I'm taking the chance to just talk about my personal dsmp au that is basically canon if you don't think about it

I don't think we as a community wrote enough about demon ctommy. he was always my favorite it just gives him this evil vibe that I think is sooo funny and I always see it in ctommy art but never in literally any fic. and that's fine but imp or whatever-he-is-Tommy will always be real in my heart. in my head he used to be a bird hybrid, but when he died for what was supposed to be the final time they took his fucking wings and gave him cunty demon horns and tail. Death made him emo. for the sake of this narrative his wings used to be white too. Pair this with religious ctommy and you get peak

ctubbo. I think about him a lot. I think personally he wears armor under his coat. You'd think it start to get hot under there, and it does. his solution is to just Never leave the Arctic.

At some point he started developing resting bitch face, because it used to just be resting (autistic face of neutrality) but now he kind of just looks tired all the time. Not like Tommy's rbf where he looks like he's kinda pissed and has a headache 24/7. but at least they're semi matching now. bff's!!! (?) I can't write too much about ctubbo because my cutbbo is like 20 billion contradictions stacked on itself. he's not as simple as my ctommy.

He doesn't wear the red bandana anymore but he can't tell you why and he's not insecure about the scar on his face but he's not proud of it either. I FORGOT TO DRAW CRANBOO AND HIS WEDDING RINGS IM AN ANTI WHAT THE HELLL okay ignoring that blunder, their wedding rings are meant to be on their horns 💔 you can't fucking see cranboos singular (1) horn because it's out of frame, they're too tall.

The snakes talk to him. Take that as you will. He's a chronic suit wearer and will literally not wear anything else unless it's under or over the suit. he would like to never try anything new ever he needs this constant in his life or everything will fall apart and the world will end. He knows how to kit up and wear armor but just as a joke he wears random bits of armor in places he literally needs it least. as a fashion statement. Tommy doesn't wear any armor usually bcz who gaf he's not doing that shit

in my perfect world the egg plot in dsmp actually got used better and becsme more than a background plot. it could've been everything. anyway my dsmp au is egg war las Nevadas craziness and I'm right goodnight

dsmp actually ended with cwilbur going to utah and a day later coming back and taking tommy with him #ccrimehappyending and then after that ctubbo revived cranboo out of spite for not wanting to raise micheal alone and then cbeeduo kissed and every other weekend they visit utah and cdream tripped on a pebble and died and cpunz was never actually working with him its all real its all true actually

Actually cranboo never died and went on a journey to find whatever kept causing him to find strongholds and he finds a 3rd stronghold where he finds his moms who were looking for him and they help him and support him with his issues which are actually decently common among endermen (memory loss, enderwalking) and he gets better and his moms love him and they get to meet their son-in-law and grandson and dote on them too and all is well and they all live happily and don't get nuked

So what are ur hair headcanons then? 👀

i already draw it mostly (even made a ctommy hair timeline :P)

but basically both have natural hair color (ctu natural brunette and cto natural blonde). during pre dsmp ctu had messy outgrown hair because he never learned to cut it in 2b2t, while cto was mostly shaved head because labkid

during early dsmp to lmanburg they had regular haircuts, ctu usually being slightly longer than cto's

during pogtopia neither of them had time to cut their hairs, so it just slowly grew out beyond their usual

entering new lmanberg, ctu would regularly cut his hair to a length, sometimes he'd randomly cut it in very small amounts just for a distraction. in exile cto's hair grew out to his shoulder, as he never cut it during that time

when cto was with ctechno, he had a bit of his hair in a braid

doomsday caused cto to unbraid that part. and in the finale neither ctu or cto changed their hairs

during the very small hotel time interval cto wore his hair in a high ponytail

ctu started to let his hair grow out and took less care of it, sometimes just using hairbands or hairclips to get them out of the way

sometime after his death cto started wearing his hair in pigtails.

after cranboo died ctu had flowers in his hair, maybe from ghostboo? it was a messy kind of flowers in his hair. one of the flowers tied a part of his hair

post dsmp cto switches between a ponytail and a pair of pigtails, no longer cuts his hair except for his bangs. and ctu only uses one flower in his hair, and cut his bangs a bit

oh yeah i agree with the thing about ctubbo not getting angry about things around people. reminded me of a meta i wrote back when the nukes went missing. it has been like. two years. but here's some stuff from that i think still applies

