This is a random question, but what is each OC's favorite and least favorite movie? Or tv show?
Oooooh, love this question.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Isaac is a huge Marvel fan, and absolutely LOVES ‘Captain America: Civil War’, and he could watch it any time he’s bored. His least favorite movie would probably be that live action ‘Dora The Explorer’ movie, which he was definitely forced to see with his lil sis😭
Oliver loves a movie I mentioned in an older fic: the version of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ that has Leonardo DiCaprio in it. He absolutely LOVES that movie more than any other. And he doesn’t have a least favorite movie, but rather a least favorite genre. He hates any kind of horror movie with a ton of gore and violence.
Aiden is a huge Marvel fan like Isaac and he loves ‘The Amazing Spiderman’ with Andrew Garfield, and he absolutely has a literal Spiderman suit at his parents’ house that he wears on Halloween to hand candy out to kids. And his least favorite tv-show is the new ‘Pokémon: Horizons’ show that he takes as a personal offense as a life-long Pokémon lover (and I honestly agree).
Spirit absolutely loves one movie and one show: ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Haikyuu’. She loves ‘Deadpool’ because he’s funny, he’s Ryan Reynolds, and he’s just an awesome anti-hero. And the anime ‘Haikyuu’ is a guilty pleasure for her and she watches it when she just wants to relax and chill. As for her least favorite movie, she absolutely hates ‘The Shallows’, which is a terrifying shark movie.
Keiko absolutely loves the show ‘House’ and even has a sentimental stuffed koala he named Dr. Wilson, which Amberlynn finds absolutely adorable. And he hates the movie ‘Stepbrothers’ because he finds it to be the ultimate level of cringy.
Amberlynn’s favorite movie is ‘Oliver and Company’ because it always makes her just feel happy, and she knows EVERY SONG by heart. And her least favorite movie is the Christmas ‘Beethoven’ movie where they made Beethoven talk😭.
Eliana truly has so much love for ‘The Dead Poets Society’ despite how much it makes her sob. And her least favorite movie is ‘Love and Gelato’ because she firmly believes that they ruined the story from the original book.
Jordan is an addict when it comes to ‘Greys Anatomy’, and she has Arizona Robbins to thank for her discovery that she’s into girls😘. And she agrees with El that ‘Love and Gelato’ is the worst movie to EVER exist because she also loves the original book.
Birdie’s favorite movie is ‘Inside Out’ because it makes her feel so many emotions that eventually all just turn nostalgic. And her least favorite show is ‘SpongeBob’ for the simple reason that, as she puts it, “his laugh scratches my brain the wrong way.”
Felix is a 110% ‘Gilmore Girls’ fanatic and knows almost every single detail of almost every single episode, and even has a Pinterest board that’s just photos of Tristan, Dean, Jess, and Logan. And he despises the live action version of ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ cuz. . . reasons.
Atticus loves the movie ‘Little Rascals’ and he used to watch it every day as a kid, and still loves it now that he’s older. And he hates ‘Chucky: Childs Play’, which is the goriest horror movie that he’s ever seen, and he started crying the first and last time he watched it when he was 13 and at the movies with friends who did tease him for it a little, but comforted him when they realized how genuinely upset and sick it made him to watch.

“Whaaa~ is mister report having yet another one of his friends over?” A voice said from where the door is and looking towards it you can see Flynn peaking his head through the opening of the door… well actually is Sanity judging by the hairstyle and the unhinged smile he has today and of course not it mentions the red eyes!
Sanity walked in the office of the reporter and started to examine the new guest “but I must say this one actually seems more interesting, say say~ what your name and are you buy any chance a hunter =)???”
@idv-ask-the-showman
(Da child is here cuz why not? He wanna say hi no worries u3u)
“Oh- hello Sanity.” Laurence fixes his glasses with that same signature smile he has. Funny, one maniac can make another maniac be summoned. Out of other places, it has to be in his studio/ih
“Oh, hi Chucky!” The strange glasses guy responds.
“That’s Sanity, Macabre-“
“I know.” The newcomer laughs, “It’s a horror movie reference.”
“… Now you’re making me think he is red headed- ginger- whatever that scarred face doll has.” 🥲 Laurence rubs his forehead, sighing with a smile that seems to tell in disappointment.
“Anyway! Hey there.” The horror fanatic freak casually greets, giving a wave. “Just call me Macabre for now- Is not like you’ll me often anyway. Chances of me going through a match are pretty odd- The baron seems to not have a good impression about me!” ^^
“And to answer your question- mmm…” He talks, putting his fingers on his chin as if pretending to think as his eyes held a fiery energy, “That is something you’ll later figure out when we meet at a match, mate.”😇
He goes back to normal, “A greeting would be a proper start for an introduction, don’t you think my friend?” The Hollywood star jokingly says with a goofy look.

