Data Science Careers: Your Path to Success in India
Tumblr media
Data is the new oil in the rapidly changing landscape of digital opportunities today. From retail to health, there is a huge swarm of data with which companies want to analyze and form decisions, get insight into probable trends, operationalize, and strategize. This dependence on data has generated an immense demand for people who can interpret the raw data into insightful information — the Data scientists. Data science professionals are thus vital in an environment of fast-paced technology growth and are thus very much sought after if you are willing to work in a lucrative, intellectually stimulating, and impactful profession. Herein lies a huge opportunity for data science conversion in India.
Why Data Science is Booming in India
With the ongoing transformation of India's tech industry, growth is being driven by digital initiatives and newer technologies. This should create opportunities for the data scientist. Here lies a few reasons to opt for a career in data science:
High Demand and Less Supply:The demand for data scientists will probably never be fulfilled. This gap has led to high remuneration with a plethora of opportunities spread across industries.
Varied Industry Applications: All industries require data scientists. One can work from finance (fraud detection, risk assessment) to retail (customer behavior analysis, personalized recommendations), from healthcare (disease prediction, drug discovery) to manufacturing (predictive maintenance). Hence, your skills will be highly transferable.
Impactful Work: Data scientists play a crucial role in solving real-world problems. Your work can lead to significant improvements in efficiency, profitability, and even societal well-being.
Continuous Learning & Growth: The field of data science is constantly evolving. This dynamic nature ensures that your learning journey never stops, keeping your career fresh and exciting.
Essential Skills for Aspiring Data Scientists
From the start, for one to embark on the track of data science with a flourishing future, the following key areas need to be staked in a strong foundation:
Programming Proficiency: Python and R are the languages associated with data science. Python classes in Ahmedabad, for instance, are highly sought after because of Python's widespread use in libraries with data manipulation, analysis, and machine learning functionalities (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras).
Mathematics & Statistics: One should understand linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistical modeling to interpret the data and establish concrete models.
Machine Learning & Deep Learning: With increased knowledge of implementations of numerous algorithms, machine learning modeling from regression, classification to clustering, and frameworks for deep learning, namely Tensorflow and PyTorch, one now stands to make predictive models.
Data Wrangling & Manipulation: Ability to clean, transform, and prepare messy raw data is a fundamental ability that generally occupies much of a data scientist's time.
Data Visualization: The communication of complex insights in a clear and comprehensible fashion allows effective communication through software like Tableau, Power BI, and Matplotlib.
Domain Knowledge: Having an understanding of the industry or business background of the data you are dealing with will help you ask the right questions and get relevant insights.
Your Success Path: Education and Training
A background in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering helps but is not mandatory. Many aspiring data scientists come from varying backgrounds and acquire the necessary skills by undergoing intensive training.
One should join the best data science courses in Ahmedabad with Python to gain some real-time experience. Courses that deal with Data Science with Python, AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Analytics Tools will help you learn the complete set of skills required by the industry. Look into the institutes that promote practical-oriented learning, have great faculty, and provide career support.
Taking part in projects that could be included in a portfolio, contributing to open-source projects, and taking part in hackathons will further enhance your profile and provide evidence of your skills and practical application to prospective employers.
Final Wrap-Up
The demand for data scientists in India shall keep on rising, making it averse to a promising career. Join the correct education, polishing your skills in programming, statistics, learning-making, and data visualization, and you can go to become a successful and rewarding career in data science that will aid India's data-powered future.

How will Tariffs effect the Historical Costume Community?
How will Tariffs effect the Historical Costume Community?
Maybe it was divine inspiration that I chose the summer of 2025 to semi-retire, because textiles are about to increase, ya'll! - so are avocados, strawberries, and fruits and vegetables from Mexico; electronics (from China) - like your cell phones and computers, televisions. But it doesn't stop there: building supplies, car parts, clothing, toys, medical supplies, medications, and much, much more is about to increase!
Why?
Because of Trump's brilliant economic plan to implement tariffs on countries like China, Mexico, and Canada on "Day one," to quote him directly.
Yes, that was sarcasm. For those who haven't been following the dire warnings economists worldwide and in America were shouting to the rooftops, i.e., that tariffs will cause economic disaster for many companies in the USA, and you still think the cost of gas and eggs and groceries are going to decrease in the Trump administration, boy oh boy are ya'll gonna have a huge awakening come January 20, 2025.
