🧸 - Do they have any stuffed animals? If so, are they decorative or do they sleep with them?

He had a stuffed dog he would sleep with as a wriggler, but all but destroyed it in an outburst in his pre-teens. When offered a new one, it "wasn't the same" and he didn't develop an attachment. He's never had or wanted a stuffed animal since.

👪 - What’s their relationship with their parents like?

He doesn't remember his lusus, or if he even had one. For as long as he has been aware he was raised by a series of handlers until he was old enough to be properly conscripted into the Fleet, then been at the whim of his superiors like any other troll. Something to do with his bloodline, or ancestor? All above his clearance level.

Xrumon is fortunately not a mind reader, else he would seriously consider immediately terminating the entire program because of Arty's thoughts.

Lytner is very much about quality time. Whether that is arranged dates and outings, body doubling for work or chores, or even just being in the same room while you each go about your own business. Wandering all corners of Alternia for centuries gets pretty lonely, so she appreciates any and all time she gets to spend with the people she cares about.

🐒 - What’s their favorite animal?

She finds eusocial invertebrates and mammals fascinating! She's never really set aside the time (girl you have plenty of it) to really look into entomology/ ethology, but she loves that somehow so many different species were able to develop these similar complex social structures, and with such differences in brain capacity. How did a bee and a molerat end up at nearly the same idea? No idea! Get this woman an ant farm.

Though if all of that is too broad and doesn't count, she really likes jerboas.

A moment of genuine curiosity hits you, and you spin around on the spot, turning your back on the yellowblood. Well, that's a good thing, but you don't really know what it means, for you or her.

Well, it's probably nothing to dwell on. You don't spend enough time as Vocali that there's a high chance of you running into her again, and you're not about to find and approach anyone out of disguise and invite them to connect the dots.

Your sing-song tone falters for a moment as she calls you out on being undead, turning your head back around to look at her as she finishes up. You thought it was mostly just other undead who would be able to tell. Damn.

Ech, you don't really know if that's information you want getting out. Hopefully, she wasn't kidding about just being an academic and uninvolved in anything that could link back to you if she decided to mention that to anyone else...

You rotate the rest of your body back around, completely the spin, before you give an overdramatic mock bow.

Besides, even if you ate everything that was left, you'd still have to hunt again too soon to match the relentless demand of your hunger. The risk of unmasking here isn't worth it.

You do chuckle at their next comment a bit. If your tail was out - one that looks almost identical to theirs - it would be flicking back and forth in amusement. But it's still wrapped around your waist under your clothes, and you don't feel like fussing with it right now.

"You won't be." You say, overall neutral but slightly assuring. "Like I said, I rarely fight. And you're not the kind of person I'd want to hurt."

Might be an odd thing to say to someone who is clearly a deadly killer with many culls in their past, but it's true. You really don't mind this person, they've been generous to you and you find yourself liking them a little.

"Fancy? Ha. No, I'm just a survivor of odd things." You laugh softly at the idea. Despite who you are - despite what you've done - it would be silly to think of yourself as anyone special.

At the end of the night, you're another medic, that's all.

You re-activate your disguise, so that if someone else does come along, they won't immediately shoot you. That would be annoying.