The original book for Charlie and The Chocolate Factory was a lot darker. There were more kids and they all died in more gruesome ways. The parents too. And Willy Wonka was disturbingly chipper about it or was completely unaffected. Like "kids dying or as I like to call it, an average tuesday." It was originally meant to be a full on horror. (More than the original already is-) The author of the books made a series of horror stories which are really good.
WHY WE AINT GET THIS???????
lil channy is a horror fanatic as long as dolls and spiders werent involved---
until I was 12, dolls were fair game cause i got over my fear of chucky

Finally watching the chucky TV series and fully started crying at "you don't care that they think I'm weird you just care that they know I'm a fag" chucky fucking glaring round at this kids dad and immediately drenching him in whisky and electrocuting him. It's so cathartic. Is this what teen drama quote unquote representation means to normal people . Am I going to have to develop empathy for the bad teen media stans over this 14yo queer weirdo artist and true crime fanatic and his best friend the unkillable murder doll from the 80s who enthusiastically encourages murder and violence but draws the fuckin line at queerphobia and classism. I'm obsessed with them

The Impact of Horror in My Life
by Dakota M.
Finding comfort in the items around oneself is rather common. Some individuals have blankets, songs, stuffed animals, toys, and etc. Even I myself have an orange fat tabby cat stuffed animal named Pumpkin. I could possibly always listen to music, but it did not bring me as much comfort as other forms of entertainment. Toys? Sure, as a kid, I remember having these My Little Pet Shop animals that I loved. Blankets? Absolutely, I love the comfort of a soft blanket. However, nothing comforted me more than the genre of Horror.
Horror a genre of jump scares, suspense, and gore. Yet even as a little girl I found comfort in all three of those staples of the genre. The creepy has always given me a sense of self. I remember the times I would wake up early around the Halloween season to watch Goosebumps by R.L. Stine on Cartoon Network from Elementary school into Junior High. The main title song rings a sense of nostalgia deep inside. A sense of home reached for me out of the pages of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark by Alvin Schwartz. I found this home within the collected stories over the decades.
I could place memories of watching Killer Klowns from Outerspace with my Dad and Nana at the Holiday Twin Drive-In located in Fort Collins, CO. Always going the concession stand grabbing popcorn, drinks, and some candy. We also brought a meal from KFC so that we ate dinner while waiting for the sky to go dark. At this exact drive-in I have watched: Beetlejuice, War of the Worlds, Zombieland, The Addams Family, The Night of the Living Dead, Halloween, and more. This has been constant in my life, and a thing I take pride in even.
In high school I wrote reports on many horror-based subjects. For psychology it was about real serial killers, for art it was about capturing the horror in everyday photography, and for English it was all about writing my own stories for the genre. High school marked an era for my life where I began to cosplay. Creepy anime was big for me to cosplay at that point. Death Note, Soul Eater, and High School of the Dead. I got to see my comfort range across all forms of entertainment.
Getting into my adult years I began to cosplay from Resident Evil, Halloween 1978, Scream 1996, The Bride of Chucky, Dead by Daylight, and many other titles. Core memories made with the horror genre, the spooky stories, ghost tales, and the macabre. I began watching horror shows as well. One held a special place in my heart though. I watched Stranger Things season 1 the day it first came out. Love at first dice roll, so to speak. Relatability for bullied and downtrodden, plus the music was a bop. At this point I was trying to do college work, work, and still find myself.
Finding myself came through events that shook my life. A little after a few of those events COVID-19 hit. I found myself losing my mind in the solitude of the lock down. No horror movies at the theaters with friends and family, no boardgames, no cosplay events, and almost no outside time. I spoke with my best friends, and we came up with an idea. I should stream on Twitch. WitchyBunBun was born. This felt like me.
WitchyBunBun a stream name for a horror fanatic, who also happens to be into magical practices perfect. The channel theme is two important things in my life: Stranger Things and Horror. My comfort in the horror genre, the macabre, the creepy, and some D&D 80s horror show got to shine for all. Horror not only was my childhood comfort, but it also became my everyday comfort. Becoming a part of my everyday life, and dreams for careers. I have made a name for myself from the memories I shared with my Nana and Dad.

