I will find Underverse in Infinite Craft! It will happen! If I can find all of this then Underverse has to be possible! It would also seem that Ink is hard to find as well but that won’t stop me!

I don’t know if anyone asked before about how smoochable Nightmare is, but I’m really interested in reading what you have to say ✨

We all love Nightmare here, but he's sitting at a 6 right now for numerous reasons, which you're welcome to read if you feel up to!

1) How dangerous is Nightmare's mouth? From what I know, his teeth are flat, rather than sharp or jagged. He could probably change that if he really wanted to, considering that he can change his appearance and do shapeshift-y stuff with the goop he's made out of though, so for this, I'll say he gets 1 point

2) Would he bite, and how aggressive is he? When you think about it, Nightmare does a lot of fighting. In Underverse, he held Chara by their throat at one point, then he battled Cross and Dream. It's been a bit since I watched the series so the could be more people he's fought, so although I feel like he's gotten into it with Error too, I don't wanna make any assumptions about that. Then if you go back to his origins in Dreamtale, he did kill everyone except Dream after his corruption. That being said,, yeah, I feel like all of that makes him pretty aggressive. I'm not sure if he'd bite, but he probably would shove you away or spear you with a tentacle, so 0 points here

3) Are there any health hazards to the smoocher? In short.... yes, there is. The goop that he's made out of. If I remember right, Joku commented before on the goop and said that it would physically hurt to touch it. That aside, the goop is his corruption, and I'd rather not find out what would happen if someone's lips got too close to it, since smooching could mean accidental consumption. For this area, he gets no points

4) Does he have a sympathetic backstory? Of all AU characters out there, I would say he does, considering the events of Dreamtale. He was brought into existence with this massive responsibility that he couldn't do anything about, even if he wanted to. Then, even being a very young child, he was constantly bullied and harassed, and he was led to feeling lonely and inferior to his brother. He never felt good enough, and all he wanted was to feel like Dream's equal, instead of feeling like he was the scum of the earth. Eventually, he couldn't take it anymore. He HAD to show people that he could be as good as Dream, which resulted in him accidentally corrupting all the apples on the tree except for one. The townspeople started going to the tree, presumably to kill him for what he'd done, so he panicked, and I forget if it's canon or not, but somewhere it's stated that he heard the voice of his tree mom's killer, and in his moment of weakness, he was manipulated into eating the apples to make himself stronger. Fast forward to after the incident and after Dream got sealed in stone, but I read from somewhere that he was guilty and often visited Dream for a long time afterwards, grieving and trying to free him, but to no avail. So..... he gets a full 2 points, since his story is extremely tragic and heartbreak.

5) Does Nightmare deserve a smooch? He does horrible things and allows for the torture and harassment of innocent people across different AUs now, just so he can get his fill of negativity. Then beyond that, his entire quest is to kill his brother and plunge the entire universe into figurative darkness, where he'd reign supreme. After everything he's been through, I wanna say he deserves a smooch, but I'm conflicted because of all the horrible things he does and allows to happen currently (mistreating the monsters who work for him also being one of said things). I'm just gonna say he gets 1 point here because the main root of his issues is trauma and corruption, but that shouldn't be an excuse or a justification of his actions

6) Is he cute or cool? Design-wise, yeah, I'd say he's pretty cool. He definitely stands out more than other Sans-based characters do, and he's easily recognizable. He's a tough guy and not someone I'd want to find myself in any kind of argument or disagreement since he has the brains to back up whatever speaking points he's trying to make. He's strong and smart, has a lot of power at his disposal, and does carry a lot of influence over others, so I'll give 2 points here

In total, Nightmare's smooch-ability is a 6 out of 12. You'd have to really convince him first and make him genuinely believe that letting you smooch him would be beneficial to him somehow, which... in and of itself probably wouldn't be very easy to do. Then if you tried to smooch him anyway, you'd probably get speared by a tentacle, strangled by one, or physically hurt by the goop that makes up his body and face now. You can try to smooch him if you want, but yeah,, it'd have to be a quick peck if you wanted to minimalize whatever amount of damage the goop does to your skin

Okay, I've been into Undertale for too long now and I have imagined too much.

Example... How would the Underverse happen in other multiverse? Such as Fell and Swap? I had idea for both of them but I'll be putting into separate posts.

On this one, I'll talk about VerseSwap.

(OBS: Swapverse is already a thing, which is why I called it VerseSwap.)

It would start off with a different backstory for Xswap (which I haven't thought of yet) but would include the adorable CrossBerry that @jakei95 made.

