hey while we're on the "powers as physical metaphors for how people respond to trauma" train. can we talk about how Dennis triggered bc of the ongoing treatment of a parent with a terminal illness. and he was given the ability to delay the passage of time, but eventually the future will catch up to it, no matter what? and because the time its frozen is randomized, even when he does manage to stop something, he never knows how long he has?
