I don’t think of this election as a who’s gonna lead for the next few years (if you can call what trump does as leadership - more like gm management).

It’s come down to, “Let’s have a vote on who believes in the economists and scientists know what they’re doing.” and a bunch of people are going to go, “Well, I follow a bunch of FB people who say vaccines are poison, so the MDs and the virologists are all with big pharma.

The republican ads in my area are legit scary as fuck. They run with the line, “We MUST get our economy open! OPN BUSINSS! OPN EVITHING! NOW TODAY! DO IT! BREATH ON A OLD PERSON, YOU KNOW YOU WANNA!”

They’re nuts. Absolutely out of their minds. No plan, no regulations, no regard for the lasting effects of consequences with irresponsible and erratic actions. Just “OPN”. Pack your waiting rooms and lobbies, fill everything beyond capacity, stack people on top of each other indoors for dining.

Do they realize people will fall out of work if they hit a covid crash? Do they bypass that immunity for this virus, if you get that much, only endures 3 - 5 months. That reinfection and relapse are heavy factors, and a 1/3 of those that recover from covid live on as long-haulers; what recovery is manageable, we haven’t calculated yet.

I keep coming back to the spanish flu, because flu pathogens like rhinovirus and variants of flu, do grant immunity for a sequence of 10 months, to a year, to a lifetime. But covid, for whatever reason, is very elusive and can escape T-cells in the immune response, from recognizing it. The Spanish flu stole away 650,000 American people in the span of 2 years, due to 2 years being the time period for an adequate sterilization immunity forming in the general population.

Worst of all, we know that corona virus can affect a person systemically - it can leave survivors with severe neurological impairment, it can destroy external limbs such as fingers, toes, arms, or legs - it can decimate internal organs. Due in part to its affects on red blood cells, and depriving them of hemoglobin essential to oxygen transportation.

And people are out here siding with trump, because they think he’s good for the economy. It’s baffling. How can people believe a science denying, super spreader, is good for the economy. trumps rallies have decimated the health of so many states, because people flocked across state lines to have an erection for him. Some even developed hypothermia. And there are nuts just out here, electing this inept plank of wood, because they themselves are so bad at science and calculus.

People have no idea how bad its going to get.

No, it's not #coronavirus 😷 but bc of his cough(and dad's) it feels like we're wrapped up in all this #clovid19 craziness! They both got sick last Friday and it's been a long 7 days of trying not to get it and also preparing for the pandemic and going about our daily lives. No biggie just a cold🤧 until Wednesday arrived with the 🤢pukes🤮 for 24 hrs! 🤦‍♀️ Although I have gone out and helped a friend paint her house and grocery shopped, I haven't hiked or played outside for far too long and cabin fever is setting in! I'm still not sick if you don't count my stress cold sore. 😣 Let's get real for a second. People are being very selfish with all the TP and water hoarding and now here in Utah, it's a full on apocalypse panic at every grocery store! People are fighting in the aisles!!! Some of us need regular groceries and amounts of TP. Please stop hoarding if you're healthy and not in need! Help the elderly and immunocompromised by offering to shop for them! If you already went bonkers and bought cases of toilet paper, check in with your elderly neighbors and offer them some. We need to take care of each other, help each other out! FYI that is socialism but I digress. Most importantly, if you're sick, stay home! This is forcing those who are immunocompromised to have to shop so don't you be taking your germs out in public if you don't need to! Also stop judging those who are hoarding(I was guilty too), maybe they're shopping for an immunocompromised Family. Stop judging those with masks. Dragon wore a mask at Costco bc of his cough but we got looks like he had Clovid19 which made me nervous so I made him take it off(bad judgment). And don't be racist, we're all susceptible to the virus, don't blame Chinese people you see at the store or in the streets! Seriously!🙄 And if your kids are stuck at home, let them play outside(less germs outside than inside your own house!), go to a park, go for a hike, go camping! Kids 8 and under actually learn more by FREE PLAYING OUTSIDE! Sure do their school work required but make time for outside Freeplay!
