#cipher solving

chat im missing 2 symbols from generation loss video :(

from what i know abt cipher making usually you would want to do it in the language you speak the most (which is english) or use the english alphabet or something similar. i have 24 known symbols, KXV are confirmed too and only K is used so that means that this can be beat by just counting how many symbols and then comparing it to charts of common letters and do it that way. i have a theory that im missing Z and Q cause theyre the most unused in the english alphabet behind K, V, and X.

i dont think theyre important if they didnt show up but itll mess up me trying to cross examine it with charts on common letters with a computer...

if anyone has theories to where Z and Q are then please repost!!!

EDIT: okay i realized that it might be Z and J missing because theyre the main characters of gen 1. if thats so im absolutely might be screwed. ill try both of my theories. also i think | is a letter, not a space even if it does make sense that they are spaces. If it is spaces then i have three missing letters that are Z, Q, and J i feel

Huge congrats to these two for solving it and to everyone who gave it a crack. We're not 100% certain yet but these do seem to be real enough sentences to fit the Gravity Falls vibe the Book of Bill has going for it.

I really want a silly crackfic where Stan and Eda did a bad job at divorcing (a thing Eda only discovers later in life when she decides to mary Raine in the human realm in exchange for food because Camilla lied about having to attend a wedding so she wouldn't have to a co-worker gender revew party except the annoying co-worker wants pictures) and drops by the Mystery Shack.

Somehow in the process of confirming it online for Stan, Dipper sends frantic texts about how Ford might have drunkly married an evil triangle during kareoke night and now Stan, Ford, Eda, Bill, Camilla, Luz and Dipper go into a divorce quest.

Timestuck Soos

So, Timestuck is one of my favorite AU's, and there's been a lot of sub au's (Young Stan and Ford go to the 80's, young stan and ford end up in 2012, Dipper and Mabel end up in 1960 something, Wendy gets transported, etc.)

My idea is Soos is the one transported back in time.

Soos is already Mr. Mystery, so he knows all the drama. He's repairing something around the shack when he accidently grabs a time tape and just zoops back to shortly after Stan gets kicked out.

Soos is slightly confused (not in the "wtf is going on" way but in the "Hmm... oh cool, it's my turn to time travel), but he sees his pretty much adopted father (I headcanon Stan adopts Soos post show) down in the dumps, and decides to help Stan.

Meanwhile, Stan is confused. This big guy who looks kinda like a gopher just showed up, recognized him, and then proceeds to act like an older brother/ father (something Stan has no idea how to deal with).

Soos effectively becomes a perfect distraction for any of Stan's cons, while also teaching Stan some new cons. Dumb cons, like pretending Soos is a descendant of Paul Bunyan. and then getting chased out of Minnesota by the actual descendants of Paul Bunyan,

Eventually, Stan and Soos head towards Gravity Falls. Soos shuts down every argument between Stan and Ford because it's Soos. Bill tries to convince Ford not to trust Soos, but Soos is literally so pure Ford just... ignores Bill.

Eventually, everything is resolved and Soos is like, "Alright dudes, I gotta head home now."

Stan is concerned. "Wait, wasn't your time-doohickey broken?"

Soos laughs "Oh yeah dude. but only for the first week or so. I fixed it within, like, a week."

"So... you could have just gone home at any point?" Stan asks.

"I mean, yeah. But I wasn't gonna abandon you, Mr. Pines."

Fic Idea

So...after reading The Book of Bill,

he's talking to the reader constantly and saying things to egg the reader on to make a deal with him. And then he shows the reader things/ tells them things that have never been seen before.

What if he was successful with pulling a reader into Gravity Falls?

When it comes to toxic behavior people are aware and sometimes people think it’s a fun story beat to work with (aka Toxic old man yaoi) That a big part of it! They have a lot of fun dynamics! They can both be toxic! They can be wholesome! They can be losers! They can be cool normal-ish! They can be a God and an scientist! They can be a triangle and a man! They can be divorced! They can be married! It can be one sided! The can both somehow like each other and never get together! They can be obsessed with each other!

But!!!! There are some “cuter” stories!

Before the break up (Can be Bill just fumbling the hoes by being evil.)

Happy ever after! (Bill doesn’t Betray Ford.)

I can be better. ( it’s a redemption arc)

That meat sack is cute. (Bill having a crisis.)
