It JUST occurred to me that if Hobie left Gwen the watch in her universe that means he went there and met her dad
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The implications of this are SO interesting
Hobie had to go there, find Gwen’s dad, explain who he is and how he knows Gwen, then ask him to give her the watch
He even describes Hobie as a piece of work!!
I’m so curious -
Did Hobie have some choice words with Gwen’s dad? Did he say that he’s the person that housed her when she was homeless?
Hobie met Gwen’s cop dad and gave him the watch WHAT DID HE SAY WHAT WAS THAT CONVERSATION
WHAT DID HOBIE SAY TO GWENS COP DAD

hobie spent the necessary amount of time within a tyrannical system to learn its inner workings, subtly instigating and stealing guarded tech, all while agitating its leader with his mere presence. and when the system finally showed signs of imploding because of an anomaly, he skipped out just in time. not so he could ditch what looked like a difficult, unwinnable conflict, but so he could regather his resources and use what he stole to help put together a team of rebels. ones who are fully willing and capable of attacking the system from the outside and defending/protecting miles from miguel.
and that's spider-man, not as a friendly neighborhood hero, but as a revolutionary.

Shots fired by the Spider-man sequels.
Was ruminating on how Miles and Miguel are technically both 'Spider-man 2' in their respective universes. Got me thinking about the other Spider-successors in the cast, and also what if they all got matching T-shirts or something.

Hope it’s okay !!
I love thisss
Miguel is readers actual father cuz I don’t see him getting rlly close w someone like a daughter unless it’s his actual daughter, you can be adopted or biological

You laughed as hobie practically dragged you to his room.
He let go of your hand when he got in his room “Hello, sweetheart.” He said, picking up his guitar as you sat down on his bed. He plugged in his amp, and fixed some settings.
“Oh so you love your guitar more than me now?” You said, feigning offense.
“That’s not very fair, innit? Can’t love you both equally now?”
You laughed and rolled your eyes as he smiled and started strumming his guitar. He tuned it and then he started playing.
You smiled at how excited he got when he played, he had a huge grin on his face, he glanced at you sometimes too, even singing to you.
After an hour of that, you both laid down in the bed, talking and just looking at each other.
“It’s late, we should probably get you back to HQ, yeah?”
“Yeah. You’re right.” You mumbled, you both stood up, and you gave him one last kiss before leaving through the portal you opened
Miguel was waiting in your room, you screamed for a second and he just stood there.
“Jesus Christ! Dad!”
“Care to explain?” He said, holding up a photo booth picture of you and Hobie. You both laughed, hobie flashed the middle finger, and in the last one kissed.
“Why are you snooping in my room?!” You grabbed the photo.
“Well I came to clean it, then I saw that, and then I saw that!” He pointed to the jacket that was hung in your closet, a jacket that was obviously his.
“Dad…”
“Are you and hobie dating?” He asked, feeling like he knew the answer.
“Yea.”
“How long?”
“… like a … few months.”
“How much is a few?”
“Like… 5.”
“5 months?!”
“5 months.”
He sighed and rubbed his temple “Hobie- out of everyone- Hobie? The biggest pain in my ass?”
“Yea.. yeah. Sorry I didn’t tell you..”
He sighed again. “It’s just kissing.. right?”
“Dad!”
“Oh my god are you guys-!”
“No! Dad!” You covered your face, embarrassed.
“Good. I’ll beat his ass.” He mumbled.
“Goodnight dad.” You said as he left.
“Goodnight… you leave the door open.”
“Why?!”
“Because.” He narrowed his eyes.
You groaned “Fine.”
He left the hallway, and Hobie opened a portal at the right time.
“Just thought I’d stay here for tonight. That cool?” He said, hands in his jacket pockets.
You jumped, startled.
“Shhshshsh.” You said, covering his mouth.
“I swear to god, if that’s who I think it is!” Miguel yelled.
You winced and told him to go in the closet as your dads footsteps boomed down the hall.
He looked around, saw you on the bed.
“Hey… dad. What’s up?”
“Hey Miguel.” Hobie said from the closet. You groaned.
“Can he stay dad please?”
“Ay dios mío. Just keep the door open.” He grumbled, staring at hobie as he left.
“Teenagers…”

The first thing I noticed was the bodies of Spider-people the Spot has either killed or exhausted. You can even see Spider-Plushie in the left-hand corner was a casualty.
Tumblr media
Then we see a few frames of Miles fighting the Spot, which I feel is self-explanatory.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But then we get into the interesting part of the vision with Inspector Singh saving the little girl in the red dress, and while we're told these events are of the future. What we see with Jefferson saving the child wouldn't be the first time the Spot's visions show past events, i.e. when he reveals his origins.
Tumblr media
I say this because I don't think the vision of Jefferson saving the little boy who is also wearing a red (Spider-man) top - the only time we see colour besides black and white in this scene - is foreshadowing the future.
Tumblr media
Because this is the past. And what we're seeing is E-42 Jefferson saving Miles G Morales as a child.

