I don’t understand how you could, as a non-Asian person, appreciate asian culture in your everyday life, be it listening to their music, enjoying their food or watching anime.. and then sit silent as they are brutally beaten, assaulted, harassed, discriminated against and murdered right in front of you. SPEAK UP! HELP THEM! How can you live with yourself if you do nothing. They have done nothing to deserve this. They have nothing to do with corona virus and killing people of Asian descent, some of whom haven’t seen Asia in generations, will not make the virus go away, nor lessen its effect!

Got in a fight today. Corona be having people jumpy.

I walked out of my house, down the same path, through the parking lot, like I have for two years and my newish neighbor stormed out yelling.

I had always walked through between the cars in the lot to get to mine and today two cars were angle that each other so I can't really get out through that path. So I moved to the path between the apartment wall and the crooked car. There were lawn chairs all up and in that little path so I moved one to the side to get through.

When I did Renata ran out and was flaring her arms like "Karen." She told me I wasn't allowed to walk between her cars or move her chair.

I was like, girl, I have been here walking this path for longer than you have been parking here. We all pay rent and have access to the lot and you shouldn't have your stuff out all over the place.

She had the nerve to tell me to walk around the whole building or park somewhere else. We have assigned spots, and I specifically got this spot because my last spot, a tree branch fell through my rear window and a snow plow damaged the back of my car is it pressed snow around it.

I also have a bad ankle and it was re-injured as I was going down the stairs of the apartment buildings. And this path is the best way for me to get inside giving I have to walk around the building, and now she wants me to walk around building even further.

That's fine for summer but during winter that's not okay I could refracture my ankle and have to be in a knee-cart again for 6 to 12 months like I was last time.

As I walked passed her and got into my car where I was headed originally so I can get to work on time, she was yelling things about tacs underneath tires. the hell was sounded like a threat but I was already halfway in the car so I don't know.

I told my landlord about it, and he told me that when she moved in he agreed that she could have those three parking spots for her kids to play in and he didn't tell us.

He still hasn't told me if I now have to walk a block in the dark each night, so that she can have a place to sit her chairs, or not.

All I know is now I got a document everything, take pictures, I try to avoid her - while still living my life.

I know Corona is having people so testy. everybody is rude to each other on the streets nobody smiles and grocery stores now that you can see them behind the masks but you can tell by their attitudes but they're not smiling. every just looking for a fight or a reason to be angry.

And I get it you got your own shit going on in your life. She could have had someone in the past injure her car or something. Perhaps she's just tired of being stuck in the house with all the for kids. Regardless, I don't like to be told what to do.

My natural response to being told what to do is to do the opposite. and I'm really fighting myself on wanting to be spiteful toward her. Like in my mind it's really easy to create some fun little revenge tactics. for instance it did cross my mind that my window is right above her car and I could just throw s*** out at her car and be like "oops weather."

but even now my stomach is telling me the being aggressive towards her isn't the right thing and that I should just keep my mouth shut and go about my business and let the landlord deal with it. however ever since this woman has moved in she has been causing problems even the landlord said that he's having to Shell out extra money to do special things for her.

If I'm not allowed to walk between a car to get to my door without being verbally assaulted and threatened, and I have to walk around the place in the dark and possible ice, because Illinois is horrible for its Winters, imma just have to move earlier than I wanted.

I'm not someone that likes to stay in a bad situation for a long period of time. However I had hoped to save up money which is why I'm working so damn hard, so I can take me and my mom out of the Midwest and back to the West coast. I wanted to stay up so I can move at the end of next year or possibly the following year after that I don't really want to spend money on having to move to a new location but I'm not about to play with this lady forever.

There's only so much nice that I play before my spiteful side comes out and all hell breaks loose.

He’s not FULLY green but its a FUCKING FAIR SIGHT BETTER THAN TRUMP.

Kamala (oh man Kamala arrested my grandauntie herself! Kamala put trans women in mens prisons) okay but SINCE she was a prosecutor SINCE THEN she’s changed her tune on that realizing that those policies were corrupt and unjust and HAS SINCE fought for womens and yes trans womens rights. She fights to protected Planned Parenthood. She’s educated has done a lot to protect California AS A WHOLE and if something happened to Biden would be our first Black Women President.

