A style guide of Cher Horowitz from 'Clueless' 1995

Argyle

Starting off simple, we have argyle patterns. These give off a very mature look (she does wear the skirt to her drivers exam) and they remind me of autumn and back to school (in a good way).

she wears this pattern in skirts and sweaters.

I recommend pairing the brown jumper with a black mini skirt and casual loafers. For the skirt look, a button up top and Mary Janes, maybe throw a blazer on top for colder weather.

Headbands

These go perfectly with her 90s prep girl look. She wears them with her hair straight down

Tank Top over t shirt

Unlike the argyle print, I think that these are more of a juvenile look. That's not the say that they're childish, they're actually some of my favourite of her outfits, but they're definitely less mature than she usally dresses. She wears them for casual occasions and for sports.

Matching Sweater sets

We see her wearing these twice when she's at home, so I definitely think that they're one of her go-to lounge looks. Paired with either mom jeans or a pleated mini skirt

Dark Red Plaid

She wears plaid quite a few times throught the movie (we'll get to those looks later) but these red outfits have to be my favourite. She matches the mini skirt with a long collared shirt and a cropped vest, and the dress with a beret, a shirt and a matching jacket

Eyelet

Eyelet doesn't always agree with me (story for another day) but I think that it's so beautiful and summery and definitely a Beverly hills girl look. Cher wears eyelet in two different ways, 1.)shirt and jeans and 2.) a mini dress.

Cher wears multiple different styles of vest throughout the movie. 1 and 3 are more her normal style, but 2 leans into her more innocent fashion and 4 is definitely a mature look.

In the opening montage, we get to see this adorable bikini. This is the only piece of swimwear that we see Cher in, but these are just some random ones I think she'd like

90s girly girl meets vampire

This look is a lot darker than what Cher usually goes for. It definitely stands out the most when you look at it beside her other outfits

the outfit Cher wears while on a date with her perfect Prince charming (too bad she doesn't learn about the gay thing until after) really cements her status as the Queen bee of Beverly Hills.

By far her most recognisable look in the entire movie. She wears two of these, both in yellow.

Cher has beautiful mid length blonde hair. She usually wears it down, pushed back with a headband or tied up with a scrunchie

How to achieve: we see her use roller sets, but my best bet is that she frequently got her hair blown out at the salon. Blowdryer brushes can also give off the same soft and silky look

Nails

Her nails are always freshly manicured, and she has a preference for French tip.
