I see between 35 and 37 depending on how close I get to my computerscreen.

I like yellow though. I have this wonderful sunflower yellow hoodie I love and my mum finds annoyingly bright.

25% of the people have a 4th cone and see colors as they are

Given the sudden interest for the color of dresses and vision, here some of the fascinating findings we did recently.

The color nuances we see depend on the number and distribution of cones (=color receptors) in our eye. You can check this rainbow: how many color nuances do you count?

You see less than 20 color nuances: you are a dichromats, like dogs, which means you have 2 types of cones only. You are likely to wear black, beige, and blue. 25% of the population is dichromat.

You see between 20 and 32 color nuances: you are a trichromat, you have 3 types of cones (in the purple/blue, green and red area). You enjoy different colors as you can appreciate them. 50% of the population is trichromat.

You see between 33 and 39 colors: you are a tetrachromat, like bees, and have 4 types of cones (in the purple/blue, green, red plus yellow area). You are irritated by yellow, so this color will be nowhere to be found in your wardrobe. 25% of the population is tetrachromat.

You see more than 39 color nuances: come on, you are making up things! there are only 39 different colors in the test and probably only 35 are properly translated by your computer screen anyway :)

It is highly probable that people who have an additional 4th cone do not get tricked by blue/black or white/gold dresses, no matter the background light ;)

"Izzy, please." Mattheo begged his girlfiend - ex-girlfriend - for the hundreth time. They on the other hand didn't want to listen. She listened the other two times, the other two times he betrayed her trust and made her look like a fool. The other two times he made them believe he regretted his actions and really loved her, and she took him back because, fuck those damn eyes of his.

"Leave me alone, you asshole." Izzy cries at him trying to close her bedroom door on him, yet he is stronger. She still tries to close it by putting her entire weight on the door which helps to some parts. Mostly because Mattheo doesn't want to hurt her by being too violent with the door.

"Please, malishka. I'm sorry. Just let me explain." He tries begging again but to no avail.

"Fuck off, I've listened the past two times. Thrid times a charm Mattheo, you're out." They give the door one more big slam with their entire body weight and manage to fully close it, quickly turning the key in the lock to keep their ex-boyfriend outside. Izzy slid down her door and started quietly sobbing while keeping her head buried in her lap.

Silence occured in the dorm, Mattheo must've left. Izzy stays in their position on the floor until her roommate softly knocks on the door. The brunette jumps off the floor and in lightning speed opens the door and falls into her friend's arm. She continues her sobbing while Mary rubs her back with comforting words.

Never again, Mattheo. Izzy tells herself. Never again.

"How's you morning going, boss?"

"Very pleasant, how's yours going, Rick?"

"Pleasant aswell, thank you for asking boss." He swings through the big crowds of his bar, Église, greeting employees and customers on his way.

"Your drink, boss."

"Thank you, Joshua." He opens his office door and gives his employe a quick smile before entring his office. He lets out a big sigh before going to his table, already seeing a big pile of paper work on there. He sits down and buries his face in his hands. So much paperwork yet the hardest assignment is his best worker. The only reason he currently is in France.

“You asshole...” He whispers to himself before lifting his head to look at his computerscreen. He started doing his work, all the things he normally would, meetings, drug deals, papers for his clubs and bars. Everything a mafia boss does. But his mind was not in this room, hell, it wasn’t even in the same building.

All he could think about was that girl, the girl he met at his friend’s apartment today. 

He thought about her eyes and how they shined, her pretty hair and how it draped over her breasts, her lips and how kissbale they looked in that moment, her thighs and how he would hold them while he-

A loud ringing brought him back, he picks up his phone. Leander written in bold letters shines on his phone. The boss lets out a big sigh before picking up.

“Hey, Lee.” He spoke into his phone, trapping it between his ear and shoulder continuing his work.

“Hey, bud. I just wanted to apologize. You were right I wasn’t in the right state of mind, I fell for that girl and completely forgot the importance of the mission. Not only for myself but also for you and your business...I’m sorry, I’ll do my best to stay away...but you saw her...It’s hard not to want her.” He finishes off with a sigh and shaky breath, anxiety clear in his voice. Fear of messing up the big project they, have been working on for many years now.

“It’s okay...As long as you keep the mission as your first priority.” He smirks as he continues his work. Less competition.

“Of course...to avenge my sister is all I need to do now...Thank you for helping me, brother. Without you I wouldn’t have gotten this far, I won’t dissapoint you.”

“Trust me, Lee, you couldn’t.” After saying their goodbyes they hung up. He couldn’t help but smile at Leander’s reaction. How naive, thankfully. It makes his job of getting all the competition out of the way so much easier, less blood shed and less money spent. Those thoughts make his mind drift to that girl again.

Oh, that girl.

She truly has him around her finger, and he barely even knows anything about her. He doesn‘t need to, she‘s his soulmate. She will have to love him be it with or without force, but again why force? Soulmates are meant to love one another unconditionally no matter the situation.

There is a knock on the door, making the boss look at his watch in thought.

8:27 a.m.

Time for the first meeting on the day, after an audible come in the door opens. He stands up extending his hand for a firm, polite hand shake. As he sits down, talking with his colleague, he notices his name tag on his table wasn’t turned correctly. He takes the little metal piece and turns it around revealing his name to the person sitting in front of him.
