Any advice for sluts with low self-confidence?

"Fake it 'til you make it" isn't the worst advice but it's not something everyone is capable of. I find that a little social lubricant helps me relax a little to pretend to be more confident than I actually am but that's just me.

Maybe I'm not the best person to ask this one since I constantly struggle with it, myself. 😅

So the pair in this au is part of a larger series, so I linked the guide the author had made for Kris/Jure, since I specifically made an aesthetic for them within this au.

Jure/Kris/ongoing/since it's part of the series I have no idea the exact word count, sorry

Also once again reminding everyone to read the tags carefully, since this fic is explicit rating

(The summary and my thoughts under the cut)

Summary: Jure always thought that things he wanted were weird and he all but gave up on trying to find someone who'd understand his odd notions around sex.

But when he starts scening with Kris, things start to change. He feels more accepted than he ever had before, but can he get over his bad past experiences or will he let them define him?

Why I liked it: This fic series caught me by such a surprise, especially since it originally started as centered around jance, but Kris/Jure absolutely won over my heart.

The progression of their relationship, both romantic and sexual was such a wonderful ride. Jure learning to accept his asexuality was so, so very touching and personal for me, I had seriously stop several times simply because of how hard some parts hit me. Kris' patience and unrelenting confience in him made me so emotional.

And then later Jure returning the favor and building up Kris' confidence? Wonderful, beautiful, 10/10. If you love unique dynamics, an asexual character exploring how his sexual attractions works(and how it doesn't) and being fully accepted for what it is, I definitely think you should give this one a read.

Pondering dusting off my original characters

Been thinking about my Original Characters more and more lately.

I came up with lots of original stories and characters for personal novels when I was a teen. And i sort of shelved all of them by the time I was 20 because I didnt consider myself a good enough writer or artist to do my original projects justice.

Spent the next decade and change writing only fanfic and drawing primarily fanart.

And now ive reached a point where I can confidently say, "I'm a fucking good writer. And a decent artist." Its taken me a long while to reach that point, and to build my own self confience. And love myself enough that I finally believe it too.

Having a husband who reads my fanfics, without even being asked, while I'm at work was a huge self esteem boost not gonna lie. Ladies and gents, find you a man (any partner really) who loves and respects your craft so much that they unironically indulge in your creations while you are at work.

I digress (that man is totalling being included in every dedication ever if i ever publish a novel) BUT I DIGRESS. I feel like its finally time to dust off and redesign my original characters.

Polish them up. And revisit my old original novel ideas. Breathe new life into them. Rework the ideas to suit a more mature me.

I might not pursue this endeavor immediatly. But its def something ive been mulling over and considering.

I have some darling original characters, with their own unique worlds and stories and ive left them neglected for so so long.

This is just a weird rant, but i dont understand why Misabel keeps getting called fat in moominsummer madness but my girl doesnt even look fat. She looks skinny even.

She does look chubby is moominmama's maid, but the character desing is different and she is also much smaller. (Half the size of a moomin)

I wonder if it has to do with Misabel confience being so low, she thinks she is fat, but i think im reading too much into the character.
