On average, what is the total MONTHLY amount that you spend on dining out*?

*(This doesn't only count going out to restaurants, but also stuff like picking up fast food to bring home, getting a coffee on the way to work, getting a premade sandwich from a grocery store deli during lunch, buying a quick snack from a convenience store or food cart whilst walking somewhere, ordering a pizza or any other food to be delivered to your home, etc.)

*(If you often dine out in groups/as a household: calculate and divide the costs so that you get a Per Person average. This is for YOU individually, NOT the total household/group costs)

(I'm sure polls similar to this have been made before (very common topic), I just haven't personally seen one that I can remember, so, I was curious to do my own! I was discussing this with a group of people today and it was very interesting to see how widely the number varied between individuals. :0c )

Maybe the rare month is a bit over $25 if there's something specific going on like birthday.#Which I'm NEVER eating in an actual restaurant (erm... covid... plus I just hate restaurant environments. i would rather pickup #the food and bring it home to a peaceful quiet environment that I control lol). But more typically like stopping by a grocery store deli #section or something. I don't have coffee that much. And I can't eat fast food much due to my health issues/diet restriction stuff #so if I'm out like coming back from an appointment and I start feeling really sick and weak. I know that a hamburger will just #blow up my system and cause nausea or something. So I try to pick the breadiest most #neutral looking turkey sandwich at the safeway deli to eat during the hour ride home or whatever lol #I actually kind of wish I could do stuff like get food more often vecause it would take the burden of cooking everything off of me #but.. alas... Money... and Health Things... T o T #I still wouldn't do it ALL the time but like... once a week instead of once a month or something.. or maybe turning into a coffee #person.. I do love drinks A LOT .. i am a drink person who will have 5 different drinks sipping on at all times #But i just have to make them all myself mostly lol #And I cant really have too much coffee since it will make me sick. so like.. teas and juice mostly #When I inevitably become a millionaire by never using social media never networking and only finishing one #sculpture every 5 months which I dont even post about or sell - then I shall... get more drinks..#I will somehow wean my body onto coffee and drink one a day solely for the ritual of it #Though even then... I would still probably just like.. buy the mateirals to make it at home or something #Like if you had a million dollars you could just buy a kitchen grade ice cream machine and other stuff to make your own milkshakes and #coffees and smoothies and bubble teas. Genuinely I think even if I were a BILLIONAIRE I would still look at playing likr $8 for a single #coffee and go .. uh.... I could just buy the equipment to make this and then save that money. PLUS. its in my house now so no need to #have to leave. I can make my own drinks in the comfort of home. .. ideal..#Like no matter how rich I ever got I would still have the lingering scroogey stinginess. like i am NOT paying for that. I will jus #make it myself. Especially if it was an Everyday thing. Anythign thats part of my routine I try to optimize and make as efficient as #possible... ANYWAY.. my brother just told me my book would probably be popular on tiktok and. ngl i almost strangled him lmao

#yes i'm a pretentious asshole AND a picky reader #and yes of course i'd be incredibly happy if my book became popular or just got published at all. tiktok or not #but. ahehhddh idk should i take it as an insult?#what my brother meant was that it has the potential to sell well (especially among a younger female audience)#but i have a bad relationship with booktok in general. everytime i tried to read a hyped on tiktok novel #it went from kinda mid to downright bad #tbc my book is not ya. i didn't even write it as ya at all. at least not consciously (the protagonists *are* young adults)#and it's a historical romance but... it goes into very sensitive problematic territory #and i'm not comfortable with the idea of publishing it. like at all #if any of my followers is curious about my writing tho don't worry because i'm also writing a batb retelling #and i have another idea for a gothic ghost story going through my head #first i have to actually finish them (... or *start* writing them in the first place lol)#val speaks #writing life #txt

