APRIL FOOLS W THE STOLLS⁉️⁉️
hi! this is several months late but i've been busy with Stuff so i hope you don't mind!
---------------------------------------
you know these boys live for april 1st
when they were younger it was all about who could pull the most pranks
sheer volume was the goal
now, however, they're older and have matured
now it's about their teamwork in pulling off the most elaborate prank and how many people they can get to fall for it
and of course they have to get their best friend involved
having been the victim of some of their pranks in the past, you're well aware that the pair of them are remarkably effective in achieving their goals
and obviously you love them to pieces and jump at the chance to be involved
their planning takes almost a month and they take everything you say on board
you have a secret location hidden somewhere in the camp where you meet and scheme
people keep trying to find it, they'll follow you around camp to try and find where you three vanish occasionally but they never quite manage it
whoever your godly parent is, they want to include an element of them
sort of like a tribute to them and also to you
you were a part of this plan, you get a part of the credit!
and part of the blame, depending on how well everything goes
they love having you around helping them
on the actual day, everything goes off as planned
almost the whole camp gets duped in one way or another
of course there are some people that are... irritated
so when you hear something of a mob calling your names, the three of you disappear into your hidey-hole and wait out the wrath with the snacks you've squirrelled away over the last week
april fools was a great success!
-----------------------------------
thank you for requesting, i hope you enjoyed!

How not to lose a brother, no glue no borax
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hermes!fem!reader x Hermes cabin
Summary: luke betrays camp and you don’t know what to do or how to feel anymore. Luckily your siblings seem to be there for you.
Contains: pure angst!!, hermes sibling dynamics, SPOILERS for last Olympian, takes place during the titans curse/battle of the labyrinth. Not really a happy ending? Character death.
A/N: hi guys this is my first ff on tumblr hope you like it. Slightly (or mostly) inspired by the ‘no glue no borax trend’ on tik tok.
Word count: 1.2K
Tumblr media
You would think that a cabin like cabin 11 always felt alive and full of people, yet you couldn't help but feel like the loneliest girl in that there. The dull brown walls felt suffocating, but the thought of leaving them seemed even more terrifying.
“Come on sis you’ve got to leave your bed someday,” said Connor, carrying a tray of food. He sat on the footer of the bed and looked up at the girl. Being the closest in age–just one year apart– Connor was your rock and your partner in crime.
You slowly sat up and grabbed the small bowl of strawberries from the tray. “Maybe Hypnos is my dad,” you said sarcastically while wrapping a blanket around yourself. Maybe Connor was right. It was time to touch the grass and wash up a bit.
“That would be a shame, I can't afford to lose another–'' he cut himself off before messing up big time. You shifted in your seat uncomfortably, eyes getting watery with the thought of him again. The old Hermes cabin counselor.
You were there that day when the iris message arrived in camp. Luke, your older brother, confessing to poisoning Thalia's tree and betraying camp. It wasn't as if the news only affected you; every single one of your half-siblings couldn't believe it. It had explained why he didn't arrive at camp that year or why Chris wasn't there to annoy you like always. Oh wait, that meant Chris also left. You were never the same again.
you were merely 10 years old when you first arrived, being claimed by your father as soon as you stepped foot into camp. Connecting with your other siblings in an instant, especially with Luke. You looked up to him; he was the older brother you never had growing up as an only child. He taught you how to use a sword and how to utilize your abilities to their full potential. It was fun to steal the camp store with your siblings, a weird bonding experience for sure.  Being a year-rounder also meant spending more time at camp, which also meant getting to know Luke better than most of your other siblings.
Truly, nothing prepared you for such a harsh reality check. You blame yourself for not seeing the signs after his quest; the constant waking up in the middle of the night screaming in fear. the sudden harshness towards others, slowly disconnecting from camp. Sadly, you started to blame your father for everything–how he treated Luke, how he treated you, and how he seemed to not care for the pain you felt.
“Y/N Travis told me not to tell you but they found Chris, He's alive.” Your eyes widened with shock, you knew Chris wasn't dead, but the thought that he was no longer with Luke made you worry even more. At least if he was with the enemy, he was still with his brother.
“Where is he?” you said, getting up, ready to travel to the depths of Tartarus just to see him again.
“Wooh, hold your horses, he was brought back to camp but, he's not in the condition you want to see him in,” Connor said, a slight shakiness to his words as if he had seen Chris, as if he was hiding something.
“What do you mean by that? I don't care about that I just want to see him again” You were starting to get angry. You weren't the same immature 10-year-old from before. You could handle this, or at least you wanted to believe you could.
Connor got annoyed. He knew better than to go against his brother's wishes, but he thought this news could bring a smile to your face, a smile long forgotten. “Travis was right; I shouldn't have told you,” He said, getting up from your bed, about to leave the cabin. He couldn't afford to dwell on these things. He now had to be head counselor, thinking about the course of action the camp would take.
But you ran, catching up to him, grabbing his arm. You felt compelled to know this information; he was your brother. “You and Travis can't keep hiding things from me. I am not a child anymore. Don't you think it hurts me every day how I lost my brothers or how I might lose more in war " Tears were threatening to spill out your eyes, your legs felt weak from not walking in such a long time and your emotions could no longer be contained.
"See Y/N, that's the thing. You're so blinded by your pain. Don't you see the rest of us grieving? Don't you see how Julia and Alice have stopped with their pranks? How me and Travis have to be in charge of this damn cabin with no guidance.” you had never seen Connor actually get angry before, He was the camp clown he played pranks on people, he made people laugh, he didn't make them cry.
“You're not the only one hurting, Y/N, Understand that '' he finished off pulling his arm away from your grip. The tears you held on to finally started to spill, It was true you could be selfish at times, but you couldn't afford to fight with your siblings; it was the only thing left in your life. Alexa, one of your sisters was the one to bring you food that night, not seeing Connor until after the campfire, very clearly annoyed and avoiding you after your little spat.
You knew tension was high in the cabin but you didn't stop to think it was this bad. You were so caught up in your own agenda that you didn't see how you could all fight at a time like this. You had to have each other's backs. Everybody a camp loved Luke; that was a fact, but nobody felt the true betrayal of a sibling like you guys did.
It had been a year now, and you and your siblings found yourselves on Mount Olympus embracing each other and sobbing as you saw your poor brother die. “He died a hero,'' they said but that still didn't stop the pain. It was enough to see him betray camp, witness so many demigods die in battle, see Chris go mad from his days in the labyrinth, see camp slowly dying. Now there was a dagger still inside of Luke.
You missed the times you played poker in cabin 11 or made chocolate chip cookies (his and your favorite), sword fighting, everything. You've only met your father a few times; you couldn't help but blame him for so much. Yet here he was with you guys equally as sad, Travis swore he saw the old man shed a tear or two. It made you laugh slightly when he told you that, not that it was something to laugh at,  just the thought of a god showing emotions seemed foreign.
It was funny how grief brought you all together, more united than before. But still, that didn't mean you could look past Luke's actions and the pain you felt. Maybe someday in the future, you would understand where he was coming from, but for now, you couldn't help but cry those feelings and thoughts away.

I don't think Percy Jackson would fw Ariel at all actually,he'd think she's fine if a bit corny but the Poseidon reveal would make him hate her out of association LMFAO And the Stolls would make jokes about him being her or Prince Eric so he'd kinda have no choice but to ditch the movie as a whole.Percy's actual favorite Disney Princess is Cinderella because he kins her(grew up with an abusive stepparent + Kept herself kind despite all that and the combined loneliness of barely any real friends growing up + Blue)and his favorite version of her is specifically Brandy because he's afrolatino.Maybe he had a crush on her too,who knows(I know,he SO did and Sally made him a replica of her dress for one of his birthday's and he cried like a baby shark)

