nah bc i can't get over the difference between ray's kid watching him perform with pure love and wonderment in his eyes meanwhile at the midtown headliner the other night gabe's kid had to be physically removed from the stage multiple times bc he kept running over to call his dad a poophead and beat him up
Any new offering from ii is an experience, but to have the summoning solo recorded professionally up close with all the details is a religious experience
Thing I learned about crowd surfing is that in order to do so you have to go through the mortifying ordeal of asking a tall person close to you for uppies
you CANNOT go limp or swing your legs around when you are crowdsurfing that is how people end up kicked in the face and with concussions. it also makes it harder for everyone to keep you up; if youre going to crowdsurf make sure you are doing it correctly, observing the crowd to make sure they will be able to keep you up in the first place, and try not to crowdsurf in such quick succession with other people it makes it hard not only on the people in the front but on security as well because they cannot keep up with so many people comming through at once especially if there are surfers on both sides of the crowd!
taking a photo of a band that is playing in front of a giant bright-as-fuck screen with a mid phone camera is not exactly easy (and I didn't want to spend too much time focused on my phone instead of what was happening, so I didn't try too hard/for too long), but this shot is pretty cool ngl
