How do you feel about jae? (from d6)

fine!!! i think i'm probably more gracious than most w/ him in that i think he was reaaaaaally going through a lot when he was first leaving jype, and had no real idea of how to act and lashed out (kinda reminded me of how disney channel stars sort of rebel yknow). he's said before his mental health was in a v v v bad place and that's super clear. i think w/ a lot of his comments (outside of the jamie one) they weren't that serious (even if i didnt like them, they didn't warrant a lot of what he got), and w/ jamie i think he genuinely thought it was smth he thought was a joke, and when he realized how serious it was, made ammends. they had a v real and serious convo, and since it affected her, and she accepted it and are still good friends, that's good with me! he parted w/ the boys on good terms (that we know of) and even though they renewed and he didn't it doesn't seem like there's any love lost. i don't follow jae suuuuuuper closely admittedly but car crash was a great song and if he puts out more bangers then i'm down to listen! he's always been a v v talented musician.

tldr. he's fine. i think he's just a little stupid and made some bad decisions and seems to have gotten the help he needed. he was my first day6 fav and i always loved his voice and contribution to the band and will continue to listen to him if i come across him, but more importantly i'll support day6. i think those two things can co-exist <3

The blonde woman turned sharp to the one speaking to her. "You're not him." That guy she crushed on. The one she wanted to hear those words from. But if he wasn't that man she loved (who didn't know she existed) and he was saying those words than it must mean he was speaking to someone else. Or about the actual view.

She turns her head to look at the view he was speaking of but all she saw was dull concrete and some cold looking buildings. "If that is your sort of view then I am happy that you are enjoying it."

"Honey, I did not marry you to satisfy me in bed," he started -not knowing whether the conversation would end up cheesy or a bit creepy. "Do you even know why I married you?"

She did not miss a beat answering. "Because I'm pretty."

"Yes." Jae smiled at her response. "..but not just that."

"Because I turned you on the first time we met?"

He chuckled against her still damp hair and she turned to face him again, curiosity written all over her face. She honestly could not think of anything special about her when they first met.

"Then what?"

Jae cupped her face, eyes filled with warmth and sincerity. "Babe, believe it or not but you are the first person I have pictured myself having my own family with. I don't know if I have told you this enough of times but god, you are so amazing to me. I love you."

I'm kinda too scared to check for myself but what the hecks going on with Jae and Day6?? I know he's left the group and company but I see alot of people quite angry at him on Tumblr recently. Did something else happen? I know he use to often get in trouble on twitter because thats where everybody goes to pick a fight but some people are really angry on tumblr and idk man everything just seems off 😕

It's 5:30am and I can't give you full account of various shitty things he's said in past like... solid two or more years, including being transphobic, liking tweets with variant of r slur and anti-liberal/censorship message, and recently seemingly sincerely saying that the entire kpop is just brainwashing every individual, as if hanging out with misognystic friends is some unwashing from the "form". Also claiming that day6 isn't authentic. But like, you get the gist. I am not defending kpop industry as a whole, but also acting if he's been brought as some kind of magical overseas transplant to enrichen the biodiversity and then put through literal brainwashing machine against his will, when he was the one going out of his way to sing praises and imitate JYP more than like any other member... Just hm.

But the current anger in particular is about him hysterically giggling like a school boy over calling a woman, a friend supposedly, a thot. Someone he knew from when she was 14. He's behaving like a child, drunk on "freedom" and that freedom is just to be an asshole to everyone he's known and considered him friend in the past. I won't be surprised if he soon starts openly dissing his band members and then it turns out anyone not supporting him actually is calling him out for his behavior. Like, is this the authentic true self every kpop artist should strive for? Misognystic insults about friends? Superiority complex based on what?

Does he mean the fairy he's met - he really can't see her? Naksu - the soul shifter almost on similar lines to a Chinese mini drama named "The Only Girl You Cannot See". So yeah, he might have zoomed in Naksu his crazy master when he said this.

Am I...... allowed to be a little upset that JYPE used part of my pitch but didn’t hire me??? (ok hire might be an exaggeration, I think it was just an offer for an internship or smthn)

Of course I don’t have any legal rights over the work, and the idea itself isn’t novel (I even cite other songs that employed the same technique as references in the next slide) but ??????

Long story short, I pitched the idea of having an official release of a title track sung by MyDays for my JYP Idolist submission last year (sometime around July/August 2020) and....... it happened......but I’m still here lol

No hate for the members at all, and of course in the end this is the kind of content that MyDays want and are very happy with, but I worked really hard on that pitch :(((((

This is random but just because an idols group member makes certain jokes abt that idol does NOT mean you have any right to do so, especially if that idol has asked you not to. They are friends/teammates and have a history and mutual understanding. You are not friends, you are a fan. Know your place.
