waoh boy I love to sleep in my bed in my bedroom with my husband and just simply not actually sleep even a little bit because my body is hurts

#cool and good! neat and fun #I started sleeping in the guest room to see if the old bed would be better #but it's been so long that at this point it was just habit and continually forgetting to clear a bunch of my laundry off my side of the bed #I thought!! maybe!! it would be fine!! maybe with a body pillow and with my pillow not overstuffed and with better sleep position...!#AND LIKE. I'd put up with Aches tbqh. but I can't FALL asleep so I'm just simply fucked #and justin snores which okay was always a problem for me but now also I am a couple of months used to not hearing it #so I CANNOT fall asleep because Sounds and then also that keeps me up long enough that MY BODY. IS HURTS. and then I REALLY can't sleep #and it's FRUSTRATING it's WEIRD it's not like the bed feels immediately uncomfortable to lay in #and like I end up with pain in my foot and I start to notice it when I'm not even laying ON that same hip #and other things like that where like. I can't even tell what exactly the problem even IS #the discomfort is all too weird and displaced around my body to draw any obvious conclusions about its source #and I swear I'm sleeping in the same positions as I do in the other bed! and trying to angle my weight off my hips!#I'm a side sleeper in theory but in practice I've become more of a belly sleeper because of the way I end up tilting my hips and shoulders #we have a king sized bed! it's not like I'm trying to squeeze into a smaller space even!!#AUUGHH. IT'S NOT FAIR. I DON'T WANNA BE A SEPARATE BEDROOMS COUPLE IT BUMS ME OUT SO BAD I WANNA CUDDLE MY BOY #I just don't know what else to do #HE sleeps better and more pain free in this bed than any other bed he's been in since we started dated (including at other houses etc)#so it's not as simple as 'get a new bed' either :')#about me

Hey remember when i bound the first half of from the archives? well i've finally done the rest! and honestly i am so proud of it. i tried some new things with the binding, and i am almost completely happy with how it turned out! the only improvement for next time would probably be actually measuring things.

thank you @sixteenth-days for writing something so good i needed to physically bite it.

#my art #boruto naruto next generations #sarada uchiha #shikadai nara #inojin yamanaka #in no particular order except sarada is my fav- i think she shouldve been main focus- girl brings all of og team 7 together at all times #just her family history alone is very interesting and i WISH we had seen a convo with sausage boi about her uncle and just everything #but shes a pretty solid character on her own- VERY good mix of both parents yet still being her own self #shikadai is funny i really like seeing him- hes a sight for sore eyes- bro got EVERYTHING from his dad minus his eyes and maybe hair #his dynamic with boruto being besties is really fun to watch- sarada too- with both shika and sara being geniuses and all #i love inojin's simplicity and how ordinary he is.... its... realistic?#hes artistically talented yes with his ninja art stuff but everything else hes kinda... mundane? at times even bad?#Considering every other prev gen child's got all these cool stuff goin on- i like that hes just... kinda normal... i like that about him #boruto i actually do like as well- he'd make a GREAT support character- i love how big bro he is and how he wants to stand up for others #hes a lot like naruto in that way- and might be a hot topic to say this but i also like how - in his very first arc- boruto hates the hokag #not his dad but internalized that the job took his dad away from him- regardless on criticism i think that concept is really neat #i am not well versed in what the story is now for boruto- ive just kinda picked my snacks on what i wanna watch lmao #but i do wish there was more showings of slice of life for all the kids- cuz they are all really interesting- especially for prev gen's kid #>>wished they did timetravel arc with sarada so we coulda seen young sasuke & sakura interact with boruto and sarada T_T #one last note: borusara is very interesting- but i actually prefer them just being friends- at most friends with crushes on eachother #i do think its cute but i like the dynamic of it being unrequited idk its new for me i just prefer them as friends with crushes lmao #prob cuz they work as characters independently Im not really interested in ANY of the new gen hookin up- borusara is the most interesting #i mean it IS the ONLY one being pushed canonically but i like it- that boruto looks out for sarada and sarada worries for boruto #but ya i wish boruto was like mitsuki in being a side character - i think a LOT more people will find him less annoying that way #though- i REALLY want more sarada and sasuke dynamics being shown- actually the uchiha fam a TON more than what we got #they are just SUPER interesting to me lmao #im a sucker for the emo boy turns soft and has family and bonds with their kids- its one of my favourite things in media #i feel like scraping the ocean floor when im trying to find quality sasuke and sarada art pieces and story stuff #cuz ive exhausted all the content in these past what 2-3 years of knowing both boruto- and now more recently - naruto #(yes im one of those people who knew boruto before naruto- smite me)

8. Biggest Accomplishment?

This is a hard one since I don't do any savages or extremes or any of the "hard" endgame content people usually say as their big accomplisments haha. So I guess uhh, idk, getting all jobs to 90 during EW? (six to go till all jobs at 100) Or that 5000th commendation I got last month? Figuring out how to do old content (and maps) with just the 3 of us? Still playing this game after 5 years?

