Hi? I came to tumblr few months before the titty ban so... almost five years and one of my posts has almost 200 notes (HOW.)

I always had a soft spot for Thunderclan. They are just so stupid, so naive. And something with the prefix Ginger ? If that's alright, of course

it took me a good while to understand what you were talking about lol I was like "ok so they come to my askbox to infodump???" and then I realized I had litteraly asked people to do that in exchange for a backstory.

OK so:

You're a tortoiseshell and white cat with green eyes (because your pfp is colourful). Ginger is the most important colour in your fur though, and you were named Gingerkit. You're the only kit of your litter and were born in Thunderclan from the clan deputy and a tom reknowned for his hunting prowess.

After an apprenticeship without trouble, you were named Gingerwing and became a warrior. You're a good hunter like your father and trained two apprentices since your warrior ceremony, Moonfeather and Willowstripe.

Recently, the leader lost his last life, and your mother became leader under the name Blazestar. She named you deputy but you refused as you felt it would be hypocritical of you to accept, because you are secretly in a cross-clan relationship with Cypresstail from Windclan.

The fans were disappointed you chose to get into this cross-clan relationship, as Cypresstail is widely hated ever since their novella (Cypresstail's Path), but some are hoping you will have kits together in order to stir up drama.

Name: Wrenpaw (formally Wrenkit) Age: 8 moons Clan: Forestclan Rank: Apprentice Mentor: Cypresstail KC: Casonova  Beliefs: As a kit, Wrenpaw struggled with a lot of anger toward Starclan for the way he was born. He felt like he had done something wrong– surely it wasn’t his fate to become an elder straight out of the nursery, was it?! Over time, as he grew older and worked on his disability, he healed some of that anger toward Starclan. But Ghoststar’s recent declaration does have him wondering again. What if… what if Starclan isn’t real? Skills: Wrenpaw struggles with a lot of typical warrior tasks, and due to his disability, he can’t climb any trees. But he’s started to learn how to corner prey and his small size gives him an advantage when hiding in tall grasses. He also has an odd knack for catching crayfish from the Maple Brook! Appearance: Wrenpaw was born to a sick queen earlier than he should have been and was thus the smallest kit in the nursery. He remains small and skinny with a short, ginger tabby coat. He has a white neck, belly and legs which are constantly covered in leaf litter and dirt. He has a dusting of orange across his pink nose. 

Wrenkit also has mild to moderate cerebellar hypoplasia. He has a slight head tremor whenever he focuses on anything. He also loses his balance easily and cannot walk in a straight line, always veering to the left. But he’s working on it and has improved a lot since kithood!

Story so far…: 

Wrenpaw’s story starts with a name. His mother curled around him, licking the breath into him, keeping him warm, even as her own breath became more and more labored. For a moment, his parents feared their tiny son would pass with the others. But then the kit let out a triumphant wail, high and piercing, like a birdsong. For that sound, so big despite his size, the loving parents named him Wren. It was the last thing his mother did before she died, and his loner father took him to the clans, desperate for help. 

But that wasn’t the name Wren was called in the nursery. 

Fallkit. Flipkit. Clumsykit. And everyone’s favourite–Wobblekit. As the rest of the kits learned to walk, run, fight, and play, Wrenkit struggled to stand up. No one understood what was wrong. Wasn’t he eating enough and getting enough sleep? The medicine cats tried new poultices, gave him extra prey. Still, Wrenkit trembled, teetered, and toppled, as though his legs and brain couldn’t talk to each other. Murmurs spread through camp and each one an echo of Wrenkit’s fears: that kit will never be a warrior. 

But Wrenkit had to prove them wrong. No way was he going to stay in the nursery, or worse, go to the elder’s den before he’d ever caught a mouse! No matter how much his own father protested, Wrenkit was determined to become an apprentice. He worked with the medicine cats on exercises to help strengthen his muscles. He walked, and he fell. He pounced, and he fell. He ran, and he fell. But Wrenkit always got back up. 

His sixth moon came and went, kits became apprentices, new kits were born, and Wrenkit stayed in the nursery. He worked for another moon, and by the seventh, he was walking, running, and pouncing… and yeah, still falling, but less than before! Finally, he got his mentor and the name he’d been running toward: Wrenpaw. 

And no matter what anyone says– not his father, not his fellow apprentices, not even his own mentor!-- he’ll earn that warrior name too!

Name: Cypresstail Formerly Julius (Gregory Eeyore) Age: 19 Moons Clan: Forestclan Rank: Warrior/Mentor Mate: N/A Apprentice: Wrenpaw  Beliefs: Having been a kittypet, Cypresstail has a very loose understanding of the Warrior beliefs when it comes to the Starclan. He doesn’t really have any evidence to doubt it from what he sees and hears but he’s just going with the flow when it comes to that. Otherwise - he has a very fond feeling towards other clans (perhaps naïve) because he believes they all must be friendly! They’re all in the same paws, after all!  Skills: Stealth. Cypresstail has an incredibly soft gait among his climbing skills. With his delicate steps, you never hear him coming, making him a great lookout and an even better scout. Appearance: Bright orange/red tom cat coat, medium length fur with a bushy tail. Bright dark blue eyes and a single white sock on his front right paw.

