This was so hard & I honestly couldn't choose, so here we are!

Runner up is Stella confessing her love, fears & apprehensions on marriage with Kelly @ the end of 10x19. "...Thinking of a life without you felt like no life at all & I never want to feel that way again..." The entire speech was beautifully written & delivered. I feel like Kelly catches flack for not using his words, but Stella doesn't always express herself either, so this was huge for her as well.

The winner definitely goes to 10x22 & their wedding vows! I wish I was joking when I said I have their vows memorized! 🙃 I will never forget watching it the first time and literally balling my eyes out!

But it was a welcome sight. Top's childhood trauma is just like chef's kiss. You can see it come out in a few ways and it's beautiful and painful to watch.

According to Boston, he's never dated anyone for more than 3 months. After needing to flee safety, of course staying anywhere too long is hard. Fear of abandonment is at the core of a lot of fear of commitment.

When Mew stops him in the first scene, he asks 'What did I do wrong?' and not something like 'Why?' He blames himself even if there's no evidence that he's done wrong.

In the shower scene with Boston, you can see his visible discomfort at being cornered. It isn't significant on his own, but Top has a habit of crowding other people's personal space. Maybe part of the reason he does is so that he himself isn't trapped.

It's so early on in the show that it's difficult to say anything definitive about any of the characters, of course. But there are a lot of really nuanced hints at the different ways the characters have dealt with their fear of abandonment that make me look forward to where the show is going to take us.

Thank you🖤 I used to write multi-chapter fics for another fandom, but people would ask for a part 2, and then none of those people even ended up reading them anyway🫠 So I was kinda like “this isn’t worth my time.” I might go for it again one day!