14. Favorite Raid?

Alliance one? One of the Nier raids, probably Copied. Ridorana, Orbonne and Aglaia are good too, but there's just something that sparks joy whenever I see Nier raids come up in roulette.

8-man ones? Uhhh..... Pandae 9 (Kokytos) or 11 (Themis)? P4 (Hesperos), 6 (Hegemone) and 7 (tree) were nice too, and I kinda still like getting Eden Titan on rouls.

20. Favorite Limit Break?

Hmm, summoner one is very neat! Not that you get to use it that often, but it's fun to finally become Bahamut.

Fav tank one is drk, melee on is ninja (*angrily does really fast hand signs at you*), ranged is bard (its the bow at the end) and healer is whm. Almost all of them are good tho, only ones I'm meh about are the more "boring", non flashy ones (pld, mnk, sam)

I love learning ASL it’s so good. Makes me happy to learn it. I’m so glad my university has classes for it with professors actually steeped in Deaf culture.

#blue chatter #am I good at ASL? hahahahahahaha. no.#ASL and English grammar are incredibly different and even when I remember my vocab I am easily clockable as hearing #but I do have some language capacity now. enough to communicate the basics.#and I just. genuinely really enjoy it. it’s fun to learn and engaging in a way most of my classes just aren’t.#and I can. yanno. communicate respectfully w Deaf ppl. and learn about their culture #which is incredibly important given that I want to go into a field where there is a higher incidence than typical of Deaf people #autistic? you’re more likely to be Deaf!#not to mention the fact that sign language can sometimes be a useful alternative to speech for nonspeaking/nonverbal people #depending on the person obvi; some nonspeaking/nonverbal autistics cannot use sign language and that’s okay #but surely at some point I will encounter either a Deaf client or a nonspeaking/nonverbal client who uses ASL #and when that time comes I should have some idea of how to communicate with them #I also rly like the Deaf church by my parents’ house #their community is really welcoming and their services are really interesting #I think it’s rly cool how they take intentions directly from the congregation #they’ll raise their hands and then sign what their intention is from their pew to the ambo #which is rly neat #it is funny bc every time I go the Deaf ppl I talk to will tell each other ‘go slow she’s hearing’#which is ENTIRELY fair bc. I am hearing. and I do need them to go slower.#but it also makes me laugh bc truly everyone knows within a few minutes.#oh hey the new person? they’re hearing. yeah they’re learning ASL at college. sign slowly for her.#which again makes sense bc a big Deaf culture thing is keeping ppl informed. it’s not gossip it’s getting everyone on the same page.#Deaf ppl do NOT beat around the bush that is like the height of rudeness to them. u say what u mean goshdangit. do not waste their time.#which I appreciate the heck out of bc i don’t have to try and phrase things delicately or w/e #it was also funny bc my mom came w me while I was home for Christmas and they asked her if I was her kid #and she said yes. and the lady running the kid’s craft corner thing was like ‘great you’re doing a craft now’#and I’m sitting there. visibly over 18 years old. amongst several seven year olds. trying desperately to figure out how to say hot glue gun #I made a v pretty pinecone tree it was a lot of fun ^-^

Okay, so, real talk, I did not actually like everything in this book, but I still fucked with it SO HARD. Like, honestly, I picked up what this was putting down (a little heavy-handedly, but done so well imho???) and the WAY IT WAS WRITTEN????

Like, I did a course on the Aeneid. And obviously it was a Roman mythos, not Greek, but DAMN, CLAIRE NORTH. I could see my translations!!! Written in the vernacular of english!!! RiGHT THERE IN THE TEXXT!!!! I GOT SO FREAKING EXCITED!!! It's just, such little things. The phrasing of a certain line. The odd usage of certain similes or metaphors that go off about people or places. The strange diversions to explain events or people right in the middle of the text before jumping straight back into the story. IT WAS SO VERGIL GUYS I SWEAR.