Story so far…: Looking back, Cypresstail doesn’t remember much from being a kit - except all of his brothers and sisters playing together in a small dark area, huddling together underneath shelter when it rained and getting to frollic in tall grass when it was sunny. He remembered his mother in brief memories- always having to come back for him when he wandered off too far and always giving him a sharp nip whenever he stopped too long to sniff at a frog or a butterfly. He’d always been too curious. He supposed that was why one day an old woman picked him up and cooed some weird sounds at him before taking him back to a much bigger and brighter home. 

He never saw his siblings or his mother again after that day - instead he saw the woman. At first he’d been terrified, huddling in the corner, hissing and scratching. The tall woman seemed unmoved by his threats though. Instead trying each and every day to get closer to him, offering food and delicious smelling treats. Soon...he stopped hissing. Started approaching her and accepting her offers of food and comfort. She easily found that great spot behind his ears to pet, just like his mother used to scratch when she groomed him. He also found her lap to be as soft and warm as his mom’s. Her games as fun as his siblings’. Quickly he grew to love the woman very much - and in return was gifted the name of Julius, one he so easily came running to in response at every call. 

He didn’t know how many moons he spent with her - but one day, she’d acted different. Sad. Sick. Her pets slower, her hand shaky. Then one day she didn’t pet him at all. He’d bolted out the door when the strange smelling intruders came - running and running from his safety until he’d found himself in unfamiliar territory all alone once more ... or so he’d thought. 

Instead of danger however, Julius found yet another family to call his own. A place kind enough to welcome him in and now he was returning that gift in every way he could, doing his best to work hard for his clan and to teach what little skills he has to share - even if he doesn’t quite understand it.

Whispering Brook- Their territory is covered in gentle bubbling brooks, thick wetland grasses and willows with gnarled roots, perfect for carving nests into. Their camp is nestled in a willow grove, protected by heather, bracken and honeylocust the cynn has collected over time.

Larkbelly- Brown tabby she-cat with a cream colored underbelly. She has deep scarring over one eye, as well as along her pelt.

Boulder Ridge- Boulder Ridge cats are known for their powerful legs, able to leap quickly across the rocky outcroppings that litter their land. Their land smells of musky pines and abundant moss. Their camp is located between two massive boulders where they have been careful to dig out nests lined with the moss that covers their land.

Pebblestar- Strong gray and white cat with small grey freckles on his face. He has a heavy coat.

Deputy:

Slatefur- Dark grey she-cat with icy blue eyes.

Gazers:

Goldenstem- Long haired ginger tabby tom with green eyes.

Beepelt: Orange tabby tom with amber eyes.

Mossfur: Pale grey she-cat with blue eyes. Sister to Slatefur.

Specklewhisker: Mottled tortoiseshell she-cat with amber eyes.

Pinefoot: Black tom with scars across his hind legs from a run in with a badger.

Wandering Marsh- Located below Whispering Brook, Wandering Marsh has made their home where the brooks all converge, offering hunting of toads, snakes, frogs, fish, and the occasional bird. Half of their territory is forest, which gives them prey for the winter. This territory is only hunted from leaf-fall to the beginning of new -leaf. The Wandering Marsh cats often get into skirmishes with the other tuffets, as they feel it’s a waste to let prey run rampant throughout green-leaf. This cynn makes their camp in the mangroves that creep through the marsh, and their thick and tricky territory makes it difficult for other cynns to fight in.

Flightfoot- Medium hair brown tabby tom with amber eyes.

Cypresstail- Unusual solid brown tom with short hair and blue eyes.

Meadow Grove- Meadow Grove is known for being the friendliest of the cynns. Their camp exists in a Gamble Oak grove, protected from high winds that blow across the meadow on occasion. Their prey is extremely abundant, but they are threatened by foxes, coyotes and badgers. Most of the cats in Meadow Grove are sandy or shades of brown, very rarely do cats in this cynn have black fur, as it greatly reduces their effectiveness in hunting.

Rootsong- Pale brown tabby she-cat.

Gazers:

Juniperpelt- Mottled brown tom with amber eyes.

Mousestep- Pale brown tabby tom with white patches, brother to Rootsong.

Mentor: Kiteburn (he wanted Sparktail but Alderstar and Myrtlewing were like HAHAHAHAH NO WE DON'T WANT TO BE BURNT ALIVE)

Dark Defects: His voice is always scratchy and hoarse, very similar to a heavy smoker. Very thin and ragged.

Dark Benefits: EXTREMELY good sense of smell

-His best friend is Beechblaze, a fellow pyromaniac Dark Kit (who was also Sparktail's apprentice!)

-Out of all his siblings, he's closest to Deertongue and Sandspark - they're kind of a chaotic trio

-Also pretty close to his "cousins" Cypresstail, Badgerfoot, and Pebblespots (Cypresskit, Badgerkit, and Pebblekit, who have gotten their warrior names by now!) :3