"he has to be very loud about his weapons and very quiet about the things he loves" "but he also can’t be too bold about it. showing that you have powerful weapons is also a good way to get targeted, so he has to toe the line of either side to even exist peacefully."

and it's kind of interesting because that last one changed i think! i think he got a lot more jaded at the end and began being more and more reckless and stuff like going after sam goes against that. but i think it just shows that he couldn't afford to care anymore about his own safety along with everything else. it was tearing him apart

this switch really happened when cranboo died i think. ctubbo just stopped caring at all everything was a game to him because nothing was permanent and while god killed everything around him it wouldn't let him die. god that plot sucked so bad

the revenge thing with ctubbo makes me hmmmmm so often because like. im a ctubbo kills cdream enjoyer but not out of revenge just out of the conclusion of how far ctubbo has gotten in terms of dropping morals for the sake of safety/self defense. so the way he got characterized as a big revenge enjoyer to me (esp with how it was encouraged by ctechno and ceret) just felt ehhhh to me yk. tubbo isnt a pushover but he isnt Aggressive. hostile towards sam in the moment of Getting Michael but i cant imagine him naturally gunning for putting him in the prison lol in my mind he would like.. very heavily focus on getting michael home and then building up defense. defense over offense and all

plus like. he would have learned from the festivals shit. hell he Did learn. he refused to execute ranboo because it wouldnt be fair. also i think him being suuuper against revenge after all that makes him a better foil to both quackity (active revenge enjoyer) and techno (hypocrite about getting revenge) . BUT YES REALLLL esp the loud about weapons but quiet about what he loves ougghhgh. yknow one thing that irks me is when people have ctubbo like casually reveal to people that hes married after its been established that yk. he and ranboo are truly just keeping it as secret as they pawsibly can. he wouldnt trust people with knowing about his family he didnt even mean to tell fundy

I’ve had multiple dreams from the point of view of dream smp characters and when I wake up I always feel somewhat changed. The first one was a pleasant day in snowchester from the pov of cranboo except at the end I fell through the ice and drowned. I have never felt anything similar to my in dream cranboo pov hallucinations from lack of oxygen. Anyways now I know what my brain things death feels like and I don’t like it very much. I also do know fairly well what drowning feels like but obviously I’ve never died drowning.

you know also ctommy feeling abandoned by cwilbur that was such a gutting moment. because cwilbur never really told ctommy what happened in that crater that cranboo died there, nor how altered his relationship to c!q is, nor that ctubbo almost got killed there too. he didnt want him to know, you know sort of protecting him i guess. and the whole time of the van ws him sort of protecting him i guess, because cwilbur felt like he had to push ctommy away. And up to this pt ctommy's still on the "i never cared about lmanberg i only used it for sticking it to the man" and you know but then its lmanberg was always ctommy and his love for him and the home they could create together and it always was care and you know that just means a lot.

hi so I don’t think it was ever explained what the other two lives were because all the ranboo lore got cut short, which is why it’s not on the wiki. But I believe the general consensus/theory is that they lost one life in the community house explosion and one in the explosion on top of pandora’s vault, although some people switch out one of those for HO16 since both getting killed by Sam and in HO16 were probably supposed to be cRanboo’s final lives? HO16 is kind of unclear though I believe. Sorry if I’m wrong about anything!!

hi! thank you so much, and i do remember that HO16 was supposed to be ranboos final life but, because of the events of the break out stream things got changed. but later wilbur wrote HO16 as the "original" timeline that was supposed to happen. so i always thought of it as a retconned for unplanned events (a common thing to happen for dsmp haha) . And i do like the idea of them both being separate lives, but because of the timeline it would have to be HO16 then Break out.

but i never knew people thought of the idea ranboo died from the community house explosion! i usually saw that for the pandora vault one so thats very interesting!

i need to catch up on ranboo lore more since i never did while it was happening, but now i am and im starting to love their character a lot ^__^

(added on i also heard people say some could be from dreams revive book experimentation, and they've possibly died a lot more)