SAID HE LIKES CRAZY GIRLS! — PERCY + DAUGHTER OF ERIS
masterlist | rules
❝ Could you write headcanons for Percy Jackson x Daughter of Eris reader? ❞ — anon
in which percy dates a daughter of eris
pairing percy jackson x eris!reader
warnings percy gets hurt + in the infirmary for a bit
on the radio . . . crazy girls (toopoor)
an i can't remember if the stolls getting supplies thing is canon or something i read in a fanfic once and made canon in my head but if its the latter and ur the one who came up with it lmk so i can credit you!
Honestly, Percy was scared of you at first. He couldn’t help it, considering his first meeting with your mom was when she was competing with her siblings for darkest child. That did not leave a very good first impression
The rumours didn’t help either. All the other campers avoided you like the plague, not wanting to be anywhere near the child of discord out of fear
All except two: Connor and Travis Stoll, sons of Hermes. Your mom worked for their dad’s company, the Hermes Express, and while others cowered in fear at the chaos surrounding you, they admired it
After you helped them with their prank on the Aphrodite cabin, inspired by your mother’s golden apple, they decided to take you under their wing and hire you
You see, Connor and Travis were in charge of buying supplies from the outside world and bringing them into camp, since they’re two of the few demigods in camp who could drive. As the number of demigods increased, they realised they needed a third person to help them out, and who better than Eris’ daughter?
Usually, you’d go in pairs for safety reasons. However, both Connor and Travis had gotten sick one day, leaving you alone
“What’re you guys doing? I’ve been waiting for you at Thalia’s tree for ages,” you said, huffing as you sat on the edge of one of the beds in the Hermes cabin, feeling a wave of nostalgia wash over you as you looked around the cabin you called home for years until they built one for your mother.
Travis coughed, and that’s when you really took a good look at them. Both their noses were bright red and their eyes were watery, “sorry Y/N, we can’t go with you today,” he said before blowing his nose.
“Oh, okay, we can go some other day then, when you two are feeling better,” you smiled. As you were about to walk out, you heard Connor mumble a faint, “nooo,” stopping you in your tracks.
Turning around, you watched as he laboriously got out of bed and took slow strides towards you. Putting your hands in his, he said, “you have to go. You have to continue our legacy. Besides, Will says the medicine we need ran out. You need to save us before it's too late!”
You blinked, unsure if he was joking or not. To you, he just seemed to have the common cold, “you’re not dying, Connor,” you began, “but really, I can’t go alone, I’ve never done this on my own before!”
Suddenly, you heard the door of the cabin open, and in walked Percy Jackson. He was good friends with the Stolls, having spent a couple nights in the Hermes cabin himself, and wanted to check on them after hearing they were sick
“Perfect! Percy can go with you!” Connor said, and that was that.
The car ride was awkward, to say the least. There you were, daughter of strife herself, driving to a nearby general store with the great Percy Jackson in the passenger seat
You were already a pretty reckless driver to begin with, always going as fast as the speed limit would allow, but with him at your side, you were worse. The more nervous you got, the more rash you became.
You couldn’t help it though, having always thought Percy was a little cute, keeping your distance simply because you knew you’d never get a chance with him. Unlike all the other people part of the Percy fanclub, you were realistic. Why would he go for you when he could easily have some charming daughter of Aphrodite?
Eventually, you got to the store, and the two of you got out of the car (much to Percy’s delight, he was fighting the urge to vomit but didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of a pretty girl)
As soon as you entered, you felt a feeling of dread wash over you. Percy turned to look at you, and you immediately knew it wasn’t just you. He was feeling it too
You pointed to the right, silently telling him that’s where you were going to patrol, and he headed for the left. The place was eerily empty and quiet, but everything seemed fine on your end. You were about to yell out Percy’s name, when you heard him scream in pain
You ran to where he was, ripping your bracelet off and preparing for combat. The bracelet, a gift from your mother, turned into a beautiful stygian iron spear
In front of you was a Chimera. As soon as it laid its eyes on you, it forgot all about Percy, deciding you were much worthier prey. That’s what you wanted
Although the Chimera’s poison was infecting Percy’s body, he couldn’t help but admire the way you effortlessly moved with your spear, giving the Chimera a run for its money. As the battle got more heated, you seemed to get stronger, the chaos of it all fueling you.
Swiftly, you killed the Chimera, not bothering to watch it disintegrate as you were too worried about Percy
The materials you went out to get were long forgotten and you drove as quickly as you possibly could, desperate to get back to camp before it was too late for him. You’d given Percy some of the ambrosia you kept in the car for emergencies, but he needed proper treatment
You burst into the infirmary and watched as everyone stopped what they were doing. Setting Percy down on a nearby cot, you quickly explained the situation to Will and left, not wanting to be around anymore
It didn’t take much for you to go back though, all you could think about was Percy. You had to check on him. Every day, when campers called it a night and headed for their cabins, you hid yourself in the shadows and made your way to the infirmary
This happened for three nights until Percy woke up on the fourth
“Hey,” you heard a faint voice say. Immediately, you yanked your hand away from Percy’s, your face heating up. He smiled at you, his sea-green eyes twinkling in the dark
“Thanks for saving me back there, I don’t know what I would’ve done without you,” he continued, “you looked really cool with that spear. I could never use Riptide like that,"
Much to your own surprise, you replied, “I could help you, if you want. Swords and spears aren’t too different.”
Once Percy was deemed healthy, you began your training. At first, you’d just spar, the only words spoken between you being tips you’d give him, but soon enough, you started talking about other things
Percy realised people were wrong about you. Sure, your mother really scared him, but you weren’t her. You didn’t like chaos that caused others pain, you just liked to have a little fun from time-to-time, playing pranks and teasing others
He also realised he liked you. Really liked you. In the past, he would’ve taken his time with asking you out, replaying all the possible scenarios that could happen in his head, but after literally going through Tartarus and back, Percy couldn’t leave things unsaid anymore. So, he asked you out immediately
And that’s the story of how you two began dating
Percy is your #1 defender. He dismantles all the stereotypes people have spread about you and is willing to fight anyone who speaks a single word against you
He introduces you to his friends, and although they’re hesitant at first, they begin warming up to you and soon enough they become your friends too. Next thing you know, the rest of camp becomes accustomed to you as well
Percy couldn’t be happier! You’re the apple of his eye and he loved seeing you light up as you helped around the infirmary (Will had asked you to after realising as daughter of chaos, you could take it away, giving campers some peace of mind as they were being healed)
You two are SUCH a fun couple. You remind Percy of how much fun he used to have as a troublemaker before war stripped him of all enjoyment, so he starts helping you with the pranks you pull on people
He also continues to get supplies with you. The Stolls barely leave camp anymore because as soon as one of them offers to go with you, he’s silenced by the sound of Percy revving up the car
You also make out a lot and everywhere. Being Eris’ daughter, you can’t help but love the thrill of potentially getting caught, and Percy doesn’t mind because he gets to kiss you so it's a win-win situation
Being your boyfriend didn't exclude Percy from your tricks. You would play pranks on him too, though to a lesser degree than what you’d do to others
Your favourites are the subtle ones. Stuff like replacing his camp t-shirt with one a size too small and waiting for him to notice
“Babe,” Percy said, entering your cabin. Putting your bookmark - a polaroid picture of you and him - in your book, you set it aside and couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of Percy.
His hair, once black with a grey streak, was now bright blue. The streak stayed, but you didn’t mind, your job was done. “Do you like it?” You asked, grinning
Percy crossed his arms, holding back a chuckle as he stared at your smiling face. Walking over to your dresser, you opened a drawer and pulled out a small bottle which you threw at him
“This should get rid of it,” you told him. You’d never pull something like that without being sure it was reversible, you knew how it could affect a person’s self-esteem. Percy smiled at your thoughtfulness. He couldn’t believe you were his.

🐥 also happy (late) birthday jo!!
🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥
luke castellan x gn!apollo!reader
a/n: i will never get tired of bf!luke.
wc: 947
“Be with you in a second, sweet boy!”
Your hands were fiddling with gauze as you brush past Luke sitting on the only empty bed left in the infirmary. And you weren’t even talking to him! Your words were directed to his half-sibling and with all the others waiting for you, it was obvious that you weren’t leaving your shift anytime soon despite his plans for your date night.
“Doc, what about me? I feel sick too,” he mutters into your neck, big hands pulling at your waist and playing with the smock tied around your frame.
“What’s the matter, my love?” You coo, brushing back his mop of hair and looking into his honey sweet eyes. He grins and it’s a bit boyish and quite sinister, all Luke with a definite trick up his sleeve.
“My heart hurts…. because I pulled a few strings to have dinner with you at the lake and we’re not there right now,” he sighs, hot breath tickling your earlobe, “And I need you to fix me up too.” Cheeky asshole.
You bite your lip and slowly pull yourself away from his embrace, not without kissing the corner of his mouth before the fluttery feeling is weighed down by the reminder of your responsibilities at the sound of a scream from across the infirmary.
The room was filled with campers of all ages vying for your attention and waiting for your gentle hands to tend to everything from a scraped knee to a rising fever (though if you ask Luke, he’s so sure he saw Bradley from cabin 9 standing over the forge in the armory trying to break a sweat earlier).
It was sickening. Someone ought to tell these campers to get in line. Connor Stoll almost skips–excuse me, limps, (now that you’re watching him again) towards Luke with a shit-eating grin at his moody disposition at the fact that he has to fight for your attention.
“Beat it, loser.”
“Baby! Don’t be mean or I’ll ask you to leave. Get up, Connie needs to get his knee wrapped, you say with a furrow in your brow. Your eyes dart around the room wondering where the rest of your siblings have gone to help you heal these campers, but unlike you, they’ve already clocked out for the day. It’s a wonder how many kids at Camp Half-Blood get brutalized, maimed, or both on the daily, but it’s all in a day’s work of being a child of Apollo.
“Yeah, move it bighead!”
Luke grumbles, rising to his feet and shoving Connor a bit harder than what’s brotherly, so much so that the preteen falls face first into the cot. (Luke thought it was dumb that the kid was acting like a baby since the idiot scraped his knee jumping off the roof of the dining pavilion because Travis and Chris dared him to.)
“OWWW!” he groans, and before you can react, Bradley’s asking for another cold towel and little Lila from cabin 4 starts crying about her sun poisoning from being out in the strawberry field—your shaking hands and wide eyes let Luke know you’re at your limit so he ushers you behind a curtain for examinations.
“Honestly, you’re overworked babe. Take a break,” he says sternly, but softens as you look up at him with a pout and a whole lot of love. He smooths your hair down and hands you a glass of water.
“Just need to see the rest of the patients for the day and send them on their way. I don’t want anyone to be hurt,” you mumble through sips, leaning against the wall and shutting your eyes. To Luke, it sounded like the quicker you get through this the more time he spends with you— and so he moves so quickly that you barely process what he’s doing until you hear various complaints from campers (who are annoyed that their new nurse isn’t as pretty as you and dons a fierce glare and curls that hang over his forehead like a dark cloud).
Nurse Luke models after what he’s seen you do here countless times, but in a way that’s very much his own. He gives out ambrosia and nectar, cleans up booboos where needed, tells Bradley to fuck off and take a cold shower, tapes Connor’s mouth shut, and awkwardly jokes to a kid from cabin 6 that he probably shouldn’t be the one doing stitches or he’ll get a scar that looks like the one running down his cheek. They agree to wait until later, holding bloody gauze to their chin.
By the time you’ve calmed yourself down, you pull back the curtain to see an eerily quiet infirmary (and you’re not sure if they’ve been threatened into silence) but everyone is bandaged, fed and watered—to the best of Luke’s ability. It brings up a sunny smile on your face that reminds him of the first rays of morning light which is a view he never gets tired of, and you finally throw in the towel when Leo and little Will come in for the evening shift.
A resounding sigh is heard from the infirmary’s patients as you leave with your boyfriend, to which you don’t think much of as you look at Luke like he’s the answer to all of your problems. He kisses you in the doorway like its a cure, whispering sweet nothings and promises of a nice dinner at the lake even if it’s pitch black outside now.
It also serves to those damn kids as a reminder that he’s the one who gets to fuss over you and though he doesn’t like starting fights, boy, does he love ending them, in his own little way.