The way tariffs work is like this: American companies, who purchase goods outside of America, "are the ones who pay the tariffs" - NOT the companies sending goods to America for American consumers to buy. American companies will be paying MORE to import goods from other companies, and that increase will be passed on to the American people. These large corporations, who have already been recording record breaking profits since 2020, will use Trump’s tariffs as an excuse to raise their prices even more! – because there are no regulations on what they can charge the public. ALSO, they will be receiving more tax cuts, while the rest of us, especially the middle class who already carry the burden of the majority of the taxes in the USA, will see an increase in our taxes. These tariffs will cost us an additional $2500 a year per household. That doesn't sound like much, but it adds up, especially for many who are already barely scraping by - myself included.
How will these tariffs impact the historical costume community specifically?
While Mexico, China and Canada are our top exports (places we buy from), the following countries are ALSO popular sources that USA consumers import textiles and clothing:
Vietnam
India
Bangladesh
Indonesia
Honduras
The majority of fine woolen textiles are exported from the UK. The cost of wool will also be affected, with costs going up from 10 to 20%. Maybe that doesn’t sound like much, but when you’re already paying $30 to $40 (and more) a yard for a good wool product an additional $3 to $6 per yard will carry a punch on my client’s budgets.
Companies like Silk Baron, who import silk fabrics in bulk from places like India, will have to increase their prices by a minimum of 20%. The price of silk is already $20 to $30 or more a yard through Silk Baron, and we can expect their prices to increase to $22 to $24, or $33 to $36 a yard.
Fabric-Store.com, used to only charge $12 a yard for linen, but beginning in 2020 they have raised their prices every year and are now charging $18 a yard. The impacts of tariffs will only increase these costs.
Trump’s tariffs on China will raise prices by 60%, and 10 to 20% to other countries who import goods to the USA. Tariffs impact consumers, NOT the companies who produce the products and ship them to American businesses.
Walmart and Lowes have already rung a warning nell that their prices are about to increase. According to an article by Reuters, a Walmart spokesperson stated, “We're concerned that significantly increased tariffs could lead to increased costs for our customers at a time when they are still feeling the remnants of inflation"…"Trump has vowed to make tariffs, which are a fraction of U.S. tax collections, central to his economic agenda. Executives have been increasingly fielding questions on the subject, with many noting ongoing efforts to continue to diversify their supply chains, particularly away from China, Trump's top target.”
Additionally, the CFO of Lowe’s, Brandon Silk, said: "Roughly 40% of our cost of goods sold are sourced outside of the U.S., and that includes both direct imports and national brands through our vendor partners"…"And as we look at the potential impacts (of tariffs), it certainly would add to product costs." These tariffs will impact the cost of appliances and building supplies, which means the cost of new construction will increase.
Grocery stores, who were already price gouging consumers since the pandemic, are beginning to raise their prices. By the way, the President of the United States (or the Vice President) does not control the prices that big corporations charge consumers, it’s greed on the part of these companies like Albertson’s, Fred Meyer, etc., who set the prices. Harris planned to institute regulations to control their greed and lower the cost of groceries, etc., but Trump’s “tariffs,’ WILL absolutely affect American consumers.
Furthermore, voters, pissed off about Biden’s handling of Hamas, voted for Trump in protest. By the way, Trump and his entire administration are 100% pro-Israel, and support the atrocities Netanyahu has perpetrated against innocent civilians who have nothing to do with the terrorists of Hamas.
Voting is the equivalent to an open book examination in college or high school. All the information needed to educate yourselves on the issues are available at your fingertips, but you have to open the damn book! Voters, angry about Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people, chose not to educate themselves about what control or influence on world politics a Vice President actually HAS. Harris was not pro-Israel, but publicly stated she was against Palestinian and Israeli aggression.
When textile and supply prices go up, those increases affect the cost for costumers. The tariffs that will be implemented will increase costs by 60% from any goods purchased from China. For my business, this will impact such items as “freshwater pearls,” that I use on my costume embellishment. China is the world’s largest exporter of pearls, which are “grown” or farmed in that country.
Coates embroidery thread, which I use in my embroidery machines, are based in Mexico. With Trump’s tariffs the cost will go up 20%. A spool of Coates gold metallic thread is $12.99 at JoAnns. That will increase by roughly $2.60 per spool.
