What about Lewis holding his baby for the first time!
Ever since he said he wants to be the best dad all I could think about is giving him his very own football team 🥹🤭
pls this is so cute and i love that people have been giving me more lewis requests even if this is a little shorty<3
lewis couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he held his baby girl in his arms as she slept soundly. you both hadn’t chosen a name yet, but you weren’t in a rush seeing as the room was filled with tears and pain filled screams merely 45 minutes ago.
you watched the two of them together, as the baby rested on his bare chest quietly, lewis had been so excited to be a dad for as long as he could remember, and now he was getting his chance with you.
“she’s got your eyes my love…”
at the sound of your tired voice lewis looked up and smiled
“she’s got your nose though…god i can’t get enough of her”
“you’re the best daddy already you know that lew?”
he hummed softly, his hand rubbing up and down the baby’s back gently
“she’s so lucky to have us isn’t she…she’s so perfect in every way”
you couldn’t help but agree, she was the most perfect little girl and she was on lucky to be loved by you and lewis, love was something she’d never be short of ever
“there’s just one thing wrong…”
your hesitation had your husband looking back up at you, a hint of concern in his eyes
“what’s that honey?”
“we have to figure out a name”
at your answer he laughed softly, and you followed, if there was anything you both couldn’t agree on so far it was what her name was going to be…in all honestly you might have to ask the nurse to help you, because the way it was going, she’d be named ‘no name’ in no time.

mum said no | lewis hamilton
Tumblr media
an: i love hot ones <3 that’s all
After canceling many times, Lewis finally made his appearance on Hot Ones with Sean Evans. He was a big fan of the show so he was happy to finally get to be a guest. Not only was he a big fan, but so was his eleven year old daughter, Maeve, so naturally she accompanied him to the set.
Maeve Hamilton watched as her dad ate spicy wings and answered questions. When talking about Roscoe, Maeve payed close attention. She loved talking about Roscoe so much.
On the monitor, a picture of Roscoe and Maeve appeared. Maeve was wearing a black Lewis shirt that her mum had bought from an Etsy store while Roscoe licked her face. It was the British Grand Prix and Maeve, along with her sisters, was beyond excited.
“Look, Mavy, that’s you and Roscoe!” Lewis pointed to the screen. “That was taken last year. Do you remember?” Lewis asked his daughter.
Maeve looked at the picture and nodded. “Angela took it!”
“Is your family always at the races?” Sean asked.
“Most of the time during the summer, yeah. It’s always a great time when they’re in the garage, but when it’s school time, they stay home with their mum.” Lewis explained. “They don’t like that at all. But I always tell them education comes first.”
“But I get lots of good grades.” Maeve cut in.
“What’s your favorite subject?” Sean asked the girl.
“I like science.” Replied Maeve.
As the show went on, Maeve was seated next to the camera crew, laughing at her father. He was now taking bigger bites.
“You can do it!” Maeve cheered on.
“Thank you, baby. Love you.” Lewis chuckled and blew a kiss to the girl. “I can always count on my girls to cheer me on.”
“On the topic of family, is it possible that Formula One could get another Hamilton on the track? Or do they want to go into other careers?” Sean asked.
“At one point, they did say they wanted to, but now they’re discovering more careers that they’re interested in. I will support them in whatever choice they make.”
You and Lewis both knew that your daughters would never be Formula one drivers. You both talked about how hard it would be on them. He saw how fans were tough on Mick. He didn’t want his girls to go through that.
The wings got spicier and all Maeve could do was laugh at the faces Lewis was making. He drank milk but that barely helped. Tears were starting to come out his eyes. Maeve noticed and quickly went to her father’s side and used a clean napkin to clean the tears since she didn’t want him using his own hands that were covered in sauce.
“Thank you, baby.” Lewis said as Maeve cleaned up the tears.
“What kind of reaction do you get when somone pulls up alongside of you and then sees that it’s, you know, Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel next to them?” Sean questioned.
“Most people are just like ‘Holy Shit!’ um. . .” Lewis chuckled.
“They’re not revving their engine at you or anything?”
“I’ve had people, yeah traffic light that wanna race yeah.” He nodded. “Definitely when I was young, I felt like yeah. . . smoke this fool.” He laughed.
“This man wanted to race you yesterday!” Maeve spoke up. “Mum said no.”
“I got kids now!” Lewis laughed once again. “I got precious cargo, I can’t be fooling around.”
“And mum said no.” Maeve whispered to him.
“Yup, and mum said no.”

Daddy's little love
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Who is your favourite Disney Princess, Baby?” asked Anthony, Lewis’ dad, to his 4-year-old granddaughter. Cassie, who was busy getting her beautiful, long, curly hair done by her grandmother Linda, turned to Anthony with the biggest grin on her face.
“Tiana,” she proudly stated. “TIANA? Why’s that, hm?” he asked her, now sporting the same huge grin as the girl in the living room. “Because she is the prettiest of them all. And her prince is better than the other ones. OH, and their friends are so cool, because Ray is a firefly and his wife is a star. And their other friend, the crocodile, Louis, can play the trumpet. Oh, and Mama Odie makes the best gumbo in the whole wide world,” she answered, running towards Anthony.
The older Hamilton immediately picked her up, sitting little Cassie in front of him on the kitchen counter. “Ohh, is that so, young lady?” he jokingly asked her. “UHU,” she answered with a duh-tone. “Really?” “Uhu.” “Really.” Now the game between Cassie and her Poppy started.
Linda, who knew that this little game of theirs could go on for hours, called towards the young girl. “Cassie, honey, we still need to do your hair.” “But I don’t wanna, Loveyyyyy,” whined the 4-year-old. “Nuhu, don’t even look at me with those puppy eyes of yours,” she told her. However, Cassie tried to find a way out of the situation. “But why can’t Daddy do it for me?” she whined again. “You know why, Baby. Daddy can’t make those braids that you like,” Anthony answered, sensing the beginning of a little tantrum.
Both Anthony and Linda knew that Cassie hated getting her hair done. If the young Hamilton could, she would always have it open. However, with the hot weather and her playing the whole time with her cousins in the garden, everyone knew it was better to braid it back.
Before anyone could say anything else, a figure appeared in the doorway. “What’s that I’m hearing about Daddy?” asked Lewis, who was finally back home after the Mexican GP. He looked tired but happy. “DADDY!” squealed the young girl, immediately running towards her father with outstretched arms. Lewis, who knew his daughter better than himself, picked her up in his arms and held her close, releasing a sigh of relief now that he finally had his baby back in his arms. Her laughter was like music to his ears, and he couldn’t help but smile as she giggled like crazy while he kissed her cheeks repeatedly.
After a moment, he stopped and greeted her with the biggest smile ever. “Hello, my little love,” he said, his voice filled with warmth and affection. He could feel the stress of the race melting away as he held her.
Remembering the conversation he walked into, he carefully petted her hair and told her, “Go on, love. Let Lovey finish your hair, then we can go outside swimming.” Cassie pouted, her lower lip jutting out adorably. “But Daddy—” she began, her eyes wide with pleading. “Nuh-uh, Honey. Don’t even try it with me,” Lewis said, his tone gentle but firm. Cassie released the biggest sigh on earth before stomping towards her grandmother, her tiny feet making exaggerated thuds on the floor.
Thankfully, her older cousin Willow was also now in the living room, so the two cousins could play a game while Linda finished the two Dutch braids. Willow, always the patient one, smiled and pulled out a board game, setting it up on the coffee table. “Come on, Cassie, let’s play while Grandma finishes your hair,” she said, her voice soothing.
Lewis, who was watching the whole situation with an amused smile, turned towards his father and hugged him. “It’s good to have you back, boy,” Anthony whispered in his ear, his voice thick with emotion. “It’s good to be back, Dad,” Lewis answered while releasing the hug. He felt a wave of gratitude for his family, who always supported him no matter what.
After a moment, Lewis’s face turned serious, and he looked at his dad. “Hey, can we talk for a minute?” he asked. Anthony, sensing the gravity of the situation, turned his full attention to his son. With an encouraging nod, Lewis began.
“Dad, you know how important the Brazil Grand Prix is for me, right? This year, I was thinking of taking Cassie with me. This race isn’t just significant for me, but also for Mercedes. Plus, it’s my last year with the team,” he explained, his voice tinged with emotion.