───────────────────────────────────
Ever since you remembered your dad, Miguel O’Hara, was there. Of course, there are certain moments of your childhood you don’t remember, as every child has, but your earliest memory is your dad picking you up and soothing you as you cried at two years old. And ever since then, he was always there. Your friends at school would always say you were so lucky that you had a dad that was so devoted to you, and you agreed. To an extent. See, he was very particular about what he allowed you to do. It wasn’t in a negative way, necessarily, he was just protective. His favorite saying and your least favorite saying in your house was ‘I just want what’s best for you, cariño.’
It resulted in you staying home from school events, friend events, and generally any type of event where your safety could have been compromised. It caused you to be a bit of a loner, always hearing about the parties, the gossip, all of it instead of actually experiencing it for yourself.
Of course, it annoyed you.
It still does.
He’s loosened up a bit eventually, though, allowing you to go to work with him. Which also meant you got to meet many spiders. Quite a few of the spider-people quickly became your closest friends, as it was simpler and easier for your dad to keep tabs on you in Spider Society. Much to his chagrin, you quickly became best friends with Hobie Brown. The two of you were around the same age, and since you were annoyed at your dad and in your rebellious era, you got along swimmingly. A little too swimmingly, actually, which Miguel purposefully chose to ignore for the most part. Until he saw Hobie sucking his little one’s face off. Regardless, Hobie was always quick to validate all your conflicted, annoyed, and even positive feelings about your father. He even helped you come out of your shell and rebel against Miguel occasionally.
Miguel didn’t like this very much, but he also knew that Hobie was still a good influence on you. No matter how many times both of you tried to convince him that he wasn’t. But sometimes, Hobie would talk you into doing things that he very much disliked. Hated, even. And this time was one of those times. While he was out, containing a particularly difficult anomaly, Hobie convinced you to search through Miguel’s personal files on his supercomputer because he bet if your birth certificate would be anywhere, it would be there. When you found a folder with your name, you expected to open it to see some family pictures, hoping for your birth certificate with the name of your mom. Your dad never really talked about your mom, just that she passed away during childbirth. You stopped asking because every time you did, he would get very quiet and a guilty look would appear on his face. But you’d be lying if you said you weren’t curious. So you went into this endeavor excited to see what you might find out. Unfortunately, that excitement didn’t last for very long. See when you opened your file expecting these mundane things, that wasn’t what you were met with.
In fact, that was nowhere near what you found.
You found detailed notes all about you.
“What the hell,” you mumble, scrolling through the various pictures of you as an infant, with two adult strangers. Hobie said nothing, looking at all the pictures and skimming the important parts of all the files you were pulling up with a frown on his face. You stop on a specific picture of a woman holding you in a hospital bed. She was smiling.
And she was very much alive.
Tears immediately start to well up in your eyes as Hobie gently pulls your hands away from the computer. “Think that’s enough a’ that, love,” he says softly. You yank your arms away from him. “No.” You scroll to the next photo, seeing a man you’ve never met before holding you in the same hospital room, with the same strange woman right next to him. The next time you scroll, it’s a detailed account from Miguel about who you are. Notes from your dad declaring you a ‘danger’ and that you ‘must be contained somehow.’ Talk of your biological parents, their names, and how you had to be separated from them before ‘irreversible damage was done to the multiverse.’
You stare at the screen, and Hobie pulls your hands away again, successfully this time. He steps between you and the screens, blocking your view and slowly walking you backward and away from the files. You’re too shocked to say anything, the only thing you can do is quietly cry. Hobie opens his mouth to say something when Miguel’s voice rings out. “What do the two of you think you’re doing?”