ii. and i never saw you coming, and i'll never be the same. | luke castellan | state of grace
sixteen-year-old luke castellan has his first kiss with you, the girl he'd been hopelessly crushing on for the last two years.
athena!reader x luke castellan. not canon compliant, no betrayal. happy ending luke :)
series masterlist | previous | next
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
sixteen-year-old luke castellan was shooting daggers at annabeth right now while she playfully approached you, pretending to expose his crush on you.
“beth!” he hissed, making a ‘cut-it-out’ motion with his hands. chris chuckled softly from beside him, too entertained by the situation unfolding. luke jabbed his elbow into chris’ rib, unable to handle two of his so-called friends laughing at his demise. “annabeth, please don’t!”
that caught your attention. you turned around to see annabeth, a sheepish smile on her face as she awkwardly waved at you. you cocked an eyebrow before tilting your head to see luke, half-standing from the bench with a frozen expression on his face. chris was doubled over in laughter, nearly falling off his seat.
“come with me,” you placed both hands on beth’s shoulders, letting her lead you to the two hermes boys. you stood in front of them, removing your hands from beth and crossing them over your chest. you playfully pointed between the three of them, “care to tell me what this is about?”
“i think luke should tell you,” chris shrugged, making eye contact with annabeth. the two of them erupted in giggles and luke wanted the ground to swallow him whole. if it wasn’t for his friends’ actions, he’s sure it would’ve been the redness on his cheeks that gave it away.
“well, go on, head counselor,” you bit your bottom lip, finding his blushing face completely adorable.
you and luke got closer over the past two years since he got to camp. he was always around the athena cabin, at first because he wanted to be close to annabeth, but everyone knew that it slowly morphed into wanting to see you and hang out with you more. because he was always with you, the campers got to know him fairly quickly. luke was right– everyone did love you, and by association, the campers liked him too, or at least, tolerated him.
you were known to be the nicest head counselor, even before you took the position from oliver, known as the best archer in camp’s history, and the wisest daughter of athena. the more luke hung out with you and got to know you, the more his feelings for you developed.
in his defense, it was hard not to fall for you. he’d never met anyone as funny as you. every time he returns to the hermes cabin from being with you, his stomach hurts from laughing so much. you seemed to finish each other’s sentences so the punchlines of the jokes die on the tip of your tongues, but you’re both out of breath from laughing that not finishing the joke didn’t even matter.
you took care of everyone at camp, even if they weren’t your own siblings. he’d seen you bandage travis and connor stoll up one too many times and let them go instead of writing them up for one of their pranks. the boys would return to the hermes cabin, heads hanging low, with a look of short-lived apologies on their faces when luke asked them about why they had bandages on their forearms. luke pretended not to notice the knowing smiles the two troublemakers shared whenever he would say, you’re lucky counselor y/n was there.
you were fearless. you were often chosen to be a companion for quests because everyone knew you were the best. you never denied them and it got to the point where chiron and mr. d had to make a public service announcement that you were no longer allowed to go on quests unless it was your own because camp fell apart during the weeks you were away. the first time luke prayed to the gods, to his father, was when you returned from a particularly difficult quest with clarisse and you were in the infirmary for three days.
but above all that, you made luke a better person. you inspired him to always find kindness in everything. you cared so much about your siblings and the campers and it made him open himself up to care for his own siblings. he and chris were inseparable now and luke knew he probably wouldn’t have been ready to get close to other people if it weren’t for you. you pushed him to work on his sword work, helped him understand strategies, and taught him everything about camp. eventually, people took note of him and he became the hermes head counselor not too long after.
in between all of these things were luke’s favorite moments; like the calm minutes after hours-long training sessions, where you reveal something new about yourself. you’d go on and on about a random story that goes off into at least ten tangential stories, but luke didn’t care. he’d gladly lay on his stomach, letting the rays of the sun beat down on his back until his skin turned red and hot to the touch, to hear you talk. you’d roll over on your back or prop your chin on your open palm and ask him questions about himself. and luke would tell you things he’d never told anyone before. luke treasures these moments in his mind– small, happy memories, like a step-by-step guide on how to fall in love.
“they were just going to pull a prank,” he lied, ignoring the ‘thumbs-down’ motion annabeth sent his way and the ‘womp womp’ that chris let slip past his lips. “told them to quit it.”
“tsk, tsk,” you tutted, but there was no anger on your face, only fondness. you looked at annabeth, “i expected better from the daughter of athena, but you’re too much like your brother.”
“oh, ew, don’t say that,” annabeth shook her head, walking away as luke raised his hands in defense. chris pat luke on the back, following annabeth back to camp to join everyone else.
“i am offended that she is in her, ‘i hate my brother phase,” luke scoffed, shaking his head. he moved over to let you sit on chris’ previous seat. “i’m not that bad to warrant an ‘ew.’”
“she loves you,” you nudged him, letting your shoulder stay connected to his. “she’s exactly like you, even if she doesn’t admit it.”
“she’s got the good parts of me,” he replied, looking down at where his shoulder was touching yours. his hand slowly crept to yours, trying not to be super awkward about it.
he’d held hands with you before, when you’d mindlessly lace your fingers together underneath the table while you were talking to someone, wanting to feel him there, making sure that he was next to you or when you’d hold his hand during moments where he’d get so frustrated with the gods that you had to calm him down. but he always got nervous initiating it.
over the years, he’d grown to be strong and unafraid, but when it came to you, his resolve crumbled. with you, he was just a teenage boy with a crush.
“so, she’s got all of you,” you said, noticing his hand moving closer. you put a hand over his, flipping it over so you could properly hold it. you squeezed his hand making him rub his thumb across the back of yours.
“not all of me,” he turned his head to look at you, “i see parts of you in her, too.”
“you mean our mom.”
“no, i don’t,” luke replied, sincerity in his eyes. “i mean you.”
sure, annabeth was brilliant like the daughter of athena should be. she was always six steps ahead of everyone else and she quickly became your right-hand woman when coming up with strategies for capture the flag. there was no doubt that annabeth was a daughter of athena.
but there were so many parts of you, the person she looked up to the most, in her as well. annabeth was more patient than luke. she can explain things to younger campers, and sometimes older ones, a hundred times without getting frustrated that they weren’t grasping the concept. luke had to walk away so many times when he got frustrated. you’re such a hot head, luke, you said to him once, a teasing smile on your face as you ran your hands down his back to help him relax. beth also grew to read people well. she can hear the unspoken words in conversations and know exactly what someone needs, a heightened sense of emotional intelligence that luke knew she couldn’t have learned from anyone else but you.
there were other, simpler, things too; like how annabeth doesn’t tie her shoes too tightly, unless she was training or competing, so she can slip her shoes on and off easily, or how she tucks her camp necklace under her shirt just like you.
the look in luke’s eyes was intense. you had to look away before you lost your senses and connected your lips with his. he does this often, say things so nonchalantly like it didn’t make your breath catch in your throat. he says these words with such clarity, like the only things he’d ever been sure of in his life were the things he says about you or to you. it made your head spin.
“so,” you changed the subject, untangling your hands from each other to turn your entire body to face him. you poked his cheek with your index finger, “you gonna tell me the truth about what that was?”
“what’s that?” he asked, dumbly, trying to act like chris and beth didn’t just leave you alone with him. he pretended to think, rubbing his chin with his fingers, “dunno what you’re talking about?”
you groaned, dropping your forehead to his shoulder. you felt him wrap an arm around your torso, his chest rumbling as he laughed at your reaction. you looked up at him, temple pressed against his shoulder blade, “c’mon, luke,”
“no,” he shook his head, face turning red again, “it’s humiliating.”
“if i tell you a secret, can you tell me yours?” you whispered. luke shivered at the feeling of your breath hitting his skin. he felt the goosebumps rising on his arms that he had wrapped around you. you pulled your head away from him, creating more distance, “how does that sound?”
“no promises,” he replied, eyes darting to your lips for a brief second. he cleared his throat, “if your secret is a good one, then maybe i’ll consider it.”
“oh it’s a good one,” you said, mischief in your eyes. there were only a handful of moments where you let go of your head counselor persona, where you’d join the hermes cabin in wreaking havoc on camp.
his sixteenth birthday came to mind. you arranged for a surprise birthday party for him. he woke up to an empty cabin, which was rare, and camp was deserted when he left to grab breakfast. when he got to the dining hall, all the food prepared were his favorites and there was a messily painted banner hanging across the walls, courtesy of the art skills of the younger campers you taught during arts and crafts the day before.
the food wasn’t nutritional at all and mr. d made it clear that it would never happen again. i don’t know what i was thinking saying yes to an all-day sugar rush, he muttered after the third instance of young kids breaking their arms from attempting to climb up on their cabin roofs. maybe twinkies and salt and vinegar potato chips were not the healthiest breakfast foods, but luke thought it was perfect.
he received his present from you after, a messenger bag for the son of the god of messengers and a compass that always pointed him back to the athena cabin. so you always find your way home, you reasoned.
luke knew he didn’t need a compass to bring him back to you. his dad gave him the ability to always find his way back home and he was glad you knew that to him, home was wherever you were. on his sixteenth birthday, with you under his arm and the compass safely tucked inside his pocket, for the first time, he was thankful to be his father’s son.
that look of mischief in your eye always meant that you had something up your sleeve and luke didn’t know if he should be excited or scared. luke pressed, “tell me, then.”
“i have a crush on this boy,” you scrunched your face up, cheeks dusted with the lightest shade of pink.
he pursed his lips, heart dropping. he knew this time would come. he was thankful that he was spared from the boy talk that you engaged in with your other friends. he often heard you and silena squealing about some guy one of you liked and he was glad that you had other friends to talk to about it because he couldn’t handle you gush over another guy when he felt this deeply about you.
“it’s the new aphrodite kid, isn’t it?” luke asked, pulling away from you. “everyone is in love with him. even clarisse said he was cute! i personally don’t see it.”
you rolled your eyes, “luke, come on.”
“what?” he asked, “i’m pretty sure he’s not even a natural blond.”
you didn’t know if luke was playing dumb or if he genuinely didn’t realize that you were talking about him. you’d been blatantly obvious about how you felt about him, at least you thought you had been. you were always sitting beside him, choosing him to be your partner for head counselor activities, spent every free moment you had with him, and you were touchy with him, more than you were with anyone else at camp. at this point, all that was left to do was to spell it out for him.
you laughed, throwing your head back in laughter, “it’s not jack.”
“who then?”
“nope,” you said, shaking your head. “you gotta tell me your secret now because i told you mine.”
“that was like half a secret, angel!”
“okay so tell me half of your secret!”
“fine,” he relented, “i have a crush, too.”
your eyes widened, heart beating a million miles an hour. you knew how he felt about you, but you'd just been waiting for him to say something. “now, you have to tell me!”
“you first!” luke laughed, reaching out to grab you when you got up. you slipped past his fingers, walking away. “come back!”
your laughter filled his ears as you stood behind him. you wrapped your arms around him, propping your chin on his shoulder. luke nuzzled his head into the crook of your neck, letting out a content sigh. he tilted his head to the side, his lips ghosting over the skin of your arm.
you stayed like that for a few beats until he broke the silence. he should be upset right now because you liked a boy and wouldn’t tell him who it was, but it was hard to be mad when you were holding him like this. he looked up at you, a boyish grin on his face, eyes half open, “you gonna tell me?”
“it’s obvious,” you said, running your fingers through his hair. he purred under your touch, grabbing a hold of your arms to stop you from leaving his side. you weren’t planning to. “come on, luke. use that pretty little head of yours.”
luke tucked his face into the crease of your elbow, hiding his blush. he racked his brain for anyone else who you could have a crush on, but his mind ended up blank. when he thought of who on this earth could deserve you, he came up with no names. there was nobody who was good enough for you.
he changed his strategy. who did you hang out with at camp? he tried to think of the people he saw you with. hes seen you with the boy from the apollo cabin a few times but that was usually only when one of your siblings got injured. maybe the boy from the hephaestus cabin? the one who made his sword? no, you only talked to him on luke’s behalf that one time when you noticed he needed a new sword because he broke it during a particularly intense training session with you. he frowned. the only guy you actually hung out with at camp was him. and that couldn’t possibly be… unless?
luke’s head snapped up, “do you like me?”
“do you like me, he says,” you mimicked, “took ya long enough.”
you placed a chaste kiss on his cheek before running away from him, giggling and blushing like a school girl. luke couldn’t react quick enough to stop you from leaving, too dazed at your rushed confession. when he snapped back to his senses, he jumped from his seat, using all his strength to chase after you. he was thankful for his growth spurt because he caught up to you before you entered the main area of camp.
he wrapped his arms around your hips, twirling you around, ignoring your sounds of protests. he stared at you as you beat on his chest, hair in disarray from the wind. his lips were in a full-blown grin, head spinning with thoughts of you. you. you. you. you were all he could think about.
he finally put you down but left his hands on your hips as you tried to fix your messy hair. he liked you like this, soft and shy. it was a part of you that felt like was reserved for him. usually, you took on this authoritative, caretaker role, always having the weight of responsibility resting on your back, but with him, in these secret moments, you were delicate. luke wanted to protect you from everything, not because he thought you needed his protection, but because he felt like he’d finally found his purpose in this life-- to be with you. it was still caused by the hands of fate but away from the meddling of the gods.
“you like me,” he teased, pinching the skin of your hips.
“don’t get cocky,” you replied, smacking his chest.
luke hummed, leaning closer, “i like you too.”
“i know,” you whispered, inching closer to him. “just wanted you to confess first.”
“c’mon angel, cut me some slack,” he blushed, eyes darting to your lips. he ran his tongue across his lips, “didn’t think i had a shot with you.”
“you need to start giving yourself more credit, luke,” you reached over to cradle his face in your palm. your eyes traced over his features, mesmerized by the pools of honey in his eyes, the pink of his plump lips, “you’re the best person i know.”
“all ‘cause of you,” there were those words again. there was no room for argument when luke spoke about you. he was sure of it, too sure of you.
“are you gonna kiss me or am i gonna have to make all the moves in this relationship?”
luke rolled his eyes, “shut up.”
he placed his lips on yours, unable to stop himself from smiling as you kissed back. he pushed you towards him, wanting to feel you closer. the kiss was short because you were both breathless and grinning. it was messy and uncoordinated with it both being your first kisses. when he pulled his lips away from yours, he placed kisses all over your face, your jaw, your neck, his curls tickling your skin.
eventually, he stopped in a fit of giggles, lips puffy and pink. there was a dazed look on his face, as if he couldn’t believe that this was actually happening. he let go of your hips but threaded your fingers together as you walked into camp, burying his face into your hair when he heard chris and beth hollering in support when they saw your intertwined hands and disheveled demeanors.

