(vent) Again I am not touching my other interests here often, but I think Thomas Astruc (Mir4culous L4dybug) is one of the WORST examples of this meme amongst the showmakers:

Like... imagine writing an absolute textbook example of the mary sue character who is instantly talented in everything she does, the super ultra skilled designer and artist recognised by world wide celebrities for her skill, repeatedly hired by celebrities to do commissions for them, loved by everyone, one of the best video-gamer, apparently can invent complex mechanisms, is "the best Miraculous holder and the best holder of a ladybug miraculous who ever lived" (in 5000+ years!), instantly masters every miraculous she holds the first time, while also always getting away with her awful actions (if not getting rewarded for them) and taking up so much screen time that the supposed second main character (whose whole potential was assassinated to make him goofy, annoying and useless without this woman) might as well not exist

And when you DO address that, you are claimed to be some sort of sexist who just hates to see the girlboss wi- I mean, can't handle to see female lead or whatever. Not just that, but also claiming another character who was abused and neglected by her mother to the point of living basically without her, has god awful father that absolutely fails to act like a PARENT and instead just spoils her with gifts and favours and only had two whole friends in her entire life is evil just for the sake of evil and can never change and would not WANT to change because "she would not want to give away her PWIWWILEGES UWU".

That's not feminism, that's 'how do you do fellow kids'. That's the example of a boomer learning what ideals these darn modern kids support and trying to jump on the bandwagon without actually understanding any of this... and ironically ending up hurting the exact people you try to cater to. Also all mentioned characters are 14-15 years old.

Sigh... Sometimes I just wish show makers stopped trying to jump onto ideas they clearly do not understand. This is always just so embarrassing to watch.

i went to my baby sisters schoolwide music/singing show and i literally left feeling so happy

#wind howls #the show was amazing 1st to 6th graders can b so full of talent and display it so beautifully when they have a good teacher forreal forreal #i watched a little boy go crazy on the bongo playing the beat for Mission Impossible while his friend did the melody on the piano #i was speechless the entire time. those two were 4th graders and they had the whole gym roaring with cheers and claps #and my baby sister was SO SO CUTE she accompanied the 5th graders on the recorder and then sung when it was the 6ths time #i cried i did 😭 they were so cute she was so cute she was so proud of herself anf im so so so proud of her #we also watched 2 videos of other students who played wonderful songs on the marimba and xylophones and thats so incredible #kids are so so talented #i also almost started crying whrn the 1st graders started singing because they are so small and their voices are so cute and im really weak #im so so so glad i went ohhh my GOD #im so so proud of my baby sister its unreal !!!! everyone congratulate her NOW

I had a dream that there was singing/performing competition going on scream it was all so real i woke up and I wa slike megan thee stallion won I'm so happy! before I fully awoke halp. but I'm so glad I didn't have a nightmare <3

#patxt #beside her there was this like emo rock dude that people mostly boo'd for some reason? I think he was clearly an industry plant and mid and #it was so brutal to see people just 😐 at him as his singing there. and some other people. I was in the crowd watching life with mt friends #and its like everyone had their own song they were performing but after someone gets voted out their song gets added to the rest of artists #like. queue? so at the end everyone was singing everyhring really. and I think Megan wasn't that big of an artist yet because she was happy #but seemed overwhelmed with what was going on esp since it was a consecutive win in a row for her. AND THE THING IS SOMEHOW??? after the #competition she was in MY GRANDPARENTS HOUSE? and me and my friends were chilling taking with her congratulating and my grandma were making #her tea so she can rest a bit (my grandma weren't blind in my dream im gonna crryyy) and we were chatting like we were friends and she was #worried this will bring like an influx of performances and duties to her and she's afraid its gonna drain her and i told her oh don't worry #that's what you have your menagers for so they cna pick just the best things out for u so u don't have to stress ^_^#I think my brain mixed Megan and Sara James together because I've been thinking abt Sara winning the voice in USA and how she was also #sweeping every competition here in poland and I was 🥺 like... guys she's 13 😭 and she's such a sweetheart and kind girl I hope the #like singing industry will be kind to her or else I'm exploding this world #got Talent not the voice i think*