Someone on tumblr found the longer Podcast. 

What she says on there is pretty much what the articles say, with one difference: 

Adam hurt her during a scene but she says it wasn’t scripted. She says he hurt her with a chair, claiming it was a “cloaked assault”, like, a disguised assault. 

Now, this is my opinion, she was an actress who had 3 lines. During this time, she was filming a Novela (soap opera) and travelling between cities, staying little time on-set. She might not have liked him as a person, either because of his intensity or because she caught him on bad days. 

Adam might have gone off-book in the scene, improvised or something, and ended up hurting her. Lidia is very posh and polite, she might have taken offence with Adam. She might have taken it personally. Maybe they both didn’t like each other or one of them didn’t like the other. Maybe she truly thought he meant to hurt her. Maybe he didn’t apologize. Who knows.

Lidia was given the option to leave the movie, she didn't. When the interviewers wanted to know more she brushed it off.

I’m not saying the incident didn’t happen. I believe Lidia got hurt. I’m saying: did he intentionally hurt her? I hope not, from what we see, he seems like a good person.

I hope it was just an unfortunate accident. If it wasn’t, if he truly meant to harm her, it’s sad and wrong, of course.

If anything else is revealed, I’ll follow-up and update you guys with true info.

Again, I’m not discrediting this actress or saying that Adam is a saint (no one is), but sometimes things get blown out of proportion. Don’t jump the gun, guys.

We might never know anything else. But it’s like I said before, Joana Ribeiro was the main actress, spent 3 months filming with Adam, never complained, only had good things to say after they shot.

I know this blog is dedicated to fanfictions, but I can't stay silent as a white person who consumes Asian media.

Asian people everywhere in the world get currently harrassed, assaulted and even murdered under the pretext that "they are the cause for the Corona virus". The pandemic is hard for us, I know, but please let us remind ourselves that Covid has no ethnicity, no one is to blame for it. Our frustrations towards the current situation should never be a reason for us to be clouded by hate and to commit crimes.

On that note, if you ever witness a hate crime towards Asian people, please step in if possible! We can't let the Asian community (or any community, really) suffer under racism and bigotry.

I stand with the Asian community. Protect Asian lives.

Please, inform yourself on the situation and stay open-minded, helpful and empathetic.

Disclaimer: Please bear in mind that the Black community also struggles and suffers, especially now with the Corona virus. Many Black people have less access to the vaccine due to systemic racism. Let's not forget about Black Lives Matter and fight for them, too.

It’s very sad how xenophobia and racism runs rampant in today’s society. The corona virus has acted as gasoline on an already lit match of hate and discrimination, and the results are heartbreaking. Asian people all over America and frankly the rest of the world are experiencing increased risks of assault and hate crimes. Above are just a few examples of what has happened. Please don’t be silent about this!

No one can, nor should be blamed for covid. It will solve nothing to take out our rage on innocent people. Please help spread awareness and if you can check out the links and donation sites. Thank you!

It's a War

By now it should be obvious - even to conservatives - that we are in a war. It is a conflict that began nearly fifty years ago when the street revolutionaries of the Sixties joined the Democrat Party. Their immediate goal was to help the Communist enemy win the war in Vietnam, but they stayed to expand their influence in the Democrat Party and create the radical force that confronts us today. The war that today’s Democrats are engaged in reflects the values and methods of those radicals. It is a war against us - against individual freedom, against America’s constitutional order, and against the capitalist engine of our prosperity.

Democrat radicals know what they want and where they are going. As a result, they are tactically and organizationally years ahead of patriotic Americans who are only beginning to realize they are in a war. The Democrats’ plan to steal the 2020 election was hatched many years ago when Democrats launched their first attacks on Voter I.D.s, and then every effort to secure the integrity of the electoral system. Those attacks metastasized into an all-out assault on Election Day itself with early- and late-voting grace periods, and a flood of 92 million mail-in ballots, hundreds of thousands of which were delivered in the middle of the night to be counted behind the backs of Republican observers after Election Day had passed.