Faux Baleen from Germany, used in corsetry, will go up anywhere from 10 to 20%.
American Duchess, who contracts with shoemakers in China to produce their historical shoes will have to raise their prices by 60%!!
Buttons, thread, fabric, notions, everything you can imagine used in the creation of historical costumes are imported from China. Tariffs will have a noticeable impact on the entire historical costume community, which is already an expensive hobby.
At a time when American’s are paying more for goods and groceries than other countries, not only will tariffs impact the economy, but Trump and the Republicans as outlined in Project 2025, plan to cut Social Security by no less than 20%, but they also are planning to do away with it entirely, to include social security disability, which millions of disabled and retired Americans depend on to exist.
In a word, and I don’t give a flying fig that I’m bringing politics into historical costuming, you voted for more inflation and higher cost of goods. It would behoove all ya’ll among the younger generations to use Google and research how the stock market crash of 1929 happened, and how tariffs played a significant role in exacerbating the Great Depression.
The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act, passed in June 1930, was a key factor. This act raised tariffs on thousands of imported goods in an attempt to protect American industries and farmers, which had unintended consequences such as:
Retaliation by Other Countries: Many countries responded by imposing their own tariffs on American goods, which led to a significant decline in international trade.
Reduction in Exports and Imports: American exports and imports fell by about 67% during the Great Depression. This decline in trade worsened the economic downturn.
Global Economic Impact: The tariffs contributed to a global economic slowdown, making it harder for the U.S. and other countries to recover from the depression.
These consequences ended in joblessness, as companies closed down. Read about the how the banks went under, people lost their jobs, resulting in widespread foreclosures, and the rise in shanty towns to house millions of homeless who were once productive members among the middle class.
Is this hyperbole? No! If you do not educate yourselves, history will repeat itself. Trump’s tariffs will impact Americans on a catastrophic level, as well as impact the global economy.
So, next time, maybe study for the “open book test” rather than sourcing your information from word of mouth like, you know, Fox News.
Hang on to your butts, it’s gonna get rough for all of us.
P.S: If you voted for him, and your fee-fees are hurt by this article, don't you dare say one hateful thing in my blog or my Facebook page or you will be blocked.

How to write Pavitr Prabhakar - Personality Analysis
This took me a while to write, but here it is! I'll link it on the original post where the anon asked for it!
Just so you guys know, these are mainly headcanons, but I tried to research them as thoroughly as possible and I based them off my own experiences as an Indian and someone who's visited various parts of South India many times.
He's a genius
Pavitr Prabhakar is canonically a genius in robotics
Be builds drones and communication devices in the comics
Because Mumbattan is very futuristic, this would also apply to the movies
BECAUSE he's a genius, he would be more EMOTIONALLY SENSITIVE
People with high-IQs tend to be more sensitive
because they process data more quickly, they can also "sense" more overall
We see him being very excited and happy in the movie - he's very optimistic
However, we can assume that he can also snap
And when he does snap, instead of being emotional, he would be completely silent
which is very uncanny for him, so people can always tell when somethings wrong
he'll get stuck in the confinement of his mind and won't know how to get out
this also happens when he gets stressed
He's cocky
The guy loves himself
He likes the way he looks and he likes his hair
He's probably annoying with how cocky he can be
He's very confident in himself and his abilities
But this DOES NOT mean that he would put others down
He loves everyone
So even if he sounds a little condescending, he's saying it lovingly
don't write him like the perfect little guy - he's not.
he's confident, he's not a timid little baby
he definitely speaks up for himself and others
He's friendly
This one's more obvious
He's definitely very talkative and outgoing - an extrovert
STOP WRITING HIM AS TIMID AND QUIET
He's 100% THE OPPOSITE
He's probably popular
so in the comics he's not popular at all - he gets bullied for his accent and his clothes
however - I don't think this is true for movie Pavitr
first of all - he has a girlfriend so I doubt he gets genuinely bullied
second of all - he doesn't seem shy about raising his hand and being loud in that scene we saw of him in his classroom
third of all - all the Peter parkers got bullied for being nerds
but in India, being smart and a "nerd" is treasured
he wouldn't get bullied over it - he would probably be revered by his classmates
being a class topper is good 👍
He's effortless
Pavitr is effortlessly attractive, effortlessly funny, effortlessly strong, hes effortless!!