5 horror romance movies to watch on Valentine's Day
Tumblr media
Even the hardiest horror fanatics need a day to indulge in the sweeping romanticism of the season, however twisted a form the cinematic manifestation of that love might take. Here you have the best horror romance movies to watch on Valentine's Day.
1-Vampyros Lesbos (1971)
Tumblr media
The tagline for Vampyros Lesbos is "a psycho-sexadelic horror freakout." It's about as accurate a descriptor of the joys within as can be mustered. Beautifully shot, with a killer psychedelic rock'n'roll soundtrack -- Vampyros Lesbos details the journey of a vampiress who must satiate her unbearable craving for female blood.
2-Bride of Chucky (1998)
Tumblr media
Bride of Chucky marks the point where the series takes a more humorous turn, often into self-referential parody. Contrary to the previous three films, the violence in Bride of Chucky is punctuated by humour to deflate the macabre visuals. The film follows the events of the previous films continuity-wise, but not tonally or in a continuation of those film's overall plot, where Chucky pursued the main protagonist Andy Barclay.
3-Spontaneous (2020)
Tumblr media
When students in their high school begin inexplicably exploding (literally...), seniors Mara (Katherine Langford) and Dylan (Charlie Plummer) struggle to survive in a world where each moment may be their last. As an unexpected romance blossoms between them, Mara and Dylan discover that when tomorrow is no longer promised, they can finally start living for today.
4-Red Riding Hood (2011)
Tumblr media
Valerie is a beautiful young woman torn between two men. She is in love with a brooding outsider, Peter , but her parents have arranged for her to marry the wealthy Henry. Unwilling to lose each other, Valerie and Peter are planning to run away together when they learn that Valerie's older sister has been killed by the werewolf that prowls the dark forest surrounding their village.
5-Scream 2 (1997)
Tumblr media
Sidney is in college and once again finds herself the target of a psychotic killer. However, this time, the killer's murder count is higher and the killings more outrageous.

Poor Chucky, no success for her and the series than. No swaning around at a red carpet clinging at Alex to let all the people see that she got him as a price.
For Alex it sucks too, but maybe he needs a little reality check as well. Yes he was famous for Vikings and got himself a little success and fame in Denmark, but it’s fading at the moment faster as he could wish for I think. His fame in Denmark isn’t that huge anymore and maybe he’s only at the point to be good known and having some good connections etc.
And since he’s sucking faces with Chucky nothing seems to work for him I guess.
Sad but true I guess and have also the feeling that his Lebanon trip for the Red Cross will backfire at him too because of the situation in Israel. As far as this war will going on and Lebanon will also be involved into it, this trip will also fall onto his feet because for some ( fanatic pro Palestine etc) it will be seen as a sign what he probably supports, even when it isn’t claimed as something like that, you know what I mean?
Back than he was loud for Black Lives Matter, but he’s been silent for the war in the Ukraine and now Israel too
Thank you for sharing your opinion, anon. 😊
To be fair, his trip to Lebanon took place a while ago, before the sad turn of events between the Hamas and Israel we’re all seeing at the moment. He even posted something about it (yesterday, I think?) on his stories, about helping people in need, regardless of nationality, religion, etc… So at most, it could be a sign of him supporting peace and humanity, nothing more, nothing less. In my opinion, of course.
And as much as we all like seeing our favourite celebrities using their platforms to advocate for things that really matter, the truth is that they’re under no obligation to do so. They’re not politicians, they’re not world leaders and while their opinion may be heard & seen by a lot of people and have a bigger impact, they still don’t have the power to change the situation. Sometimes, they’re even criticised online for voicing their opinions, as in “what do these people know anyway?”. So it’s a “you’re damned if you do, and you’re damned if you don’t” situation. Maybe he’s not too informed on the situation yet and would like to take the time to educate himself before making his thoughts public? Maybe he prefers to keep them to himself? Time will tell, but I don’t really think we should judge him for it.

what age did you get into this horror stuff? I’m so curious!!
Well according to my parents I watched the whole movie of scream with them when I was 2. Then when I was 4 they caught me watching child’s play on my tv/vcr player (IYKYK) and then I was at the mall one day when I was that age and saw the chucky doll in the window at Spencers ( the one with all the nasty cuts on his face) and apparently threw a tantrum because I wanted the doll so I’d say, I was just raised into it lmao both my parents are horror fanatics, they took me to my first Halloween horror nights when I was 10 & then I saw the grudge in theaters when I was a kid with my mom 😬