The result of these efforts is that Election Day no longer really exists as a day when the votes are cast and counted. This is a fact that offers generous opportunities for the election saboteurs to do their work. Those saboteurs’ opportunities were greatly enhanced this year with the installation in battle ground states of voting machines specifically designed to calculate how many votes were required to steal an election and then to switch ballots already cast and deliver them to the chosen party. Mail-in ballots were indispensable to the realization of this plan.

I will not dwell at length on the years it took the Republican Party, and American patriots, to recognize what the Democrat Party had become or the threat it posed to our country as an enemy within. Suffice it to say that Republicans can still be heard referring to Democrats as “liberals” when it is obvious even to them that there is nothing liberal about their principles or methods. They are vindictive bigots who are actively destroying the First Amendment in our universities, on the Internet and in our once but no longer free press. Suffice it to note that while Democrats accuse Republicans including the President of being racists and traitors, the response of Republican leaders is this: “Oh, the Democrats are just playing politics.”

This is not “playing” people. It is war. They are trying to kill us politically, and we need to respond accordingly, to fight fire with fire. Today’s Democrat Party is a party of character assassins and racists. Republicans know this but are reluctant to say it. That is how a pathological liar and corrupt political whore like Joe Biden can accuse the choice of 73 million Americans of being a white supremacist and also murdering 220,000 corona virus patients. That’s why Biden and his gunslingers can do so with no consequences – without so much as a wrist slap – from “moderates” and independents, who know better. The Democrats’ ability to intimidate well-meaning Americans is that great.

Is this too blanket a condemnation? 

Where, then, is the Democrat who was outraged by the four-year Russia collusion hoax and the failed coup and impeachment attempts – all of which accused the president, without a shred of evidence, of treason? 

Where was the Democrat who dissented from the public lynching of an exemplary public servant, Justice Brett Kavanaugh, over an incident that never happened 37 years ago at a time when he was a high school kid? 

Where is the Democrat who has condemned the violent street criminals of Antifa and Black Lives Matter who got away with conducting the most destructive civic insurrection in American history, orchestrating mayhem and disrespect for the law that led to the murders of scores of people who happen to have been mainly black?

What follows is a basic vocabulary for understanding the political war that has engulfed us. 

When it is used by enough Americans who love their country, it will cancel the surreal universe that Democrats’ lies have imposed on us, and the war will be on its way to being won.

Democrats are not democrats; they are totalitarians. 

They have declared war on the First Amendment, the Second Amendment, the Electoral College, the Senate, the Supreme Court, the election system, and the idea of civil order. 

They have called for the Republican President of the United States to be de-platformed and jailed. 

Their obvious goal is a one-party state that criminalizes dissent. 

To them, support for such basic necessities as borders and law enforcement are racist. 

If you oppose their efforts to legalize infanticide, they will condemn you as enemies of women, and if you make videos of their confessions to selling body parts of murdered infants, they will - like Kamala Harris - throw you in jail.

Progressives are not progressive; they are reactionaries. 

They are out to abolish liberal value systems and create a status hierarchy where race, gender, and sexual orientation define and confine you to an unalterable place in their new social order. 

If you are white or male or heterosexual or religious – Justice Kavanaugh was all four - you are guilty before the fact.

But if you are a member of a designated (but increasingly imaginary) “victim” group you are innocent even when the facts show you are guilty - like the reprehensible female who lied to Congress in a calculated attempt to destroy Kavanaugh’s life and career. 

If you are a member of a “victim” group you have an unlimited license to persecute others. 

Thus, the LGBTQ lobby is currently behind a nation-wide crusade to strip Christians of their First Amendment rights and criminalize their religion. They use their victim status to leverage their hate of people who don’t embrace their agendas, and deploy it to crush them – and only Republicans seem to care.

Identity politics is a pure form of racism, yet Trump is the only Republican I’m aware of who has had the political spine to call a Democrat a racist. 

Identity “wokism” is a totalitarian politics because it encompasses every aspect of life, down to the pronouns one is ordered to use. 

The progressive police state will leave no space free.

Racists and aspiring totalitarians are what Democrats have become. 