The ending would be CrossBerry alone in that white void with Xswap Frisk, then the two would meet Template, a swap Error, that had been talking to Xswap Faster for a while.

Unlike Ink, he wouldn't be truly a “bad guy”, he would befriend CrossBerry but wouldn't be aware that Xswap Frisk was a ghost that kept around CrossBerry (Did I explain this correctly?)

After a while, another Sans would appear in the empty Xswap, that would be Dream from Swapdream. He noticed how much CrossBerry had hope and was super positive even if his world was a void, so he decides to “help” him find a way to restore his universe with one condition.

CrossBerry would have to join Dream into a quest for Dream's younger brother, Nightmare, who had disappeared on the multiverse and kept “causing trouble.”

The main changes here!

Even if it's a swap, the war would still focus on Sanses.

CrossBerry Sans will be callee Cross, but to differentiate him from the original I wrote CrossBerry.

Instead of having a Blueberry! Ink, Error, Dream or Nightmare, I thought it would be interesting and more original if there were added the “swap fates” of those universes, since none of the four “have Papyruses”, if you get what I mean. So now we have Swapdream Dream and Nightmare, Template and Pale.

Since in Underverse we had Cross and X Chara fight in both Underfell and Underswap, since the multiverse is already swap I'll have them go for Fellswap on the fell fight and Swapfell on the swap fight, I hope that makes sense.

I hope you liked my idea! When I have time, I'll be writing my idea for the Fellverse.

XTale: Δverse

It's more of a concept than a serious Fanstory; It basically what If X!Gaster decided to incorporate the story of Deltarune into the plot with X!Kris as the main protagonist in the 13th Tale (dubbed XΔ, the 4th iteration of Tale X). The event played with the same consequence of XTale, but with Kris fused with Susie with a piece of the Overwrite code embedded within them. In the First Season, they (with the assistance of Dream) travel across the Multiverse in search of X!Chara. This would involve a more diverse cast of Out!Codes as the original, so it won't suffer form the plague that is "Crisis of Infinite Sans". Note that this is an interpretation of Jakei's "XTale: Underverse", and is in no way canon to the story regardless of scale.

X!Kris:

Kris is a rookie of the Royal Guard who winds up in the mess created from a conflict between Gaster, Sans, and Chara; gaining a piece of the overwrite code herself. She also plays as the Elder Sister of the Humans, as opposed to the younger brother Kris in Jakei's Tale IX.

X!Susie:

Susie is the leader of a gang of delinquents that Kris was tasked to apprehend as her first mission, but their soul fused during the destruction of Their AUs. She retain the hungry, rude attitude that she's well known for in the original Deltarune, yet she cares about her companions.

X!Noelle:

Noelle's a Nobel that secretly looks out for Susies' gang. She have a crush on their leader, yet shy to express her true feelings toward her. She was rescued by X!Gaster and serves an important role in his plans.

Chaos!Jevil:

This Out!Code Jevil is a result of the Hijinks caused by Error!Sans and Ink!Sans. He now became sadistic and cruel seeing the multiverse as a sandbox of mischief. Because of his unpredictable nature, he's often seen as an Harbinger of Chaos: Hence the name "Chaos!Jevil". In this Interpretation, he's the one who expose X!Gaster to the Multiverse and granted him the Overwrite ability. 

Curator!Seam:

I'm also thinking of creating a Seam who works as the Curator of the Multiversal Library as well as a guide for our heroes. He also have personal ties with Chaos.

Dream!Ralsei:

I probably have to read up on Dreamtale to get his personality straight. But in this story he will take the form of Ralsei since I personally think it fits him way better than a comedic skeleton. I also see him help X!Kris with her quest the same way Nightmare helps X!Sans.

CORE!Frisk and VesselSwap!Kris:

At this point, V.K. and CORE's relationship got to the point in which the former rescue Genocide survivors at the latter's behest (since CORE's manifestation comes down to a coin toss). V.K. often keep tabs on the duo, while CORE's role has remained unchanged from the original.

I'm planning to include more Out!Codes into the story along with a list of AUs of both Undertale and Deltarune; but instead of variation of the same two stories, it will involve a variety of new stories with familiar faces (like Harry Potter with Deltarune Characters for example).

This is so cheating since its not a different take on the Ring but using the same archetype. While Sadako is an Onryō, Emiko is a Yokai. While she shares many similarities with Sadako, she is not a vengeful spirit. Which is why she married Sam Williams and gave birth to Erma. Erma is a sweet story about this young child fitting in with other children. Recently as of this writing she is in Japan visiting her Mother’s side of the Family and soon will have a point and click game.