luke castellan x poseidon!reader
cw: angst, mental health, panic attacks
when breaths taken seemed a little too shallow and thoughts raced around your one-track mind, everything seemed animated. the sun was far too bright, the sound far too loud. the intense summer heat radiated down in cartoon rays, hitting your skin and exploding into little pricks of pain. even the deep cuts in your camp shirt and the noise cancelling headphones fitted on to your head weren’t doing anything to provide relief from the sensory overload. your face was buried into your knees as you pressed your back to the wall of the arena. you could feel everything a hundred times more intensely than normal.
normally, luke would have been here to guide you to the poseidon cabin, where the deep blues would stop your vision from buzzing and the sounds of the ocean quieted the cacophony of camp half-blood. luke would hold you until the shaking stopped and soft snoring replaced it. normally, you could be assured that the both of you would return to an empty cabin, being poseidon’s only demigod child residing there.
so much had changed in the past few days. suddenly the dark navy of poseidon’s cabin looked a little brighter, the space inside a little less empty. a boy had shown up to camp, with bright blue eyes and curly blonde hair. you felt a pang in your heart the first time he waved at you to say hello. something seemed off, but you didn’t know how to explain it. when he was claimed by your dad about three times as fast as he claimed you, everything began to make sense. around percy jackson, your senses seemed to calm to a comforting thrum. the luxury of having a sibling was new to both of you, and he easily turned into your closest confidant and a younger brother you felt like you’d spent your whole life with. instead of returning to an empty cabin with luke, you’d return to a concerned percy. a teary-eyed twelve year old boy who recounted his mother’s stories to you until the world’s saturation turned to normal and you no longer felt like you were dying.
in the meantime, your best friend luke had stopped speaking to you.
he got along with percy like they were brothers, helping him look for his strengths and identify his weaknesses. they went all around camp that day. percy waved to you as they passed the lake. you stopped drawing patterns in the water with your hand to lift it in the air, and luke made eye contact and flinched. he nudged percy along and averted his soft brown eyes, a hint of guilt lingering behind them. your hand softly drifted back into the water.
you didn’t understand what had happened. you had traded one for the other, seemingly. that was a sacrifice you weren’t willing to make.
luke avoided you like the plague for days after percy got to camp. wherever you were, he wasn’t. even the training arena was void of him when you were there, despite his track record of training constantly. you had asked around, but no one knew what was going on with your best friend. connor attributed it to his “man-struation” while travis countered with some joke about a boner. even charles and chris had no idea what his issue was.
you had taken up spending all of your newfound free time at the beach, where the ocean could wash away the fights you’d had with luke and leave an empty slate in their absence. maybe it was best to forget about him after all. it wasn’t easy to push away the visions of his gentle eyes and tanned skin; his warm smile as he twirled you around after winning another game of capture the flag; his sweat glistened cheeks emphasizing the beautiful scar etched into his skin. you’d traced that scar hundreds of times when you’d cup his cheek as he sobbed about his father. then there was his toned arms: you’d yank at one and drag him away from his friends to whatever you two had planned that afternoon. they’d whoop and holler, and you’d run your hands up and down the muscles mindlessly.
yeah, maybe it was best to forget about him.
you never noticed the shallow breaths luke took, his face burning like apollo’s chariot had flown straight into it. he was just out of reach for you, your perfect best friend who you were cursed into loving. the fact that you two were the best of friends was proof enough that he could never see you the way you saw him.
were the best of friends. past tense. now you’d sit at the poseidon table in the mess hall and watch him rise from table eleven and excuse himself promptly. he didn’t even glance your way anymore.
after percy left for his quest it was much easier to isolate than you anticipated. chiron was too busy with the other campers to even notice your absence, although clarisse stopped by to entertain you now and again. without luke, camp became a shell of what it used to be. you envied the other campers that got to see him shine still. you sat in a pile of blankets in the dark, empty cabin that once used to be filled with love and good memories.
where did you go wrong?
luke saw you fall apart at the seams the moment he stopped speaking to you. the sky stayed a permanent dull grey, the grass looked more yellow, and even the air felt stale without you around. you breathed life into the world for him. the saddest part was the still waters everywhere. they fell silent in solidarity, like they wanted him to hear the soft sobs coming through your cabin door as he passed. he knew it was better this way though. you’d understand after you lost your brother. he wouldn’t be able to look you in the eyes knowing it was his fault, anyway.

Luke Castellan x gn!demeter!reader fluff
Prompt: It's spring clean at Camp Halfblood and Luke wants to bath in sun with you
I feel like i haven't posted in forever because i was busy grinding Stardew Valley. But im back so enjoy!!
Spring at Camp Halfblood was always an event. It was time for a deep clean of all cabins and the big house, sweeping the arena and taking care of all the minor things before the majority of the campers arrived for the summer.
As the counselor of the Demeter cabin it was your job to supervise the campers that took care off the strawberry fields. They had to be in top shape before the next season.
Today was one of the first sunny days of the year, even though with the wind it was still a little cold. You were shooing some campers around, most of them being your siblings but Luke also spotted some satyrs and a few unclaimed kids. Castor and Pollux both leaned over rows of strawberries, parting the plants and placing the spare ones into buckets gently.
"Connor, Travis, put that worm down!" You shouted across the strawberry field. The two raven-haired boys where running across the field, stepping on some plants and pestering the other kids with some worms they found in the dirt.
Luke smiled at you as he approached you, taking in the sight of you. You were wearing the orange camp halfblood tshirt, blue jeans and green flipflops. You were giving the siblings a killer gaze which left Luke laughing. He approached you quickly and wrapped his arms around you.
"You need to teach your kids some manners." You growled unhappy. Luke kept you in a tight hug and rocked you around a little. "And you need to take a breath." He mocked, pocking your forehead and rubbing over the angry wrinkles on your forehead.
You huffed and bumped your head into Luke's shoulder before you raised your head and kissed him gently. Luke smiled into the kiss and rubbed his thumbs over your hips.
"You look very pretty today." He whispered. "The spring gives you a nice glow." You smiled in return and couldn't help but to blush a tiny but. "I'm so glad the winter is over." You groaned into his chest. The winter always left you feeling dull and empty.
Luke rubbed your back up and down. "Agreed. I hate seeing you so sad because of it. Now you are blooming again, that's way better." He laughed slightly and you could feel the laugh vibrating in his chest. You grinned up at him but suddenly, there was a distant scream and two laughs. "Oh for heaven's sake." You grumbled angrily and pulled away from Luke.
You jumped over a few strawberry plants and stormed over towards the source of the scream.
Connor and Travis where hiding behind the Athena cabin, a metal bucket with some worms in the between them. Annabeth Chase, one of the younger Athena girls, was ducking away as they threw worms at her.
You growled angrily and raised your hand. One of the closer apple trees bowed down its branches and picked up the two boys by their hoods.
"Whoa, oh no." Travis shouted as he was lifted a few feet into the air. "And what excatly are you two doing here?" You ask sternly but cracked a smile as you saw Annabeth giggling in the distance.
"We were spreading the worm colony." Travis argued quickly. "That's right. So all plants have enough worms and become pretty." Connor added.
You rolled your eyes and let the tree hold them a little higher over the ground. "I am very sure that Annabeth is pretty enough and doesn't need the assistance of some worms." You argued.
Luke appeared behind you and stopped next to you, standing tall with crossed arms and a smirk. "Luke, help! They're being mean." Connor said, suddenly very whiny and you had to hold back a laugh. Luke chuckled and nodded.
"Mhh, sure. Very, very mean. The most evil person we will ever meet." He joked and patted your hair.
"Can you please let us down?" Travis asked with big, innocent eyes. "No." You said unrelenting. "Please!!" They now whined in unison.
"Come on." Luke patted your back encouraging. You rolled your eyes annoyed. "No."
"What if you get a kiss for it?" Luke suggested mischievously. Connor and Travis groaned dramatically. You smirked at Luke. "You know what... it's a deal."
Luke smiled and leaned closer to you, kissing you gently which caused the siblings to make fake gagging noises. Luke pulled away and leaned his forehead against yours.
"You get another kiss if you let them go now." He whispered. You grumbled unhappy but dropped the Stolls on the floor. They both quickly got up and headed off in a swift pace, turning their heads a few times anxiously which made you laugh.
Luke wrapped his arms around your waist and rested his head on your shoulder. He let out a pleased sigh and peppered your neck with a few kisses which caused you to giggle. "Brats." You mumbled and leaned back into Luke's embrace.
Luke chuckled. "Don't let them ruin your day. Instead i wanted to ask if you wanted to go to the beach with me and do some photosynthesis?"
You burst out laughing. "You know im not a plant?" You chuckled and turned around to hug Luke tightly. "But i would love to lay in the sun with you."
Luke smiled and hugged you back tightly. "Awesome. See? It's photosynthesis."
You rolled your eyes but smiled widely. "Whatever you say, love."