I think cTubbo was in shock when cRanboo died. He felt like he was in a dream, he didn’t believe it until he had to bury them. His world came crashing down and reality set in when he saw the corpse. I think the thing that got him was that they were still. Ranboo never sat still. They were fidgeting constantly and was always on alert. Their eyes would dart around, their ears and tail would flick. He would tap his fingers and bounce his leg. He also talked with his hands and was a very expressive person. But seeing him still was what got Tubbo. Seeing the empty shell was what made Tubbo realize that he was gone

it's basically choosing between A) c!beeduo having a happy life and then it all falls apart the day of the outbreak, when ranboo dies, or B) they have a miserable life together and tubbo is unable to let himself love ranboo, but they care about each other all the same until ranboo sacrifices himself for tubbo and michael -> also the only alternative where ranboo gets to meet michael

I much rather the idea of cranboo as Tess BUT consider the fact that Tess is cool and great and competent & cranboo is soggy and bedraggled and pathetic.

I think that, in the case of a TLOU AU, some serious recharacterisation is in order - part of what makes Tubbo’s character so compelling is the idea that he’s just some kid, and he’s found himself roped into a situation where his innocence is stripped away, and he does the very best that he can, and maybe he can’t tell what’s best emotionally or morally, so he goes by the book and works with a method. Right? Right. That’s difficult to work with if he already has people that he loves with all his heart - especially a romantic partner or child.

And the thing with cbee is that they’re BOTH messed up (re: even prior to their marriage, they both had this debilitating guilt and fear that was almost entirely confined within themselves) and they were best friends anyway. That’s SO important to who they are. Yeah they’re in gay love and they smoke gay weed and gay kiss or whatever but they were BEST FRIENDS FIRST. And that tone is hard to achieve in a setting like the opening of TLOU - a setting where, by all means, the domesticity and romantic love is assumed to have been already established.

The problem is that the start of TLOU is intended to INFORM Joel’s character, as well as place him in a situation where he’s never truly experienced tragedy, but is now surrounded by it. Now Tubbo is already a walking tragedy, and that informs his character long before he meets Ranboo, which means maybe something more life-altering is in order… maybe some sort of apocalypse…. maybe a kind of….. Doomsday….?

Proposal: their lives are torn apart separately. Tubbo’s “happy life” prior to the apocalypse is equatable to L’Manburg, where he’s got people at his side, people that he loves, but he’s still a little bit alone. Ranboo only meets him AFTER everything has gone wrong, and maybe you can make parallels to New L’Manburg and have them talk in passing in a situation where they’re preoccupied with their own troubles, then have them properly come together once everything falls apart. And then they find themselves a Michael. Could be fun.

ok its time for my. traditional post-stream moment (well. post-vod considering the circumstances) where i try to condense all my thoughts into a singular post especially rn since i didn’t liveblog so people not watching don’t have to see it

um. okay uh well first off im still crying, that should give you…? an idea of the effect this stream had on me…?

im still holding onto hope for this story to be about healing but if it ends grim and the only hope is ‘oooh volume II blank slate woo’ i don’t know what i’ll do with myself LOL (despair). but i’d like to think if wilbur didn’t kill off his character. i’d like to think tommy wouldn’t either. but like always in extremely tense dangerous points in the story before i’ve never believed they would die like i never thought cwilbur would die yknow. but i think. well this is the most scared ive been for lore since um well ever actually i think

first off. gonna try to avoid talking about dream as much as possible even his character.  just hope people aren’t gonna take the justifications he and cpunz give for the . Horribly Fucked Up shit theyre doing as valid and start running with ‘oooh cdream was in the right and the victim all along!!’ but who am i kidding they probably have already. ill admit i didn’t see the hydra-type plan coming, with one not being killable if the other’s alive so that was a twist

