, I'm not sure, but she does. Alex is a former STARS member, but she was in Europe with Chris when everything went down in RC. It was definitely Alex that was excited to see all the pretty girls Chris mentioned in his letter to Jill that's found at the police station by Leon. Alex doesn't really know Claire until she's reunited with her brother, and Alex started crushing pretty hard. At first, she just kinda asks around "subtly" to see if Jill or Wren, or anyone else, has information on this gorgeous woman she's become enamored with, who, delightfully, flirts back with her when they run into each other. Alex can sometimes come across as a frat boy with boobs, but she's good natured. She genuinely does want to get to know Claire, and she does, but she also saves her ass a couple of times too. In one instance, Alex tells her that she's gotta let Alex take her out on a date if they get out alive, which of course they do, and Alex cashes in almost immediately. Apparently Claire found Alex very charming, because they've been together since then.

Imogen x Chris: now these guys are fun. They're my enemies to lovers ship. Imogen is a shareholder and board member of Umbrella who also has a science degree--she fully believes in being knowledgeable about the things she invests in. She's one of the people Chris was investigating in Europe during the Raccoon City incident, and she's also the one that decided the plug needed to be pulled on the experiments there and deemed a lost cause. Imogen isn't interested in anything that will cost her money, and of course, when Umbrella tanks hard and pretty much dissolves after things get out, she isn't a very happy person. Imogen kinda scrambles to find a foothold in other pharmacutical companies or to establish some holding company in which she will have some freedom to use the viruses and formulas to her advantage so that she can achieve success again, Imogen doesn't like her money being fucked with. But she has people that are trying to kill her Wesker and that leads to her foolishly slipping and sleeping with Ada, which does almost get her killed. Almost. Luckily, or unluckily depending on how you look at it, Chris Redfield actually saves her ass. With strong disdain. Imogen had a very strong talent of turning to smoke whenever someone who was hunting her down got too close, which is why it took years for Chris to get to her--until she fucked up. So Chris saves her with the full intention of taking her into custody and he succeeds. Overall, she doesn't have many options in front of her but ultimately it was either help them or go to prison her whole life, because one of the things Imogen hoards greedily is information. And she is very very smart. Imogen and Chris reluctantly work together on different things, and eventually Imogen does get a front row seat of the things she's caused, and her own backstory trauma comes to the surface. So Imogen does grow and Chris is kinda there through the process, and its ultimately his understanding and eventual forgiveness that kinda...saves her a bit. She's still a cold bitch with a heart that grew a size or two, but she does put in more effort for the cause--so much so that she's actually a part of Blue Umbrella. Chris and Imogen have a very rocky road in terms of their relationship, and it mostly starts with kinda...having hate sex to be honest. But it gets healthier as Imogen grows to be a better person and Chris sees that and opens up to her a bit more.

Do you have any headcanons on what Wren, Alex and Whitney would be like in a relationship? I feel slightly ashamed I have so many ideas.

I have a lot, a ton, a million.

Male pronouns for the LI, female for the protag.

Wren is definitely not a good romantic partner, at least not at first. He's the type to want to sleep around. He'll always be apart from you with his jobs. But, holy fuck is he good at sex. You'll see him stare at others, driving you mad, however god forbid anyone even glances in your direction though. His fist will be connecting with their face before they can even look away. Wren's the type to need at least one part of himself touching you. Whether it's his hand on your thigh while he drives, or fully having you, sitting on his lap, in front of everyone he knows.

The Wren we see in game is young. I imagine him to be in his twenties, probably 25-28. But then, as he gets older, as you two settle down, he'll become the man you want. The kind that's always comes home to sleep in your bed. He's a tad old fashioned, wants you bringing him dinner every night. That's just how he was raise.

100% raised in the country. Few grades above Alex, probably went to school with their older siblings. Unpleasant childhood. His previous partners typically weren't serious, not like how he's serious with you. Every time Wren introduces you to someone new, you can tell if they've been together, carnally at least. It's all in the way they look at you. Whether it's how they look you up and down, evaluating your assets, or its how they always seem to "forget" your name. Nothing's ever gotten physical, perhaps only due to Wren's refusal to leave your side. Despite being constantly pulled away, when he's there, he'll want nothing more than to be with you.

Alex. My favorite. They want to take it slow. Not quite virginal, but sometimes it feels that way. His previous partners don't come up much, but when they do, they're typically from high school. Silly little girlfriends that he never got quite to third base with. But a few of the construction workers are a tad too friendly with him, and the cute young waitress at the diner seems to be a little too excited to see him. While he never fully takes a day off, for your birthday, the day will always start late, end early. His presents are typically practical. He's not great with his words, and he's never been particularly romantic but he's always trying to be thoughtful.

From the moment you two entered into a relationship beyond just fucking and flirting, you were his. His woman, his wife. Forever and always.

He wants to provide for you. Take care of you. Even if he doesn't take a lunch break, yours always come on time. Even if you insist. Nothing short of you bringing it to him will make him stop working. Granted, he eats like a pig during dinner. Always wants seconds and thirds.

He's a little bit of an alcoholic. Sometimes if you've been out for the evening, you'll come home to a slurring partner. One that can't help but slip his hands into your jeans or up your shirt. Alex's libido is uncontrollable at moments. Aggressive. Hips pounding into you, handprint bruises on your waist. Hairpulling and name calling.

Alex does want kids. But, until you two fully get rid of Remy, he can't justify having them. His biggest fear is Remy scaring you off, or worse. Sometimes, after an attack, he ends up just staring at you. Slightly afraid, extremely grateful you're there.

(Alex saves his cowboy hat for more formal occasions or riding, whereas Wren wears his all the tip. Wear the cowboy's hat, ride the cowboy.)

Whitney, my latest obsession. He's not the type to really do relationships. But he is, with you. Doesn't bring presents for holidays or your birthdays, but he'll remember them. Every Halloween, Valentine, and birthdays must be spent with him. Typically, presents, from you to him or him to you, are sexual. Whether it's your virginity for Christmas, or him eating you out for Valentines day. However, then you two graduate. You two move into a tiny apartment on the industrial side of town. Then, one Christmas, there's a present under the tree. It wasn't anything ornate or grand. Simply a necklace with his initial on it.

But it made you tear up a little bit. Made you two feel real, like the relationship just wasn't a fleeting fascination for him. You also cried over the guilt you had for not getting him a present. He was stumbling and stuttering, unsure of why you were crying. Years later he told you that he thought you cried out of hatred for the present.

From that point forward, there was always something under the tree. Or a box of chocolates waiting at home. And candles on the birthday cake.

He's never the touchy feely type. Honestly, his libido isn't egregious either. But when he wants you, best believe that he is going to have you. Even if he has to take it from you. You two have probably fucked in every bathroom around town.

Fights are explosive, emotional, over the top affairs that lead to slamming doors and cold, empty beds. But you two will always find yourselves back together. Maybe with a few sheepish apologies. You two haven't spent more than two nights apart since moving in together, and at this point, you never think you will.

Eventually, both of you will end up with a tattoo that signifies the other. He's a tattoo fiend. Only a few piercings. I'd imagine him as a mechanic.