(i haven't had to translate the greek myths sorry guys and I read the odyssey so many years ago in english many apologies am working off what I got)

And, like, as I said, it was very heavy-handed as it backhanded the greek poets for ignoring the women but, like, she was right??? It was insane guys. It was absolutely insane. And everyone was so nuanced and had personalities and hopes and dreams and backstories and at points I was worried she was going to sacrifice the guys to further the women??? Which, like, I understand the irony, and obv couldn't super fault her for it, but she ended up balancing everyone out so well??? Like the guys were in the background instead but they were still all unique and had different priorities and shit.

Just, this whole book was such a breath of fresh air. Damn.

#as a believer in odypen tho I am a little concerned with how the trilogy is gonna go #but i dont think i can blame her #and honestly i'm not a hundred percent sure if its bc it was thru hera's eyes and if there was a biased narrator #WHICH IS SUPER COOL IN AND OF ITSELF #and obv as a major pjo reader I was eyeing hera with hella suspicion #but obviously this is someone else's interpretation of hera and i honestly kinda fucked with her #like i didn't super like her all the time but she was a damn good narrator #like i didn't like clytemnestra a whoooole bunch like hera but also yeah i could absolutely respect her #like shit this book SLAPPED #I still get so fucking excited about the actual writing itself #it was such a cool blend of classical-writing and just straight up british slang it was so much fun to read fr fr #would recommend if you like feminist books and/or classic greek retellings #i'd have to research to see if any of the things happened in the background of the odyssey or some shit #but overall its a really neat read i think #just yelling into the void #ithaca #ithaca by claire north #meme time #hera #the odyssey

i do think that the episode blog is beneficial to read for behind the scenes info mainly, like how they chose to include parallels or going over art direction. i don't think it's necessary for viewing but i do think it adds something to read about the care that goes into creating and the thought processes. the show itself is targeted to younger viewers than previous sentai so some things are going to be more subtle than they would be in some other sentai, not in a way in which you wouldn't pick up on them but you might want confirmation. something like this would be them saying that taiya's teacher went away in the show, but the episode blog explains that this is for the sake of not making things too heavy for younger viewers and keeping it vague to allow children in different circumstances to perhaps relate to losing someone outside of death, death however is what was what was conveyed in that instance.

#i think it's a good thing that the episode blogs do provide extra to the experience bc i think materials that aren't mandatory should have #value to them and i think behind the scenes things are really interesting like the interviews and blogs are just so nice to have #it reminds me of when i was a kid and shows like icarly or degrassi had webpages for characters and their own blogs which was neat in its #own way like it's not mandatory but those types of things did add to the story and gave more insight into the characters and their feelings #mainly thinking of the degrassi pages which characters would write about situations on the show and their feelings #i didn't watch the show while it aired but i did watch it all and some of it has been archived and it's cool to look through it #episode blogs are fun and nice and have been around for a long time and have always been informative and a nice little bonus #grateful to have them and grateful to those who have archived a good amount of them #umbrella.thoughts #umbrella.posts #boonboomger lb #super sentai lb

#swtor #i have NEVER played a video game with a stranger before. it scares me. i don't understand how that social interaction works #but i felt so bad and awkward and like i couldn't say no #but it turned out fine!! we jumped at each other and did a few quests #and then i said i had to get off cause it was late and thanks for playing with me #idk if they saw it cause they didn't say anything back but hopefully they didn't think i just abandoned them like a dick #but now i'm like what if i met someone on swtor and we started playing together and never really talked much #but we played together for months and then we started messaging a little bit while playing like good job! and let's do this quest!#and do you want to do this heroic? and stuff like that and it morphed into a little more talking and eventually exchanging contact info #and then we fell in love? and we played video games together and did star wars cosplay together and idk what they would do for a job #(but i'm sure it would be neat and cool!!) and we could support each others dreams and shit and we could meet irl and kiss #and we could have a star wars rp and watch shows together and lots of other stuff #(ignore most of that is about star wars. i am obsessed currently i can't help it)#it would be cute and fun and i would like it and people would be like how did you meet?? and i could say star wars mmo lol

I got myself a micro four thirds camera recently and I've just sat down to look at my pictures and realized that my pc does not have an sd port 🧍🧍🧍.... LMAO

#I would love to upgrade my desktop because I cannot stand this shit but alas I will just have to get an external one for now #but I WILL be mad about it sdfkjhsdfkjh #in other news though my camera is really neat and it is so fun having a proper camera of my own #I bought it all used for a good price too and everything works like new #I bought two lenses #one of them being a macro lens and it is so fucking cool #yharnams monologues
