Life is to short, so I always say, keep your head up high and impress yourself with what you know and how you feel. music can help but what you find interesting keep at it as long as it brings you joy and doesn't hurt others intentionally then go for it. Feel good about yourself positivity is key but working for it is the most satisfying in the end. Music always helps for me so I do it, some say a lot of negatives others positives but it brings me joy and that's a fact. When timbaland and Missy came out in music for the first time there was a lot of skepticism now they are legends that's a lesson worth learning I say.

Rapper Lil' Kim Has Had A Profound Impact On Fashion Over The Years
hen Lil’ Kim made her debut with the 1996 album Hard Core, she utterly and completely changed the rap game. A protege of Notorious B.I.G., and the sole female member of his hip-hop group Junior M.A.F.I.A., Lil’ Kim, aka Kimberly Denise Jones, had a flow that was raw and gritty, with raunchy, sexually liberating lyrics that made critics clutch their pearls. Hard Core went on to become certified double platinum by the RIAA, cementing the then-22-year-old as a bona fide hip-hop god. But it wasn’t just Lil’ Kim’s lyrical prowess that set her apart from her contemporaries that came before her. Her sense of style also made her a trailblazer, solidifying her as a pop culture fashion icon.

While other women rappers like Queen Latifah, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Da Brat favored more androgynous clothing, like oversize T-shirts and baggy jeans, Lil’ Kim’s outfits were ultra-feminine, bold, risqué, and revealing — as provocative and outrageous as her songs. She wore teeny-tiny bikinis, see-through silhouettes, candy-colored wigs, and equally vibrant fur coats. She also helped popularize ’90s and noughties logomania, a trend in which designer branding is made overtly obvious on one’s clothing and accessories (the antithesis to “quiet luxury”). In Kim’s case, logomania also applied to hairstyles, as she famously wore wigs with Chanel’s double “C” logo and Versace’s Greek key motif. (The move made sense for someone who frequently name-dropped designers in her lyrics). Aside from head-to-toe designer monograms, Kim has worn a sparkly catsuit made with 965,000 crystals, embellished headpieces with matching thongs, and a gray, floor-length chinchilla coat (which she modeled next to mob daughter Victoria Gotti in the video for 2003’s “Came Back for You”). The list goes on.

“She was bringing something new that we hadn’t really seen before,” says Elizabeth Way, fashion historian and associate curator at the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). “For so long, female rappers had been kind of marginalized and really tried to fit in with their male counterparts, especially with their style. Lil’ Kim rejected that and embraced her femininity in both her style and her lyrics.” Marissa Pelly, stylist for the rapper Ice Spice, shares a similar sentiment, pointing out how the industry made female musicians feel like they couldn’t boldly embrace their sexuality while simultaneously being perceived as “chic” or “luxury” — as if the two concepts could not co-exist. “Now when I see female artists owning their sexuality, while also being muses for some of fashion’s most elite houses, I think of — and I thank — Lil’ Kim.”
Behind every celebrity style icon is a brilliant stylist; a wizard behind the velvet curtain, so to speak. For Lil’ Kim, it was Misa Hylton. One cannot discuss Kim’s vestiary tours de force without mentioning the industry legend by her side, who had already been masterminding looks for Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, Jodeci, and her then-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs. But theirs was a match made in fashion heaven; the two women felt an immediate kinship. “I think that Kim and I were magical together and when you have that type of synergy only greatness can come forth. We were thinking outside of the box and unapologetically taking risks. People gravitate to that type of authentic and creative energy,” Hylton told Dazed in 2018.