Hi! I absolutely love your writing, I was wondering if you could write a luke castellan x reader. Where she’s been at camp for a while now and haven’t been claimed. But most people at camp think she’s Hermes daughter which Luke hates because he has a crush on her. But she’s known the entire time, just wanted to stay in that cabin with Luke and everyone else.
"you've got to hide your love away"
Tumblr media
not my gif or my song! all credits to the original creators.
luke castellan x fem! reader (lukes POV)
word count: 1.8k
warnings: some sexual innuendos (nothing explicit though), some crude language, kissing, another song fic! i'm sorry! premise of the first little section is luke denying feeling for the reader because the people at camp think they could be half siblings, but it's nothing weird so dw!
summary: the reader is incredibly close with the kids in the hermes cabin, so close, that she lies and says she has not been claimed by her godly parents yet in order to stay with her friends for as long as possible. eventually, she admits it to her closest friend, luke, and he is relived, as he is in love with the reader.
authors note: guys! i have reached 500 (!!!!!) notes on two works so far, and that has blown me away! thank you for all the request, i'm working on getting through all of them as we speak, and i am so excited to put out what i have been working on to you guys! this is a shorter fic and just kind of cute, so i hope you enjoy! keep sending request, i'm loving reading all of your thoughts about percy and luke! i am so thankful for this community. love you all!
My friends and I, Connor, Travis, Chris, Clarisse, Alice, and {reader} sat around a dwindling campfire on an oddly cold night in September.  A gentle wind blew, rustling the leaves around us, and sending the heavy smoke of the fire into the faces of Connor and Travis, making everyone sitting under the stars laugh at their dramatic performance of a coughing fits.  Everyone, that is, except for {reader}.  She always had a soft spot for people who seemed to feel unwell, even if it was for something as small as the brothers inhaling a little bit of smoke as a joke.
{Reader} was unlike anyone else I had ever met, sympathetic, gentle, and kind.  Every time I saw her, I felt like my world was a little brighter.  Chris said I loved her, Connor said it was just because she is my “sister” through the camp, but I couldn’t pinpoint exactly what the feeling was.  She had not been claimed by her godly parent, or so she says. Everyone believes that her dad is Hermes, since he is typically a deadbeat dad, and people say he is too lazy to claim her.  I guess their thoughts made sense; she had lived in our cabin for two years, so Hermes really had no reason to claim her at that point.  It shattered my heart just a little bit, as {reader} was so beautiful, a type of beauty that is unique unto her, something I feared I would never get to experience again.   I thought I would not be able to fully love her if she was my sibling.  So, I pushed back any feelings I could have for her deep down in my heart.  No one knew about them, and I hoped they never did, especially if she was my sister. I didn’t want to be seen as some kinky weirdo.
The Stoll's finally stopped their theatrics, and I was able to look at {reader} for what felt like the first time due to the long day we’ve had.  Everything from counselor duties to training to hanging out with friends, I hadn’t gotten to spend a lot of time with her the days prior.  I watched her every move, and every moment she enchanted me.  Holding her guitar that I had gotten her from an Apollo kid for her birthday last year, she was picking out random chords, humming along to a song that I didn’t recognize.  Conversation fell silent amongst our group as {reader} started to play the chords she had been fiddling with in more confidence.  She sang along to the expertly played chords in a clean, clear voice that mesmerized me every time I heard her sing. When she reached the chorus of the song, she looked me in the eye while she sang, causing my stomach to erupt in fireworks.  Her eyes shone in the darkness, made even more beautiful by the fire reflecting off them.
Gather 'round all you clowns,
Let me hear you say
Hey, you’ve got to hide your love away!
When she completed her song, the Stoll's clapped, and then repeated her chorus loudly, skipping around the perimeter of the campfire, shouting like drunken sailors.  Typically, I would’ve joined in their antics, but in that moment, I couldn’t even speak.  {Reader} was so beautiful.  Maybe Chris was right, maybe I did love her.  She sat her guitar down beside her, and leaned up against the logs that we used as makeshift chairs. She threw her head back laughing at a joke Clarisse made, and her laughter was almost as beautiful as the song she had sung.  I could have sworn at that moment that my heart was going to burst out of my chest.  Something about the energy surrounding her made me admire her.  I couldn’t take my eyes off her.
Eventually, when the moon was completely risen in the sky, and the Harpies were about to come out, my group retreated to our respective cabins.  After showering and changing, I laid in my bed, staring up at the ceiling that was plastered with plastic stars, there to comfort younger campers.  I fiddled with the bracelet on my wrist that {reader} made for our friend group and exhaled deeply.  I had no idea what I was going to do.  That day had solidified for me that I was in love with {reader}.  Her aura was enchanting, enticing me every time she spoke.  I stared into the plastic stars for what felt like an eternity, when all the sudden, someone distracted me from my thoughts (thank the gods).
“Luke?”  {Reader}’s sweet voice whispered.  “Are you still awake?”  I saw her figure standing next to my bed.  She was wearing a sweatshirt from her hometown and flannel pants that made her look warm and inviting.  Her hair was slightly out of place, and she looked frightened.
“Of course I am, you know me.  Never asleep.”  I said with a sigh, sitting myself up on my elbows so I could see her better.  “Whatcha’ need?”
She turned her head away from me, as if she was embarrassed by what she had to say.  “Nightmares.  Again.  I can’t go back to sleep, I tried.”
I frowned, feeling sympathetic for the girl in front of me.  “I’m so sorry.  I know that sucks.  What can I do to help you?”
“Could I stay with you?”  she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
“What do you mean?”  I asked quizzically, my heart racing, thoughts jumbling together at the mere idea of her staying with me.
She rolled her eyes and shoved me over.  “I just need to be around someone right now, and you’re my best friend, so...”
I moved over so she would have room beside me, and automatically, I could see her body relax.  I pulled my duvet over her, making sure she was warm, and shuffled over a little more to respect her space.  “Do you want to talk about it?”
She shook her head.  “Not really.  I do have something that I want to tell you, though.”
I laid down so I was facing her.  “You can tell me anything, you know that.”
“Of course I can, that’s why I’m scared to tell you this.  I don’t want you to hate me.”  I could see the agitation on her face, so I reached out to hold her hand, hoping to ground her.  Electricity sparked where our skin met, but at that moment, I tried to ignore it.  I wondered if she felt it, too.
“I could never hate you.  I don’t care what you tell me.  You could tell me you hated sword fighting and I would still forgive you.”  I said, giving her my best sympathetic smile.
She giggled at this, moving to play with the silver ring on my finger.  “I know.”  She swallowed hard.  “Luke, I have been claimed by my dad, I just didn’t want to tell anyone because I didn’t want to leave the cabin.  I didn’t want to leave you.”
Resisting the urge to let my jaw drop, I looked at her, trying to find any sense of sarcasm in her gaze.  “Are you serious?  Who claimed you?  When?  Why me?”
“Apollo is my dad."  She said shortly.  “A year ago, the first time I played the guitar you got me. He claimed me then. Also, why you? Look at yourself.  You’re the most genuine person who I have ever known.  I love you.  So much.”
This time, my jaw did gape open just a little bit.  She loved me.  Oh, my gods, she fucking loved me.  “I love you too, but why are you telling me this now?”  I asked, curious as to why she was letting me in on this information at two or three in the morning.
“That’s what my nightmare was about.  The lie had gotten to me, and you started to believe I was your sister, which is a horrible thought, and you dated someone, some Aphrodite girl who said I was too ugly to be loved by someone like you.  I didn’t want that to become my reality, so here I am.”  She said, her gaze traveling down to where our hands were still connected.
My mind ran circles around her words.  She loved me.  She wanted me.  I guessed I looked lost, maybe even unhappy, because when I started to speak, she cut me off.  “So, what you’re saying is that...”
“If you don’t like me that’s okay!  Seriously.  I know that this is random and ridiculous.  It’s just a stupid dream.”  She said, trying to pull her hand away from mine.
“It’s not stupid, {reader}.  I love you, too.  I wanted you to not be a Herme’s kid with everything in my heart.”  I paused, eyes moving to her lips.  “Can I...”  At this, she softly pressed our lips together into the sweetest kiss I had ever experienced.  It was so soft, and some of her honey lip balm transferred onto mine.  She pressed a kiss to my cheek, my scar, my jaw, and my neck, before her eyes drifted closed.  “I love you, Luke, but I want to sleep.”
“I love you, too, so I will let you sleep.” I responded, pulling her into my arms. I held her close for the rest of the night, basking in her scent and her warmth.  I was coaxed to sleep by her rhythmic heartbeat that I could feel against my chest.
....
“WHAT THE HELL!”  Travis shouted.  It was probably nine in the morning, due to the emptiness and light coming into the cabin.
I jolted awake, suddenly aware of another person in my arms.  {Reader}.  She had her arms thrown across my chest, head resting in the crook of my neck.  I rubbed my eyes with my free hand, trying to take in what was happening around me, trying to comprehend that the night prior wasn’t a dream.
Travis and Connor stood near my bedside with stunned looks on my face.  Connor was the first to speak up after Travis’s initial reaction.  “Did you guys' fuck?”
My face turned beat red. “No, dumbass!  Go away, she’s still asleep.  She just had nightmares last night and didn’t want to be alone.”
“Sureeeeeeee.”  Travis drew out, smirking at me.  “That doesn’t look like you guys are just friends, Lukie.”
I rolled my eyes and pulled {reader} closer, trying to ward off the Stoll's, trying to protect her from waking up at their loud words.  “Go away, please!”
The brothers chuckled and walked out of the room, nudging one another.  I sighed and turned back to {reader}.  She didn’t stir in my arms, surprisingly, after all the commotion.  Holding her there made everything in my life make sense, and at this moment, I believed I had finally found my lifeline, my home. I pressed a kiss into her hair and contented myself with memorizing every freckle on her face.

can you do a daughter of Hermes x sibling!connor and travis still like sibling relationship? she kinda prevents them from doing Too stupid, her and connor have a very special bond but so do travis and her. shes alsooooo dating leo valdez???
this is a cute request, i can absolutely do this, thank you for being so patient!
-------------------------------------
travis and connor are famous for being a little out of control and crazy
what very few people know
is that what they see is the lukewarm version
you are behind the scenes making sure they don't accidentally kill someone
they trust you implicitly
you don't stop them from having fun you just redirect them when necessary
maybe they shouldn't prank the ares cabin the day after they lost the chariot race because they will be out for blood
but the apollo cabin have been a little arrogant lately so go fuck with them
hey you aren't gonna stop them completely
some of their best fuckery has been your ideas
while you have an amazing relationship to both of your brothers together
they will sometimes seek you out individually
connor comes to you when he's feeling a little insecure
maybe a prank went wrong or he thought something would be funny when it wasn't
he just needs you to reassure him that he's okay, you love him
and sometimes that he and travis are two separate people
it's hard to remember sometimes when everyone expects them to be together 24/7
travis will come to you when he needs to be serious
he knows it would be very easy to go to connor but they'd end up off topic and doing something completely unrelated
so he seeks you out to plan a battle strategy or to discuss something serious
he knows he can trust you to keep him on topic and understand him
of course when you start dating leo valdez these two are going to be nightmares
retching noises whenever they see you together
poking fun at you and teasing you about yOuR nEw BoYfRiEnD
at some point it becomes a bit of a prank war between the four of you
they will never try to hurt you or anything but they are not beyond jumpscaring the shit out of you
your brothers are menaces but they love you more than they can ever comprehend and will support you unquestioningly
if you went to the dark side they would follow you without hesitation
-------------------------------------
i hope you enjoyed, thank you for requesting!