Anthony took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts before responding. “Lewis, I understand how crucial this race is for you, but why do you feel the need to take Cassie with you?” he asked, his brow furrowed in concern.
“Well, Dad, it’s going to be such a meaningful race for me, and I want my favorite person there with me. Besides, the team and the other drivers are always asking about her. And Gloria, you know, Cassie’s babysitter, will also be there. She can watch over her while I’m racing,” Lewis replied, his eyes pleading for understanding.
Anthony paused for a moment, considering his son’s words. “Okay, I think that’s a really sweet idea. And we both know how much Cassie loves traveling with her daddy,” he said with a warm smile.
“Thanks, Dad. I guess I just needed to hear from someone that my idea isn’t completely insane,” Lewis said, relief washing over his face.
“No, don’t worry about it. Now go tell the little princess the good news,” Anthony encouraged, giving his son a reassuring pat on the back.
After an uneventful flight and a good nights rest, the little trio entered the paddock the next morning. Cassie clutched her father’s hand tightly as they walked into the bustling paddock. The young girl, with her curly hair bouncing in the warm breeze, wore a bright purple cap that read "Daddy's little Champion". It was a sea of activity, with mechanics, engineers, and media personnel buzzing around. This was Cassie’s first time attending a race outside of Silverstone, and her wide eyes took in every detail with a mix of awe and excitement.
Lewis,, was a seasoned pro in this environment, but today he felt a bit different. He was not just a world-class driver; he was an overprotective dad. He kept a close eye on Cassie, making sure she stayed close and safe amidst the chaos. The media quickly noticed the duo, and cameras started flashing, capturing the tender moments between father and daughter.
Lewis’s smile was tight as he waved politely to the cameras, but inside, he was less than thrilled about the attention. He had always been protective of Cassie, and the thought of her being in the spotlight made him uneasy. He bent down to her level, his voice gentle but firm. “Stay close to me, okay, Cassie? There’s a lot going on here.”
Cassie nodded, her curly hair bouncing with the movement. “Okay, Daddy.”
Beside them, Gloria, the babysitter, walked with a calm demeanor. At around 50 years old, she had a reassuring presence that both Lewis and Cassie appreciated. Gloria had been with the family for a while and knew how to keep Cassie entertained and safe. She smiled at Cassie, holding out a small toy car. “Look, Cassie, it’s just like Daddy’s car!”
Cassie’s face lit up as she took the toy, momentarily distracted from the overwhelming environment. Lewis gave Gloria a grateful nod. “Thanks, Gloria. I don’t know what we’d do without you.”
Gloria chuckled softly. “Just doing my job, Lewis. You focus on the race; I’ll keep an eye on our little racer here.”
As they made their way through the paddock, more media attention followed. Lewis did his best to shield Cassie from the cameras, but it was clear that their presence was a big deal. He sighed inwardly, wishing for a bit more privacy for his daughter. But seeing Cassie’s excitement and knowing Gloria was there to help made it all worthwhile.
“Alright, Cassie,” Lewis said, lifting her up so she could see over the crowd. “Let’s go find a good spot to watch the race. It’s going to be an exciting day.”
Cassie giggled, her nervousness melting away as she felt the familiar comfort of her father’s arms. With Gloria by their side, they were ready to face the day, media attention and all.
As they walked to the Garage, Cassie's wide eyes took in the sight of the famous cars, the hustle of the crew and the vibrant colours of the team uniforms. Other drivers like Lando, Charles, George and Daniel, couldn't help but stop and admire the adorable little girl.
"Hey there, little champ!" Lando said, waving at her. "Are you going to cheer for your dad today?" Cassie giggled and nodded. "He's the fastes!" she declared proudly, causing the drivers to melt at her sweetness. They all exchanged smiles, and for a moment, the competitive spirit of Formula 1 seemed to fade into the background, replaced by the warmth of Cassie's innocent joy.
As Lewis, Cassie and Gloria approached the Mercedes garage, Lewis introduced Cassie to his team principal. Toto, the usually angry Austrian, was particularly taken with her. "Well, if it isn't the youngest member of our team!" he said, picking her up and placing her on his lap. "How would you like to be the team principal for the day?"
Cassie's eyes widened in amazement. "Really? I can be in charge?" she squealed, bouncing slightly in excitement. Lewis, who was busy talking to Bono, turned towards his daughter and reminded her again : "Cassie, inside voice, ok?" "Sorry Daddy" she apologised cutely, warming Lewis heart at the sight of her.
Toto brought her attention back to their conversation. “Absolutely! You can help make all the important decisions,” Toto replied, grinning. He handed her a small headset, and Cassie put it on, feeling like a true boss.
“Okay, Cassie,” Toto continued, “let’s make sure the drivers are ready. We need to keep an eye on them!”
Cassie nodded seriously, trying her best to mimic the serious expressions of the adults around her. As she sat on Toto’s lap, she observed the team preparing for the race, her little fingers tapping away on the radio as if she were giving commands.
“Driver 44, are you ready?” she said into the headset, mimicking what she had heard the engineers say. The team chuckled at her adorable seriousness, and Lewis turned to give her a thumbs-up from across the garage.
As the pre-race festivities continued, Cassie found herself surrounded by the other drivers, who were all charmed by her presence. Daniel knelt down in front of her. “So, what’s your strategy for today?” he asked playfully.
“I think Daddy should go really fast and win!” she replied, her face lighting up with confidence. The drivers laughed, and Daniel gave her a mock salute. “A solid plan, Commander Cassie!”
Soon, it was time for the drivers to head to the grid. Toto carefully lifted Cassie off his lap and placed her back on the ground. “Are you ready to watch your dad race?” he asked her.
“Yay! Go, Daddy!” she cheered, waving her arms enthusiastically. Lewis leaned down to give her a kiss on the forehead before heading out to the grid. "I love you, my little love" he called back to her. "I love you more" she yelled. Turning towards his daughter, he said : "Impossible" before continuing his way. Their interaction gained laugher throughout the garage.
As the race began, Cassie was glued to the edge of her seat in the team hospitality area, her small hands gripping the railing as she watched the cars zoom past. With each lap, her excitement grew. “Go, Daddy! You can do it!” she shouted, her voice ringing out amidst the cheers of the crowd.
The race unfolded with thrilling intensity. Lewis battled fiercely against his competitors, maneuvering through tight corners and executing perfect overtakes. Cassie’s eyes were wide with awe as she watched her father, the adrenaline coursing through her tiny body with each lap.
During a particularly tense moment, where Lewis found himself in a tight spot battling for position, Cassie gasped and clutched the railing. “Come on, Daddy! You got this!” she yelled, her voice carrying over the noise of the engines.
Her encouragement seemed to resonate, as Lewis managed to pull off an incredible move, taking the lead. The crowd erupted in cheers, and Cassie jumped up and down, her laughter mingling with the roars of the fans.
“Look, Cassie! Your daddy’s in front!” Gloria said, smiling at her enthusiasm. She was having the time of her life, completely unaware of the high stakes of the race, so focused on her father’s performance.
As the race neared its conclusion, the tension was palpable. Lewis was vying for the victory, and Cassie could feel the excitement in the air. She leaned over the railing, her heart racing as the final laps approached. “You can do it, Daddy! Just go faster!” she shouted, her little fists clenched in determination.
When Lewis crossed the finish line, victorious once again, the roar of the crowd was deafening. Cassie squealed with delight, jumping up and down in sheer joy. “He did it! He won!” she exclaimed, clapping her hands together.
After the race, Lewis hurried to the team area, where Cassie was waiting, her face glowing with pride. He scooped her up in his arms, spinning her around. “Did you see that, Cassie? We did it!” he exclaimed, his heart swelling with happiness.
“You were the best, Daddy! I knew you could win!” she said, her eyes shining with admiration.
As the celebrations continued, Cassie found herself the center of attention. The drivers gathered around her, congratulating Lewis and showering her with affection. “You’re an amazing little team principal, Cassie,” Charles said, ruffling her hair.
Cassie beamed, soaking in all the praise. “I told him to go fast!” she said proudly, and the drivers laughed, each one charmed by her innocence and enthusiasm.