The two women set the bar high high from the beginning with a legendary look the promotional poster for Hard Core, Kim’s debut album: a leopard print bikini and a sheer, marabou-trimmed duster. The one-piece was designed by Sex and the City costume designer Patricia Field, who owned a store in New York City from 1996 until 2016. It was known to be a hot shopping spot for fellow performers like Debbie Harry, Lady Gaga, and Kim’s friend and frequent collaborator Missy Elliott. Hylton and Kim frequented Field’s boutique almost daily. In the years — and decades — that followed, both the look, and Kim’s signature squatting pose, would be replicated by the likes of Teyana Taylor, Nicki Minaj, GloRilla, and countless others.
Hylton and Kim also went all out for the “Crush on You” music video, directed by Lance Rivera. Inspired by the The Wiz’s color-changing Emerald City disco dance sequence, the video featured the star in monochromatic technicolor outfits and matching wigs — and instantly catapulted her to mainstream MTV fame. “When you think of the blueprint for most female musicians’ styles today, you think the designer logos; the iced-out, statement jewelry; and different styles of wigs — that was all her,” explains stylist Estelle Aporongao. “Kim’s DNA runs through the contemporary fashion industry’s veins.”
In 1998, Kim donned a bejeweled caged headpiece and matching arm sleeves to the 1998 Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards, which felt like the ultimate statement. But the rapper topped herself yet again a year later when she attended the MTV Video Music Awards in a purple wig and lilac-colored, sequined jumpsuit, complete with a single purple pasty that garnered an unforgettable reaction from Diana Ross. The moment would become the stuff of award show legend.

That same year, Kim covered Interview magazine’s November issue wearing only a Louis Vuitton headgear and LV logos painted all over her body, a moment described as a “cultural reset” by celebrity stylist Audrey Brianne, who works with Chris Tucker and Tyler Posey. “At the time, it was a fresh idea no other star had rocked quite so boldly. If people weren’t already paying attention to Lil’ Kim by then, they were now,” she says.

To be clear, Lil’ Kim was interested in fashion long before she dressed in colorful furs. “Her high school friends recounted how she would spend her allowance on clothes and had Gucci before they even knew what it was,” explains Nygel Simons, a stylist and archivist, noting that the artist also worked at Bloomingdale’s prior to rapping full time. “It really shines through when an artist genuinely loves fashion.” Nowadays, it’s not out of the ordinary for a designer to dress hip-hop artists for red carpets or sit them front row at Fashion Week, but in the 1990s, that relationship didn’t really exist. Lil’ Kim had a je ne sais quoi that both attracted and inspired designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Giorgio Armani, Betsey Johnson, John Galliano, and Donatella Versace, who would dress her for her 1999 Met Gala debut.
Way long before Barbiecore would become a part of the cultural zeitgeist, Lil’ Kim sported a pink, full-length mink coat with a studded pink bra, matching hot pants, and pink snakeskin boots for the “Rock Style”-themed Met Gala. “Donatella is my girl. We’ve loved each other from the moment we first saw each other,” Kim told Vogue in 2020. “At the Met, you’re a designer’s muse, [and] she loved the fact that I have fun in her clothes.”

Lil’ Kim has also walked the runway for designers including Baby Phat, The Blonds, and VFiles. But her closest friendship is with fashion designer Marc Jacobs, whom she calls her “bestie” and who has played a significant role in her life and career. Jacobs dressed Kim for her court appearances and subsequently became her prison pen pal when she served a one-year sentence for lying to protect friends involved in a 2001 shootout. Kim sent Jacobs the Bratz doll coloring pages she painted, which he then had framed and hung in his house. Jacobs is also writing the foreword for her forthcoming memoir, The Queen Bee.

“These were interesting and important alliances for her during the early 2000s because it further legitimized the message to her fans and the public that her empire and reach extended well beyond music,” says stylist Alison Brooks, who works with television personality and hairstylist Jonathan Van Ness. “I believe it was a turning point, not so subtly signaling to other artists to bling themselves out in designer looks with confidence and embrace their curves with body positivity before body positivity became a thing.”

When it comes to her own work, Pelly says she’s strongly influenced by Lil’ Kim. “I love how effortlessly she would combine her own fun custom pieces with luxury ones, while also demonstrating a great deal of high-end fashion knowledge.” Pelly says she had this approach in mind while styling Ice Spice for the “Barbie World” music video, pairing a custom Chanel-inspired, Christian Cowan tweed set with a Barbiecore bra by Laser Kitten, custom Emilio Pucci, and pieces from the Gaultier archives. “It’s that duality that’s so inspiring to me and creates the most interesting, well-rounded looks every time.” She also drew ideas from Kim’s 2003 “Summer Jam” performance, in which she wears SS03 Jean Paul Gaultier script belts around her waist and chest. “I love when artists love the same brands I do... I tracked down the same belts for Ice’s Paper Magazine cover back in April as a nod to the OG style icon.”

