These are on wood and WIP's so need some touch ups, I have 8 more sketched out so I might post some pictures when I finish those (Click on image for better quality)

the problem for me when I'm watching horror media where there's like... strange monsters or scary creatures, mutated or hellish or anything else. the first thing I think when they come on screen is a simple question. how'd that taste. if I kill it - can I cook it and eat it, just to try. what sort of meat is that. would it work in a stew

I went on a walk in the woods the other day and it was so pretty and there were so many cool mushrooms abjsdjsjsjebbwjdbdje

I took photos of lods of them so I could look up what they are (don't worry I didn't eat any of them lol) but i reached the photo limit.

I'm recovering from some medical treatment right now and I'm the worst patient at stopping and resting. So this is as much as note to self, to slow down and look at the lichens 😊

i was so excited to discover this log of Dictydiaethalium plumbeum yesterday!! i’d only seen pictures of this strange slime before but i wasn’t sure whether it was present in Aotearoa because it has no previous iNaturalist observations here. Upon further investigation i learned it was first observed here in 1915, and has only three other confirmed observations in the country since then !! I tried my best to capture the perfect bubblegum pink of the immature slime but its very reflective… oh and shoutout to its little purple springtail friend :-)