As the sun began to set over Brazil, casting a warm glow over the paddock, Lewis took Cassie aside. “You know, today was special not just because we won, but because I got to share it with you,” he said softly.
“I had the best day, Daddy! Can we come to every race together?” she asked, her eyes wide with hope.
“Of course, sweet pea. Every race, if you want. You’ll always be my lucky charm,” Lewis replied, giving her a warm hug.
The day ended with fireworks illuminating the sky, and Cassie watched in awe, her heart full. She had stepped into a world of speed and excitement, and in doing so, had forged an unforgettable bond with her father. As they headed back to their hotel, Cassie rested her head on Lewis’s shoulder, dreaming of race tracks and fast cars, knowing that this was just the beginning of their adventures tog

👑Track 10 - King of My Heart
wow, it has been a hot minute since I've uploaded. I apologize for my summer hiatus but it was so busy, there was very little time for me to get away to put thought into this. I always believe in writing to my very best for you all, and not half-assing something. thank you for being patient, and good luck with this chapter (you're going to need it.)
TAG LIST IS CLOSED
In terms of the British back to 1776 in Silverstone, there was no sending the British back to 1776 in Silverstone. A turn one incident involving you, Logan, and Oscar saw all three cars DNF. It wasn’t a weekend to write home about. However, the three of you stood below during the podium celebration to be there for Lewis. You can’t remember if you had ever seen the older man cry, but his tears of fulfillment of the 104th win had you crying as well.
And then came Hungary, which was a turnaround from Silverstone. You had found yourself not far behind the two McLarens, which would be an automatic podium for you if you could keep it steady. And then came the pitstops.
“Which car is ahead?” you questioned over your radio as you saw a McLaren come out of the pits. Andretti had decided to pit you a lap before, hoping that your tyres would be to the best temperature by the time the rest stopped.
“That is Oscar. He is 1.375 seconds ahead.”
That had you curious since Oscar had been leading every lap so far.
“Oscar?”
“Correct. The undercut him with Norris.”
“Are they going to swap positions?”
“I like how you’re thinking.”
“Tell Logan to be ready.”
And ready he was. When Lando finally decided to swap back with Oscar, the two of you were ready for the sudden deceleration and were able to overtake him at the next corner. The crowds were going wild.
Alex in the commentary box couldn’t stop yelling. “WHAT A MOVE FROM THE TWO LAMBOS! UNBELIEVABLE STUFF! NORRIS CANNOT BE HAPPY RIGHT NOW!”
When you and Logan got out of your cars, you immediately rushed to each other.
“Babe that was so crazy!” he yelled through his helmet.
You gripped his shoulders. “I know! I can’t believe it work! I’m glad you were ready!”
Logan looked around. “Where’s Osc?”
The two of you turned to where his car was still parked, helmet still evidently on and him still in the cockpit. The both of you quickly stepped over and reached down in. It took you a minute to clock the tear streaks on Oscar’s face. However, you knew he needed to get out of the car for Logan to hug. The American male all but yanked the poor Aussie out to bring him into a hug.
“Don’t you dare listen to what anyone has to say. This was your win,” you heard Logan tell him as they were in their hug.
Oscar nodded slightly, mostly thankful that it would be the two of you on the podium and not his hot-headed teammate. He could feel someone glaring at him, but before he could worry about it, he was being ushered to the weighing stations.
On his way, he was stopped by Max and Charles, the duo laying massive congratulations on him.
“I’m proud of you, son,” Charles said with a wink, to which Oscar only rolled his eyes.
“Thanks, dad.”
Oscar might have imagined it, but he could swear he saw the Monegasque’s eyes soften.
Next was the Britcedes, who, like the first pair, was quick to congratulate him on his maiden win. Through all the words of encouragement, Oscar could feel like he deserved this win. Which, he did, but when your teammate hates you for it, it doesn’t feel as sweet.
Yet, the Australian anthem sounded clearer than ever as he stood on that top step. He could see Mark down below, looking like a proud dad with his phone out in front, probably recording everything.
The Aussie didn’t have even a moment’s notice before he was drenched in champagne.
“Ok, ok, you can stop!” he tried to yell, but you and Logan weren’t having it until Oscar properly smiled, teeth and all.
Later that night, Oscar scrolled through Twitter but was surprised to see so many positive comments about his win. Sure, there were some Lando accounts who wished a DNF for him next race, but the positive ones were all that mattered.
Spa was a different story.
After a short drought, you had finally found yourself back on the top step. Lewis was beside you along with Oscar.
When you had pressed for a 1-stop during the race, the team was still questioning you. Yet, you were able to prove yourself right. You sighed in relief as you heard the Star-Spangled Banner for the first time in a while. As of right now, you didn’t care if you were leading the championship or in P2 or P3. You were just happy to be back on top.
Until the post came later that night.
You weren’t sure what to do. A part of your brain said that it was your fault. That you should have listen to the team and done a two-stop race.
To have a win stripped away made you feel hollow inside.
Logan got back to your hotel room almost immediately after the statements had been made. His heart broke to see tears on your face. He got in the bed with you and wrapped his arms around your shoulders.
“Talk to me darlin’,” he whispered.
You laid your head on his shoulder. “I just want to go home.”
“I’ll make that happen for you, don’t worry.”
Your eyes soften as you looked at him. Your lips gently touched his, echoing the tender moment in the hotel room.
“King of my heart. It was always you.”
Logan got to work to get plane tickets for that night. If you didn’t want to stay, he would do everything to get you out as fast as possible. The two of you arrived in Florida the next morning. You sighed once you reached your bed and flopped face first into the plus covers.
Logan put the bags down and joined you soon after. You were sleepy, but you didn’t want to fall asleep and mess up your schedule.
“What are you wanting to do for the break, baby?” Logan murmured as you two just basked in each other’s company.
Your fingers played with the hem of his shirt. “I think I just want to stay here. No racing, just the quiet.”
Logan’s chest vibrated with a hum. “I think my family are going to St. Tropez for a bit. I can always say that I’m not going.”
You turned your head up to face him. “No, please don’t miss out because I’m wallowing in self-pity. Go have fun with your family.”
He hugged you a bit tighter. “Do you want to see if Charles or Max would let you visit?”
Your shoulders upturned in a shrug. “Maybe. For now, can we just stay here.”
“Of course, darlin’.”
“I know I’ve been sad the past few days but thank you for letting me hide in your shadow for a bit. You are so good to me.”
“Always, my gorgeous girl.”
Turns out, Charles was more than happy to let you come visit him when Logan went to St. Tropez. You definitely got enough puppy love from Leo to last a while decade. You enjoyed your time with Alexandra and her friends, often finding yourself shopping for new outfits.
The gentle rocking of the yacht always made you so sleepy. It felt like one of Logan’s warm hugs that made your often busy mind grow silent. He was your anchor in the waves of your life, always keeping you steady.
Summer break was going great, until it wasn’t.
“Y/n, have you seen Logan’s new post?”
Charles had a serious tone, which made your heart drop. You quickly reached for your phone, unlocking it as quickly as humanly possible. Your hands shook as you opened Instagram. His post was the first one you saw.
You heard a quiet gasp over your shoulder as you swiped through the pictures. They were all nice, except for the second one. A hand was placed on your lower back. Your head turned to Alex and then back to your phone, tears in your eyes.
“That’s his ex, right?”
“He didn’t tell me she was going to be there. It looks like they’re together, together.”
Charles ripped your phone out of your hand before throwing it onto one of the plush couches on the deck.
“He doesn’t matter. Let’s go swimming.”
The cool water did wonders for your head, and you forgot about the whole incident. Later, Charles had told you that he texted Logan that your phone had fallen overboard and wouldn’t be able to respond. He also mentioned that you wanted to stay a bit longer and would see him in the Netherlands.
You hugged Charles so tight, the Monegasque thought you might have left bruises.
On the other side of the world, Logan was wondering how your phone fell off the boat and why you weren’t wanting to come back after the two of you decided to go to the Netherlands together. He was frustrated and pretty peeved. His phone had also fallen off their rented yacht, and his manager was up his ass about a summer break post for his Instagram.
Something about how the people needed to know that he was doing fine amidst having a small gap in the championships. So, he decided to ask his friend if he could email his manager some pictures.