he's definitely one of those "cool people" who's just awesome without even trying
he's not shy and he isn't going to be the kind of person who's constantly shaking in their boots
he's courageous, optimistic and EFFORTLESS
the guy does not have to TRY AT ALL
he's perfect without even trying
thats his whole thing
thats going to be his arc as spiderman - realizing he can't be perfect
Have a Pavitr to go

Not a Fairy Tale Kiss Catch-Up 2 (Electric Boogaloo)
Ten Thirteen Chapters & A Ficlet Later
Again - life is life, I have thoughts, and now is when I have time to put them down (as close to as they would have been when I originally read it as I can). @azriona enjoy the novel.
Chapter 48
The continued Rickrolling of Doom is much appreciated, but how exactly does D do it? Does she have a Doombot fly back and blast it? Is it like a computer virus?
Bucky trying to keep D going while not pushing too hard is so sweet but also, dangling meeting Arnie in front of her is a bit cheat-y. XD Not Steve throwing Bucky under the bus asking why D hasn't met Arnie yet and still getting nothing in return. Arnie is giving Bucky and D the "meet the family" treatment/vibes that we sadly wouldn't get otherwise and it is one of the most bittersweet things I've ever read and the fact this man is a hoot-and-a-half to boot is life-giving. Reading the back-and-forth of Bucky and Steve trying to one-up each other on embarrassing stories absolutely made my day. (How did Bucky use a pack of gum to get the chemistry teacher fired?)
Chapter 49
"Arnie accepts you and Bucky being together as such a given, you’re not sure he’s ever seen you in any other light." This almost made me cry! It's so sweet and it just builds on those moments from Ch 48 when Arnie is calling D "Bucky's best girl" and "Bubbeleh" because D has been in Arnie's heart before he even met her because of how Bucky talks about her and it's just the SWEETEST thing ever!! 😭😭😭 AND THEN YOU HIT ME WITH:
"Mostly, you sit back and watch the three of them, laughing and joking and talking about the times they’d shared as kids. Steve’s memory is the sharpest; but for him, those years are barely a decade in the past, what with 70 years spent in the ice.
Whereas Arnie lived a full life, every one of those 101 years tucked away in that head of his, and between cryofreeze and memory wipes, Bucky’s memory will probably always be full of spots and gaps and fuzzy edges."
How could you DO THAT TO MEEEEE?!?!? 😭😭😭😭😭 Are we going to ever find out what Arnie said to Bucky??? (I understand if not, just curious). Bucky and D need to take Arnie to India if he'll let them/his health allows.
"Who’s right in the head, I ask you?" - PREACH ARNIE XD
When I first read this chapter I had the thought that if Arnie dies I was going to have a Liam-Neeson-from-Taken moment, I have since cooled down and will merely be inconsolable.
Chapter 50
As a millennial (albeit a younger one) I feel like playing What’s New Pussycat on repeat as a prank is a VERY millennial prank. Bucky quietly missing D on missions and having Jarvis give an update when he returns is so sweet but I gotta ask, why not just text D when the jet lands to check-in with her directly? That being said, I’m glad she seems to be setting in to fully remote work as well as can be expected.
“Most of the time, the bases are intact, empty shells with nothing but dust bunnies and scorch marks, because someone’s been there first. Most of the files are corrupted, or incomplete, or just plain gone. Once, there’s a weird crackle of energy in the air that gives everyone pause.” I see your ominous foreshadowing and I appreciate it but simultaneously glare at it.
Clint is going to flip when they find out they switched his coffee, but I don’t know how I feel about them adding the Nefidipine to the vitamins without telling D (I’m guessing they didn’t tell her based on her reaction, if they did and I misunderstood lmk.) Maybe it’s double standard, and idk why I feel this way, but them secretly switching her to decaf (seemingly) without telling doesn’t really bother me as much (I mean it’s low-key rude but also, as I understand it, you’re not supposed to have caffeine while pregnant.)
Chapter 51
The idea of Steve or Bucky forcing D to listen to an old radio play sounds amazing. But what would they choose, the only two I remember from history class are War of the Worlds by Orson Wells and Buck Rodgers (both of which I think Bucky could have liked) but if you had something else in mind, I’d love to know what it is.