Friendship is Dragons by Newbiespud

What happens when you retell the story of My Little Pony but with the context that its actually someone’s Tabletop Game? You get Friendship is Dragons, inspired by another comic called Darths & Droids, it uses Screen Shots as well as custom art to tell their campaign. It inspired my work too from my own D&D Storyline and having the reason someone is the Element of Magic because being friends with so many different people is something that can only be explained by magic.

The sad thing about this is that thanks to the destruction of Smackjeeves, this comic is only available as a PDF File. And sadly it was discontinued without any warning. I do hope Ryan is alright, but still this is my favorite comic that depicts the Sonic and Mega Man Universes being as one. And this is even before Archie did their Sonic/Megaman Crossover. If you can find a copy, definitely give it a read.

Please, do tell us about the Game Of Underverse Dream and Nightmare's backstory

Actually, in TGOU they don't have an actual backstory - they are just charcters you can get by summoning in the tavern, and while they are waiting for being summoned, they are just kept in the cage like all the other heroes in their void (one void is usually for one AU).

Nightmare was the first one to get summoned of the two of them, becoming Cross's first legendary character that he got. He wasn't really friendly to others but was great in battles and pretty quickly became the MVP in Cross's team, leveling up and getting himself better equipment. Though when he found out what backstory the Game gave him, he was rather disappointef to say the least - a heartless assassin who has lost his family and friends because of the monsters and so swore to destroy every one of them. He just straight up said that it was bullshit, because of course he can't have any actual backstory - he was in the void the entire time with Dream, though he could not say the part about the void because of the Game's restrictions for characters.

Only after a couple of months Cross managed to summon Dream - Nightmare's paired character, which meant that they were much stronger being in one team than in separation. But, quite unfortunately, Dream managed to exhaust himself to the point of just passing out as soon as he got into the real world, because being alone in the void for such long period of tine sure had its consequences for him. Even people at the tavern decided that it was some "glitch" during the summon and suggested to just retire him right away, but Nightmare did not quite let them, getting into a fight with one of them and then everyone else. Thankfu3, no one died then, because Cross, surprised with Nightmare's behavior at the time, promised to leave Dream with then and let him recover first before doing anything.

It took him quite a while to do so though, and it became an actual problem for Cross, because even though the other did not need any medicines ir anything, Nightmare was refusing to leave him alone in the home they lived in, which meant that Cross could not have his MVP in battles, which made then quite a bit tougher, even though he did have Ink and Error as his teammates by then.

But when Dream was finally okay and joined their team, defeating monsters became much easier, because of his combined class - archer and healer (Nightmare is assassin and dark mage), so Cross really did not regret not retiring him then.

And since The Game of Underverse is your typical RPG game, it pretty much goes as one - Cross gets quests, completes them, kills minsters and moves further through the plot.

One of these three. The first one I was just working in my normal art style to draw something Contestshippy for Valentines. I feel like that is what I would normally put here and be like “put 100% best” but I wanted in 2019 to experiment with more coloring and tools so I’m very happy with the second one too even though I didn’t spend as much time on it and it was a collab. The third one is with copics and I like how I experimented more with gel pens and with actual markers.

For March:

I drew this for Error’s 21st birthday and I could not BELEIVE the difference between this drawing and the first Gaynote drawing. It’s uncanny.

Art: After I made the march picture I actually made a buuuuunch more art. I’ll still consider that one the march picture. It’s still early in April but here is my picture at the moment:

I wanted to tell unu about the ship name pastel pallet I have for them but I didn't want to just tell her by just private messaging so I drew a picture... and it looks GREAT.

I had a hard time coloring it because I was originally using five colors and purple wasn’t working as a good replacement for black but I was trying anyway. I started coloring Pale and reaaaally wanted to use different colors at that point and realized brown is a much better replacement black then purple is. I still kept some purple on Template though because it looked nicer that way. Also found out Pale’s source color scheme is... very light and all of his colors were available to be used.

I made like 100 more adjustments with the help of a bunch of random non-artists just throwing ideas of stuff to change and see how it looked. Then I put a pink filter on it and was doneeee.

But yeas very pretty.

Still trying other coloring stuff and trying to finish my projects. Got somebody to help on the David comic so I’m working on the Deltapocalypes one. I also put the ghost stuff on hold because I’m busy and don’t want to feel bad about it. Also, I'm gonna make a visual novel of AU bullshit lol.