The rest of the time, he enjoyed the sun and tried to stay away from his ex, whom he had no clue was even going to be there. He took one picture because she wouldn’t stop whining about it. You weren’t there, and all he wanted was some peace and quiet.
But now that he was in the Netherlands and it was race week, he could feel some tension he didn’t know was there. Your smile didn’t quite meet your eyes when you looked at him, and you refused to be physical with him in any ways.
Charles was also giving him the cold shoulder. Thankfully, everyone else seemed oblivious as to what was happening. Logan still didn’t have a phone. Well, he did but his manager had yet to give it to him with promises of handing it over after the race.
The podium in Zandvoort was nothing special. Max was able to win his home race after Lando made another error near the end, putting him from P1 to P5. You were on the podium, and Logan was a bit thankful that he was in P4 so he wouldn’t have to watch you avoid him.
Charles completed you and Max, earning a P3 after an early overtake at the start.
Logan had to watch with sad eyes as you didn’t even look at him once.
When he got back to the hotel, he was surprised to see you sitting on his bed.
“Hi baby,” he gently said. You only let out a sigh.
“We need to talk.”
The blond was quick to pick up on the tension in the air and nodded his head. He took a seat in the chair that was in the corner. He stayed silent as he waited for you start.
“I think we need to have a break.”
Someone probably heard Logan’s heart drop. His eyes immediately welled up with tears as he leaned forward and reached for you. His heart broke when you flinched back from him.
“I-I don’t understand?”
“Logan, I saw your summer post.”
He cocked his head. “Yeah, it was me, my mom and dad, Dalton, and our friends. Baby, you knew this.”
You rolled your eyes. “And?”
Logan went over everyone that was there. When it hit him, he deeply sighed. “I didn’t know she was going to be there, I swear.”
You weren’t having any of it. “Then why did you post that picture of her and you? You made me look like a fool, Logan.”
He winced as the harshness of his name escaping your lips.
“I didn’t. My manager did because my phone fell off the boat. I would never do anything with her darlin’ you know this.”
The tears that were in your eyes finally fell, putting the last nail in the coffin that held Logan’s heart.
“I’ve been hurt before, and I think I just need to step back.”
Logan’s head fell between his hands. He reached out for you once again, and this time you didn’t flinch. Once your hands were in his, he slowly got down on his knees in front of you. His sad blue eyes looked into yours.
“I will wait for you until you’re ready. I promise you.”
You gently leaned down and connected your forehead to his. “Thank you. You are so good.”
After a bit, you stood up and grabbed your duffle bag that was on the bed. Logan refused to watch you go, and the minute the door closed, his sobs echoed in the now empty room. He didn’t care if you heard him or the room next door, but his heart hurt.
He was getting to the point of hysterical when he pulled out his new phone. He immediately went to Instagram and deleted the post. It wouldn’t change anything, but it would stop future damage from being done.
Logan sat alone on the bed, not knowing what to do. He couldn’t call anyone that was close, scared of the repercussions from your little family. He scrolled through his contacts until he found a name.
Praying that he would pick up, Logan brought the phone to his ear, whispering “Please pick up” over and over.
Finally, the dial tone stopped, and a voice sounded in his ear.
“Logan?”
“I messed up, Alex. And I don’t know how to fix it.”

the bestest - lh44
summary: lewis hamilton wins the silverstone grand prix, and his daughter thinks he's the bestest. wc: 1.7k. based on this request
MASTERLIST | MY PATREON
Tumblr media
The British Grand Prix always carried a unique significance, but this year felt particularly momentous. Fans filled the stands, waving flags and banners, their cheers echoing through the circuit.
For Lewis, this year felt extra special because his wife and little girl were joining him, and that was enough to give him an extra boost of motivation for the upcoming race.
Alana Hamilton is just four years old, and she's the light of your lives. She's a curious child who always has a smile for everyone, her bright eyes constantly scanning her surroundings for new wonders to discover.
And she has her father completely wrapped around her tiny finger, everybody knew it.
Alana clung to your hand as you made your way to the paddock, her eyes wide with wonder at the spectacle around her. She had been to races before, but this time she was more aware of her surroundings and everything happening.
“Mommy, look at all the people!” Alana exclaimed, her eyes wide with wonder as she held your hand. “They’re all here for Daddy?”
“Yes, sweetheart, a lot of them are here to see Daddy race," you smiled at her, "He has a lot of fans who love to cheer him on."
“I’m going to cheer the loudest!”
Alana’s gaze followed every movement, her curiosity sparking with each new discovery. She was soaking it all in—the hustle of the team members, the hum of the engines, the vibrant colors of the team uniforms.
When you and Alana arrived at the team garage, Lewis was there, busy with pre-race preparations. He looked up, his face lighting up at the sight of his family.
“There’s my little girl,” he said, bending down to scoop Alana into his arms.
Alana giggled, her small arms wrapping around his neck. “Daddy, are you going to win today?” she asked, her voice full of hopeful excitement.
Lewis brushed a kiss on her forehead. “I’m going to give it my all, princess. With you cheering me on, I have a really good feeling about today.”
As Lewis held Alana, George Russell, his teammate, walked by and smiled warmly at the scene.
"Well, if it isn't the Hamiltons, my favorite family," he said, his tone friendly and genuine.
Alana's face lit up with recognition. She remembered George from previous encounters and team events. "George!" she exclaimed, waving enthusiastically from her perch in Lewis's arms.
"Hello there, little champion," George chuckled, giving Alana a gentle high-five. "Are you excited for the race today?"
"Yes! Daddy's going to win because he's the bestest driver in the whole wide world!" she declared with innocent confidence, looking at Lewis with adoring eyes.
Lewis couldn't help but beam with pride, though he tried to maintain a humble demeanor. "Well, I don't know about that, sweetheart. There are a lot of great drivers out here today."
"But you're the bestest, Daddy," Alana insisted, her conviction unshakeable.
George laughed good-naturedly. "Well, Lewis, looks like you've got your biggest fan right here. No pressure or anything," he teased.
You smiled, watching the interaction. It was heartwarming to see how the team had become like an extended family, especially for Alana.
"Alright, princess," Lewis said, giving Alana one more squeeze, "Daddy needs to finish getting ready for the race. You be good for Mommy, okay?"
Alana's grip tightened around Lewis's neck, her little face scrunching up in defiance. "No, Daddy, don’t go!"
“Sweetie, Daddy has to race now," you gently stroked her back, "We’ll be right here watching him the whole time.”
As Alana clung tighter to Lewis, her eyes welling up with tears, you could see the conflict on your husband's face. He hated leaving her upset, but the race was about to start.
"Hey, princess," Lewis said softly, gently prying her arms from around his neck. "Remember what we talked about? Daddy has to go fast in the car so he can come back to you even quicker."
Alana's lower lip trembled, but she nodded, reluctantly loosening her grip. "Okay, Daddy. Be fast and be safe."
"I will, princess. I promise," Lewis kissed her forehead tenderly.
He handed her to you, and Alana nestled into your arms, still watching Lewis with wide, admiring eyes. He turned to you next, his expression softening.
"I'll see you both soon. I love you."
You smiled, leaning in to kiss him. "Be safe out there."
With one last glance at his family, Lewis turned and headed towards his car, his determination renewed by the love and support he carried with him.
As you made your way to the VIP viewing area, Alana's eyes darted everywhere, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling circuit. The roar of engines filled the air as the cars lined up on the grid.
"Look, baby," you pointed, "There's Daddy's car. Number 44, remember?"
Alana nodded eagerly, her eyes fixed on the sleek silver Mercedes. "Go, Daddy, go!" she shouted, even though the race hadn't started yet.
Throughout the race, you explained what was happening in simple terms Alana could understand. She cheered every time Lewis's car came into view, her enthusiasm making everyone around melt.
"Daddy's car is going so fast! He's the bestest!" Alana exclaimed, her eyes wide with wonder.
When the final lap came, the tension was palpable. You held Alana close, her little hands clutching your shirt as she watched Lewis take the lead. As he crossed the finish line first, the grandstands erupted in roars.
Alana’s eyes widened in amazement. “Mommy, did Daddy win?”
“He did, sweetheart!” you exclaimed, hugging her tightly. “Daddy won!”
