why do the ffxiv expansions keep sending you guys to some weird cyberton world. like why is all the promo art normal final fantasy looking stuff but then i see ppl posting their characters in game and they’re always posed somewhere like they’re in the kh2 world that never was level dressed like a cyberpunk hypebeast
— I wish I knew!! I can get behind anything if it’s well done, so I really struggle with this and I feel pulled in opposite directions. Like, I love Cyberpunk super futuristic SciFi and high fantasy zero technology only nature equally, ya know? My mum would say surprisingly conservative because I like antique furniture (usually paired with clean white ikea) and romanticist painters and that’s how my flat looks. I have a Casper David Friedrich print on my wall. My personal style currently is embarrassingly hypebeast inspired but I try to edge it up in a punky way and attempt to keep it minimalist which is a paradox, so. Maybe the closest we can get to me expressing this to my own satisfaction is how people have described my design style, which has been called “classic squeaky clean with surprising details” and “understated without being boring” and “A modern way to use serifs”. I’ll go with that. Black, as a general rule.
Which brings me to 🌸: Best compliment I’ve ever received.
Definitely the aforementioned work related ones. I sat in a job interview once and the person interviewing me interrupted me while I went through my portfolio and said “you really love your work, i can tell” and it was absolutely meant as a compliment and I nearly started crying because I felt so seen.
Had a lot of fun designing his possible outfits. Very inspired by the hypebeast streetwear/cyberpunk techwear outfits. Crop tops and Crop Jackets are always in.
When people walk through my house, I want them to feel like they spent the day at Willy Wonka’s ex wife’s cooler, serotonin inducing, minimalist flare, neon extravaganza, seventies-esque house.
Did I mention that Mrs. Wonka may or may not have been an ex playboy bunny?
