A few more silly bugs. These aren’t pets they are still on Brokentooth but they have names and hats

The hats were just gonna be the normals ones at first but I’m way too entertained by being able to steal other grumps hats for you silly big dress up

Yay bugsnax oc lore dump

Like in my last post the black grump is named Cheker Cookpod. They are a chef that came the snacktooth to advance their culinary career

Their parents are world renowned chefs, Rasmine Cookyodel (yellow) and Trod poppod (blue)

Cheker was always known as “Rasmine Cookpod’s kid” because she’s the more famous one in the family. They don’t like that they’re always compared to their mother and wants to be known for being Cheker the cook and not just someone else’s kid

But no matter what they do they’re always just “Rasmine Cookpod’s kid” so they come to snacktooth because they found out about The unique food there. They hope to bring back a new recipe using the new food so that they would be known for something other than their parents.

I like to think that they would stay on brokentooth instead of snacktooth and they would give you the key that leads to the triplicate space.

Their fave snacks would be clawbsteroni and spaghiter

CLAWBSTERONI

Clawbsteroni has one of the best names in the game, I think! It is so silly but at the same time, it has all the necessary bits. Claw, lobster, macaroni. All it’s missing is the cheese, but that would overcomplicate the name, so it’s ok.

Clawbsteroni’s design cleverly implements not just the classic curved tube macaroni, but also the slightly last classic shell shaped pasta! Overall, it really perfectly attains a lobster shape, while being made of nothing BUT two different shapes of pasta.

You may ask Clawbsteroni, “my, what big claws you have! What are you going to do with those? I do hope you will not snip me with them.” Clawbsteroni would reply, “Clawbsteroni”, because it cannot talk. But don’t worry, it will not snip you! It does not even have enough claw parts to snip.

Clawbsteroni WILL use its claws to manipulate object! It carries around trampolines, referred to as BELOVED trampolines, and that is so sweet. It is a gentle giant who just wants to hold a trampoline, because it likes it! Obviously, since this is a videos game, this means that you can Bounce on the trampoline, and that Clawbsteronis can be lured to different areas to allow you to bounce to previously unreachable heights. Bouncing in Bugsnax was really long overdue, I think. Yes, we had LAUNCHING, but BOUNCING is different! Less technical, more whimsical!

The trampoline is quite interesting from a Lore perspective, too. Obviously, it was not made by Bugsnax, but the ancient Grumpuses who once inhabited Broken Tooth. It doesn’t have anything to stand on by itself, so it seems it may have been made specifically FOR Clawbsteroni! Could this be a beast of burden? A DOMESTICATED Bugsnak?

Another very clever thing about Clawbsteroni is that its food basis is NOT just macaroni and cheese. It’s based on lobster macaroni and cheese, which is confirmed by it being referred to as “LobsterMac” in the files! This makes it the only Bugsnak whose bug basis is actually present in its food basis!

And finally, I love the horns it gives through snakification. Turn your Grumpuses into funny bats! Happy Halloween!

I've recently picked up quite the obsession with Bugsnax due to it coming to xbox and HOLY SHIT the game is fucking amazing! I've completed the game and the DLC, but currently trying to 100% the game and catching all the cute little fellas and I HAVE to share my favorites.

First one on the list is very basic but very deserved:

FUCKING BUNGER

#2 CLAWBSTERONI- this big fella is so funky (also i fucking love pasta)

isle of bigsnax is just a little bittersweet for me (game mechanic spoilers under the cut)

like ok you . throw make smaller powder at the bugsnax so you can catch them as normal so it just like, adds a ‘oh you have to add the make them smaller powder to them before you capture them!’ but i was really hoping for a revised set of tools or like, closer to the legendary bugsnak fights like the mothza supreme with the big pizza rollers, & maybe even with a bigger backpack you can’t keep as much bugsnak in there because the snax are so big. also I wish we could have Bigger Gramble Ranch so I could go in and pat Big Bunger but that’s not much of an issue. i get it’s free dlc and i really like the more involved environment in broken tooth but the making them small first element is kinda just bummin me out. why not a bigger net :(