D says she thinks she’s going to miss being the Woman in the Chair once she’s back in the field after baby, is it possible that after baby she might split time just because she enjoys that role?
Why did you have to take 5+ years off Tony’s life like that? So mean.
Wanda and Pietro being quietly helpful while also being absolute menaces (in a not funny way, unfortunately) works for them and is something I didn’t know I wanted (although I wish it didn’t involve such terrifying visions from Wanda).
Chapter 52
Oof one of those chapters that really hits emotionally.
Bucky checking in without being overbearing was adorable and sweet but almost immediately following that up with Tony being unable to look at D was heartbreaking.
The casualness of Tony’s entrance was already a red flag; the shoe really dropped though when he asked what Wanda showed D in Cleveland. It also makes me wonder what/how exactly he saw her dying. “Nope, the adults are talking right now,” OUCH that one hurt. …and when your parents died, he let you cry all over his shirt and never said a word.” This one hurt worse but it also makes almost too much sense (giving her something I don't think he really had when his parents died). I also think all this together, though, speaks a lot to how much Tony cares about D and how much it hurts him that she, as far as he is concerned, is lying to him.
Your ability to write this scene overall I just have…no words for how amazing it is especially in its coherency/follow-ability. Regularly when I’m reading arguments in fiction (both fan and conventional) I struggle to follow the arguments when more than two people are involved (and sometimes even then) but in this one it is very clear who is saying what and it makes the scene hit that much harder.
RIP Bucky at the end there though, he’s both calmer and more brave than I would be in this kind of situation tbh.
Also are we allowed to know what/where Natasha’s “place” is because while I can 100% believe there’s a place in the tower, she goes to get away she also gives me the vibes of someone who might just go out and be/exist in public (like taking a walk or people watching on a bench).
Chapter 53
Watching Bucky explain Project Springboard to Tony had to be like watching a train-wreck in slow motion for D (it kinda was for me, I was wound tight the whole time) but the aftermath went a bit better than I was anticipating but I also put that down to Bucky assuring Tony that the current situation is in no way his fault.
“You pissed me off, kiddo. And I’m still pissed, and I’ll probably still be pissed for a while. I don’t let shit like that go easy, you know that. But that doesn’t mean I have to be an asshole to you about it.”
He glances at your now-empty desk. “Maybe for the tech, though.”  I’M NOT CRYING YOU’RE CRYING!!!! Having D tell Tony what her Wanda-induced dream was after this was twisting the knife by the way so, thanks for that.
I continue to enjoy seeing the dynamics between Tony, D, and Bucky grow – honestly I think if this revelation had happened at any earlier time in the story Tony would have thrown hands but the fact he listened and kept cool once Barnes took full responsibility – amazing. The fact that D is still nervous the entire time is sad but I understand why and seeing Tony respond to that in a way that explicitly communicated that he was both upset while not taking it out on either D or Bucky – even better (chef’s kiss).
Also setting up the twins as sympathetic characters while keeping them as antagonists by them turning over files in the middle of a battle they then retreat from is excellent.
Chapter 54
I feel so bad for Bucky not being able to feel the baby (yet), I remember that being one of the most exiting parts of my mom being pregnant with my siblings.
A pillow cuddle-blocking Bucky is hilarious, thank you for that mental image.
My heart could have burst during the ultrasound scene Bucky’s so enamored with both D & the baby and it is just the SWEETEST!!!! Why does Bucky want the gender to be a surprise? Is it because it would have been that way “in his day” or are you going to give me another reason that will make me sad?  “I think she has my mom’s nose,” MADAME I AM BAWLING!!!! 😭😭😭😭
All those good appointment feelings dashed by the press, poor D. Bucky offering to be a menace from the sidelines creates another wonderful mental image.  “People used to be afraid of me,”  😂 Angela is a real one though
Chapter 55
The sass in D’s inner monologue was on fire this chapter it was also really nice to get more of her backstory – her being insatiably curious to the point of “taking the entire house apart trying to figure out how it worked.” is equally adorable and terrifying.
I would love to know more one day about the “fascinating people” D met in college (incriminating and Fury said no? color me interested). You, also, keep dropping hints about D causing/being heavily involved in the Latverian Invasion, are we going to get more on that in this final arc?
