Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum is an insanely cool collection of vintage and antique animatronics, pinball machines, arcade cabinets, penny-arcades, nickelodeons, and a million other creepy-cool-crazy old coin-op contraptions from yesteryear. It's a one-of-a-kind exhibit and I love that it's right here in Michigan. If that sounds cool to you, please consider signing the petition linked above. Here are a couple local news stories that sum up this delightful slice of mechanized whimsy and automated buffoonery:

(went bowling today wow my thumb is still sore I can never find the right ball)
Imagine going bowling with your f/o. Would they try and have fun while playing? Or would they take it more seriously, keeping an eye on their score.
Imagine them cheering you on! Whether you're good or bad at playing, whether the ball gets you a strike or it goes right in the gutter, they'll tell you how great you're doing, they might even be your own little coach, helping you play better and better.
Imagine getting some bowling alley food. Sharing a pizza, or maybe a basket of fries, mozzarella sticks.
Played all your games? Does that alley have a little arcade? Imagine playing some of those with your f/o. Maybe trying your hand at those claw machines, trying to win a little plush for your f/o. Hopefully you walk out without spending all your money, oh well, at least you had a fun few hours with your love.
