So... I bought my Chop Top wig already. But the one I got was a little longer bc I was all scared like

ooh what if I look stupid or bad with short hair

So I'm like ok fem!Chop Top costume then. Sure.

But then I wore it and I'm like.... hm. It's cute but... idk.

So I took the plunge and also bought a short sonny bono style wig.

I'm gonna see if I look awful but I want to give his actual design a fighting chance.

I'll return the one that looks worse imo.

I'm never gonna look exactly like him I mean I certainly don't have his piercing blue eyes and handsome features but I can try to look as similar as I can. Hopefully. Fingers crossed I look ok enough.

#My husband is going to be so startled by my appearance bc he already thinks Chop Top has a freaky af appearance and here i am imitating it #I got the teef too on the way. But when i get the wig in ill go ahead and do a makeup test at least.#I think the teeth will be a bit later so i will just imagine what they might look like idk #One day in the future I hope to meet Bill Moseley in costume and get a photo that's the dream #Oh!! fuckin also!! I forgot two of my husband's friends bought tickets for the convention too and aren't going in costume #My husband is going as Leatherface and I'm obviously going as Chop Top and we are gonna be absolutely insane looking #I have no idea what these friends will think. They might avoid us. Maybe specifically me lmao

It’s a bit messy, but I’m finally adding some more to the Ghostalia au with some doodles of Lady Kirkland!

There’s really not much I needed to change between the characters, being from the same countries etc. I gave her 1910′s style glasses and changed her hair to be more remeniscent of nyo!England’s original design while also being in keeping of the era. Also made her gay for the character who her mother references was getting married in He Came! because I can (and I gave her non-existant role to Elizaveta) :)

was by far the youngest person at the doctor who cosplayers meetup today but i got to chat with a lot of folks who were very excited that someone my age was into the old stuff so it was cool

#i will post photos but i've gotta wait till the photographer posts them first #i'll probably only pick the best couple cause i have. one pose #made friends with a guy who was specifically a war games/cia time lord it was too perfect #i did get offered a jelly baby but it wasn't one of the fours. the same guy also had custard creams and jammy dodgers #ended up putting the latter in my pocket in true two fashion cause i didn't have time to eat all of them before we started doing pictures #it was so fun! i really hope i haven't moved on from this hyperfixation this time next year cause i'd love to meet up with that group again #apologies for rambling in the tags it's 1am and i've got the convention brain scramblies #dw #my posts

A bg3 cosplayer was rude to me at the convention I was at in August and I was upset not only because someone was rude to me but because GALE was mean to me

#s.txt #i was like ;_;..... gale wouldnt do that....#they had a cat in one of those kitty travel backpacks snd the door was open #so i quickly ran up like oh excuse me! your flap is open! :0 #and they were like Oh im aware. its so he can look around.#which. maybe not a good idea in a busy mall food court. given the backpack already has a bubble for the cat to Look #but okay.#so i was just like oh okay! and left it there #and as they turned away they scoffed and were like ugh Jesus... under their breath and i was like ;_;#LIKE SORRY FOR BEING WORRIED UR KITTY WAS GONNA ESCAPE IN A FOOD COURT #also L cat owner using your cat as a prop to bring to a busy convention and food court #animals are cute for a photo at home not BRINGING to a huge area thats loud and full of people #my friend saw them with the cat out at one of the tables too so uh. just iresponsible i think.#gale would never <3 he would be niceys to me and is a good pet owner

something i’ve been thinking about lately is like. growing up muslim right after 9/11 is something i’d never really reflected on much because it was all i’d ever known — at 5, my friend’s mum didn’t let her invite me to her birthday party because i was the only brown girl in our class, at 12, my classmates would joke about my family being part of isis, at 16, my dad was interrogated by american airport security for hours — and it always stung and it always hurt but it was just the way things were because the western world hated muslims. but i don’t think i’ve ever fully comprehended the extent to which we were hated until now.

palestine is being turned into a mass graveyard. every single day there are new photos of the atrocities being carried out against them and videos of them pleading for help and still those who can actually intervene turn a blind eye. israel is claiming to only be targeting hamas “terrorists” while bombing a refugee camp. israeli police raided and assaulted a non-zionist jewish neighbourhood. israeli soldiers are posting tiktoks of them torturing captured palestinians. this is not a complicated issue and it never has been. ethnic cleansing is being committed right in front of us. and yet the western world leaders refuse to call for a ceasefire.

and while zionist organisations accuse pro-palestine demonstrations of anti-semitism, while zionist celebrities insist that they’re afraid to leave their mansions in los angeles, a six year old muslim boy was stabbed to death and his mother wounded in the same attack in chicago. a muslim doctor was murdered while sitting outside her apartment complex in texas. hundreds of peaceful protesters have been arrested (many of whom have been jewish). despite what zionists want you to believe, this is not a jewish/muslim conflict. i have so much love and gratitude to my brave jewish brothers and sisters all over the world who are condemning israel for their actions.

ultimately, israel have been granted impunity by the west. they have slaughtered thousands upon thousands of innocent palestinians. they have bombed hospitals and schools indiscriminately. they have used white phosphorus, violating the geneva convention. they have completely eradicated nearly 900 bloodlines. how many more need to be wiped out? how many more children need to be buried underneath the rubble? how many more doctors need to be confronted with the bodies of their own family members? how many more journalists need to detail the horrific acts of violence they are witnessing? what more can be done to the palestinian people that has not been done already?

i truly believe that palestine will be free one day. i believe the palestinian people will receive the justice they finally deserve. but what breaks my heart is how much they have suffered and will continue to suffer before they are deemed worthy of help. and it would be to all of our detriment if we ignored how much of a factor palestine being a predominantly muslim state has played into the way the world has reacted to their genocide.

I had a BLAST in Anime Friends last weekend! I met voice actors, took lots of pictures with cosplayers, and of course, kissed many Sukunas!

Oh, this bearded guy here is Sukuna's Brailian VA Francisco Junior, he's such a sweetheart! We'd meet again later for the Jujutsu Meet and Greet, and it was just as amazing!