I can see the interviewer near-salivating when she almost catches D saying she loves Bucky but D catches herself – that woman knows EXACTLY what D was going to say and was just being polite. Also, this being the moment D clues into being in love with Bucky was great because she couldn’t immediately escape it and had to sit with that fact and internalize it for a second (which she needed).
Chapter 56
I would like you to know that I’m imagining something between Padme Amidala’s lakeside dress and her light-blue nightgown for the dress, the way you describe the flowy-ness of the garments gives those vibes. Bucky’s reaction to the dress though? Swoon-worthy. Sam interrupting their moment? Rude.
““Then you’ll just have to get me pregnant again so I can wear them,” you say, exasperated, throwing your hands in the air.” (😲😳) How to short-circuit Bucky in 5 seconds or less. Jarvis offering the Locked Door Protocol was the icing on the cake in this scene.
Chapter 57
“’Sergeant Barnes what are you wearing?’ ‘Clothes’” I almost died laughing at this. 🤣
“I was supposed to be sitting with Mr. Wilson, but I traded to sit here because I wanted the chance to talk to you!” Red Flag, I’d be texting Pepper (or whoever is the coordinator of the event). Also, asking for a sponsorship is the opposite of what is supposed to be going on here lady get it together. Her being condescending to the “Fed is best” concept makes me want to punch this woman omg. “It’s good to have multiple adults the baby can trust - ” Lady this kid is probably going to live (at least at 1st) in Avengers Tower they’re going to be surrounded by trustworthy adults (nothing against the nanny idea but to imply that the Avengers aren’t trustworthy is just obtuse).  OMG SHE DOUBLED DOWN! “checkered history”????  I hate this woman so much. Watching her get ripped a new one by the entire table after that comment was VERY satisfying, made even better by them pretending Bucky was about to come join them on the war path.
What are the odds Tony and/or Pepper (or Hawkeye) have been secretly prepping nursery stuff so D can start on that when she’s ready?
Chapter 58
What I wouldn’t give to see the dance D did with Nat (and everyone’s reactions to it).
XD Clint found out about the caffeine! He’s so betrayed.
How much did Bucky bribe or intimidate the DJ at the afterparty to play the slow song (or was the DJ JARVIS who is The Best)? Their baby conversation is the cutest and thank you for answering my nursery question without me even asking 😂. Also the mental image of Steve and Bucky trying to build a crib together is hilarious because it’s either going to be the easiest thing on the planet for them or it’s going to be like building your average piece of IKEA furniture.
HE FELT THE BABY!!!! Such a sweet and happy moment! 🥰🥰
Aannnd then you kill the vibe. Why did you have to do that. Could you have not have just made the last line in this chapter the first one in the next?? Whyyyyyyyy??????
Arms and the Iron Lady
YASSS THE FICLET I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!
It’s really cool to see this early stage of this relationship and that even in this early stage that Tony cares enough to warn her away from someone he dislikes, while at the same time D knows Tony well enough that she understands his manner of telling her is significant.
Me calculating a 540° turn, okay so that’s a turn and a half, got it. I too would be dizzy with all the things D has going on (legal proceedings on one coast and real-estate on the other? Oof).
It feels like early in their relationship that Tony giving her so much so fast is his way of trying to keep her busy so she won’t fall into despair after the loss of her parents (like I think he did when he lost his (I can’t remember at the moment)). At the same time I’m pretty sure he’s excited to have someone that’s not only intellectually on his level but is also in the same realm(s) of interests. Buying earplugs with the expense account is hilariously funny (and a bit passive aggressive).
Also getting to see her get trained by everyone is interesting (I’d say fun but Sam’s is very much less than fun):
What form of bullet wound treatment did she learn? I'm curious because I had to learn wound packing once upon a time and I hope I never have to use that ever (especially if the person is awake). Never had to do anything with a trach tube though and from what little I’ve heard I’m glad I haven’t.
Thor is not the who I’d expect D to have the driving course with but that mental image is priceless.
The give and take in her relationship with Steve is really nice.
The dichotomy between Clint and Nat’s training strategies (explaining everything mostly up front vs the deep end strategy) is interesting considering how they often balance each other out.
“It comes off?!?” Bucky absolutely heard that, he’s just pretending otherwise.
Bucky is being a show-off and I can’t tell if it’s him trying to size up D’s reaction to him or impress her…maybe both?
“Looking for a challenge, doll?” Yeah he was definitely trying to impress her.