"Daddy won! Daddy won!" she chanted, her voice filled with pure joy.
You couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm, your own heart swelling with pride. "Let's go see Daddy, shall we?" you suggested, taking her hand.
You hurried to the pit lane, eager to congratulate Lewis. As he climbed out of the car, the sight of you and Alana brought a huge smile to his face. He reached out, and Alana practically leapt into his arms.
“Daddy!” she shouted, hugging him tightly. “You did it!”
Lewis laughed, his eyes shining with happiness. “We did it, baby girl.”
Lewis held Alana with one arm and reached out to pull you into the embrace with the other. The three of you stood there, a little island of family amidst the chaos of the celebration.
"I'm so proud of you," you whispered to Lewis, giving him a quick kiss.
Alana, not wanting to be left out, planted a big kiss on Lewis's cheek. "Me too, Daddy! You're the bestest ever!"
As the celebrations continued around you, Lewis kept Alana in his arms, not wanting to let her go. She had always been clingy with him, especially since he was away a lot of weekends for races. She missed him a lot, and every moment they spent together was precious to her.
When it was time for the post-race interview, Lewis tried to set Alana down, but she clung to him, her small hands gripping his suit. “No, Daddy, hold me.”
“Come on, sweetheart, let Daddy do his interview,” you coaxed.
Lewis looked at you with a soft smile. "It's okay, I'll take her with me. I'll pay whatever fine the FIA gives me," he said, adjusting Alana in his arms. You couldn't help but chuckle, knowing how much this moment meant to both of them.
As Lewis approached the interview area, he saw a familiar face waiting for him - Nico Rosberg, his former teammate and rival. Nico's eyebrows raised slightly at the sight of Lewis carrying Alana, a small smile making its way to his face.
"Lewis, congratulations on your win today," Nico began, microphone in hand. "And I see you've brought a special guest with you."
Lewis grinned, bouncing Alana slightly in his arms. "Yeah, this is my daughter Alana. She's my good luck charm today."
"Hello there, Alana," Nico smiled warmly at her, "Did you enjoy watching your dad race today?"
Alana, suddenly shy in front of the camera, buried her face in Lewis' neck but peeked out with one eye. "Daddy is the bestest," she mumbled.
The crowd around them collectively "aww'ed" at her adorable response. Lewis chuckled, patting her back gently.
"Well, Lewis," Nico continued, "that was an incredible drive today. Can you talk us through that final lap?"
As Lewis answered, discussing the intricacies of the race, Alana stayed nestled in his arms, occasionally lifting her head to look around curiously and playing with the zipper of her father's suit.
When the interview concluded, it was time for the podium ceremony. Lewis knew he couldn't take Alana up there with him, no matter how much he wished he could.
"Alright, princess," he said softly, "Daddy has to go up on the big stage now. Can you stay with Mommy and watch?"
Alana's grip tightened, her lower lip trembling. "No, Daddy, I want to stay with you!"
You stepped forward, gently prying Alana from Lewis's arms. "Come on, sweetheart. Let's watch Daddy get his big trophy. We can wave to him from here."
Reluctantly, Alana allowed herself to be transferred to your arms, her eyes never leaving Lewis. As he walked towards the podium, he turned back to blow a kiss to both of you.
You found a good spot near the podium, holding Alana up so she could see clearly. Her eyes widened as she watched Lewis climb the steps to the top of the podium.
"Look, baby," you said, pointing. "There's Daddy on the top step. That means he won!"
Alana's face lit up with pride and excitement. "Daddy won! Daddy won!" she chanted, clapping her hands.
As the British national anthem played and Lewis stood tall on the podium, trophy in hand, Alana watched in awe. When Lewis spotted you two in the crowd, he gave a special wave and blew a kiss your way, making Alana squeal with delight.
"He sees us, Mommy!" she exclaimed, waving back furiously.
You hugged her close, your heart full of love for your little family. "Yes, he does, sweetheart. He's waving just for you."
As the champagne spray began, Alana giggled at the sight of her daddy getting all wet. It was a perfect end to a perfect day, one that you knew would be etched in your family's memories forever.

Just Tattoo Of Us | LH44
Summary: Y/n & Lewis give a tattoo tour for GQ
a/n: I've rewritten this like 10 times
"Hey GQ, I'm Lewis Hamilton-"
"And I'm Y/n L/n-Hamilton. And we're here to give tattoo tours!" You looked over at Lewis on your left to smile at him.
"Ladies first." He murmured to you. You grinned and turned to the camera. Sweeping your braids over your shoulders, you sat up straighter on your stool.
"Where do I start? I think I've got well over 20 tattoos. I once got 5 in one month which were all impulsive decisions but I've never regretted a tattoo!" You exclaimed happily.
Lewis raised an eyebrow at you and smirked slowly. "Even the one on your l-" Your hand was quick to slap across his mouth
"Lewis, hush up. Hush up right now!" You threatened him as he giggled mischievously. He placed a hand over yours then proceeded to lick your palm in retaliation. "Ew!" You squeeled.
When he finally released your hand, you gathered yourself.
"Okay, so let's start with my oldest." The camera zoomed in on your left arm. "This is my hall of fame. Or my arm of fame. All the cool things I did in my twenties and thirties are memorialised here. I have a plane for the time I went skydiving, mountains for my longest hike, vines for the time I fell into vicious poison ivy - it was not a fun month following that. I have a trident for the time I went scuba diving and nearly drowned - fun times. Next to that I have the cutest fish I ever saw in my life. They came up to me and I felt like a proper Disney princess-"
"She is a princess." Lewis interrupted smiling warmly at the camera. The screen captured your goofy smile as you became flustered. 10 years with your husband and not a day went by without him flirting with you.
"Simp! Get on with the video!" Yelled Miles from behind the camera set up. You laughed at his antics as Lewis turned to him with mock annoyance and glared at him.
"Mind your business, Miles!" He returned.
The director motioned for you two to carry on with the video.
"Moving on. I have more bits and bobs on this arm, but we don't have much time." You said brushing your hand up and down the length of your arm. The camera followed your movements.
"I really love your sleeve. Every time I look at it, I'm reminded of all that you've accomplished, and it makes me happy to know that I was included in some of the stories." Your husband said to you. You felt your heart melt in your chest and drop down into your stomach to transform into a million butterflies. The camera focused on his love sick smile.
"Thank you, love. Okay, your turn. You already did an old video with GQ once, yeah?" You asked him.
"Yeah, in 2018."
"Okay, then start with all the tats you've got since then. Don't forget my favourite!" You waggled your eyebrows at him.
"Oi," he laughed, "keep this pg." You laughed and raised your arms in mock surrender.
"Yeah! There are kids watching!" Miles yelled again.
The camera captured a slow-mo of Lewis' bare arms and legs. His blue sleeveless top and white shorts allowed for you (and the viewers) to freely ogle his limbs. His muscles rippled and flexed as he moved to get comfortable on his stool.
"By the time I was 40, I had most of my upper half covered in tattoos," he laughed softly. "but I had left my left arm free for a super special sleeve." The camera captured his left arm, which was quite different from his right as it had many colourful tattoos as well as 5 beaded bracelets on his wrist.
"You've all seen the clock tattoo at the top, me and my dad. Under that, you've got my boy Roscoe, who unfortunately is no longer with us. I got this tatted when he began to get more sick and the vet warned us he would not last it til the end of the year." Lewis' voice cracked a little as he spoke. The camera showed the image of the tattoo - roscoe's sweet face, his nose imprints and his pawprints. "I wanted him to see it before he left."
Your eyes were glossy as you watched your husband speak. The loss of his best friend shook your little family, and his presence was sorely missed every day. Coco's passing had affected Lewis badly but Roscoe's really knocked him down and there was a time when you were worried that he might not emotionally recover.
"Under that, we've got a sapphire stone and a double rainbow, both in colour, for our first daughter. I got these the day she was born, after making sure Y/n was okay and settled at home of course. Hands down in my top 3. I didnt even feel a thing, I was so estatic." You both laughed at that.
"He actually told me he was popping out to run errands then two hours later came back with fresh tattoos! I was so shocked!" You said to the cameras grinning.
