Not to sound like a cranky old lady, but I am shocked and appalled every time I venture into the capitalist hellscape known as Michaels Arts and Crafts.

#first off: tons of empty shelves.#second: so much cheap crap and like… pre-made candles and decorations?? get those OUT of there #third: meager yarn section #third-and-a-half: kids’ crafts and kids’ craft instruction is just. NOT the same as it was (it seems worse?)#fourth (and now we might be getting hyper-specific to my local stores): dried paint?? all over the floor??#like everything about my local stores just scream SAD #the latest horror is automated checkout kiosks #the WHOLE STORE was staffed by like… one young woman #I felt SO BAD asking her a question #idk everything is awful and a place that used to bring me so much joy as a kid is just… a shambling corpse of a business #the cactus screams into the void

Hmm, do you think the sword found in the xuanwu was a Nie sword? Those are made to absorb resentment as this one did and others eaten presumably didnt. The xuanwu was active just as the new clan style sects were getting started so the nie might not have been established yet, or started to only use sabers.
