Finally picked back up a project I started a long time ago! Wanted to paint a Hayabusa figure! I took a lot some creative liberties esp with his stripes, but I'm pretty happy with how he's turned out :]

Still need to seal the paint, and get some scrap fabric to make his bandana but he's really coming along!

Guel's skeleton is out of its closet, and he shows us how much he's grown, even if he's still a more than a bit reckless and headstrong. His late in the fight turn around was rather brilliant.

Too many flags in this episode, fuck, I just... Petra's talk about Laudna, and Norea dropping her book. Elan-5 actually seems...different. Bit of character growth there. But... damn.

And Nika's got some work to do, especially with Chu-Chu, but they'll get there.

And Suletta... jeebus fuck. Girl's got so much heart, and it is hurting. Hopefully her friends can help.

Mio's in a rough spot, too, but...oof. Fuckin' Norea, gawd, I had the sneaking suspicion she was going to die (the other half of the pair did, and that generally means the half that survives an incident is also doomed; not a trope I am fond of, but it happens a lot).

Just... fuck. Last week's was a LOT, but this was at Asticassia, and...it was even MORE.

Someone's cute hopeful AU fanart becomes a fucking knife twist. I think... like, I know it's a widely used trope, the whole "prior antagonist goes on violence bender, starts to come around, then is annihilated" kind of stings (a LOT, in some cases), but...fuck. I mean, this was a war, in every sense but...oof. Tthe trope is used to drive home the point that war is fucking hell, I guess, which is, for the most part, Mobile Suit Gundam's whole deal.

...I still have that art up, I'm gonna have to find it FUUUUCK.

In case you couldn't tell, I was more fond of Norea than Sophie, but still... the whole "curse of the Gundam" thing.

Found the last Canine Warriors dog but for some reason he wants us to meet him at night. At night we battle and won. However we learn a sad truth. It turns that the original Hayabusa was killed fighting demons to save the boy father Mushi. He can't just them he has to protect them. So the orb choose us in stead. I can respect that I wonder how the princess is going to react.

i'd like to order a hanzo hc too but i cannot choose a topic... maybe your favorite hc/bunch of hcs? does that narrow it down enough?

YEA! I have a couple 

1. Hanzo’s dragon split into two after the big fight with Genji - I get that Blizzard probably just did it so that they feel like Hanzo and Genji have variations in their ult, but there’s a lot I feel that you can do with it. As in like, even in the lore it says Hanzo was heartbroken after having thought he had killed Genji. 

I see the dragons as a representation of the soul, and after the fight, Hanzo was so split between what he thought was right for the clan and what was so wrong about the whole thing, that he shattered on that kind of level. It’s just especially interesting since the Dragons short itself and all of Hanzo’s voicelines only dictate there being one Dragon of the South Wind. I don’t know if we’ll ever get lore to cover it since Chu is gone now, but he did remark one time that the Shimada dragons aren’t Magic, so maybe it’s from the soul, maybe it’s hardlight tech nanites or something...

I do like the idea that the tattoos are the Dragons’ seal

2. Shimada mama (Shimama) came from a clan that had spirit wolves - If you take a look at the old concept art for the Shimada family emblem, it had wolves worked into it at some points along side a dragon. 

I like to think it was bc of Shimama and it’s why Hanzo has the Okami/Lone Wolf skins

3. (Hear me out) Hanzo likes to do dumb food challenges  - Okay, so, Hanzo Shimada: control as hard as steel, but as we have seen... likes to indulge a lil’ from time to time. Or at least, I’d hope that with his two cakes for a snack voiceline from the winter event confirms that he has a sweet tooth bc that is literally one of my favorite Hanzo HCs. 

BUT BACK ON TRACK- It was something I thought of a long time ago for shits and giggles, but then looking at the Ramen spray from Archives I was like, Hanzo really powered through four bowls of ramen like nothing, huh. So to my absolute delight when the Overwatch Cookbook came out and one of Genji’s recipes said that they used to have competitions about who could eat the most ramen, as well as the spiciest, I was sold. Hanzo likes to do that dumb shit to remind himself of when times were good, sometimes he does them out of spite if he’s told he can’t do it, he always wins, and I don’t know... but he’s been traveling the world for 10 years, so I can only imagine the kind of shit he’s maybe done while not having attempts on his life

Short Story EXCITEMENT!

Yo that Baptiste short story got me thinking of so many theories rn okay??? I need to chat with people and brainstorm this ish!!! 

Like I’m so HAPPY Blizz is giving us more lore with these short stories. I do miss the comics and I believe they do plan to make more of them in the near future, but with these short stories they just give us tiny bits more details compared to the comics. It’s amazing!!! 

My predictions/bucket list for future short stories (with the current short stories taking place in the present day timeline that’s our focus for now):

1. McCree - Jesse attending to the “business” he mentioned to Echo before stealing Ashe’s bike and leaving Route 66. There’s an infinity of possibilities as to what that could be. Resuming his search for Ana? Looking and recruiting more ex-Overwatch agents to join the Recall? Who knows!

2. Zenyatta - this omnic DESPERATELY needs a lore dump, Michael Chu please!! We could have Zenyatta rendezvousing with Genji asking him about his meeting with Hanzo (as referenced in their voice interactions). We could have Zenyatta taking on another student, learning more about his relationship with Mondatta and the other Shambali Monks in Nepal. (AND WHY THE HECK HIS ORBS AREN’T CANNON IN LORE JEFF??)

3. Lucio - This frog boi is also in need of a comic and/or animated short. We could learn more about his relationship with his father and learn more about him working with Vishkar and the development of the Sonic Amplifier. Maybe him going out on tour and meeting Efi and Orisa in Numbani or Hana in Busan. 

4. Symmetra - This short story could potentially add onto her comic’s story. Maybe picking it up soon after or years later maybe when Symmetra finally decides to confront Sanjay about some of his methods (and potentially learn more about Sanjay working as a Talon operative), maybe Symmetra seeks out Lucio’s help hearing about his rebellion in Rio. 

5. Wrecking Ball(Hammond) - Perhaps we could dive into more lore about his time in Junkertown, how he became the Champion and deciding to leave and explore more of the planet and potentially running into Winston again. 

6. Hanzo - Seeing what his life is like now after his meeting with Genji for the first time in 10 years. Getting a glimpse of his new day to day life and routine. Maybe another run in with another assassin ordered to kill him. (Potential for other Yakuza clans to make an appearance). My headcannon is that he and Genji’s mother were either a member or a previous leader of an Okami spirit wolf wielding clan (explaining why Hanzo has the Okami legendary skin). 

The possibilities are limitless if you just think hard enough about the stories lore and each character’s current lore in general.