The only moral principle they are guided by is the old Bolshevik saw, “the ends justify the means.” 

They will say anything however false and condone anything, however criminal, which advances their goal of maximum power.

Since race is the principal weapon wielded by Democrats, this is most evident in their claim that there is “systemic racism” in America, which needs to be rooted out even if it means destroying the very foundations of law and order. 

When two Republican canvassers refused to certify the election result in Detroit – a city once the richest in America but now mainly black and poor thanks to fifty-nine years of misrule by Democrats – they were accused of “systemic racism.” This charge and the accompanying threats by the Democrat mob were so intimidating the two withdrew their objections. 

But if there was in fact election fraud in Detroit, to object to it is not by any stretch of the imagination “systemic racism.” To believe otherwise is to believe that black people, due to their skin color, are incapable of committing election fraud. 

How racist is that?

“Systemic racism” is an assertion made reflexively by Democrats that is never accompanied by evidence. 

For good reason. 

Systemic racism has been outlawed in America since the Civil Rights Act of 1964. 

If there were actual instances of systemic racism in 2020, there would be lawsuits – plenty of them. 

Even making the racist assumption, which the Identity Politics crowd does make, that all white people are white supremacists by dint of their skin color, there are tens of thousands of black lawyers, prosecutors, district attorneys, attorneys general, and elected officials who would be filing lawsuits over a practice that is illegal. 

You never hear of massive lawsuits over systemic racism, because “systemic racism” is a myth. 

The myth lives because it is an indispensable weapon wielded by Democrats to advance their anti-democratic agendas and quests for power.

But the only reason Democrats are able to do this so successfully – even going so far as to justify the arson, looting and general destruction in more than 600 American cities this summer – is because Republicans, and conservatives generally, are too cowardly to confront them. 

This war will continue until patriotic Americans summon the courage to call Democrats the racists, liars, character assassins and aspiring totalitarians that they actually are. 

And to do so in so many words.

A trip down lockdown memory lane!

A trip down memory lane

As my business steadily builds itself back up, with a new face and some Covid-influenced changes, I look back at what it was like for a few months last year as just the “Mom.” The South African lockdown, one of the strictest in the world at that time, forced most of us Marketing and PR SME owners to close our doors and focus on creating a safe and “new normal” environment for ourselves and our families.

My parents both contracted the Corona Virus and so, it was left up to me to care for ALL five grandchildren for a few months. Including my own children, I had two five-year-olds’ (one boy; Wandi and one girl; Koli), one nine-year-old girl (Thotse), a twelve-year-old girl (Lungi) and the legend himself, my two-year-old son (Bugsy) whom you will have read a lot about on my personal Facebook page. As if that was not enough, we rescued an eight-week-old puppy (Luna) too!

Being a person known for preferring the company of all the Mzizi grandchildren, I was up for the challenge of this time spent being reacquainted with the daily struggle of just-being-the-mom-with-no-work without the pressure of having to go to work.

I acknowledge that my experience of this time is grossly different to that of a majority of my fellow countrymen/women, who struggled to make ends meet. Zam’s Hive started a fund, which generously received funds donated by almost ALL of my clients, close friends and colleagues from my place of work. We used these funds to assist families who wrote in via WhatsApp and SMS stating what their urgent needs were and paired them with the correct donor. I was astounded at how the people I knew were able to look beyond their own experience of the Lockdown, and were able to give the little (or lot) that they had to keep hope alive.

However, being the stay-at-home mom yielded quite a few hilarious experiences, which naturally, I shared on social media as they happened. Here are some of these posts. I hope they make you chuckle a bit at my expense. I hope they remind you that no matter how bleak the situation, our inner circle, our families, our children, the people that matter most to us are the ones we should keep our focus on.

How the wars began…

Wandi’s benevolent fart

Raising boys is a BREEZE!

My Wandi has reached that age where every hug and cuddle is a conscious decision on his part to be with me. It says, ' I choose to be near YOU. I choose you, mommy'

So imagine my joy as I was working in my office and my big boy chose that moment to sit on my lap...

