Hey, I’m not planning to be off hiatus here yet but I’ve been feeling really overwhelmed because of my following count and there are a lot of people I follow that went inactive or don’t see myself writing with.

I’m planning to do a softblock spree so if anyone still wants to write with me and remain mutuals, please give a like. Also, please don’t like if you’d like to keep me as a number on your follower count and not having any plans to write with me at all. It’s hard for me to tell these days which ones are still interested to write with me, as I’ve been having these experiences of losing mutuals frequently and I’m very discouraged. I still wanna write with my mutuals, but I wanna know who still are down to write with me despite my inactivity.

If I removed you as a mutual, you’re welcome to refollow and send me a message if you still wanna interact. I just wanna have a clean dash and keep the ones that are truly interested with my muses.

she doesn’t respond, just looks at him with a smile. his throat feels a little tight, and he’s looking back at her. he can’t help the way his eyes flick down just a little bit to look at her lips, despite how hard he’s trying to focus on her eyes.  he almost says something. it almost escapes his chest before another boom makes them both jump and they look ahead, seeing yellow sparks in the sky. she taps on her phone, just to check the time before she looks up at him, “happy new year, rin.” she’s finally remembered to say his first name, and he swears his heart stops for a second. he  returns her smile, “happy new year, y/n.” it’s their second new year together. another year of sitting close side by side, not actually watching the fireworks but watching her. another year of doing nothing more. another year that he’s said nothing.