⋆ ˚。⋆౨ৎ˚ Your Girlfriend's Hot When She Kicks Ass - I Know
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
content: leo valdez x daughter of poseidon! reader warning: language and mentions of fighting but the author is like so terrible and can’t even describe a fight scene so yall should be fine author's note: by pop song, i mean painfully y2k song, im picturing a fun uptempo beat yall. i can already see the fake edits in my head
as much as she liked to deny it, y/n was a damn good fighter. she’d been doing it so long, it’d quickly began second nature to the daughter of poseidon. not even percy could beat her, the only title she wore with pride. though, the only better swordsman she knew was…luke. she tried not to think about him too much though, like most of camp half-blood. but…the roman demigods were a different breed entirely. they were trained differently, more stiff and solid. it was something that always intrigued her. which is why, whenever jason stayed at camp, they’d have a sword fight. she’d slide their names into the board, registering their spot for the afternoon. whispers and bets would quickly flow through the camp whenever she did that. jason and her were pretty even at this point, jason having won three fights and y/n having won two. leo could tell she was determined to win today from the way she avoided him, something about his face throwing her off as she grabbed an apple before scampering away.
“best friend or girlfriend, who’s gonna win?” travis questioned, presenting a hairbrush to leo like it was a mic as he made his way towards the arena, along with most of the camp.
“no comment,” leo winked back, knowing he couldn’t choose sides. plus, this was just dramatic training for the two, neither of them gave a single shit who was better. they just liked to have fun and this was one of their common denominators.
“ugh, no fun. connor’s got fifty bucks on jason,” travis groaned as the two sat in their front row seats, leo shaking his head at him.
“With?”
“mr. d,” travis shrugged like it was obvious.
the previous match was still finishing up, between clarrisse and one of her siblings, which she was basically throwing around like a ragdoll. leo winced as the poor guy was slammed into the ground, the air visibly leaving his chest. clarisse then dragged him out and towards, surely, the infirmary. Which would be empty, as leo could see will standing near the edge of the area, cupping his mouth and shouting his support of y/n, like he always did. sloppily written on his shirt was ‘team y/n,’ clearly done last minute with a sharpie. leo was gonna have to ask him for one of his own later, as the match was about to begin.
some pop song played over the speakers, y/n and jason laughing as they walked out. y/n raised her hand towards the crowd, waving as she was met with both cheers and friendly boos. jason bumped his shoulder with y/n and said something to her that the crowds couldn’t hear. she laughed more before motion towards the crowd to settle down.
“look at the crowd we’ve brought, jason. you’d think we’re famous or something,” y/n jokes, earning a few laughs. leo brought his hand up to his mouth and whistled, y/n’s eyes turning to him with a glimmer that was only saved for him. she winks at him before turning to jason and adjusting her armor.
“let’s give them what they want, yeah?” jason prompted, a small smile on his face as he nodded towards the crowds. leo couldn’t help but notice that jason always seemed to take on a playful demeanor during these little fights.
“same rules as always, superman?” y/n replied, swinging her sword around as she and jason started to circle each other. the trash talk was about to start, which is what made the two so interesting.
“of course…fish head,” jason tauts, bending at his knees. the two paused, waiting for the bell to ring so they could start.
a few seconds passed before the two straightened up and looked over at the bell, seeing percy struggle with it.
“dude!” the two shouted at him, percy huffing at them.
“it’s harder than it looks!”
“you’re making this anticlimactic!” will shouted from the stands, gaining support easily.
then a dagger smacked into the bell, easily ringing it. all eyes turned to where annabeth was standing from the stands, her hips jutted out.
“i’ve got 15 drachmas on you, y/n!” she called, y/n rolling her eyes before quickly dropping and rolling on the ground before popping back up on one knee, just barely missing jason’s blade.
“you walk like a mountain, grace. sealth is not your expertise,” y/n called, spinning with a swing that slammed against jason’s sword, the two of them basically face to face before jason shoved her off.
“you swing like you’ve got flowers for arms,” jason bit out, the two of them circling the other while they waited for an opportunity to strike. y/n scoffed at him, faking a swing to one side before pulling it back and making a stabbing motion. her sword smashed into his chest plate and he surely would have been sprawled out on his back had he not caught himself with a gust of wind, leaving the boy upright and a few feet away.
“scared, yet?” questioned y/n, straightening up and turning her shoulder towards the roman.
“am i supposed to be?” he replied, oohs and ahhs filling the crowd.
“don’t worry, you will be,” y/n glowered at him before taking the first swing, easily being blocked by jason, which is what she wanted as she shoved her body weight against his, sending them both to the ground. leo jumped out of his seat to get a better view along with everyone else, the adrenaline filling the crowd and they weren’t even fighting.
“you know, you’re girlfriend’s hot when she kicks ass,” travis managed to get out as his eyes were trained on the pair rolling around in the dirt. leo smirked to himself, also keeping his eyes on the two demigods.
“i know.”
“get off me!” jason called like a child, y/n’s hands shoving into his side as they both scrambled around in the dirt. jason shot his hand out, blowing y/n’s weapon out of reach.
“that was low even for you!” y/n called, kicking out with her foot against his shin before shooting up to her feet.
jason reached out with his hand to grasp her ankle but he was then smacked upside the head with a plastic water bottle. y/n shot a smirk over her shoulder at jason, who then threw the water bottle away and chased after her. y/n dove for her sword, rolling out of it as jason swung downward towards her. y/n just barely managed to get her sword upwards, groaning as she pushed against him.
“how’s it going down there, l/n?” jason gasped out, pushing harder.
“it’s pretty relaxing, grace, you should try it out!” y/n called, slamming her foot against his ankle, which caused the boy to lose his shove against her sword, which she then twisted out of his hand. y/n kicked his sword away before slamming backwards against jason, sending him straight to the ground, the blond breathing heavily on the ground. y/n raised the sword to his chin, gasping in breaths. the two stayed like this for a bit before jason got up on his forearms and y/n blinked a few times, like she was coming out of a haze. the crowd was on edge in silence, waiting for the verdict.
“wait- wait, did i just win?” she asked in shock, all the previous venom lost. jason laughed, nodding his head. y/n then scrambled to pull him to his feet, dropping her blade off to the side.
“i can’t celebrate if you’re on the ground,” she told him and then the crowd erupted, both with groans and cheers. there was the exchanging of money and goods, leo proudly taking ten bucks from clarisse, who stomped away.
“dude, i thought you said no comment?! the hypocrisy?!” travis argued in shock and leo looked at the boy as he began to walk away.
“i always bet on blue,” he winked, making his way over to y/n and jason, who were happily talking about the fight they just had.
“i gotta admit, i was scared for a moment there without my sword,” y/n told jason, undoing the straps of her armor and allowing it to fall off.
“oh, come on! after i missed that first swing, i knew i was a goner,” jason replied, waving the girl off as he put his sword away.
“we get it, you’re both amazing!” leo cut in, both of their eyes turning to the boy. y/n pressed a kiss to his cheek, leo’s smile widening.
“i’d say i’m the real winner,” leo started, wrapping his arm around y/n as he gave jason their secret handshake.
“how so?” jason questioned.
“i’ve got both of you on my side, i’ll be surprised if i leave any battle with more than a scratch,” he jokes and they all laugh, y/n cuddling up into leo’s chest. and he couldn’t even find it in him to mind that she was sweaty and her arm cuffs were digging into his side.
“it’s officially a tie, jase, what are we gonna do now?” y/n asks, looking over at the roman boy, who pretended to be deep in thought.
“same time next month?” he replied with a smirk.
“you’re on, sparky!” y/n cheered, taking his hand into hers in a firm shake, both making mental promises that they didn’t need to.
“i’ll bring a stapler next time, put the real fear of gods into you,” y/n tauts with a wink, jason groaning as he follows the pair out of the arena.
“you try to eat a stapler one time,” he huffs and y/n and leo laugh at his tone.
“hey, y/n, lunch on me?” leo prompts, producing a ten from his pocket with a smirk. y/n squints at him suspiciously but nods, knowing how he got that money without having to ask. leo looks over the girl at jason, tilting his head.
“you wanna come, man? i’ll let you pick where,” leo offered but jason shook his head with a smile.
“no, i'm good. have at it, you two,” jason told them, nodding his head as he walked towards his cabin.
he shot a glance over his shoulder at the two, happily laughing and closer than close. his smile seemed unstoppable, as he couldn’t imagine the two without each other. he was glad they found each other and then he was glad he found them.

*ੈ✎ thief! you stole my heart!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
content: leo valdez x hermes! reader
╰┈▸ back cover: percy DID NOT disappear and the seven are still tgt at chb bc i want them to be happy OKAY
╰┈▸ warnings: i said fuck one time
librarian’s annotations: lowk i like the idea of this fic but i feel like my writing was just SO BAD in this one so idk i kinda hate it tbh (maybe i just havent played monopoly in a while 🤔🤔)

you’d heard of leo, obviously; you watched as he crashed into the lake and put a spectacular show of trying to get hephaestus’s sign off the top of his head
what an ABSOLUTE FOOL he looked like, flailing around
you wanted him already (who wouldn’t?)
so obviously you came up with a plan...
—to steal his heart!
a very well-thought out plan, might you add, it had a total of five steps
first, you would make eye contact with him at least once while nyssa was giving him a tour of the camp. easy, right?
step 2, wait for your siblings to befriend him
you say wait, because you can just tell that travis and connor will sneak up on him like hyenas and force him into their antics
(and from his ever mischievous grin, you think he wouldn't mind)
three, be in the same area most, if not every time they converse, cause then he'd start associating them with you
and then he'd be like "omg who is that fine babe"
isn't that how it works?
you think you saw that in a psychology book or something (or maybe you just made it up??)
then, once that happens, you'll force connor to put in a good word for you (or bribe him, whichever works better)
finally (for now) step five; this was the most crucial part

