Favorite clois moments of all time(in movies/tv shows/comics)

When there is 80 years of history, several long-running TV shows and movies… it’s so hard to keep my list of favourite Clois moments short.

I kept thinking of Clois moments I liked, and then taking them off the list, then adding more or changing my mind about which ones to include… and then I just gave up and decided it was OK if my list was extremely long.

Get ready to read a list of every Clois moment ever... well, not really, but I think this might come close.

Superman the Movie (1978)

"You've got me... who's got you?!?"

The first time Superman rescues Lois. It’s an iconic moment for a reason. And honestly, this was the very first moment I even thought of when pondering the answer to this question.

Pilot 1x01

Lois tells Clark she’s top banana.

“And one other thing, you are not working with me, you are working for me. I call the shots, I ask the questions. You are low man, and I am top banana and that’s the way I like it. Comprende?”

“You like to be on top, got it.”

Whine, Whine, Whine 2x21

“We’re partners and best friends and… this.”

Lois tells Clark she’s not seeing Dan anymore and that he is the one she wants to be with. She even chooses him over Superman.

And The Answer Is… 2x22 & We Have a Lot to Talk About 3x01

Clark proposes to Lois in an epic season cliffhanger. This moment is iconic.

Ordinary People 3x02

"It's just you and me, Joe and Judy regular. Wanna neck?"

This episode is both hilarious and ridiculous, but one of the producers (or writers? it may have been in an episode commentary) once said if you wanted to know what Dean and Teri were like in real life [at the time], watch this episode.

Ultra Woman 3x07

"I love you more… more than I ever have and more than I ever thought I could love anyone."

This is the mirror scene of Clark’s proposal, where Lois proposes to Clark this time around, and it is very heartfelt and sweet.

"Falling in love with you has been so easy..."

Finally they're married! The wedding vows. Listen to Lois's vows to Clark here, then go and listen to Clark's vows to Lois from Smallville. There are a couple of lines almost identical.

Clark uses his heat vision to warm up Lois's... feet ;) I love it when Lois and Clark get to be both playful and sexy at the same time.

Lois interrupts Clark’s shower, because personal boundaries are not something she seems to care about when it comes to Clark.

Slowly connecting and getting closer… because they might pretend they don't like each other, but deep down they already care a lot.

"Pumpkin." "Muffin." "Poodle." "Cupcake."

The nicknames are everything. This is just an amazing Clois episode.

Stiletto 8x19

"You weren't going to eat this, were you?"

I just love that whole interaction. Lois gets kinda shy after she says this, and Clark’s all heart eyes when he looks at her.

Rabid 9x03

"We make a pretty good team."

"Yeah, we do."

Crossfire 9x06

"Don't you dare reassure me right now!"

This whole opening sequence is perfect. They have the banter down.

And of course... their first real kiss. Lois won’t shut up, so Clark just decides to silence her with a kiss. I adore that this was in the Daily Planet, just makes it that more perfect.

Pandora 9x09

"Lois and Clark. Clark and Lois. As a couple."

Clark being the one to push Lois about the status of their relationship is something I love to see.

Salvation 9x21

Clark kisses Lois as the Blur and Lois realises that it’s Clark.

Homecoming 10x04

“I love you.”

“I love you, too.”

Pretty much the entire episode, really. But my favourite is the final scene where they dance and exchange their first, "I love you." Clark, again, being the one to move their relationship forward because he’s so confident in his feelings for her is wonderful.

Isis 10x05

"If you're ready to take that leap, there's no one else I wanna take that leap with."

Clark tells Lois he's the Blur. Possibly the most epic reveal scene, ever. And I adore that it ends on a moment of pure joy as she literally leaps into his arms.

Harvest 10x06

"I want you to know me completely with no secrets. Because you're the one, you always will be."

Clark and Lois make love for the first time and it’s very romantic. (I can see a pattern emerging here where I list one favourite scene from every season 10 episode…)

Ambush 10x07

"Lois, the bedroom is upstairs."

"But the porch swing… is out there."

Morning after scene. Everything about it, but especially the way he superspeeds to pin her to the door. The whole dynamic of Lois being seductive and like, “C’mere and show me what ya got, Smallville,” and Clark all confident and totally going for it is amazing.

Icarus 10x11

"Lois Lane, will you marry me?"

Phonebooth. Falling white rose petals. Proposal. Perfection.

Finale 10x21

"When I've been lost, you've always been there to bring me back."

"You're my best friend, you're my home."

Their wedding vows. I also love the moment when Clark slips his hand into Lois's and they walk down the aisle together.

"My most vivid memory of all, was the day I met her."

Clark meets Lois at the Daily Planet and it’s love at first sight.

Haywire 1x04

"You deserve to be spoiled. To know beyond any doubt… no matter what's going on or what I'm up against…  this… my time with you… is what gets me through. My first thought of the day and my last thought at night. And I love you."

Their romantic barn date, that unfortunately got interrupted by Sam. I headcanon that Clark came back fairly quickly and that they got to finish their date.

O Mother, Where Art Thou? 1x10

"She's the love of my life."

"He's the world's greatest hero, but he's an even better man."

I like these brief moments when they get to talk to Lara about each other.

A Brief Reminiscence In-Between Cataclysmic Events 1x11

"I can't believe I married Lois Lane."

This whole episode is a string of amazing Clois moments. It’s basically a love letter to their relationship. It's the first episode of the show that I ever watched, and it got me hooked.

It's hard to narrow it down to a single moment, and this is kind of ‘cheating’, but I'm going to go with the: "Lois and Clark fall in love montage."

I love the moment Lois tackles Clark in the elevator with a kiss as soon as the doors close. I love the sweeping romance of them kissing in the clouds. I adore the awe in Clark's voice when tells her that he can’t believe he married her.

The amazing thing about this show is they do a lot with a little. They seem to have a knack at putting together exceedingly effective montages and the music score is also incredibly beautiful.

Through the Valley of Death 1x12

"He is everything to me. He's the love of my life."

I know this is said in a desperate moment, but I love the devotion Lois has to Clark and her unwavering faith in him.

Also, this episode has my favourite Clois kiss from the show so far -- the reunion kiss, which is beautifully shot. The visuals of this show are something else.

I know there is a glaring omission of Man of Steel and Superman Returns moments. I haven't watched those movies in a while. The only Clois moment that really stands out in my memory is the bathtub scene in BvS, and I’m always here for sexy Clois.
