the real reason clarisse was mad all the time is that she got to chb and realized that blistering heat (110 degree weather) was not a thing and didn’t have to be subjected to heat unimaginable just by walking outside

so the other day i was talking to my friend when he said “oh yeah i love the percy jackson movies”

so naturally i had to yell at him.

so what did i do?

i ranted for AN HOUR about how luke deserves better

and then he was like “clarisse sucks”

so then i took five minutes to explain how she’s fantastic

then he was confused about how annabeth fits into all this or smthn

so i took 20 mins to explain that

it was fantastic

and this is why you shouldn’t rely on the movies to give you accurate plot info

For the first line, in some myths, Aphrodite is born out of Uranus’s blood and the sea foam, which would make her one of the oldest gods.

for the second line: Selina is a demigod, all of them reach sixteen against all odds.

third line: all of the demigods saw the world in endless sleep when they first arrived at the battle of manhattan.

fourth line: Selina was a hero, even though she was the traitor. “She was a hero. A hero. Understand?!” Said by Clarisse. And idk about the cursed blade part but maybe Clarisse’s spear that she stole?

fifth line: Her choice to go back to camp and pretend to be Clarisse to make sure the Ares cabin fought, therefore bringing Clarisse into the battle. And then that choice ultimately makes her die.

sixth line: She was the one that made Clarisse go, and without Clarisse, they would have never made it past the Drakon, because only a child of Ares could kill it. Without her pretending to be Clarisse, they never would have won.

guys, Luke is the perfect child. Thats the whole point! He gave his offerings he said his prayers he went on his quest he proved his loyalty to Chiron, to the gods, to his dad. And he did it all with a smile. They have no reason to suspect luke! Luke is the best of them!

Ares could’ve come to that meeting waving a big sign that said “LUKES THE LIGHTNING THIEF” and they still wouldn’t have believed him.

Because they also don’t want it to be Luke.

They love Luke. Luke takes care of them Luke protects them Luke is everything they want in an older brother. It doesn’t matter how blaringly obvious the writers get about who the real thief is. They will ignore every sign, every red flag, every warning, until Percy is dying of poison deep in the forest and Luke is gone.

It's been 7 long years.

The final season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians has just begun to release.

The Ares and Apollo cabins are in a dispute over ownership for the flying chariot.

The counselors sit around a table in the Big House.

Percy has just learned that he's (probably) gonna die in the next month, when Clarisse and Michael begin to bicker. Percy has had it up to here.

He starts clapping rhythmically. There is a lull in the room as they stare at him.

He claps faster.

"Oh golly, the road's getting bumpy, cause I've got me some friends who just can't get along-"

Ares saying he hates his own kids and the worst day of the year is when they visit him makes my heart break for Clarisse more. Clarisse fights so hard for scraps of her father’s attention and Ares sees her as just another nuisance. He doesn’t care about her unless she’s able to serve him. But Clarisse (like Annabeth) thinks she just has to work harder for him to love her. In her mind, it’s all her fault. Which is why she is so angry when little punk Percy strolls in at twelve years old, no training and unclaimed, and immediately defeats the minotaur. In three days hes already got the gods attention and his father claimed him. Of course she’s angry.