He sat facing me, flashed his special smile and said' 'Mommy, let me show you how much I love you'

He put his hands on my shoulders and closed his beautiful brown eyes. I could see him mentally reaching deep within himself in order to share what he had to say. Then...

I felt it. A persistent drill-like hammering on my sturdy thigh where his bony bum was perched.

The stench was instant and the fog it created in my mind was confusion personified. I could not immediately compute that my baby came all this way just to fart on me. As realization dawned on me, my little angel held onto me just a little bit tighter to keep me in place as the hammer-drill was still operating. My thin leggings were no barrier from the barrage of bodily functions battering my poor skin.

During this assault, Wandi did not change his facial expression at all. He looked like a little Buddha bestowing a blessing upon a lesser mortal.

When he was done, he nimbly sprang off my leg and bestowed a beguiling cherubic smile upon me. Slowly reversing from the room with his cheesy smile and eyes closed, he blessed me with his benevolent ' enjoy the smell mommy' and quietly closed the door.

Bugsy drinks shit water

I'm on my knees begging for this changeling to be taken. Return Bugsy pre-terrible twos to me please!

I went into the toilet for a teensy while. I'd been holding it in for some time chasing my kids around. To my knowledge, fake Bugsy was safely chilling on my bed.

As my empty bladder and I float out the bathroom, changeling proudly displays a cup of water he is drinking...now this is a problem because all taps and cups are beyond his reach. This cup looks like the dirty one I ignored on the floor a teensy while back- are you judging me Karen?!

I frantically urge fake son to show me if he got water from the other toilet. He proudly replies, ' I no drink here Wandi peepee here' This is good. It's great actually. Wandi has diarrhea and drinking from his toilet could kill someone. Never mind Corona.

So I drag the smirking not-really-my-son into the kitchen to wash this mysterious cup. At this stage I'm fuming at the lord thinking 'turn this crap into wine NOW'

As I wash the still alcohol free cup, I turn to find swopped-at-birth guy smacking his lips and drinking from the bucket mqobothi style.

MY HEART SKIPS A BEAT!

I used water and Jik to clean dog poop just now. I spilled the water but clearly not all of it. What's worse here? Jik poisoning or dog poop poisoning?

The terror child is ok. I gave him milk and surrendered the rest to his creator.

I'm ok. I have a new twitch in my eye and I think I might have peed my pants a little. But otherwise baaah I'm good.

No really.

Just fine.

Look- fake son took the tin of milk and smeared the stuff on himself.

In a bid to demonstrate his defiance of my authority, my two year old has taken the long life milk and some shopping bags to an undesirable corner of the house. He has boldly announced that, 'I puttinnnin me in noty cona' This is his strategy to deprive my authority of putting him in a corner myself. The standoff continues...

I swear I don't make this stuff up...

Wandi just played with matches and his cousins came to tell on him. Naturally I gave him 'the look' times 10. He says to me,

'I know you're cross with me and wont talk to me.'

He stalks off to the shower and sits there while singing his new and spontaneously composed struggle song. The words weren't too clear but this is what I heard:

Take me away in peace, take me away in peace.

 Please note he has taken to eating some of his meals in this shower.

Can someone please send me a bottle of gin??!      Its for the kids.

Exacting revenge in small ways

My kids broke my hair clippers machine while I was cutting them. So now I'm leaving them with unfinished cuts because one needs to take revenge wherever the opportunity may present itself-even if it's your own kids. They think they know me. Mxim!

 Mom flu strike

I've been in bed with flu for a week now. During this my kids haven't given me an inch of space and rest.

I'm still a horse, jungle gym, chef, personal snot cleaner and unwilling audience to dance shows and song decompositions.

Tonight was just the worst! I went to the chemist for more meds and so needed a nap from the trip. Only to realize that I'd over slept and it was supper time.

After a mad dash to cook, serve and feed the royal highnesses, I'd had enough.

Where am I now? What am I doing now? These are all relevant questions I'm happy to answer for you.

I'm in my bedroom. For the first time since I became a mother, I have done the only sensible thing a tired parent can do...

I'VE LOCKED MY BEDROOM DOOR BIYAAACHES!