It’s difficult to imagine what would have happened if Lil’ Kim hadn’t paved the way for women in hip-hop to take fashion risks. Cardi B might not have worn archival Mugler to the 2019 Grammy Awards, and who knows if Megan Thee Stallion would have modeled for Calvin Klein. Then there’s the countless Kim homages artists have paid over the years: Beyoncé replicated several of Kim’s famous looks for Halloween 2017; Rihanna has cited the rapper’s penchant for experimenting with different looks as a major influence on her own fashion sense; and Miley Cyrus dressed in Kim’s MTV VMAs look for Halloween back in 2013, purple pasty and all. It’s for reasons like these that stylists like Simons believe Lil’ Kim deserves official acknowledgement for her legacy, particularly from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. (For years, fans have been calling on the CFDA to honor Kim with its annual Fashion Icon award.)

One thing’s for sure: You’d be hard-pressed to find another hip-hop fashion icon with the same enduring legacy. “Lil’ Kim is the blueprint,” says Simons. “Whenever you think you’re being presented with something new, if you search hard enough, you’ll find that Kim has already done it at some point.”

Eve has always been a little different. The Philly native burst onto the scene in the late 90s as the only female in the Ruff Ryders camp, offering a feminine perspective that was both hard-edged and sultry. At the time, the most prominent women in Hip Hop were Lil Kim, who was hard-edged sex appeal, Foxy Brown, with her sleek and crafty sexuality, and Lauryn Hill, whose debut leaned heavily into soul music as she pontificated on love in its meany forms. When Eve dropped her double platinum debut in 1999, Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady, she was solidly in her own lane, falling into her “it-girl” demeanor with ease, backed up by cocky, round-the-way girl lyrics that complimented early Swizz Beatz production. 
But it was her Grammy-winning sophomore album, 2001’s Scorpion that pushed her to mainstream stardom when she reconnected with Dr. Dre and formed a friendship with Gwen Stefani that resulted in the mega-hit “Let Me Blow Your Mind.”  Throughout the years, Eve’s charisma has landed her a self-titled sitcom (Eve which ran for three season on UPN), movie roles, including The Barbershop franchise, a gig on daytime TV (she co-hosted The Talk on CBS for three years), and most recently, a starring role on ABC’s Queens. 
Quietly, she’s one of the most successful artists in Hip Hop, charting a career path similar to Common, Ice Cube, and Queen Latifah, and she continues to add to her legacy. These are her 25 dopest songs.