#nezha reborn #LOOK AT HIM he is literally just... a kid...... looking for some comfort from his dad............#it's about to be 0 days since our last nonsensical overly emotional post about li yunxiang #it was never that lyx didn't care about what his father thought or didn't want for his approval because he does want it. he does care.#it was just something he accepted he wouldn't have as long as he continue to choose to do what he thought was the right thing #and the 'right thing' was important enough to him to give up on his dad's support #which says something about how important the 'right thing' is to lyx #and up till now it was fine because it affected no one but him #(and if you think about it it is kind of a very immature and idealistic mindset #because if he had gotten caught doing his little smuggling and property destruction it 100% would have affected his family #but i like that i think it's part of his character.. anyway....)#but now his refusal to do what his dad wanted him to do - get a normal job and keep his head down - is like. actively hurting his family #and altho it was the right thing and he couldn't have predicted that ao bing would go completely nuclear #or that the de group would send assassins after him because of the whole reincarnation business #you could say that kasha and li jinxiang's injuries are a direct result of him refusing to just roll over and sell ao bing his motorcycle #(which i think is exactly what ljx was gonna say before he got bodied by that monster truck lol)#and in this moment when he has effectively just put 2 of the people closest to him in the hospital #i think he can't help but look for a little comfort from his dad because he feels so so guilty and confused and upset #but he gets that door shut in his face and he's reminded that he had chosen to not have that #that he had made choices that led to this being the reality of his relationship with his dad. and he is supposed to be ok with that #and then he falls back on his anger and the moment is sort of over but like #bro... at this point li yunxiang has no one bro....#L + ratio + kasha and brother in the hospital + dad can't even look at you + dead mom + separated from extended family when you fled the wa #+ no close friends your own age #and it makes me sad because lyx must have been pretty close to his dad when he was little #i think this + the moment where he's outside the door listening to his dad talk #just fuels the miasma of guilt #guilt over his own actions. guilt over nezha's actions. questioning if he is or ever was making the right choices #but also it's not about any of that it's just about how huge and wet his eyes look here amen

The image included is an example of my personality vials, including straw flower that I pick myself, and straw flower fluff! With this one plant, I can make *so many of these.* But guess what? That’s not all I have available as micro trinkets! I also have available to me:

All of this is sourced fairly, safely, and without harm to any animals! All the things I find are already in their condition, I just clean them up!

They vary but base prices are $15 for a large and $10 for a small

The base vials include one of what you’d like.

im trying i swear im trying SO hard not to be bitchy about legends and lattes getting finalized for the hugo but . okay the hugo is a prize for science fiction/speculative fiction/fantasy fiction. and words mean things and essentially this is putting a very plot-lite romance novel with a fantasy setting up against political spec fic and like, books being entered in a contest that the left hand of darkness once won. which isn't to say that the contest itself is like, sacred ground - starship troopers, 1960 - basically heinlen's treatise on why the military is necessary to whip the youths into shape - like, it's a seventy-year-old science fiction prize, there's gonna be a lot of unlikeable books on there, actually. and its not to say that lighter books or books riding a wave of hype haven't won it before (harry potter won it in 2001)...it's just. it's a weird collection this year, is all, and the contest has skewed wider in its interpretation of spec fic in the past ten-twenty years, which i'm not upset about! words mean things but im also a huge proponent of thee two-time hugo winner UKLG's thoughts on genre. genre is as mutable as the clouds. we call things 'spec fic' often because they're difficult to categorize. but, and i'm saying this huge long preface because i genuinely don't want to seem like a wet blanket, but it's just...it's the wrong contest for the book. there's been a lot of good sff this year. but that's a romance novel. and also its not hugo levels of good

#like if you liked it. enjoy! do not read the rest of my tags lol #opinions below do not eat #.............................#okay i think this should be enough tags to hide the rest under the readmore but just in case ..........#...................#ok .#but it's entirely plotless and . just my onion. plotless does not equal cozy . and visa versa #cozy books can have very intricate and exciting plots! dozens upon thousands of lite mysteries prove this #plotless books can be as far from cozy as possible - my year of rest and relaxation has next to no driving force and #leaves the reader with a memorable discomforting taste in the mouth #but this book relies entirely on what Types its characters are to sell itself. they are gay and quirky fantasy creatures.#and books with gay and quirky fantasy creatures can also be very good!!! i have read these also!!!!#but this book's gay and quirky fantasy creatures dont even DO anything or have lasting interiority . in my onion #like it just needs MORE to be a hugo novel. it needs depth it needs something more than fleeting comfort and reader-relatability

Bad news, got back from the vet and my beautiful baby son is going to have to be put down soon, probably tomorrow or the next day, so send him best of wishes for his next few days~ Luckily, he's actually not in a lot of pain (for now, hopefully he won't be) and is acting pretty normal, so I'm hoping he won't suffer at all and everything will be peaceful for him.