The two of you turn your heads toward Miguel, and his annoyed frown turns to one of concern as soon as he sees the look on your face. “¿Qué tienes, mi corazón?” Miguel asks, his voice much softer as he approaches you. Hobie moves, positioning himself between you and your ‘father,’ and scoffs. “Think you got some explainin’ to do ‘ere, mate,” Hobie says, and Miguel looks at him confused. Then he sees what’s on the screen. A look of horrified realization spreads across his face, and he looks at you. “(Y/n), cariño, I can explain.”
“Don’t call me that,” your voice, albeit shaky, finally comes back to you. Hobie turns his attention to you, squeezing the hand you’ve been holding onto for dear life ever since he pulled you away from the computer. “(Y/n)—”
“Who am I? Who are you to me?”
“…Please, let me—”
“WHO ARE THOSE PEOPLE?!” you shout, desperately yearning for your dad to say they weren’t what was said in his reports. But all he does is frown. “They’re… they are your biological parents,” he confesses, and you make a choked noise. Hobie subtly begins turning his watch to his universe, ready to make an escape from your dad at any point. “If you just let me explain—”
“I’m a threat to the multiverse?” you choke out through your tears, “What the fuck does that mean, papá?! If I can even call you that.” Miguel’s jaw clenches. “Don’t forget who raised you.”
“How could I?! How could you?! Is this why you never let me do anything?! Too worried your querido bebecito would destroy the fucking multiverse?!”
“(Y/n). I did it to protect everyone.”
“What about me?! Did you ever plan on telling me?! How is separating me from my family protecting me?!” Hobie places an arm around your shoulder, pulling you closer and keeping you shielded by him as Miguel tries to step closer to you. Miguel glares at him, and Hobie glares back. Miguel holds out his hand in a surrendering way. “It was to protect you just as much, if not more, as it was to protect everyone else. If you would just listen—“
“No. No, I’m done listening to you.”
“Cariño—”
“I am not tú cariño. I am not tú corazoón. You are not mi papá,” you say, venom behind your words. You can practically see Miguel’s heart shatter into tiny little pieces.
That was the worst thing you could have ever said to him.
Before he can say anything else, Hobie opens the portal, pulling you through and closing it almost immediately. You find yourself in the familiar atmosphere of his flat. “C’mere, love,” he mumbles, pulling you into his arms. You grip his shirt, sobbing into his chest as he rocks you back and forth, softly shushing you occasionally and rubbing your back. After what feels like hours, but was really maybe a minute, he swiftly picks you up, carrying you bridal style to his bed as you continue to cry into his shirt. He sits down, placing a soft kiss to the top of your head and rubbing up and down your arm. He can’t help but feel guilty for this. If he didn’t convince you to look at the computer…
“Don’t blame yourself, Hobie… please,” you whimper, and he sighs. “Love, you needa stop bein’ so good at knowin’ what i’m thinkin’,” he mumbles, and you look up at him with a soft smile. “Can’t help it. Even your thoughts are loud,” you say, and he snorts. “Chuffed to see the cryin’ made ya feel better,” he says and you shake your head. “I still feel like shit, Hobie,” you whisper, and he frowns. He gently wipes some tears away from your cheeks. “Reckon all ‘at cryin’ has you knackered?” he mumbles, and you nod softly. He lays backwards, maneuvering the two of you to be laying down. The two of you face each other, one of his hands cradling the side of your face while the other soothingly rubs up and down your side. You grip onto his shirt, and he places a soft peck on your nose. “‘m sorry, love,” he says, and you sniffle. “I already told you it isn’t your fault.”
“‘Kay, still feel like it was,” he says, and you sigh. “That’s not important right now,” he mumbles, gently pulling you closer. “What’s important is that I make you feel better.” You look at him, your eyes are still glossy from tears. “Never met someone who looked so stunnin’ when they cry,” he says, gently stroking your cheek. You smile softly, and he does too. “There’s my favorite smile,” he whispers before softly placing his lips on yours. It’s only for a second, but it makes all the pain go away. And you’re grateful for that. Even if it is just for a second. “Get some sleep, love.” He kisses your forehead, tangling his legs with yours and pulling your head into his chest. You relax into him. He was right. The crying was exhausting. Before you know it, you’re asleep as Hobie gently traces shapes into your skin, whispering anything and everything he loves about you to you so softly that if you weren’t really listening, you wouldn’t hear any of it. No one makes you feel protected quite like Hobie does.
And even if it’s just for a moment, thanks to Hobie, you feel like everything will be okay.