Vincent van Gogh sasvim je sigurno jedno od onih imena koja su duboko usječena u svačiju memoriju, bez obzira koliko se razumiju u slikarstvo. Taj veliki slikar nezaobilazan je u povijesti umjetnosti, no po svemu sudeći širina ljudi koji znaju bar nešto o njemu nadilazi njegov utjecaj na likovni svijet. Njegov život bar je jednako pridonio Van Goghovoj slavi.     Zato nije ni čudno da baš njegove slike redovito postižu milijunske iznose na aukcijama, a prizori zvjezdanog neba ili suncokreta bez sumnje su među najreproduciranijim motivima na svakom mogućem proizvodu široke potrošnje. Nekako se čini da svi znaju za Vincenta van Gogha. Jedan od najvećih stručnjaka za život i rad Vincenta van Gogha, britanski povjesničar umjetnosti Martin Bailey na svom sjajnom blogu Pustolovine s Van Goghom navodi s pravom da priče o slikaru, u rasponu od odrezanog uha do samoubojstva, često iskrivljuju pogled na njegov život i djelo. Jednim od najvećih krivaca za to, po Baileyovom mišljenju, snosi američki pisac Irving Stone, autor romana o Van Goghu 'Žudnja za životom', po kojem je 1956. snimljen bar jednako slavni film Vincenta Minnellija s Kirkom Douglasom u glavnoj ulozi. Dovoljno je vidjeti korice jednog od prvih izdanja, na kojima piše navodna izjava navodne prostitutke koja je navodno rekla umjetniku: 'Dokaži da me voliš, daj mi svoje uho na poklon'. Bailey je stoga nanizao deset najvećih mitova o Vincentu van Goghu, u obranu velikog umjetnika. Van Gogh je slikao kao u bunilu     Općenito se smatra da je svoja djela slikao impulzivnim nabacivanjem boje na platno, kao da napada. Međutim, bez obzira što je slikao vrlo brzo, svaku je sliku pažljivo planirao. Svoju tehniku stavljao je u službu dubokog promišljanja, a inspirirali su ga i drugi umjetnici. Radio je vrlo sustavno, i svaku je ideju pažljivo promišlao. Jednom je napisao da su najbolja djela ona o kojima netko mašta pušeći lulu u krevetu. Van Gogh je bio usamljenik bez prijatelja Bez sumnje je imao neobičnu osobnost, zbog čega su neka od njegovih prijateljstava loše završila, a stalna putovanja otežavala su mu uspostavu dubljih odnosa. Pa ipak, poznavao je veliki broj ljudi i imao nekoliko bliskih prijatelja, poput slikara Emilea Bernarda. U lađi se lako zaljuljaš - Lodz
Povratak u ovaj grad nakon točno 15 i pol godina. Puno toga se promijenilo od kada sam zadnji put bio ovdje. Łódź, evo da napišem ispravno na poljskom, baš onako kako se i piše, vjerovatno na najtežem jeziku na svijetu. U prijevodu brod ili lađa. Poznat je kao industrijski grad u kojem se najviše proizvodio tekstil.. I tada je ostavio dubok pečat u ovom gradu kada su se brojne familije obogatile na račun te velike proizvodnje. U to zlatno doba izgradile su se brojne zgrade, vile, ljetnikovci, palače, uglavnom u klasicizmu i secesiji. Prije 16-tak godina, te lijepe osebujne građevine u centru bile su u dosta lošem stanju, oronule fasade, vlažna i zapuštena unutarnja dvorišta.. Danas je to neka druge priča.. Fasade na starim zgradama u centru su 90% obnovljene i to uglavnom povlačenjem sredstava iz europskih fondova ili već neke druge kombinacije i ulaganja.. Van užeg centra grada, puno zgrada je jednostavno srušeno te su napravljene nove zgrade, bez puno filozofiranja.. Skoro da više i ne prepoznajem ovaj grad koji je na mene ostavio dubok emocionalan trag.. Trebao sam još jednom doći ovdje, vidjeti, osjetiti, pomirisati.. Kapitalizam i komercijala, kao brat i sestra drže se za ruku u ovom gradu.. EU donijela im je regule i pravila, red i organizaciju. Svi čekaju na semaforu dok se ne upali zeleno, i nitko ni za sekundu prije stupa na zebru.. Osim mene.. Navodno su kazne za takav prekršaj dosta visoke, što sam saznao poslije pa nakon tog saznanja, nisam ni ja više tjerao mak na konac. Policija uvijek negdje čuči i gleda.. Nema više lokanja po cestama i javnim površinama.. Alles verboten! Podsjeća me na neka prijašnja vremena kada su svijetom vladali neki strašni ljudi i ostavili neke stravične posljedice iza sebe.. Pa gdje je nestala poljska individualnost, improvizacija i snalažljivost?

No žene su i dalje lijepe, predivne i vitke, a muški zajebani i oprezno dozirani u razgovorima.. Ako negdje možete vidjeti mrtve pijane mlade beskućnike, koji bauljaju po danu i ispijaju ostatke piva po terasama , to je ovdje.. Očigledno je dugotrajnost radničkog života, ostavila duboke ožiljke u glavama muškaraca koji traže utjehu u votki i pivi.. A alkohol je ponekad prividan izlaz iz mukotrpnog radničkog načina življenja..I to baš pričam ja :) ..