"Natasha snaps something in Russian, and Bucky responds with amusement.." Was she telling him not to flirt? Please tell me she was XD
Her excitement about maybe being able to work on Bucky’s arm just because it’s a cool piece of technology is so sweet and endearing. It's also very funny that her thinking about it that is part of what allows him to sneak up on her.
Another thing to appreciate about how you write their relationship: it grows, we get to see this pretty well in the series but this - the literal start of their relationship where they're merely co-workers and Bucky is trying to help her out as such, ugh I love it. (Love/attraction/infatuation at first sight can be fun but watching a relationship start and grow over time holds a very special place in my heart.)
The next interaction with Tony really makes me appreciate his character growth even more like going from can't stand the near thought near each other to tolerating that they're together is such amazing progress to see. (Granted part of the anger in this scene is explicitly due to the fact he doesn't get to tinker with "the best piece of tech in the entire building" but still.)
TONY WAS ALREADY MAKING HER A SUIT!!! Also, I want that holographic try-it-on tech in real life yesterday it would make life SO NICE! While it is very sweet he made her and Iron Lady suit that's also a really unfortunate way to find out she's claustrophobic (has she always been or is that more backstory trauma?).
Tony trying to comfort D while also being incredibly awkward about it is so sweet but also the more you say about what got D noticed by the Avengers the more I want to know.
“Of course I want to be here. Are you crazy? This is like… a dream come true. But… I can’t go out and save the world, Tony, I couldn’t even save my parents.”
“Neither could I,” Okay, right in the feels, ooowwwww.
Jarvis coming in clutch to help D (and low-key communicate where Tony can't quite yet).
Ugh I love this ficlet soooo much, it is my favorite of them all.
(I was actually in the middle of writing this post when Ch 59 posted so I said fuck it and decided to wait until both 59 & 60 posted to post this and then it didn't even matter because it still took me forever to catch up on my comments.)
Chapter 59
Did you post what body pillow D was given and I missed it because I would love to know what it is that has now frustrated TWO Avengers. Also 2:23 in the AM? That wake up time is evil (I know it's the Avengers alarm, that doesn't make it any better).
"There is a distress beacon coming from Latveria" - SUS!
I agree with D this is a trap.
Steve not realizing Yelena is flirting with him is hilarious.
"Have fun storming the castle." - I understood that reference.
“Cap,” you say, not even the least bit steady. “Um. I found the source. And it’s not in Latveria....It’s in the Tower.” - Shit
"The entire Tower shakes as the lights go out and plunge everything into the dark." - FUCK
Chapter 60
D is handling this a million times better than I could even imagine myself doing.
Hulk's first instinct being to get to and protect D and get her out is amazing and sweet and I need more of this side of Hulk. This is not diminished (to me) even if Bucky "ordered" him to do it because I've always gotten the impression that if someone gave Hulk an order he didn't agree with, he wouldn't do it. (It also also gives me hope Bucky is ok.)
Wanda has re-entered the chat. I wish it wasn't now and that she was on D's side but I still have hope that we will get there.
“You get to explain the mess to Tony,” you tell him, which just makes him grin even wider. (insert laughing emoji)
Who the fuck managed to break into any server room belonging to Tony Stark unnoticed????
While I'm not shocked this is HYDRA, I really wish it wasn't. Bucky and Tony are going to go extra ballistic.
The last 15 chapters of this fic are going to stress out my heart, I can feel it now.

of all the acronyms that have more than one common reading, I'm trying to imagine what two people with different readings make the worst relationship.
person who reads MLM as multi-level marketing and person who reads MLM as marxist-leninist-maoist might be #1, but I think we have competition from IRA (Irish) and IRA (retirement account). They definitely seem like a bad match. VOC (volatile organic compound) and VOC (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie/the Dutch East India Company) also feel like they come from two inherently different people, though maybe they're both granola progressive types and so get along that way.
meanwhile, POS (point of sale) and POS (piece of shit) work perfectly well together. CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and CBT (cock and ball torture) are your average Tumblr couple. TFA (two-factor authentication) and TFA (The Force Awakens) are the Reddit version of that couple. I also definitely like PMC (private military contractor) / PMC (professional-managerial class) as a matching pair. CNC (consensual non-consent) and CNC (CNC machine, computer numerical control) are clearly a fun pair as well. most of them are good!