The situation update is as follows:

1.  Two year old has attempted breaking door down

I DON'T CARE!

2. Five year old has resorted to creepy body plastering against door and quietly chanting 'mooommyyyy can we have ice cream while you die?'

I  DON'T   CARE

3. In a rare show of solidarity the boys are now howling like wolves outside the door, throwing in the odd 'moooommmy where are youuuu'

I    D O N T   C A R E!

4. Nine year old niece has increased the volume and frequency of her coughing

IIIIIIIII DOOOOOOOONT CAAAAAAARE!

I'm at peace in my warm bed. Let the siege continue I have all that I need in here. A bathroom, all the toilet paper in the house, the only phone with airtime and did I mention -I'm the only person tall enough to cook. Muhahuahua!

So as usual the kids were acting up and driving me crazy before bedtime. This time however, the transgressions were extreme.

Someone didn't pee INSIDE the toilet but decided to mark his territory next to it instead.

Another decided to generously leave food on a dinner plate and put it in the kitchen sink for Santa maybe.

Another was dejectedly roaming the passage without pajama bottoms like a homeless person. Left to wander the night in shame and bottomlessness.

This was the last straw and I blew my top off.

EVERYONE TO BED WITHOUT A STORY NOW!

Even the little one understood that Armageddon was nigh, and scurried into bed as fast as his fat stubby legs could carry him (only half way up the bed usually).

In an unusually respectful and hesitant tone, Wandi bravely reminded me that I forgot to pray. So fine! I asked God to please help me make my children good etc.

Wandi again bravely offered to pray too and this is where he played his master plan into action (he never wants to pray):

Wandi: Dear God, please make all my dreams come true. The end.

 Yes. He said the end and not AMEN. I felt a reluctant smile coming on but I was wise to the enemy.

The next morning the kids all came to greet me in that way guilty kids do hoping for a cease-fire.

'Good morning rakhali' etc.

Then the master played his Ace move.

Wandi: In the name of Jesus, good morning everyone!

 How could I remain grumpy after my son evoked the name of Jesus?!

GOOGLE DOCUMENT: HATE FOR GRUVIA & JUVIA

Warning: Long Read.

OKAY. So, there's this document going around on twitter talking about why the writer hates Gruvia & Juvia. A glean of that document shows that the main reason for his/her hate is stalking. In fact, at the end of the document, the writer admits that he/she has been a victim of stalking twice.

First, please do know that I am sincere in saying this: I finally understand where your hate is coming from. I don't share in the sentiment but I understand. I will not counter your reasons. I will not debunk your proof or evidence. You won't get any hate, any demeaning words from me. Rather, I hope my sincerity will reach you.

Second, I have always thought of how important mental health is for everyone. Especially, now, that for some reason, in the age of internet and social media, most people have become victim to mental illness. The worst thing about it is this: unlike physical pain, mental pain is even harder to detect & sometimes, detection becomes too late. On that note, to the writer of the document, if you haven't gone to a professional yet, I sincerely encourage that you see one.

My brother works for a pharmaceutical company who sells prescription medicine to mental health patients/clients. The job entails not only mastering the field of marketing but, in order to be an effective marketer, they must learn more about their products and the illness it ought to help. Hence, we must first agree on one point: Mental Illness is a real illness and a genuine concern. It's not just about fighting spirit or courage or merely a 'just deal with it' problem. Mental illness is caused by some irregularities in the chemicals inside our brains, inside our bodies. It is real. And just like the current Corona Virus, it takes away lives.

So, how did we go from the Gruvia Hate to mental health? Simple. I think we can all agree that stalking is a manifestation of a mental problem. I cannot go deep into a discussion of it because I am not a professional and in no way an authority to speak on the matter. But it is a problem.

In the case of Gruvia, the writer find the ship distasteful because Juvia stalked Gray and made him uncomfortable for a number of times and that Juvia's development, if there was any, cannot change the fact that she was once a stalker. For the writer then, Gruvia sends a bad message.

So, how can we, the Gruvia supporters, even promote this kind of relationship, which in your opinion is toxic and manipulative? It's because we see it differently. Gruvia and Juvia has a different effect on us and we sympathize on a different aspect to them. What do I mean by this? We view the world differently because of our own experiences in life. What we've been through. What we saw. I'd like to expound on this but we are going off topic.