play against him at the weekly game night
you had to show off your amazing game skills (that did not involve stealing, like, what???)
once you win, that'll impress him enough to make him fall in love, right?
it was totally foolproof
last week it was the aphrodite cabin's turn to pick, so this time it's cabin 11's turn. and you knew which game you just had to play.
"guys," you said seriously, laying on your bunk with your hands folded under your chin. "we need to play monopoly tomorrow night."
you were met with groans of "why?" and "that's gonna take forever!"
rightly so, but still!
"shut up, most of you guys don't even have seniority!" you turned to travis and connor, the only two siblings able to boss you around.
"please! it's part of my ingenious plan okay!?" you put your hands together, bowing your head. "i'll do whatever dare you guys want!"
oh you were serious serious. no one in their right head would agree to that. but, they do say love makes you crazy.
gasps echo through the cabin.
"whatever dare, huh?" travis says with a smirk that would make you regret saying that, except for the fact that you were head over heels for leo.
you sucked in a breath and resigned to your fate. "yeah."
"alright then, monopoly it is."
game night started right after dinner, because there was no way you guys could finish monopoly before midnight if you didn't. and even then, it was still a stretch. luckily, chiron was lenient on campers following curfew every friday, knowing how rowdy game nights could get.
though it wasn't summer, there were still a lot of campers, way too much for one board game. so, you were split into groups of eight. and if you and leo were put in the same group? must be a coincidence. (send help, you were practically selling your soul to the stolls)
"y/n, you are not allowed to be the banker." percy declared with a pointed look.
you gaped. why did he have to make your plan harder!? "what!? why not?"
"because we know you're going to steal the money," annabeth sighed, neatly organizing the colored bills.
"wow, okay then." you pouted, though you knew it was true. putting the money on display like that was just tempting you even more.
"i can be the banker," leo piped up from beside you.
frank shot him a skeptical look. "are you sure you're not gonna be stealling?"
"i would never!" leo held up his hands in defense. "please annabeth? i like being banker!"
she placed the 500s in the last slot, relenting. "alright, here." she pushed the tray to his side, which leo took eagerly and passed out the money.
the game started, and you took your lucky hat as usual, sending a silent prayer to tyche for some extra luck.
it began easy enough; you used up some money for property, auctioned the ones you didn't want. as the game got more and more heated (or as heated as a game of monopoly could get), you used the distraction to slip yourself a couple of 100s. they practically threw themselves into your hands! who could blame you?
a full set of orange, with houses all on them. you had a few other property cards here and there, but not enough for another set.
"i don't have enough money.." hazel looked at her measly pile of 10s, 50s, and a single 100 bill. "auction?"
"four hundred." leo bid almost immediately.
"four hundred!?" your jaw dropped. why was he starting so high? you looked down at your pile. your hard-earned (stolen) money wasn't going to last if you bet any more.
"four hundred and one..?"
"four hundred and five!" annabeth bid before leo could.
"five hundred."
"fuck!" you grumbled. defeat was not something you liked tasting.
you swear, you must've fallen asleep while playing. because the next time you looked over at leo, (okay, maybe you lost sight of the goal), he was eating up the rest of the board. you could've sworn he only had park place and the brown cards! you didn't have a backup plan for this!
you watched him goad percy into giving him boardwalk, saying that the shade of blue clashed with his 'vibe.' "i'll trade you all three light blue cards for boardwalk. deal?"
"don't do it percy," annabeth warned, already seeing the gears turning in her boyfriend's head.
"deal." percy swapped with leo, dapping him up as they traded. "pleasure doing business with you."
you looked back to the board. all of the property owned by him was decked with houses, all full sets! was that even mathematically possible? not that you'd know about it.
frank was next to go bankrupt, hazel quitting a half hour ago. she slumped on his shoulder, forcing herself to stay awake so she didn't miss out.
percy threw his single dollar bill on the floor, claiming that it "wasn't fair!" and that he'd give his property to annabeth. which was not a lot, considering she had sweet-talked him into giving her most of it already.
jason was next, but only because he was already half asleep. probably because he was usually in bed by 8:30.
you were still in the game out of sheer will. maybe you didn't have as much brains as annabeth or leo, but you still had some! that, and the fact that you would never live this down if you lost.
"alright, i give in." annabeth put her property cards down with not as much disappointment as you'd expect. you could see a glimmer in her eyes that would most definitely not be there, seeing as how much she hated losing.
she curled up next to percy and watched the two of you play.
now it was just you and leo. did your love for him outweigh your love for winning? you weren't quite sure anymore.
"hah! you landed on my property, so pay up!" you grinned maniacally. (it wasn't that deep tbh)
leo groaned and begrudgingly handed you the rent.
"that's my property!" leo pointed out the next turn.
you looked to the bank, but leo's eyes were set on you. guess you couldn't steal your way out of this one. "are you serious? what if i'm a single mom who works two jobs, who loves my kids and never stops-"
"just say you don't have the money."
"fine!"
four hours of non-stop monopoly. you think you could pass out right then and there, except for the fact that you had to save face in front of your massive crush. your group of eight said sleepy goodbyes to each other, all heading to their respective cabins. leo lingered beside you, or maybe you lingered beside him.
"that the first time you lost?" he broke the silence, hands shoved in his pockets as he turned to face you.
"yeah.." you grumbled. you were usually a pro at monopoly. "how'd you even win?"
"oh, y'know." leo winked. "maybe i stole a few bills here and there."
"i knew it!" you poked him in the side.
"hey!" he swatted your hand away, laughing. "you can't be talking! did you think i couldn't see you stealing?"
"uh, no?" you were being very sneaky about it! most people never even knew when you'd steal something!
"well, i did." he smiled triumphantly.
you crossed your arms. "you had to have been looking real hard if you noticed."
leo matched your pose, dimples showing as he flashed his teeth. "maybe i was."
oh.
"you were? wait i was just-" was he flirting with you? this counted as flirting, right?
he cut you off with a hand in the air. "it's safe to say that you, dear y/n, have officially, stolen my heart." he winked cheekily.
"okay that was kinda cringy-"
"yeah, i know-"
plan failed successfully?