Jedna od najdužih komercijalnih ulica u Europi. Piotrkowska ulica.. Ako želiš turistički posjetiti Lodz, trebaš samo doći na ovu ulicu i sve što trebaš vidjeti je ovdje ili malo pored nje.. Prelijepe stambene zgrade, vile, palače s obnovljenim pročeljima zagolicale su moje oči. Najljepše je u sumrak kada se počne paliti ulična rasvjeta i narod izlazi u šetnju. Mladi, stari, djeca, biciklisti, romobilisti, policija, svi su vani. Imam osjećaj da je cijeli Lodz izašao napolje u šetnju da udahne svjež zrak. Barovi, pubovi, restorani s velikim izborom strane kuhinje, dućani, pasaži, crkve, fontane, i puno različitih zanimljivih statua nižu se uzduž cijelog komercijalnog dijela Piotrkowske ulice.

Meni jedan od najinteresantnijih pasaža je Pasaż Róży. Napravljen je na fasadi zidova u dvorištu nekadašnjeg hotela Polski. Zidovi su prekriveni mozaikom ogledala i tako se svjetlo isprepleteno lomi i daje ovom dvorištu jedan neobičan, zanimljiv, duhovit i misteriozan štih. Na trenutak sam se osjećao kao Bruce Lee u filmu "U zmajevom gnijezdu", kada na kraju filma mlati ultimativnog zlikovca u sobi punog ogledala. Arhitektonska koža slična je mrežnici - tkivu koje oblaže unutrašnjost oka. Róża je kćer umjetnice Joanne Rajkowske koje izradila ovaj projekt. Oporavljala se od bolesti retinoblastoma, raka oka. Postepeno bilo je jasno da će uspjeti progledati, a ovaj pasaž zapravo predstavlja jedno putovanje od neviđenja do viđenja.

No za vidjeti neke druge stvari ipak je potrebno krenuti još malo dalje van centra.. Kao na primjer spomenik žrtvama lodzskog geta, uglavnom Židovima i Romima, koji su prisilno dovedeni ovdje za vrijeme nacističkog režima. Bio je to drugi najveći geto po svojoj veličini za vrijeme okupacije Njemačke, odmah iza varšavskog geta. Lodz Geto je poznat i pod nazivom Litzmannstadt geto, jer su ga tako Nijemci prozvali, kao i cijeli grad Lodz po njemačkom generalu Karlu Litzmannu. Lodzski Geto trajao je duže od ostalih geta, točnije 1940. -1944, najviše zbog svoje solidne produktivnosti. Geto je bio pretvoren u veliki industrijski centar u kojem su se proizvodile uniforme, odjeća, drveni i metalni predmeti, električna oprema, i to sve za potrebe njemačke vojske. Radni i životni uvjeti su bili jako teški, umiralo se od gladi i zaraznih bolesti, a od 1942. počele su i deportacije u koncentracijske logore smrti Chelmno (Kulmhof) i Auschwitz Birkenau. Preživljavanje u getu, ponajviše je ovisilo o radnoj sposobnosti.

1939. u Lodzu je živjelo oko 34% Židova (233 000 stanovnika). Oko 210 000 Židova prošlo je kroz lodzski geto, od toga je ostalo samo 877 kada su Sovjeti stigli, dok je oko 10 000 Židova preživjelo holokaust negdje drugdje.

Geto je imao svoju vlastitu valutu, marka lodzskog geta, koja se mogla koristiti isključivo samo u getu, a niti se mogla mijenjati za druge valute. Stanovnici geta bili su tako prisiljeni mijenjati svoj stari novac i bilo kakve dragocjenosti za marku geta. Korištenje drugog novca u getu bilo je kažnjivo smrću. To je bio vrlo efikasan način da se Židovima oduzme imovina i spriječi ih od bijega iz geta. Jedna marka geta dijelila se na 100 pfeninga. Dizajn najranije kovanice od 10 pfeninga podsjećao je na Reichspfennig Trećeg Reicha. Završni dizajn sadržavao je Menoru i Davidovu zvijezdu.