Ok if you don’t mind can u elaborate on the pregnancy link not to be weird 😭😭 if you want to total up to u!
oh trust me this isn’t weird (we’ve got up to worse over here)
listen, it’s not like he really wants kids or anything. he’s neutral on the idea, but not enthusiastic enough to be all “hey we should try for kids” (you’re young adults after all it’s way too soon).
but one day he’s just a little unlike himself, fucking you like he usually does but the thoughts are different. he’s picturing you with his cum dripping out, like he usually does, but then he starts to wonder what’ll happen if it takes. his eyes flutter closed and he starts to see the small bump that grows, and how your skin would glow, and how your tits would swell.
it’s suddenly all he can think about, his eyebrows pushed together as his hips start to snap into yours harder and harder.
you notice his change in demeanor, taking a breath to stabilize yourself before you ask him what’s on his mind.
“just …” he groans, low and deep, and forces his eyes open, gaze immediately gravitating towards your bouncing tits and that just amplifies what he’s feeling tenfold. “just you, babe.”
but you know it’s more than that. and you’ll press him for the details later.

This cute idea just spawned into my head but imagine the girls asking reader and hobie about their youth 🥹 like “how did you two meet?” And when they complain about having too much homework they say “I bet you didn’t do your homework when you were younger” to Hobie
Thank you for the adorable request!! 🫶

