In Defense of this couple I know they don’t get a lot of screen time together and Jack could have been better at hearing Sally’s warning but. They do care and love each other very deeply when Sally knew he was in trouble she did everything she could to help him and when she was in Danger Jack did everything in his power to save her and keep her safe. That is why they are Simply meant to Be. ❤️🖤

Jack was busy this day, he agreed to do some spring cleaning while Sally took his place at work today. Ever since the Sandman incident, Sally’s confidence sky rocketed. She happily greeted the crowds, hosted town meetings of her own and even created a social system where the town residents could work on Halloween planning and have days off to relax.

He was even surprised when she told him that she wanted to further her education and go to school to earn degrees in her interests, and art was one them. Being the natural creative that she is, Sally wanted to major in art. Excelling in classes such as ; costume design, prop design, and sculpting.

While cleaning out some items from their bedroom, a book fell over and caught curiosity of the king himself. He knew this book, it was Sally’s sketchbook for her classes, filled with nothing but her work and imagination. He sat against the foot of the bed and decided to look through it, he knew she wouldn’t mind. Jack knew every piece in here, as she would always show Jack what she’s working on, constantly asking for constructive criticism or any non biased suggestions, she always wanted a challenge. Upon turning what he thought was the last page, he noticed little ink blots bleeding through on the other side. He turned it to see what new piece was the culprit and laid gaze upon a new piece.

“This must be what she was working on last night” he said to himself. It was a portrait, but not of anyone, but the artist themselves. A rough sketch of the Queen herself done in mixed medias. Ink, Crayon and marker all coming together to form her Majesty. Jack smiled widely, this just might be his new favorite piece. She looked beautiful, calm blues, desaturated reds, pastel colors of pink, green and yellow. She looked like who she really was, not a Queen, not a savior of the unawoken, but just her, just Sally.

What did you think to the pumpkin queen novel?

I purchased it Friday of D23, read it in its entirety on Saturday while finishing my Queen Grimhilde crown

It’s an easy read. It errs on the side of Young in Young Adult.

I must say, I didn’t like it. Especially since I’ve been on the high of just getting married on Halloween last year, and that’s how it starts off. It’s repetitive, probably to cater to its targeted younger readers. It changes canon in a way I did not like.

I am a person who always interrupted Sally is a Frankensteinian creature, a ragdoll composed of corpses stuffed with dead leaves. Yes? Yes.

This book says no.

I did not care for this book and was hoping for something more interesting, something with more substance. 2/10

Sally appreciation time I love Sally so much she means everything to me she is my favorite Disney Character and I really relate to her on a such a personal and deep level . I love how Sally knows that she is Perfectly Imperfect and owns it and uses as one of her strengths. I believe that is the what makes her so unique is that she knows she’s different from everyone in Town including Jack and it gives her confidence to be herself that she can give them a different perspective which is what makes her a Great Pumpkin Queen as well.

“Long Live the Pumpkin Queen!”

I redrew the cover of Sally’s book in color and I can’t believe how this turned out! This is one of the best Sally artworks I have ever made! (The book is filled with mixed emotions, you should read it if you haven’t already!) There are two different versions of the cover, the one with bits of color here and there and the exclusive black and white one which is the one I have here at home right now.