"You were more prepared for the next two tattoos though." His brown eyes crinkled as he grinned at you, reaching for your hand to hold.
"Oh, yeah. Definitely. Our daughters love the tattoos dedicated to them. They call them their Daddy's Special Stickers." You smiled fondly at every memory that contained your three little girls tracing and colouring in their father's tattoos. They often begged Lewis to draw a replica of their birthstone and name representation onto their arms so everyone could match. You had the initials of their first names as well as flowers below your c-section scar. The tattoo wasn't perfect due to the stretching and contracting of your skin around the area but it was still a beautiful tattoo.
"I've got an emerald and an arrow for my second daughter, as well as a pearl and a maple leaf for my third. It seems random from the outside, but i promise it makes sense." He laughed softly. "The funny thing is that all my girls have personalities that match their tattoos which makes me feel even happier about my decision to get them!"
"Yeah, Lewis has a big head because of this. So many family members were worried about the decision to get a tattoo on the DAY of your child's birth, but once our girls started talking and walking, everyone shut up. It was like he predicted it." You chimed in.
"The next tat after that is a garnet stone with a lion. That's for my little boy. He was born prematurely so I wasn't yet ready to get the tat and I wasn't sure if it was the right one but after he survived a week in the NICU, I knew I had picked the perfect pieces once again." He sighed happily as he reminisced on how it felt to hold his tiny baby boy for the first time at the hospital.
Your eyes were glossy once more but you couldn't help but quip, "See how his head grew a centimeter larger there?" Your voice trembled slightly and you tried to laugh without accidentally sobbing. Lewis' own glossy eyes met yours and he removed your hand from his grasp to pull you into a side hug, kissing the side of your head. Miles ran on-screen to give you both one big group hug and you all sniffled and laughed together.
The birth of your youngest child was traumatic and nerve-wrecking (literally). You were so grateful that you had your loving family there for support. Miles may have been the most annoying out of all of Lewis' friends but he was also the most loving. He had become your brother and best friend too.
"Okay, get out of here. You stink." You joked as you pushed him away and dabbed at your eyes.
Lewis and Miles laughed. Miles went back to stand off camera. "I love you too, Y/N"
"Alright. Can we have a round of rapid fire questions? You will ask your partner a question based on your tattoos and they will point out an answer. First example, Lewis, what is your favourite tattoo on Y/n?"
Lewis turned to you, and this time, his eyes shone with mischief. You grinned naughtily at him, knowing what he was thinking. On your honeymoon, you had gone to a tattoo parlor for new tattoos. Lewis had somehow managed to convince the artist to let him have a go at tracing your tattoo. The initial placement you had thought of was on your shoulder, but Lewis jokingly suggested he do it himself at the top of your inner thigh. Deliriously high on your love for this man, you agreed. And it was done. Lewis sat beside your table as you lay on your side with your left leg propped up and tattooed the word "mine" to the top of your right thigh, centimeters from your thong. You were wet the whole time.
"Um, I think she knows the answer to this one." You both giggled like teenagers. "My second favourite, is this one." He lifted your conjoined hands and kissed your ring finger which was adorned with heavy diamonds.
Keeping eye contact with him, you slid off your rings to reveal his initials tattooed to your ring finger. He smirked sexily as the camera zoomed in to capture the details. L.C.D.H carved in his handwriting in black ink. You squeezed your legs together in response to his look. It was becoming difficult to remember where you were. The internet would definitely have a field day with this video.
"Y/n, your favourite tattoo on Lewis?" The director asked.
"Besides the ones that represent our kids? Hm, this one right here." You traced the tattoo of a lipstick stained kiss on the inside of his left wrist. It was fairly new, about 2 months old. It was in the shade of your favourite lip combo.
"I like this one too." He murmured. "My turn again. If you could only keep one of your tattoos, which would it be?"
You immediately pointed to your collarbones. Thanks to your corset top, the camera was able to pick up the tats. "This is what I call the pathway to heaven. It's the tiny paw prints of my childhood pets as well as all the senior fosters that passed in my care." The image on screen was of black paw prints of cats and dogs that led to your heart, starting from your collarbone. You got your first paw print at 17 as your first tattoo and when you decided to foster animals you discovered that senior animals were more likely to spend their last years at shelters and you couldn't have that. 15 foster babies later, one paw for each sweetheart, and you had your pathway to heaven. The heartache of losing a pet was difficult but seeing their joyful faces made the pain easier. You hoped you weren't done adding to the collection.
Lewis had heard the stories about this design and the pets many many times, but he felt his heart grow bigger. Your love was endless, and that made you more beautiful in his eyes. He didn't know how he went half his life without knowing you. You were his everything, and you knew him like nobody else did. Every second spent with you was equivalent to a year in any spiritual eternal paradise to him.
"What's your next tattoo going to be, Lewis?" The director asked him. Lewis nearly didn't hear him as he was still daydreaming about you.
"Mine? Uh-"
"Maybe Y/n's whole face on your face." Miles suggested then cackled at himself. You snorted.
"Yeah, I've already made being her husband my whole personality. Might as well commit." He joined in on the joke, grinning at the camera.
"Oh my gosh, I would love that." You said. "Let's book the appointment now!"
Everyone in the studio laughed with your trio.
The scene cut to the two of you.
"Thank you GQ for having us. This was the Hamiltons' tattoo tour."

𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: very cute fluffy dad! lewis
𝐚/𝐧: i couldn’t resist writing this blurb, he gives off dad vibes constantly 🥹🥹
❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Charlotte loved Christmas, she loved helping you decorate the tree, helping her daddy set up all the lights outside, and adored dressing roscoe up in funny hats and sweaters. She also loved to bake cookies for santa and making sure Lewis knew the plate for him was off limits.
“Daddy!!”
You laughed, watching your five year old little girl climb off her kitchen stool, her curls bouncing as she ran towards the special stand where her plate would go for santa clause
“Yes darling?”
“Come here please!” she called back, standing with her hands on her hips, she was precious and got her sassy attitude from her dad, and you found it too adorable.
“Oh you look like you mean business princess…”
Lewis smiled biting back a laugh as he walked over and kneeled in front of his daughter
“See this plate daddy?”
“Yes I see it baby”
She nodded before pointing a finger at him, her eyes stern
“I made cookies for santa okay? So when I put the plate here and his glass of milk no touching okay daddy?”
Lewis wanted to laugh so bad, truth be told you couldn’t hold back the giggles either
“Mummy this is serious!!” she squealed, not impressed to see you amused
“I’m sorry my love, you’re right it’s not funny, right daddy?”
You watched your husband nod
“Mummy is right, I promise I won’t eat any of santa’s cookies or drink his milk I promise…”
Charlotte seemed pleased enough with this answer but still stuck her pinky finger out for him to link with his, the father-daughter duo always sticking to their pinky promises.
“And daddy…”
“Yes baby?”
Charlotte smiled innocently before holding his face gently in her hands
“If you eat a cookie or drink the milk, you’re on the naughty list which means you get only coal for Christmas!”
Lewis smiled letting out a soft laugh
“I promise I won’t princess..”
“Good! Thank you daddy!”
She yelled before taking off towards the kitchen, straight past you to continue decorating her cookies, a smile on he little face.
“Well she definitely gets her dramatics from you love…” Lewis said, coming up to kiss you softly to which you rolled your eyes jokingly
“Mhm but she got her sass from you…guess we know she’s our daughter for sure”
There was no doubt in the world of that, Charlotte was the perfect mix of you and Lewis, she might be opinionated and know what she wants, but at the end of the day she was the sweetest angel in the entire world.
Until someone threatened to eat santa’s cookies…never go for the cookies…

Memories
Pairing: dad!lewis x wife!reader
author’s note: im a sucker for dad lewis
Tumblr media
As the morning sunlight poured into the kitchen, painting everything in a soft golden hue, you took a moment to relish the peace of the morning. The gentle sounds of breakfast being prepared filled the air, mingling with the comforting aroma of coffee and pancakes.
“Morning, love,” Lewis greeted you with a smile, his eyes bright with affection as he tended to the stove. “Breakfast is almost ready. The kids are already up and about in the living room.”
Taking the cup of coffee he offered, you breathed in its warmth, feeling a sense of gratitude for these simple moments. “Thanks, Lewis,” you murmured, taking a sip. “I’ll go check on them.”