You feel a gentle tug on your apron whilst you make dinner, the savory smell of spaghetti and meatballs wafting around you, covering you with a thin smoke that you had to fan away to get a good look at the disheveled curls below you.
“Mummy?” she tugs again and you fan the smoke away from her face. You should really turn on the exhaust.
Quickly pressing the on button, the fans roar to life making your daughter call you louder above the noise. You crouch down to her height, now eyelevel, you see Billie with her face scrunched up, pouting and with a crumpled paper clutched in her tiny hand.
“What happened to your hair?” You chuckle, trying to get it away from her pretty face with your palms. “Was your head all itchy?”
She stomps on her tiny foot, frustrated. “I can't do my homework!” Whining, Billie sniffs, clearly upset. You rub her arms lovingly, trying to calm her down. “And Mona fell asleep and daddy locked his door!”
The thought of Mona taking a nap before dinner has you internally groaning, knowing that you have to wake her up which is a job and a half for both you and Hobie. She clearly takes after her dad in that department.
“And I'm your third choice?” You feign hurt, joking to lighten her mood. It doesn't work when her frown deepens, brows knitted together. She takes after you in this department. “Okay I'm sorry, baby, what do you need?”
She raises her homework to your face, getting a facefull of her maths problems. Leaning away, you skim over the numbers: five plus seven, ten plus twenty and so on.
“I need help, mummy.” Her tiny broken voice sends your instincts into a frenzy, but you remain calm with your hands rubbing soft circles around her shoulder blades just like you always did when she was just a baby.
“And mummy will help you, okay? Can you grab your pencils for me? Then we can sit down and finish it.” You lift her chin up, pressing a sweet kiss on her chubby cheek. “And maybe I'll give you some ice cream for a job well done.” You whisper it to her like a secret to make your daughter giggle.
Truthfully, you were already going to give her some after dinner, if Hobie saw the entire thing he would've patted your back.
“Okie dokie.” Billie changes moods quickly, smiling and skipping towards the bedroom. She leaves the door wide open, giving you the opportunity to watch Billie hastily pick up her supplies from the messy pile on the foot of her bed.
You shut off the stove and the exhaust whilst peeking at the girls' bedroom. Spotting Ramona slowly sitting up, waking up from the ruckus that her sister was making. Yawning, her eyes droopy from sleep, she scowls at her sister but when she sees you peeking from the open doorway, she smiles, giving you her signature toothy grin.
Copying her smile, you scrunch up your nose and narrow your eyes, Mona giggles as Billie finally makes her way towards the kitchen table with her arms full of school supplies that are definitely not needed for a maths homework.
Billie huffs like she just climbed a mountain. She sits down on the dining chair with little effort, when just last year she still needed yours and Hobie’s help to get up on the chair.
“Mum!” She calls, legs swinging and tapping her pencil on the table.
“Coming, baby.” You wipe your hands on your apron. Sitting down next to her, you feel Mona lay her head on your arm wordlessly, sleep still clinging to her lashes.
Lifting her up, you place her on your lap. She embraces you, head placed on your chest.
“Sleepy?”
“Mm-hmm, homework got me tired.” her words are muffled by your shirt.
If only Hobie can see you hogging all the attention from his girls, he'd probably be complaining jokingly, saying that his girls are playing favourites.
You help Billie with her homework and with every question answered her pout becomes deeper. She's so done with it already even though she still has an entire page left.
Mona has even started to help her sister, giving her extra fingers using her own hands so Billie can count higher using both her and Mona's fingers.
Nine questions left, Billie's on the brink of tears.
“‘m hungry” she whines, flicking eraser shavings off the paper.
“I know, cheese, just one more and we can have dinner then we can continue right after.”
“I bet you didn't have to do homework back then!” Billie throws a crumpled piece of paper across the table. Mona frowns, upset, looking at you for answers.
Hobie senses his girls' distress, he can't ignore it any longer while he was working on a new web fluid. With measured steps, he unlocks the door with a click. Making his way towards the kitchen, his heart melts at the sight, if only the twins were actually smiling it would've been better. Webbing up Billie's homework, he reads it out loud while closing the distance.
“‘If Charlie had ten cookies and his dad gives him eight more, how many cookies does he have?’” he scoffs, plopping himself next to Billie and across from you. “Diabetes, Charlie has diabetes.” placing the paper down, he watches the girls grin from ear to ear.
His girls giggles, music to his ears.
“Dad!” Billie slaps her dad on his arm, Hobie feigns hurt, groaning in (fake) pain. They laugh louder, Billie's frustration forgotten.
You smile at him, practically giving him heart eyes. He winks, laying his foot on top of your knee that's under the table. His way of saying ‘thank you’ and ‘you did a good job.’ So to show your appreciation, you wink back and he acts like Cupid's bow hit him right on his chest.
Mona laughs while Billie acts disgusted by the gooey scene in front of her.
Hobie sits up, or as properly as Hobie can. He places his elbow casually on the table, chin placed on his palm. He shakes his head, “not true at all, froggy, mum and I did a lot of homework back then.”
“You mean fifty years ago?” Mona jokes, followed by loud laughter from her and Billie.
“Rude!” You squeeze her in your arms, swaying her from side to side. “We raised rude children, Hobs.”
“This is what we get for letting uncle James babysit you eh?” Hobie pokes Billie on her side, earning a yelp from the younger twin. “You know who didn't do his homework? Uncle James, and look where he is now.”
“He’s living in a castle, dad!” Billie exclaims, excited to hear a story from before they were born.
“It's his dad's, scrunkly,” he pats her head before sloshing her head from side to side. She giggles again, holding his hand that's on top of her head. “not uncle James'” stopping his attack, he continues. “Have I told you that your mum and I’s first date was a study date?”
“No!” Mona and Billie shout excitedly.
You quirk a brow but you let him tell the story even though you know he might be telling it a bit differently than you remember.
“Yep, you see mum was havin’ a hard time with biology—”
“What's biology?” Mona asks.
“Study of plants, animals and humans.” Hobie says without elaborating or they'll be sitting there for hours.
Mona looks up at you from your lap, smaller hand tapping your clavicle. “Did you fall in love with dad during homework time?”
“Yes, he impressed me with his biology prowess.”
“Taught her anatomy—” You kick Hobie under the table before he could finish his sentence. He silently groans, staring softly at you.“—we held hands under the table.” Both girls listen intently while you smile at the memory. “I'd squeeze her hand every time she got an answer right.”
“Woah! You still do that!” Billie moves her head from Hobie and to you. Smiling delightfully at her parents.
“Yeah, we do. But with fewer biology questions.” Hobie taps the paper, “what's ten plus eight?”
“Eighteen,” Billie answers quickly and you look at her surprised. Hobie smirks triumphantly. “How'd you two meet?” she asks curiously, elbows on the table, and eyes sparkling.
Her twin does the same, her knees digging into your thighs. But you don't mind as you make googly eyes at Hobie.
“Tell you what, cheese, finish this and we'll tell you.” Hobie throws you another wink, sending you back in time when he used to pick you up from class.
You knead at his leg, tapping in morse code a simple ‘I love you.’ He appreciates it with a message of his own. Tapping Billie's eraser on the table, he sends a message through it. ‘Love you more, study anatomy later?’
Tapping a quick ‘yes’ he hides his smile when he pretends to look over Billie's homework.
