Hey so I looked back on the code lyoko rpg maker game I was making years ago and it's actually pretty good and I think I'll start chipping away at it again.

It recently occured to me that I should post up the references I have for my A World Without Danger story. All of these are old, and I will probably redo them in the future, but for now, this is what all the characters look like, both main characters, plus a couple of characters that haven't made an appearance until now.

Before the year ends I managed to finish my main show binge (evolution when I catch you) so hii code lyoko season 4 rewatch thoughts

The animation got genuinely really good this season when it comes to Lyoko, and while the new outfits aren’t as original for some characters, most of the time they do work and I’m rocking with them

I’m not sure on the general consensus of this season, but I definitely enjoyed it, and while some episodes felt dragged out I was having fun pretty much all the way through, my biggest issue probably being the few ending episodes, when things started feeling really, really rushed and so many things were left unanswered (pspspsps this could be fixed by a reboot writers and producers pls)

Overall tho like I said I enjoyed this season, huge part of it coming down to how season 3 left things off, but also I really like the ideas of Lyoko replicas and different supercomputers around the world, I think it’s also really creative to put the characters into the real world as their avatars, it’s fun!

While some of the XANA attacks felt a bit redundant this season, they were boosted by things like the missile airplane or locking Aelita in a fake memory bubble. I’m also personally a huge fan of letting the team fight human-like characters, so Xanafied William was great to me

Overall while I have a few more criticisms of season four than of the others, it’s still solid and I loved it, with favorite episodes this time around being William Returns, The Lake and Distant Memory

So, as I recently finished re-watching Code Lyoko, as well as my reblog chain on that (check it out), I was contemplating rewatching the live-action follow-up: Code Lyoko Evolution. It's only been released in French, but as with the original series, it's available officially on Youtube, this time including English subtitles.

I thought I'd wait longer before starting this but I needed something to watch over dinner, so I guess here we go: Code Lyoko Evolution watch-along reblog chain