I've heard that like on paypal and ebay and stuff people can still get your real name #and some information from their payment receipts or whatever sutff like that. thats part of why I've held off on selling clothes and sculpt #res for so long is trying to find a way to do it that's the most safe. aside from literall yhaving to start an llc and open a business bank #account and run everything on an entirely sepreate thing just so it has no association with my name and etc.#and obviouskly I don't feel like figuring out all of that stuff right now lol #I am busy just trying to make my beautiful meatloaf son comfortable and spend some time with him whilst I can #It's sad. but I'm glad the issues were caught before he was in terrible pain or anything. So suprisingly it was actually a pretty easy #decision. I would rather him go out while he's feeling okay and relatively content then wait until he's in severe #pain or extremely lethargic or etc. So it seems all very sudden but . It's better that way for him.#anyway #of COURSE this has to happen during a heat wave also.. hhrgghhh...#more fuel for my vendetta against summer lol.. Not that it's the season's fault but. something bad happening in the winter #vs. seomthing bad happening in the summer which just adds an extra layer of 'oh yeah on top of everything else #you're going to be sweating and nauseous and chronically uncomfortable!' is like.. >:T #Also for him. part of the issue is lung cancer which has spread and caused a bunch of fluid to build up in his stomach (which is what I #noticed. even though he's acting perfectly fine and normal his stomach was weird and bloated suddenly)#but if part of the problem is his lungs (which look absolutely crazy on xray) then him breathing in hot shitty thick air is definitely #not as comfortable as if he were able to be nice and cool and snuggled in some blankets. etc. etc.#ANYWAY ghhb... send him much luck and positivity!! Really hoping he can make it through the next day or so without #taking a turn for the worst. So hopeing for a peaceful quiet exit and not like tramatic sudden things. etc. etc.#cross your fingers pray to your gods whisper to the night sky so on and so forth. whatever you do that's meaningful to you.

When I was little my mother always used to drag me to this one store for clothes shopping, and I hated everything there because it was one of Those stores. One of the shop assistants who worked there was a gay man, and whenever we went there he always came over to attend (?) us and try to make my mother listen to me so that I could get the least girly stuff possible...... And idk, ever since I got the resolve to cut my hair however I actually want, whenever I do I always think about him :')

#for a show that was 90% bare flesh there was a lot of eye strain #there was one lady on the pole who nearly gave me a heart attack #listen my last shift had someone slice their face open so.#I did walk out thinking ‘hm maybe I SHOULD get back into drag’#I admit the only times I’ve been on a pole myself I was clinging for dear sweet life #‘just keep your core tight and let go!’ ‘mmmmmmNO’#I jumped and had to cover my eyes when she did a split drop #when the fire sticks came out I was just on the edge of my seat with terror #ended up having to open the doors early anyways bc there’s no ventilation and the smoke filled the theatre so fast people were coughing #very very badly. yet the alarms didn’t off?? comforting! :’)#bless some of the performers tho it’s such a health and safety nightmare and I’m also trying to stop people taking pics and running around #picking up glasses and bottles and trash. some of them were quite sweet and I was clearly spread too thin #the fire really did just put me on edge omg. I smell like fuel and I wasn’t even close to the stage lol #at intermission one of them (trying to sell me his tassels) said ‘well I hope you enjoy the 2nd act better!’#I enjoyed act 1 fine. fear + arrousal don’t often mix in my life. it’s just the accidents form I was worried about not the 15 bare bums #did stop for chips waiting for the bus. to clear out the smoke in my lungs lol
