I've decided to start being the person my middle school self would have been if I hadn't been in college when Undertale came out. So welcome to Cringecore!Undertale (or maybe Cringetale or Undercringe?) Idk if I'll keep posting about this for very long but this felt like the best place to put this stuff. My 2012 Tumblr brain says a # makes it real so I'm manifesting that. I saw that user p0th made a post a while back about making a Cringe!Sans at some point so I didn't wanna step in on that, hence Cringecore which I'm imagining as like a mix of 90s/00s era cringe/internetcore, kidcore, and weirdcore aesthetically. I have boards for some of the characters but Cringecore!Sans (they/he) is the only one with some backstory and a vague design thanks to sisterhood-chain on picrew.

The basic "plot" of Cringecore!Undertale is that Fresh!Ink Sans gave Cringecore!Sans the colors they needed to protect the Underground from humans getting in and make their home fun and safe, while emulating some of my what they think would be the best parts of the human world. This means there's no need for physical fights or violence, so all arguments are solved with games.

Quite a few people must be enjoying the prospects of the new year. However, for every optimistic person, there is a pessimistic person- and then of course, someone like CA (Cringe AU) Sans. He likes to consider himself a realist...because in all honestly, things are BAD in this AU. The entire world has been ruined... To be brief, he has a SKELE-TON of reasons to feel like he does.