“unexpected”
travis stoll x daughter of ares!reader
summary: travis stoll was the last person you expected to like
warnings: swearing
is it weird that i had a crush on him when i was like ten reading the books?? he was like the most background character ever and i was like this is the one for me
It started with a prank, as most things did with Travis Stoll.
You were minding your own business, polishing your favorite weapon on the stoop of your cabin when all of a sudden something splattered against your face and ran down your shirt.
You heard a chorus of “Oooooh”s as you wiped the white of an egg out of your eye. You looked up to see a group of Hermes kids laughing at the culprit, who seemed a little fearful.
Setting down your weapon, you marched up to him and shoved him in the chest. “You’re fucking dead, Stoll. Watch your back tonight.”
He stood there, stunned. You wanted to punch that stupid look off his face, but you could save it for capture the flag.
You couldn’t stand to see him staring at you like that for another second, so you turned around and left him, slamming the door to your cabin.
After a tumultuous time washing your hair in the sink, you managed to get the egg out, and you were currently working on getting it out of your shirt. You scrubbed away at the fabric, cursing Travis as you did so.
The door swung open. “Listen, I’m sorry about the egg. We were throwing it around and-“ Travis stopped mid-sentence and his cheeks colored when he saw you standing there in your bra.
Your face felt hot. “Get out, perv! Did you get lost on the way to arts and crafts?” you sneered.
“Sorry,” he said, but not taking his eyes off of you.
“Hello? Are we speaking the same language? Get out!”
“Right, sorry,” he said quickly before hurrying out of the cabin.
What kind of idiots threw around an egg for fun? Clearly, idiots who fuck around and find out.
At dinner, you avoided Travis’s glances. You’d never seen him look sorry about a prank before. You didn’t care if he was sorry. He had this coming to him.
“Hermes is going down tonight. I’m gonna wipe the floor with them,” you told your siblings, Clarisse and Mark.
“Would absolutely love to pulverize those sneaky fucks, but I’ve already got plans for the game.” Clarisse grinned wickedly.
You frowned. “And they are?”
“Kicking that newbie’s ass, obviously,” Mark explained.
You rolled your eyes. “You’d rather beat up a twelve year old than help me get revenge?”
Clarisse shrugged. “Hey, this is my revenge. He fucked us over before Travis fucked you over. We can just kill him next week,” she offered.
“I’m not waiting until next week. He’s gonna get his shit rocked today,” you said, stabbing your fork into a helpless piece of steak. “Besides, what if he miraculously gets a quest before next week?”
Mark snorted. “Yeah right, there’s no chance a Hermes kid is ever getting sent on a quest again.”
You didn’t respond, too lost in thoughts of how you were going to take your revenge.
Before the game started, Clarisse was explaining her plan to exterminate Percy to a couple of your siblings.
You were scouting out your position, looking for ways to get Travis alone. He was always with his younger brother during capture the flag.
The conch blew, and the game began. You knew Travis wasn’t going to come to you, so you had to find him yourself.
He and Connor were most likely going to be setting traps in the general vicinity of their flag. You left your station, beckoning a Demeter kid who just lost a sword fight to take your spot.
You searched the woods for anything out of place. You were alone, which was suspicious enough. You knew you had to be close to the flag.
There was a tripwire tied between two trees that you wouldn’t have seen if the light hadn’t caught it the right way. “Gotcha,” you whispered.
You threw a rock at the wire and hid behind a tree. A large net fell from the trees and onto the ground. Travis and Connor came bounding out of the woods to see that they had caught nothing.
“Aw, man. I was hoping an Aphrodite kid would fall in there. What did it? A rabbit?” Connor said, disappointed.
Travis lifted the net and grabbed the rock from below the wire. He looked around to find who threw it, but you were out of his sight. “Connor, go help guard.”
“I hate guarding,” Connor protested.
“I don’t care, go guard,” Travis insisted.
Connor let out a huff and sulked off to where you assumed their flag was.
Travis sighed and stood up, his hand coming to the knife in its holster. “Listen, Y/n, I know you’re angry, but let’s just put this behind us, alright? I’m gonna put this knife down, and I’m going to go back to minding my own business.”
Travis tossed his knife to the ground, and before he could follow Connor’s path, you jumped out from behind the tree and rushed forward, tackling him to the ground.
“You think you can get off without a fight? Why would I let you mind your business when you didn’t let me mind my own?” you said angrily, straddling his waist and pressing your forearm into his chest so he couldn’t get away.
“I said I was sorry!” he said, putting his hands up in surrender, his eyes blown wide.
You suddenly felt embarrassed by the close contact you were holding. Against your better judgment, you loosened up the pressure on his chest slightly. Travis saw your hesitation to murder him and took advantage of it. He reached out to grab his knife and flipped you over so that you were now the one on your back.
The breath was knocked out of you as you landed on the dirt. Your helmet had fallen off. You raised your weapon pointlessly. He knocked it out of your hand and held his knife toward your throat.
“Nice try, but you’re a little sloppy,” he said, grinning as you stared at him with an expression that was similar to the one he wore just a second ago. You hated the way your face was heating up, and you prayed to all the gods that he couldn’t tell how embarrassed this made you.
The conch sounded, signaling the end of the game. Travis stood up, holding his hand out to help you up. You pushed it away and got up yourself, grabbing ahold of your cascaded weapon.
“Looks like I won,” Travis said, noting the cheering campers with blue plumes, who were now almost flooding the clearing. “Better get these traps cleaned up.”
He sent you one last grin and hurried off to rescue a young camper who just got splattered with paint. You were honestly baffled. No one had ever bested you before.
You touched your cheek, hating the heat that radiated from it. You didn’t know who stole your flag, and you barely paid any attention to the other team that was running right past you. Travis embarrassed you, but there was a part of you that was impressed by him too.
When you returned to the cabin, it seemed that Clarisse had been embarrassed too. She was sitting on her bunk, holding her broken spear, and she looked so mad that she might cry.
You figured it was a bad time to debrief the game, so you slumped over on your bunk and took off your boots and armor.
A few weeks after the loss of capture the flag, you noticed that you had been looking at Travis in a different light.
What he did wasn’t some magical feat or anything, and you knew he only managed to do it because you let your guard down, but you couldn’t help but feel like there was something about him that made you let your guard down.
He’d never been your friend, but now he started stopping by your cabin to see if you were around, sitting next to you at campfire, and partnering up with you during activities.
After dinner one night, you and Clarisse were at the archery range, which was an unofficial tradition of yours when you needed to catch up. Normally you could compete with an Apollo kid, but today you were off your game.
Clarisse eyed you after your arrow missed the target by a long shot. “What’s up with you? You’ve been kind of weird lately. Never around.”
You set down your bow, sighing as you shamefully retrieved the arrow from a pile of dirt behind the target. “Has anyone ever beat you because you let your guard down?”
Clarisse looked at the ground. “Once, by Chris,” she confessed. “But I never let it happen again.”
You nodded, knowing full well that she wears the pants in that relationship.
“Why?” she asked. “Did it happen to you?”
You bit the inside of your cheek, twirling your arrow in between your fingers as you decided how to go about this. “Yeah, during capture the flag a few weeks ago.”
“Who?”
“Travis.”
Clarisse’s lips twitched up in a smirk. “How?”
You felt embarrassed under her gaze, looking down at your feet as they drew circles in the dirt. “I tackled him and he flipped me over and pinned me down.”
Clarisse whistled. “Sounds hot.”
You glared at her. “It wasn’t hot! It was embarrassing.”
“So now you like him?”
You look at her, perplexed. “Who said anything about that?”
She smiled, grabbing an arrow to place on her bow. “It’s an Ares kid curse. You let your guard down, you fall in love, as disgusting as that is. You gotta watch out for those Hermes kids.” She shot the arrow, and it hit the center of the target.
You rolled your eyes. “I’m not gonna fall in love.”
“Sure you won’t, and I’ll just pretend that you didn’t miss every target today and that I don’t see you with Travis 24/7.”
She had a good point. “You just basically admitted that you’re in love with Chris,” you countered, feeling satisfied when she gave you a wide eyed look.
“No, I didn’t.”
“You sure did.”
“Shut up.”
“You shut up.”
“Let’s just go,” Clarisse said, packing up her stuff.
“You go ahead. I’ll stay behind for a bit.”
Clarisse nodded and left you alone with your thoughts. You figured there was no use in trying your luck with the bow again, so you stored it away in the archery shed.
You sat on the bench outside, staring at the target you couldn’t hit. You were out of it because you were thinking too hard about this Travis thing.
Clarisse was right, you did like him. He was charming, and funny, and downright criminal. He was easy to let your guard down around.
Your father would probably be so disappointed in you right now, but he couldn’t really talk, as he was dating the goddess of love.
The door to the Hermes cabin opened, and Travis walked out, careful to shut it quietly behind him. He looked around to make sure nobody was there and spotted you.
Curious, you stood up and met him at the edge of the range. “What’s with the backpack?” you asked.
He pulled off his hood. “Thanks for blowing my cover. I’m headed out into town.”
“Mind sticking around for a bit?”
Travis caught the nervous look in your eye. “Sure thing.” A sharp harpy cry sounded from the other side of camp. “Let’s go somewhere more private,” he suggested, leading you into the arts and crafts room.
You took down one of the benches and he took a seat next to you. “Anything you need?” he asked.
You looked down to the floor. “Yeah, I need to talk to you.”
“Are you upset?” he prompted, reaching out to play with a piece of your hair.
“No, I just don’t really know how to say it,” you admitted, looking back up to his blue eyes.
He was looking at you with so much patience, something you’ve never really had. You took a deep breath in. “You make me let my guard down.”
He looked confused. “What?”
“Travis, I-“ you fumbled for the right words. “I don’t know what it is about you, but I just let my guard down around you.”
He was grinning now, and he slid closer to you on the bench. “So you like me?”
You rolled your eyes when he put his arm around you, but, inside, you felt like you were on fire. “Don’t make this hard.”
“I’m not. I like you. You don’t have to say it back or anything. I think it’s cute that you let your guard down for me.” He brushed a hair out of your face.
You wanted to push him away from you, but his eyes kept you from doing it. You didn’t say it back, but you were sure that he knew what you meant when you leaned forward to kiss him.
He kissed you back, weaving his hand through your hair. You messed with his curls in return, and he smiled against your lips. “Now I can say you made the first move.”
Now you really pushed him away. “Nobody gets told about this.”
“Aw, why not? Don’t want anyone to know how soft you are?” he teased, rubbing his thumb along your arm.
You shoved his hand away. “Be quiet.”
“Do you want to sneak out and steal some shit from the store down the road?” he offered, taking your hand in his. You didn’t let go this time.
“Sounds right up my alley.”

Conner Stoll Headcanons
»»————- ★ ————-««
-He sometimes forgets Travis isn’t really his twin.
-As do most people that know them.
-He’s so sick of the jokes about his last name he and Travis just pretend to not understand anymore.
-The poison sprayed T-shirt given to the Hunter Phoebe, stopping her from going on the quest to save Annabeth wasn’t just a prank on the stern girl. It was on purpose, so that Percy could go instead, but no one really realized that.
-Once he moved to New York years after the books ended, he rented a flat with a smashed in window and a leaky bathtub. He had to live off one dollar pizza slices for about a year [he loved them] until he saved up and stole enough to afford a better flat with three bedrooms. One was for him, one was for Cecil, and one was for Katie when she visited with Travis. He has a bunk bed that he shares with Travis, but he makes his brother sleep on the top bunk like they did at CHB.
-Unknown to him, Travis’s room at Camp Jupiter has a bunk bed too, and he sleeps on the top every night. He’s studying Law.
-Once Conner was able to pay rent by the deadlines and had steady shifts at work [and once his diet had gotten a bit better, although pizza slice Friday is a ritual] Chiron finally let Cecil move in.
-It was only really because Cecil wanted to go to highschool properly, and finish it this time instead of being chased from the year ten open day by feral harpy’s. He works at Starbucks part time and Conner drives him to every shift and then Iris messages CHB and talks to his friends in his car while he waits for Cecil to finish.
-He’s actually really disappointed when Cecil buys a motorbike and doesn’t need lifts to Starbucks anymore, but then his little brother needs someone to pick him up because he crashed into a phone box and he’s back to annoyed chauffeurTM again.
-He owns the shittiest car ever, like, one of those falling apart pickup trucks with fluffy dice and he actually keeps it pretty clean because he’s so proud of it. He calls it ‘Mater’, from the movie Cars, because it’s Cecil’s favorite movie. It’s also covered in bumper stickers. Like, nearly every part of it, and people just hand them to him sometimes to fill in a gap.
-He joined the local track team, and he’s actually pretty good.
-His guilty pleasure is Taylor Swift’s 1989 album and eating peanut butter MnM’s by the bag even though he hates real MnM’s.
-He never really wanted to go to University, and the strictness of Camp Jupiter would’ve killed him, so he got a job at the lolly store Sally used to work at, but was fired when he let too many little kids shoplift.
-Now he’s working at a backpackers lodge instead, and he actually really likes meeting all the traveling people that come through, even though he knows it’s because of his dad. His relationship with Hermes is questionable, mainly because of Luke.
-He loved his brother but after the Titan war and all the shame put on their cabin he hated Luke with a passion, as did most of his siblings, even if they sort of did understand why he did it all anyway. Conner wouldn’t have joined the Titan Army, but he knows that if the majority of Camp Halfblood was to stage something like that again he probably would. He’s loyal to his siblings and friends, not the gods.
-Chris Rodriguez agrees on that part. They’ve talked about it a lot.
-Chris stayed over on the fold out couch enough for him to get a toothbrush in the bathroom and his favorite cereal in the pantry, which is weet-bix bites with honey and blueberries [if someone went to the shops for something other than pink monster energy drinks and grain waves]. He stills lives at Camp Half-blood with Clarrise most of the time and he’s going to University online but has to come in once or twice a week for tests and practical classes. He wanted to be a paramedic but he knew that would be too much stress on him and so would being a therapist.
-Chris is studying nursing and catches a ride with Pollux [who is studying to be a paramedic] sometimes.
-Then Pollux began staying over sometimes as well.
-And of course there were times when Clarrise would come into the city with her boyfriend to find late night underground fight clubs and visit Coach Hedge [he was the satyr that brought her to CHB].
-Six months pass and Conner’s apartment is a mini Camp Halfblood stop by.
-This is confirmed when Lou Ellen bursts in at three am with a hellhound on her heels and the app Malcom Pace had invented that directed demigods to nearby safe havens when they were in danger.                                                                                                               She explained that his flat had come up and she needed to talk to Austin [who was sleeping on the couch] about how somebody from his cabin had stolen her voodoo doll of Will that they liked to tickle while he was stitching someone up in the Infirmary.
-He’s accepted it now but sometimes when a random kid shows up covered in blood he sends them to Sally’s apartment [she’s on the app as well]. There’s only so many blow up mattresses and showers long enough to scrub monster grit off a twenty something year old can afford.
-He gets promoted at the traveler’s lodge, and ends up sending a lot of demigods, nymphs, and satyrs there as well.
-Chris’s nursing skills help out a lot more than they were hoping.
-So does having Pollux the paramedic on speed dial.
-He pirates anything he watches, and his favorites are The Last Of Us and Ferris Bueller's day off. He is obligated to watch Cars at least once a week with Cecil, but his favorite Disney movie is The BFG [it used to be the Lion King but then Luke happened and it hit too far home].
-He also really liked watching The Hunger Games but then he realized what it reminded him of and now he steers clear.
-That, and the fact the Castor and Pollux trope is used.
-Conner hates musicals.

depending on what you request it may be out of my comfort zone to do.
 to request:
explain your request as much as you like (i.e. Nervous Jason Grace X son of apollo reader, fluffy picnic date) just a basic gist of what you want it to be about or you can go in depth if you want specific things to happen.