In cooperation with USA Network and SYFY channel’s Chucky, Elysian Brewing Company releases CHUCKY: A Killer Wit Beer.
Tumblr media
Ask anyone what October means to them, and they’ll probably use terms like scary, Halloween, pumpkins, dressing up, and of course scary movies. Ask anyone the same question in September and they’ll probably use words like fall, leaves changing, shorter days, and the end of shorts. But they definitely won’t recall things like pumpkins, let alone pumpkin beer. Just don’t tell that to the breweries in the region or across the country, because they’ve been producing pumpkin-fermented, pumpkin-spiced, or pumpkin-inspired beers since early August.
Tumblr media
Included in that list of breweries, who aren’t afraid of a little seasonal creep, Elysian Brewing Company has been producing pumpkin beers for 25+ years. In fact, some might say it’s not Fall until you have a six-pack of Night Owl in your fridge. But we know the brewery for so many other beers made with this large, orange gourd..
Tumblr media
With names like Night Owl, Punkuccino, Dark O’ The Moon, and The Great Pumpkin, the brewery isn’t short on names or the use of unique recipes. It’s this desire to find unique uses for pumpkins and associated spices that has led to the latest beer from one of Seattle’s oldest breweries.
In cooperation with television networks SYFY and USA, Elysian Brewing Company and the television series Chucky are pleased to release CHUCKY: A Killer Wit Beer.
Loaded with pumpkin puree, chamomile, cinnamon, and a heavy dose of cranberry juice, the brewery invites you to try their latest limited-edition release.
Tumblr media
Nothing screams Halloween quite like Chucky, so Elysian Brewing has partnered with USA Network and SYFY ahead of the second season of the hit TV series to release CHUCKY: A Killer Wit Beer (5.3% ABV). Just like the devious doll, this pumpkin witbier with cranberry will be your friend ’til the very end. Saturated with blood-red cranberry juice and entangled with pumpkin mangled into a puree, the beer is light in color with spine-chilling flavors of chamomile and cinnamon – the perfect combination of everything you love about the season. Are you brave enough to try a haunted beer this fall?
And why wouldn’t you be excited for this Halloween-inspired release?
Described by the brewery, “CHUCKY: A Killer Wit Beer is super drinkable and light, we think that it’ll be enjoyed by a wide variety of palates”.
For the uninitiated, here’s more about Chucky the TV series.
… a continuation of the iconic film franchise chronicling the murderous escapades of the notorious killer doll. In the TV series, Chucky crosses paths with archenemies, old allies and new prey, as he seeks to inspire fear and mayhem wherever he goes.
For Executive Vice President, Entertainment Consumer Engagement and Brand Strategy, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, Ellen Stone, they couldn’t be more excited about this cooperation.“
Chucky is one of Halloween’s most iconic, beloved characters and we have found the perfect partner in Elysian Brewing to capture his spirit this season. This custom pumpkin beer provides a fresh, unique way for fans and beer fanatics alike to quench their thirst with a taste of Chucky ahead of the season two premiere.
Now available wherever you find most Elysian Brewing Company beers, look for CHUCKY: A Killer Wit Beer on draft and in bottles, throughout the country. Or use the brewery’s Beer Finder on www.elysianbrewing.com. And get ready for “Chucky” season 2, starting Wednesday, October 5th at 9:00 PM ET on USA Network & SYFY.
About‌ Elysian Brewing Elysian Brewing opened its doors in 1996 when bold art and music defined Seattle. Over the past 25 years, the brewery team has carried this same spirit in the way they brew their beer - shaking up classic styles, using unusual ingredients, and learning from experimentation. They push creativity beyond their brews. Each beer label is made by an in-house team who pull inspiration from design, photography, clay, paint, needlepoint, and even the occasional tattoo. Have a beer at one of the brewery’s Seattle locations, or check out www.elysianbrewing.com / @elysianbrewing.
About‌ “Chucky” “Chucky” is a continuation of the iconic film franchise chronicling the murderous escapades of the notorious killer doll. In the TV series, Chucky crosses paths with archenemies, old allies and new prey, as he seeks to inspire fear and mayhem wherever he goes. After his diabolical plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals was foiled in season one, Chucky now seeks revenge on those he holds responsible: surviving teens Jake, Devon, and Lexy along with his ex Tiffany, now his sworn enemy. Meanwhile, can “Jevon” make it as a couple in the face of adversity at their new Catholic school, not to mention a brand-new onslaught of terror from the demon doll?
The series is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, and executive produced by Don Mancini, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, David Kirschner and Jeff Renfroe.