Before you accuse me of not knowing how you feel or what you are going through then let me share this with you.

I have this workmate (let's call him Mr. S) who I don't talk to at all but I do greet them politely when we pass each other by the hallways. In the office, there are already rumors about this guy's tendency to stalk. In fact, someone has already reported this person because he graduated from just stalking into approaching. Imagine, you were strolling leisurely in a mall then someone calls your name, you look behind and there's no one there. Then, that person texts you and say that he sees you in that mall? Geeeerl. That is exactly what happened to a lady workmate (Ms. V). & the person who was calling her name and texting her excessively? It was Mr. S. It happened because Mr. S thought that Ms. V liked him. What?

Let's get closer to home. I was new at my job and I didn't know about Mr. S's issues. I was a friendly idiot. Bad move. Lol. So, of course I greet everyone in the office. No one warned me. But somehow, Mr. S starts approaching me when there was no one around either the hallways or canteen or wherever. So, that's no biggie right? Then, he starts saying how he saw me at my university (I took up law while working) on a Saturday (Univeristies in my country don't usually cater to weekend classes). He had no business to be in the university (Mr. S is already a lawyer) so how come he knew I go there and have classes on weekends? Weird, right? That did not creep me out but I started putting distance between us. There was even one time he offered to take me home or to school but I said no because I was already aware of his reputation (& mainly because I didn't want him to know where I live nor my routine). There's just too many instances to mention but main point is that yes, I do have an idea of how scary it is to feel unsafe and uncomfortable around someone.

So, back to my main topic. Why am I suggesting you go see a professional?

I WAS THE ONE BEING STALKED AND NOW I AM THE PROBLEM?

Nope. That's not what I am saying. Your stalker (like our Mr. S.) has the problem. Not you. Not the victim. It's the stalker who manifests his mental illness through stalking. It's not you. You are not the problem. You are not at fault. You are the victim.

Unfortunately, as mentioned by the writer at the end of his/her document, stalking has a lasting effect on not only the doer but also his/her victim. It's not right. I absolutely agree with you on that. It's not right that you were the victim but you are forced to endure the negative effects of his problem on you. But consider it like this, when a person assaults another, doesn't the victim of the assault, let's say stabbing, get him/herself treated too?

In that sense, physical and mental illnesses are the same in that they both can be treated and, if too late, equally fatal.

IF YOU CLAIM YOU'VE BEEN STALKED THEN HOW COME YOU SUPPORT AND EVEN PROMOTE GRUVIA?

There is a difference between my case of stalking and of the writer's, to wit: 1) gravity; 2) degree; and 3) frequency of the offense.

I did not share my story to compare it with yours but to show you that I know and understand your situation. I will not claim that I have better understanding of it because you have the first hand experience of what you went and are still going through. But like I said earlier, we view Gruvia differently.

WHY DO I HAVE TO SEE A PROFESSIONAL?

For peace of mind. Life is tough. We all know that. And peace of mind is a commodity easy to have but hard to possess. Do you get me? We all know what we need to do to get some peace of mind but it's always easier said than done. However, issues like these have the tendency to snowball when left unchecked. And sometimes, it becomes too late.

WHY SHOULD I LISTEN TO YOU?

Honestly, you don't have to. But I did spend my time composing this long ass blog discussing a possible root of the hatred, which to others seems to be unreasonable. Because I care.

There are Fairy Tail ships that I also dislike, and some I really hate, and I was in the verge to become a toxic person until I muted, blocked and just ignored their existence. I swear, my life became less toxic! So, if you hate Gruvia then just ignore its existence. If you can't then...

If there are circumstances that prevent you from seeking professional help, then, I'm at loss for anymore suggestion. Maybe, try to get an assessment first? As far as I am aware, the doctors will first assess if you only need psychotherapy or, in severe cases, medicine. In case of the former, self reflection might help. I can't claim I'm religious but in my time of depression, I found solace in prayer. But in the latter, I don't know what else to tell you.
