Trevowhan House - Morvah  

A beautiful Cornish granite house surrounded by stunning scenery, great pubs, the best open-top bus ride money can buy and near the wonderful St Ives. 

My top thoughts about this house were:

1. Sea view from every window (and bed!)

2. Complete peace and quiet

3. One of the top cottages for a sunset view out of the bedroom window (end of the earth after all!)

The Morvah/Zennor road is one of my favourite roads in the country. It blows you away and has two of my favourite pubs on it...The Gurnard’s Head and Tinners Arms. My husband is a keen cyclist and he did some fantastic rides around the area (not for the faint hearted!)

With our 3 year old daughter we went to see the mines at Levant (NT), visited the local beaches, also Trengwainton (NT) is nearby, along with St Michaels Mount and Marazion which has a playpark and lots to do.  

Thoroughly recommend (note: wifi patchy so not great for freelancers!).

I think this is a great shot of Evie and I walking together across the causeway to St Michaels Mount down in Cornwall. It's the last full day of our holiday today. It's raining but that's okay. Good morning my lovelies, I’m down at the seaside for a week. So I thought I’d start the week off by paying homage to the queen on seaside entertainment, Miss Danny La Rue. I may be mistaken but Danny never flight of himself as a drag queen, but more of a female impersonator. However he identified himself as I thought he was marvellous.