Danas je ovdje na rubnom dijelu nekadašnjeg geta postavljen spomenik od jedne kule s dimnjakom i tunela u kojem su postavljene memorijalne i edukativne table za razdoblje 1939.-1944. Opisuju događaje za vremenski period od početka fašističkog režima do zatvaranja geta, to jest likvidacija geta, vrijeme velike patnje i pogiblje židovskog naroda, Roma i Poljaka neistomišljenika nacističkog režima. Na kraju tunela je željeznička stanica Radegast (prije dolaska Nijemaca stanica zvala se Radogoszcz), koja službeno nije bila dio geta. Ovdje su dolazili potrebni materijali za proizvodnju robe u getu i odavde se transportirala roba proizvedena u getu u ostale dijelove Trećeg Reicha. Ovdje je također bila dolazna točka za oko 20 000 Židova iz ostalih dijelova Europe, još 20 000 Židova is likvidiranih geta iz regije te oko 5000 Roma iz Gradišća iz Austrije. Preko ove stanice iz lodzskog geta, deportirano je oko 150 000 Židova u logore smrti Kulmhof i Auschwitz-Birkenau. Vrlo blizu ovog memorijalnog centra je židovsko groblje, koje je napravljeno 1892. Te godine napokon je dobivena dozvola za izgradnju novog groblja, a najviše iz razloga izbijanja kolere pa su negdje morali pokopati te nesretne ljude van centra grada. Vrlo utjecajan poduzetnik i vlasnik najveće tvornice tekstila u Lodzu, Izrael Poznański, darovao je zemlju za izgradnju groblja. Njegov mauzolej je najatraktivniji dio groblja, i možda je najveći židovski nadgrobni spomenik na svijetu i jedini koji sadrži mozaik. Nekada je ovo groblje bilo najveće židovsko groblje u Poljskoj pa jedno i od najvećih na svijetu. Ovdje se nalaze oko 180 000 grobova i 65 000 nadgrobnih spomenika i mauzoleja te se također nalaze masovne grobnice žrtava lodzskog geta i holokausta. Tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata groblje se zvalo Groblje u Marsynu. Procjenjuje se da je oko 45 000 žrtava pokopano tijekom 1940. - 1944. za vrijeme njemačke okupacije, to jest trajanja lodzskog geta.

Kada ste u Poljskoj, uvijek se nekako kroz vjetar osjeća ta strašna priča iz Drugog svjetskog rata koja je bila pogubna za Poljake i Židove. No osjeća se duh industrijalizacije i velikih tvornica tekstila iz razdoblja iz druge polovice 19. stoljeća pa sve do Prvog svjetskog rata. Mnoge te tvornice su renovirane i prenamjenjene u šoping centre, centre za kulturu i nauku, muzeje, gastronomske i komercijalne zone. Jedan takav ogroman industrijski kompleks, danas jednostavno po imenu Manufaktura, izgradio je Izrael Poznański 1871. To je onaj čiji se veliki mauzolej nalazi na židovskom groblju. On je bio jedan od tri kralja pamuka u Lodzu (ostala dva bili su Karol Scheibler i Ludwik Geyer, oba njemačkog porijekla). Manufaktura je veličine današnjih 27 nogometnih igrališta. Kompleks je sadržavao tkaonice i predionice te pomoćne pogone. Uz tekstilnu industriju razvila se industrija za konstrukciju i popravak strojeva, željezara, ljevaonica, željeznica i spremište za lokomotive, plinara, vatrogasni dom, tvorničke kancelarije, stanovi za radnike i rezidencija vlasnika. Danas je to najveći trgovački, uslužni i zabavni centar u Poljskoj u kojeg je za njegovu revitalizaciju ulupano oko 200 milijuna eura i nalazi se zapravo u centru Lodza.. Ima 306 trgovina, veliki hotel, sportski kompleks od skate parka, fitnessa do umjetne stijene za penjanje, kino, muzeje, oko 20 restorana. Nema čega nema.. :)