UMM lord that whole lava room scene was . indescribable levels of fucked up and dont get me started on how cdream managed to convince ctommy that all the shit and abuse he’s suffered (even up to doomsday) was HIS FAULT and we see that resurface not even an hour later when ctommy tells ctubbo every bad situation theyve had since the start of the server has been his fault. don’t get me started

when they broke character because tommy couldnt do the stunt of aiming the throw of the discs JDJZDJJDSJ appreciated the break of the tension it made everything worse after in comparison. even tommy said he was on the ‘verge of tears irl before that’

and then the nuke. we got SO SO CLOSE to an acknowledgment of the nuke plan. of c!rocketduo’s plan to kill ctommy. but honestly while we didn’t get it outwardly i’ll take ctommy hesitance and like. pause after ctubbo said cjack helped him & ctommy brought up the explosion near him as him putting together the pieces. ill pretend just for my own sake. SPEAKING OF ctommy now knows cranboo was the one who set up the explosions (under mind control obviously) that stuck him in the prison with cdream and got him killed!!! can this boy catch a break. well he’s dying tomorrow so i guess he’s getting a very long break (<- just cried for an hour at that prospect)

and then. ctommy setting up the plan to trade his life for everyone else’s.

okay so like we all saw it coming but Ummmmmmmm well still a punch to the gut. Ummmmmmm. Ummmmm dealing well with this info. also ctommy screaming at ctubbo to ‘stop being optimistic’ and ‘its over, theyve lost’ and how he needs to just do this and die and its the end. Hahahahhahaha disc war finale roles flipped amirite. now ctubbos desperately clinging onto an alternate solution and ctommys the one who’s so jaded, so desperate that he’s convinced he needs to die (and that he deserves to. let’s be real ctommy thinks he deserves to die because he believes he’s at fault for the shit he and the others have been through. and if he dies without anyone having fucking proved him wrong. well.)

and like in my mind this story has always been about healing, like i said. and i’d genuinely be surprised if tommy chose an absolutely grim ending for his character (dying for everyone, sure a hero’s death, but dying still thinking he’s at fault for it all. that’s not just tragic that’s unnecessary.) but yknow at this point

the part that got me the worst was the whole bit after they started walking away from the nuke site. like they started walking towards and on the prime path and talking about how it was the last time and Uhm wellllllllll yes so maybe i cried fuck off . like the LAST TIME do you realise this???? LAST TIME c!clingyduo walked the prime path. and when ctommy started talking about lmanberg. looking at the flag. ASKING CTUBBO THAT, AFTER HIS DEATH, THE FLAG BE PUT UP THERE TO FLY IN THE WIND. ASKING CTUBBO TO TELL EVERYONE, INCLUDING HIS SON AND HIS SON’S CHILDREN, THE STORIES OF THEM AND THE OTHERS AND LMANBERG. looking at the lmanberg pictures. sitting on the bench together but there’s no music anymore because the discs are gone but that’s alright, it’s so pretty, look at the sunset tommy isn’t it so pretty? yeah it is. i’m gonna die tomorrow tubbo

like its all always been about lmanberg because it was about them. and i know people are gonna run with cpunz’s ‘nations exclude those not part of it’ argument, but lmanberg was about the community. like ill never say this enough lmanberg was literally family like that’s what they were all fighting for or clinging onto or running away from . and it was their project and to cwilbur it was ctommy and they were all important but ctommy was the heart of it all. he gave everything for it, for them really. over and over and now he wants ctubbo to tell those stories after he’s gone because he plans to walk in tomorrow at eighteen years old in a place where he’s only known trauma and death, walk in there and lure his abuser and his partner and then take a nuke for everyone. youngest one on that server. and yeah they’re not kids anymore (according to them) but they are they’re fucking kids ctommy is so tragic i feel fucking ill

and now its past midnight meaning Today is. final ctommy stream ever. Um well it has not sinked in yet. two years and probably my favourite character of all time ending Today and most likely dying. brother i don’t know what i’ll do with myself if he dies im genuinely so embarrassingly attached to this character and the others and this story. and so much of it feels so hollow when they walk around the server and there’s no one. idk whatever happens tomorrow i’ll still be so fucking glad for this story no matter how fucked up some things have been recently and no matter how much wasted potential there was. this is disgustingly sappy but tbh you clicked ‘read more’ on this post like u signed up for this. anyway ctommy my shining star whatever happens tomorrow youve been the best ever🌟🌟🌟 my favourite little guy in the whole wide world literally a star

remember that stream that was like a 5 hour mining stream but there was like a 20 minute lore scene where cranboo had a flashback to their first death which was when ctubbo offered them a blunt and they tried to smoke it to seem cool even tho theyd never smoked before but they had an asthma attack and fucking died