Two of my favorite chapters in "The Melody of Love" body of work and book series are called "The Money Drop" and "Make it Rain." These chapters open with me speaking about the love I have for some aspects of stripping culture. Even though I haven't been to a strip club in ages, decades, I specifically talk about wisdom I gleaned about "the money drop," where the stripper/dancer is high up on the pole and suddenly drops all the way down to the ground without warning and may do a split if she can touch the ground and is flexible enough. The rush of sensation, endorphins, thrill, and stimulation that move through my body when I do my little soft lightweight version of "the money drop" is everything juicy and phat to me. I also love when strippers "make it rain" as well--and the accentuation of the pure INNOCENCE and undeniable power in the geometry of an undulating female body and how it inspires the flow of excitement in others, women and men, everyone watching. While I don't know anything at all about making money in strip clubs, I do know a thing or two about love, regenerating the female body, and building one's wealth template. I want to teach women how to make money, to understand the money system that we live and participate in, and wealth consciousness, so that you can grow your bank in magical and practical ways. The chapters "The Money Drop" and "Make it Rain" give clarity and direction. Many pole dancers try to separate themselves from strippers. Not me. No ma'am! If anything, I bow to strippers for it is wasn't for them, I would not have any interest in pole dancing at all. Bougie pole dancers are like "oh I'm an athlete and I don't want to jiggle my ass too much." And yes pole dancing is absolutely an athletic AND SEXY art that strength-trains the body, I also give credit where credit is due to women strippers, some of the most resilient people on the planet. Like, I really do bow to ya'll (like on bended knee) when I meet a stripper, the most recent one in my hot yoga class. I was overjoyed that she felt safe and comfortable enough to be honest with me, a stranger, as we were showering and getting dressed. Due to social stigma, shame (and the accompanying perversions and weird sexual obsession) and lack of respect, most sex workers have to stay anonymous and private in their everyday lives. Because i listen to my body I took a long break on my books. I was starting to tax my body and stress out as I am so close to finishing and super excited but my body was like "NOOOO! Please stop!" so I closed my computer, turned on my record player, and just relaxed and let myself be. But next Thursday, I'm back on that writing curating horse, giddy up baby... and finalizing these two chapters. -India Ame'ye, Author, Pictured, The Pole Portal Descend From Heaven

COBRA KAI DR. "Lookin' at you got me thinkin' nonsense"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Written by Doja Cat, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, Videoclub + Lana Del Rey
Born April 5th 2007 at 11:11 PM, seventeen year old Avi is the most energetic person you'll ever meet (plus the oldest child, I have a single little sister). Raised by my father doctor and stay at home mom, I spent most of her childhood glued to a half broken ipad. I'm like a literal copy and paste stereotypical ENFP mixed with sarcastic undertones. A junior in 'West Valley Highschool' with a solid 3.9 GPA, with somehow eight missing assignments in math. Friends close to me say, "She's the one who's always talking out loud in English."
What does a stereotypical teenage girl do in a highschool surrounded by karate maniacs?
Actually i doesn't do karate. Ironic isn't it? Imagine living in the town known for karate and the 'All Valley' only to not be involved in anything. Being friends with Miguel since 7th grade and friends with Sam since Freshman, I've spent time in the dojos. Not doing anything of course, just sitting on the sidelines going on my computer working (no that's a lie I'm on games or Tumblr). Not interested in karate, I stayed for my friends so I could chat to them for longer outside of school. I used to alternate days, with one day being spent at the Cobra Kai dojo while the next being spent at the Miyagi-Do dojo. But now I just spends time at any dojo whenever she wants. Mainly just spending time in Miguel or Sam's dojo. (Mostly with Miguel)
Self proclaimed eastern chipmunk, found in the wild.(or found at Barnes and Nobles)🦌
Standing at 5,3 ft with warm brown skin, I'm often be found at the middle of class photos. Pure Indian, with both my parents being Indian and from India. I got them powerful anti aging Asian genes. Dark brown hair, and I mean DARK brown hair. People often mistake my hair for black until they see it in the light. Semi dark brown eyes, with light pink lips. Always decked out in vintage jewelry in gold and silver. Don't even get me started on clothes, I have the best taste. Duh.

lowkey got lazy so I'll make other posts later... if ur an og you'll know this is a updated dr post to my old ck dr :3