Entering the living room, you were met with a scene straight out of a family movie. Chanel, your daughter, twirled around in your heels, her laughter filling the room, while Cole, your son, built a cushion fort with meticulous care.
“Morning, Mommy!” Chanel greeted you with a wide grin, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “Look at me, I’m a fashion queen!”
You couldn’t help but chuckle at her antics, but you knew you had to set some boundaries. “Chanel, sweetie, those are Mommy’s shoes,” you gently reminded her, trying to balance firmness with love.
With an exaggerated sigh, Chanel kicked off the heels, muttering something about unfair rules under her breath. Joining her brother in the cushion fort, she continued her play with renewed enthusiasm.
Watching your children, you felt a wave of gratitude wash over you. Despite the chaos, these moments were what made parenthood so special.
Back in the kitchen, you helped Lewis finish breakfast, enjoying the quiet camaraderie between you. As you set the table, you couldn’t help but smile at the thought of your family gathered together.
Sitting down to eat, conversation flowed easily, punctuated by laughter and the occasional spill. It was these simple moments of togetherness that made everything worthwhile.
After breakfast, as Lewis headed out for his training, you were left alone with the kids. But even in his absence, his presence lingered in the warmth of the house.
When Lewis returned later that evening, tired but happy, you welcomed him with open arms. Together, you shared stories of your day, finding solace in each other’s company.
As night fell, Lewis suggested a movie night, and the kids eagerly agreed. Snuggled together on the couch, you watched as your children laughed and cheered, their joy contagious.
In that moment, surrounded by the people you loved most in the world, you couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. These were the moments that made life worth living, the moments that filled your heart with love and happiness.
As the movie ended and the kids drifted off to bed, you and Lewis lingered on the couch, basking in the quiet of the evening. It was during these stolen moments that you cherished the most, when the world seemed to slow down and it was just the two of you, wrapped up in each other’s arms.
“I love you,” Lewis whispered, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
“I love you too,” you replied, feeling the weight of those words settle deep within your soul.
Together, you sat in comfortable silence, content in each other’s presence. And as you drifted off to sleep, you couldn’t help but feel grateful for the beautiful chaos and joy that filled your life, knowing that as long as you had each other, everything would be okay.

Mercedes Golden Girl - Grid x MercedesSplit! Reserve Driver
Plot: You are the woman to have come the furthest in modern Formula 1, as reserve driver for 3/10th of the grid she's thrown about the shop in the season of 2024.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Y/N Y/L/N was a name in Motorsport History books. She had currently come the furthest a woman has in F1 in many years.
Following in Oscar Piastri's footsteps, you won F3 in 2022 two years after him while he was storming through F2. You had an extremely dominant season being 30 points ahead of the next person behind you.
F3 wasn't too bad, you had one other girl with you that you were able to hang out with, as the boys were all the same in F3.
It was harder in 2023 when you graduated to F2 and were the only girl on the grid. Obviously you made friends with the boys but you always felt like the outcast, you never understood the 'boys jokes' and sometimes they wouldn't invite you to stuff because 'girls wouldn't like it' and it upset you.
You were very nervous to get into F1, only assuming that gap would be larger than it was in F2. So when you won the championship it only seemed smart for Toto to Promote you to the Mercedes reserve driver, on loan to McLaren and Williams as and when needed.
You'd been in the Mercedes Young Driver and Development Programme since Karting thanks to your family connections to one of the mechanics.
He begged Toto to go see you karting and give you a change and that was when his mind was set to help you further your career where he helped you into F4 and other racing.
There was an open spot in 2024 for you to be a Reserve Driver for Mercedes with Frederick Vesti and Mick Schumacher starting to look at other racing categories like WEC and Indy Car. So having you available in a second was important for Toto, they made a clause as engine suppliers for Williams and McLaren that they could also use you as a reserve driver as long as Mercedes had first dibs on you.
You thought your 2024 season would be pretty slow, only getting to go in the F1 car in Free Practice sessions like you had before but oh boy how wrong you turned out to be.
When Lewis announced he was moving to Ferrari in 2024, you had conversations with Toto Wolff and George Russell to see if that Mercedes seat could be yours, despite their being talk of Carlos Sainz, Alex Albon, Kimi Antonelli, Mick Schumacher and Frederick Vesti all up for taking that seat you hoped that maybe you could get it.
Toto didn't confirm anything and for the first four races, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Australia and Japan you did everything you could for the team, grabbing waters, helping hospitality make food, being chauffeur to any of the drivers who were tired after the races and everyone could see how much effort you were putting in.
CHINA 2024
In China, Logan Sargeant sprained his wrist in training and by the time FP1 came around the medical team said it wasn't safe for him to drive. As the sole and only reserve driver Williams had it was up for you to race.
Williams hadn't had a good season and they were worried having a rookie in the car. Both Alex and Logan had their fair share of mistakes and they were worried about their spending this year. They couldn't afford another chassis until Miami.
They also had yet to gain points with either the boys currently.
You were a lot smaller than Logan so they spent time padding out the car to help you so your neck didn't suffer with the G-Force as much.
By the time FP1 came about the car had been padded out fully.
"And here we have a very nervous looking Y/N Y/L/N who has been confirmed to take Logan's place for the race this weekend and will be partaking in her first F1 race. Awwww look at her talking to Logan and his team..." Ted says as he sees her on screen, talking through what was probably race strategy.
"Yeah, obviously she's done these Free Practice sessions but never a race so I'm excited to see what she can do on Sunday!" Martin says looking at her as she starts to pull her race suit up and put her helmet on.
You get in the car and after some wet conditions and not everyone getting out your fourth fastest on the board.
All the interviews were joking around saying how you were a Mercedes miracle.
FP2 saw you get P12 and you were pretty happy with that result as you weren't trying to drive quickly, you were just trying to get used to the track. You'd never driven the Shanghai circuit so getting to grips on the circuit was difficult.
FP3, went better and you came P9, trying to see how confident you were on the track and you were trying to go the quickest time you could without risking the car too much.
Qualifying was not good, your breaks were faulty meaning you didn't make it pas Q1 saddling up in P16.
"How did you feel about that qualifying session Y/N?" an interviewer asks and you.
"Yeah I think I got as much out of that car as I could on that day. I'm not only learning the track... I'm still learning the car and how it's built and just how different it is from F2. Learning both at once is pretty complicated so I'm personally proud of what I've achieved and yeah I hope the team is proud of me too.
"Yeah Y/N i think you've really got to understand just how amazing what you've done so far this weekend is already amazing and no matter the result tomorrow people will still be incredibly amazed by what you've managed to do in a lower end car" he smiles and you grin back.
"Thank you really!" you grinned, nearly tearing up at the kind words.
Come the Sunday and you were ready and raring to go, Williams had come up with an impeccable strategy that you knew you'd be able to pull something off.
"IT'S LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO HERE WE ARE RACING IN SHANGHAI CHINA FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2019. AND EVERYONE MAKES IT ROUND TURN ONE, BUT OH MY GOD CONTACT IN THE REAR WITH, WHAT THAT A WILLIAMS AGIAN?" the commentator screams and everyone in the garage is holding their breath, the dust from the gravel trap not allowing them to see which car went into the wall.
Your family were panicking thinking it was you.
"IT'S NOT! IT'S THE RB OF YUKI TSUNODA AND THE ALPINE OF ESTEBAN OCON! AND NOW VALTTERI BOTTAS IS HAVING TO STOP HIS CAR ... LETS REWATCH TO SEE WHAT OCCURED!" the commentator says as they watch the replay of Esteban taking the turn to wide and not leaving enough room for Yuki crashing into the side of him while clipping Valtteri's wheel and wing.
The race went on and you'd managed to climb all the way to 5th thanks to you having insanely good tyre management. It was always one of the things you were condemned for in the lower feeder series is how well you looked after your tyres.
"Y/N is just doing an amazing job, not only is she currently the only one to have not pitted but she's managed to climb her way up the ranks and get that distance she'll need to pit" the commentator says watching.
"I think she's really starting to struggle on those tyres though. I can imagine they'll put her on soft tyres for the last few laps to help her gain those vital positions. Everyone else seems to be on the mediums right now" he explains and on the next lap you called to pit.
