I'm actually a bit self conscious about posting quotes because its just... One of those things that are nerdier than any porn I could possibly write, you know, lots of writing down timelines and making family trees and OCs and meandering character study about minor ass characters. But basically it's disjointed notes about an Alannys backstory fic.

The title Is very misleading because while it does have Balon and Alannys' wedding as a tentative prologue, I ended up mired up in wrangling the Canon timeline and whether Aeron or Victarion is a more reliable narrator of It and such so I was indecisive if it should happen when they're ~12, ~15, or the latest problem timeline 'should happen when they're 15 but they sabotage it for their dumb teenage Vikings reasons and don't until ~19' as there's some timeline indecision in canon.

There's a lot of concepts in it I do still really like and I jotted down a lot of my idea of family dynamics from It for other fics, but I'm just too old to wholly unselfconsciously give myself to this sort of genre sadly
