Olá pessoal! Mais um post da sessão "Conta Pra Nós"! Hoje vamos falar menos e deixar nosso convidado, membro do grupo, se expressar. Sarsey, conta pra nós!

"Oilá, me chamam de Will. Mas sempre uso o nick Sarsey. Porquê? Porquê é engraçado rsrs.

Tenho 19 anos e uma curiosidade quase infindável. Moro na zona rural desde sempre, então só fui ter acesso a um computador e internet quando estava na antiga 6ª série. Usava ela para fazer trabalhos da escola e tentar aprender a "hackear" pois queria entender como o mundo funcionava. Mesmo assim ainda estava preso dentro de uma "bolha", pois só conhecia o Windows como OS e sem internet não dava pra fazer muita coisa... Nunca tive wi-fi e somente nos últimos 3 anos que passou a ter sinal de telefonia móvel na região, e mesmo assim não tem sinal aqui em casa. Mas eu improvisei uma antena com um copo, então dá pra usar +/- ^_^

Comprei um tablet de segunda mão quando me formei no ensino médio (nessa época que colocaram a torre de sinal na região).Como tinha muito tempo livre, comecei a aprender sobre hacking, pois achava incrível o que se pode fazer com um computador. Aprendia usando meu tablet HP de segunda mão todo quebrado. rsrs

Todos os sites diziam a mesma coisa: "aprenda a programar!" E foi o que eu fiz. Assim foi meu primeiro contato com a programação. Apesar de ter feito um curso básico de Visual Basic que ganhei na época q estudava, não entendi pataticas de nada. Foi difícil, principalmente no início, pois não tinha internet, nem PC, somente um tablet e um celular xing-ling todo bugado que usava como roteador. Mas consegui! :)

Derw release brand new 'Ble Cei Di Ddod I Lawr' single on Ceg Records 

Derw started as a project between songwriter Dafydd Dabson and his mum Anna Georgina, a lyricist, after they got to the final of S4C songwriting competition Can i Gymru in 2018 and decided to keep writing together. The band is fronted by Welsh/Iranian singer Elin Fouladi and their debut EP 'Yr Unig Rhai Sy'n Cofio' involves musicians from Welsh acts Zervas and Pepper, Afrocluster and Codewalkers. Drawing on chamber pop influences like The National and Elbow, the band has a strong connection with the past and their family history and is named after Anna's father - Derwas. Their family is full of interesting stories and 'Yr Unig Rhai Sy'n Cofio' (The Only Ones Who Remember) is about making sure these stories are recorded and remembered. The track 'Mikhail' is about a friend Derwas met while studying in Jerusalem in 1926. Mikhail grew up in Russia and his father was part of the imperial navy. One night in 1917, when Mikhail was nine and his mother was away, the Bolsheviks came to his house, took his father into another room and shot him. Mikhail then moved to Palestine with his mother and, when he was 19, met Derwas, a student from Oxford. They then spent years exploring the wilderness together and trying to find peace. The lyrics for 'Silver', the final track of the EP, are taken from a poem written by Anna's mother in the 1930s. She loved writing and had notebooks full of poetry she'd written. She tried several times to get them published but never managed it so it gives Anna and Dafydd a huge amount of pleasure to be able to make use of one of them now. Derw’s first single, ‘Dau Gam’, came out in May on CEG Records. It was made ‘Track of the Week’ on BBC Radio Cymru as well as getting airplay on BBC Radio Wales. WELSH MUSIC TAKES OFF WITH LAUNCHPAD!

A total of 34 talented artists and bands from across Wales have been successful in their bid for a music bursary worth a total of £35,000.

The Launchpad fund, part of the BBC Wales and Arts Council of Wales’ Horizons scheme to develop new contemporary music in Wales received over 175 applications from across Wales.

Since its inception in 2014, Horizons and the Launchpad fund has been granted to over 135 artists, from over 50 towns, across 20 counties in Wales.

This year, the 34 successful artists applied for the funding to help support a range of ideas, from hiring rehearsal space to working with talented producers and recording professionally.

From the diverse mix of applications, many will be supported in their creative work with the fund enabling them to utilise studio time, specially commissioned photography and artwork, promotion of releases, equipment, video production and touring costs.

"Olá, tudo bem? Meu nome é Leonardo Santos. Atualmente tenho 17 anos e sou um garoto apaixonado por tecnologias. desde meus 11 anos de idade já tinha uma visão para o futuro. Como a maioria dos jovens, eu era apaixonado por jogos, só que diferentemente dos outros eu não queria ficar só jogando, eu queria mais. Muito curioso, comecei a imaginar como os aplicativos de mobile funcionavam, até mesmo como funcionavam os jogos que eu mesmo jogava.

Até então eu não tinha noção alguma de linguagens de programação. Para mim isso era algo inexistente. Passei horas e horas pesquisando conteúdos pela internet, até que ai esbarrei com os famosos nomes C++, C#, JavaScript, entre outras. Só que tinha um problema: na época eu não tinha um PC e não tinha condições alguma de adquirir um para estar tentando aprender as linhas de códigos necessárias para tal linguagem. Então parti para uma linguagem mais simples e que daria de programar por um aparelho mobile, então conheci o HTML ("HyperText Markup Language", traduzindo: Linguagem de Marcação Para Hipertextos), linguagem interpretada pelos diversos navegadores que utilizamos no dia a dia, resumindo linguagem utilizada para criar sites.