However the commentators our outraged as Williams fumble, calling both you and Alex into the pits at the same time.
"Guys what the hell is going on?" you ask waiting behind Alex's car who was getting new tyres and had a very quick pitstop.
However the crew weren't prepared for the double up, so they run getting looking around for what they need for you. It ended up being a 12 second pit stop and you were crying with frustration by the end.
"Y/N I'm sorry we are looking into it" Logan's engineer says and you just ignore.
You came out of the pits in P15 so you had a lock of making up to do.
"AND FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR WILLIAMS HAVE RECIEVED POINTS, AND BOTH OF THEIR DRIVERS AT THAT DESPITE ALL THAT WAS THROWN AT THEM TODAY THEY HAVE GOT THEMSELVES THOSE VITAL POINTS THAT WILL STIR WILLIAMS IN THE RIGHT WAY!" the commentator yells and as you drive past the pitwall, all engineers from many of the teams are cheering your name making tears come from your eyes, scoring your first point in F1. P10 in your first race.
"You really were just phenomenal out there today Y/N. You had the best tyre management by statistics which is incredible for a reserve rookie... you've just amazed us all!" Naomi smiles at you.
"Honestly its such a great feeling going out there and making the team proud, i think Williams still have so much to work with and I experienced that today but with drivers like Alex and Logan who are both so driven and hard working i can really see them improving throughout the season.
"Do you think you'll do any other races this season?" he asks and you laugh.
"I think I'm lucky as a reserve driver to have been given this opportunity. Obviously my heart goes out to Logan and I hope he makes a full recovery for his home race! But ultimately i dint think I will be called on again this season." you nod.
MONACO 2024
"When you got the phone call from Toto explaining that Lewis wouldn't be able to race in Monaco, you were shocked. It would take something really big to make Lewis not race.
You'd come to the paddock pull of nerves and you felt physically sick. Mercedes, even though their car was pretty shit this year, still had a mid field car and you were going to prove that you could drive it like it was a championship winning car ... if it was any other circuit than Monaco.
Monaco was... well Monaco. It's an itty bitty small street track that didn't have a lot of room for overtakes, had twisty corners that were very unpredictable and could always have a chance of rain.
So yeah you were worried.
Too the point you actually had a panic attack, there you were in your drivers room crying and sobbing over the pressures from media day before going out to FP1.
"Y/N?" you heard from outside your drivers room making you stop completely in your tracks trying to make your crying silent but you were doing this weird little hiccupping sound as you were gasping for breaths.
"I'm coming in!" George says and he walks in, greeted by your red puffy eyes and tear-stained cheeks.
"Awwww baby" he says with a pout and pulls you into a hug as you sob more. There wasn't as much pressure on you as there were in the Williams, Mercedes had been constructors champions for 8 years in a row.
"George I'm so scared, what if i mess up!" you cry looking at him and George was nearly brough to tears himself seeing this 21 year old girl sobbing into his chest at the prospect of her messing up.
"What are you worried about messing up!" he asks.
"The race, the constructors championship! Everything!" you cry harder. George stays with you until you both are needed for the Free Practice Session.
Lewis' Mercedes has to be very packed out for you as he was a bulky man despite his height and that was the first issue in FP1. They hadn't packed you out enough and your were struggling a little with the G-Force, some corners the particularly fast ones, your head was flying to the side causing your steering to be a little off.
Despite that it made for a great weekend. George was right, you didn't have anything to worry about and you came P7 while George game P5 having car problems in qualifying meaning he'd had the better overall driver working his way up to the position he had.
"And again Y/N, how do you feel now that you are above Ollie Bearmen in the drivers Championship!" she asks and you giggle. You and Ollie despite being in different driver development programmers had a special bond. You both karted together a lot as kids and you went to the same school as him despite being a few school years above him. You had a sibling sort of bond.
"Yeah, i mean it's a little unfair to compare me at all considering he drove the second best car on his first F1 race... but i think we both stepped up to the challenge well and really took it in our strides. I'm excited to see of there are any teams willing to offer him a seat. I think so much talent from F2 is being wasted and the feeder series doesn't feel like its doing well of getting drivers into F1... so it would be interesting to see a new category added that's closer to F1 than F2 ..." you admit knowing that's how all of the washed out F2 drivers felt that will potentially never get to experience a career in F1.
SPAIN and AUSTRIA.
You were on a yacht, you didn't know whose but you were on a yacht when you had the news that George Russell had fully broken his foot in a crash Canada and they'd need you to step in for two races while it healed. He was getting surgery... of course he was and it should be healed by the time George's home race came around.
Getting to drive alongside your idol Lewis was incredible. He'd made you feel so safe and comfortable the whole weekend and you clung to him in all the media and interviews.
Not that Lewis minded, he found you adorable and didn't want you to feel left out or side-lined. He brought you out for food with some of the other drivers who you got talking to finding out their likes and dislikes. Lewis and Charles would excitedly gossip about them being team-mates for 2025 and whether Toto had found a replacement.
"Well... Carlos told me... and you cant tell anyone... promise?" Charles said seriously as the three of you were stood at the bar. And you nod.
"He's been offered a 3 year contract at Red Bull which is perfect for him to then make the move to Audi!" Charles exclaimed and you let out a breath of release.
The Mercedes seat was still up for grabs.
Spain was incredible, you'd never felt the heat and an atmosphere quite like it and you got you best result yet, coming P5. You kind of blamed that on Max and Perez crashing into each other and the debris messing with Carlos' car meaning Charles, Lewis and Lando took the podium while you and Oscar were just shy of it.
Austria was also good where you came in P8, Aston and Ferrari having had upgrades meant it was a tougher battle with everyone on the grid.
You now had 21 points, and were 10th in the constructors championship despite not being there for all the races which you were pretty impressed with. You'd scored points at all your races.
But it wasn't until Monza that the big one came.
MONZA
You were asked to fill in for Mr Oscar Piastri who had come down with what the medical team deemed invasive tonsillitis and he was not on par to drive.
Again you were nervous but having driven the Mercedes a few times you felt more and more confident.
You and Lando had pretty much spent the whole media day messing around. Lando did it, not only because he liked you but because he knew you were nervous despite the front you were putting on for everyone in the garage.
You and Lando got on like two pees in a pod and everyone found the dynamic hilarious. Lando flirting with you while you were innocently oblivious to his moves.
Lando found you insanely attractive. Every race you turned up at he'd look out for you in the paddock just so he could see you in your Mercedes gear.
Today however, you looked even better rocking the Papaya.
"You look good today!" Lando attempted as he grinned at you.
"Thank you! I got a new helmet design for this one, wanna see?" you ask and he nods. You show him your helmet which was so you, but you'd gone all out making it glittery. One side had Lando's pattern on it from his standard 2024 helmet.
"Oh woah! That looks great!" he grins, watching as you pop it on. He teasingly slaps the lid down making you try to reach up and swatch his hands away and lift the visor back up.
"Lan come on!" you cry frustrated making him chuckle.
Qualifying came and Piastri's now your car had so many issues meaning you were starting in Sunday in P11, which wasn't great. But the engineers promised to fix the issues before the race.
Lando got pole and you were overjoyed no longer caring about the shit show of your Qually.
You were jumping and hugging him as he got out the car and he enveloped you back in the hug.
"I'm so proud of you!" you'd squealed to him, and thank god his helmet was on because boy was blushing hard.
"Thank you!"
Sunday came around and it was carnage.
"AND AFTER A DIFFICULT RACE LANDO NORRIS WINS THE 2024 ITALIAN GRAND PRIX HIS FIRST EVER WIN, HERE COMES MAX VERSTAPPEN IN P2 AND Y/N Y/L/N GETTING HER MAIDEN PODIUM AS A RESERVE DRIVER FOR MCLAREN. WHAT A RACE SHE HAS HAD!" the commentator screams.
All of the Mclaren team were celebrating from the pit wall as you and Lando waved at them.
Being up there on the podium with Lando and Max was like nothing you've ever experienced. You were drenched in sticky champagne and you were laughing and joking with two friends about the victory.
"If that doesn't get her a seat next year I don't know what will" the commentators say before the Sunday Race stops broadcasting live.