Još jedna revitalizirana atrakcija je EC1 Lodz, bivša elektrana čija je izgradnja počela 1906. i s preinakama i nadogradnjom bila je sve u funkciji do 2000. godine. Danas je EC1 prenamijenjen u centar za nauku i tehnologiju te s jednim od najmodernijih planetarija u Europi. Tu je i sjedište Komisije za Lodz film i Nacionalni centar za filmsku kulturu, koji će tek biti otvoren sljedeće 2023. godine. Filmska kultura ima dugu tradiciju u Lodzu. Osim Oscarom nagrađivanih filmova "Ida" i "Hladan rat" režisera Pawela Pawlikowskog i "Powidoki" režisera Andrzeja Wajde, u filmskoj akademiji u Łodzu, svoje prve filmske korake ostvario je poznati kontroverzni redatelj, scenarist, producent i glumac Roman Polański. Zvijezdu s njegovim imenom utisnutu na nogostupu, možete vidjeti na ulici Piotrkowska, zajedno s ostalim poznatim ličnostima iz svijeta poljskog filma.

Još jedna novost od turističkih znamenitosti grada koja njihova turistička zajednica promovira je Zoo ili Orienterium, ne znam koja je poveznica između ta dva imena i ne znam kako kupiti kartu, ali nekako sam već uspio.. Vidim žirafe, neke ptičice, markate, majmunčiče, neke morske ribice, između ostalog koja mala ajkulica, indijski slon i bezbroj životinja koje su se sakrile negdje od začudo danas vrlo jakog sunca.. Lijepo je sve to vidjeti, no ulaznica za zoološki vrt je za moj pojam malo preskupa, ili ju ja samo uspoređujem sa zagrebačkim zoološkim vrtom. Možda ne računam na zapadnjačko ulaganje u grad pa se te silne investicije nekako moraju vratiti kroz cijene karata..

Momentalno je ovdje Univerzijada, studentske sportske igre, ne onakva raskošna kakva je bila 1987. u Zagrebu, nego puno skromnija. Centar je pun sportaša studenata, neki su na sokićima, neki ipak na pivici (alkoholnoj). Sve to podsjetilo me na moj nekad davni ljubavni vrtlog Hrvatska -Poljska, pa evo i sada kada sam na ulici čuo neke Zagrepčane s akreditacijama sportaša, na neki način isprepliću se i susreću se mladi životi kroz sportske studentske igre..

Iz tunela lodzskog židovskog geta u Europi, do tunela ljubavi u kojem sam se našao prije 17 godina postoje neke razlike.. I u mom slučaju svijetlo na kraju tunela ipak je značilo život, iako se tada činilo kao smrt.. 
Na odlasku sam na autobusnoj stanici Łódź Fabryczna . Kasna je ura, skoro će ponoć. U jesen 2004. kada sam prvi puta došao u ovaj grad, to je bilo upravo ovdje. Ovo je ujedno i gradska željeznička stanica, zapravo jedna od značajnijih i prometnijih. Prije je to bio jedan trošan željezničko-autobusni kolodvor, tipičan za one iz bivšeg komunističkog režima, s popucalim asfaltom na parkingu, izraubanim peronima i kolosijecima, ali s jednom dozom istočnoeuropske romantike koja mi je je još uvijek u dubokom sjećanju. Danas dolazim na jednu supermodernu autobusno-željezničku stanicu, kao duh prolazim kroz ulaz, nigdje nikoga oko mene, samo ogromne informativne table, gdjekoji putnik i zaštitari.. Što se dogodilo? Gdje su nestali ljudi, istrošene asfaltne ploče, stari vlakovi s kupeima? Možda je i bolje tako, jer ipak su to samo stara sjećanja..

Zbogom grad Łódź i Łódź Fabryczna.. Zbogom ulica Piotrkowska, pivnice i restorani, lijepi parkovi.. Zbogom ljudi koje sam nekad poznavao ovdje.. Zbogom stare ljubavi.. Zbogom stare uspomene.. Neka i ostanu u ovom gradu koji će zauvijek imati jedno posebno mjesto u mom srcu.. Ne znam hoćemo li se ikad ponovno vidjeti..
