Imagine Gertrude comes into the archives and finds a bunch of paperwork filled out in yellow highlighter and folded into impossible shapes, and then Michael-Distortion just walks into the room door-style and sits down at his work computer so it can email Gertrude a phishing scam.

the locked tomb - homestuck relationship is not something I actively think about since it has very little bearing on the actual story. however, while writing some dialogue today I had the thought, ‘hmm I need to make her worse. more like ianthe.’

which my brain helpfully translated to ‘yes. just like vriska.’

so I think I need to take a break from writing for a while

Sometimes I think I’m aro but for family dynamic. I see an interaction and nod and go “they are nemesis/mentor-mentee/best friends/co-conspirators in crime/desiring each other carnally” and nod my head about how good I am at understanding people and then I log on here and find the dominant interpretation is not that they’re evil advisors locked in a proxy war at ALL. I might be watching secret evil streams from a parallel universe where families have been banned, actually, and everyone else is watching a different scene I think.

thinking about labru taking the metro. kabru likes it (and is a huge public transit advocate) while laios tolerates it, but gets easily overwhelmed with how hot and cramped and smelly it can get. kabru scopes out a seat for him and is happy to apply elbows in order to get them there. kabru forgoes a seat and stands with his front to laios both to serve as a physical buffer and help take laios' mind off of things

there's no way i'm the first person to make this observation, but here goes anyway:

for all we joke about how unnaturally unlucky lynne is over the course of the game, dying over and over again...

those deaths, that streak of bad luck, happen to coincide with her (unknowingly) killing, and then repeatedly crossing paths with the ghost of, a black cat.

not that either she or even the cat in question know it, of course. which makes the times when sissel says stuff like "it seems like bad luck has it in for that redhead" and "why is it that every time i find you, somebody's dead" (not an exact quote) all the funnier.
