So I was thinking about the size differences between all the autobots in tfp, and it really hit me just how huge optimus is compared to everyone else? He's not only helms taller than everyone else, but he's wider-chested than the majority of the other 'bots.

That got me thinkin': what if, whenever an autobot gets injured on the battlefield, prime is always the one to pick them up and carry them back to base? Optimus is really the only bot who's capable of picking the others up (especially ratchet and bulkhead); there's no way in primus bumblebee would be able to carry prime or the medic back to base unless he tag-teamed the weight with someone else.

Just imagine bumblebee gettin' hit with a fusion cannon and falling into stasis- when his optics online again, he finds himself cradled in the arms of optimus and held close to the prime's chassis as his leader darts through the space bridge and into the control room of the base? Optimus doesn't just do this for the smaller members of his team (bumblebee and arcee) but for everyone because of his enhanced strength due to his modified warframe and the power of the matrix.

He's so soft-sparked and pure that Optimus would absolutely carry any bot in need of help off the battlefield and shield them close to his chassis to protect the from harm. He's just so strong and large compared to everyone else that it's almost habit (I don't think any of the bots have the capacity to carry optimus if he went down completely, it would be a group effort).

The best thing about it is that he doesn't even realize how strong he his, or how amazing and honestly pure his actions are when he just scoops an injured bot into his arms like a protective father.

Bots can be pretty overprotective and possessive over their human(s). Especially when being given affection or being cleaned. For example like this person with her lion.

I imagine one day Sam is giving Bumblebee a car wash when Barricade shows up.

The war is over in this au and he's reformed so he's not going to be blasted. Anyways he's got to talk with Sam about something but Bee is having none of that. He revva his engines, threatens him with a blaster, etc. Sam is like calm your maggy ass down. Doesn't work. So he has to finish the wash before he can talk to Barricade.

Another idea is one day Optimus gets hit with something that makes him revert to a feral thing using only his base coding for logic. The autobots are all there when it happens. At first it's kinda fine he's just acting like an overgrown puppy. Then the former decepticon barricade drives over to them with Sam inside to be dropped off. Optimus sees this then absolutely loses it and flings himself at them.

He flees very scared/confused, with Optimus in hot pursuit. The autobots explain through comm links what is happening with him. Eventually Optimus reaches them so Barricade has to transform to protect himself plus the human. When the prime sees Sam plopped out on the grass he immediately goes to grab him. Scared as hell Sam dodges the hand then books it to a little cave nearby. Barricade tries to fend off Optimus as long as he can but he's only one bot. When the prime beats him he runs after Sam trying to grab him again. Sam just in time manages to make it into the cave. The feral transformer desperately claws at the ground trying all he can to get him out. After a few minutes of frantic digging the human hears a kind old microwave type of noise that somehow is soothing? Sam takes a peak to see that Optimus was making the noise; with some of the most heartbroken eyes he's ever seen. When the autobots catch up they recognize the sound that's being made. Creators would use it to call for their sparklings. Finally knowing that Optimus didn't actually want to hurt Sam he comes out (I'm gay) of the cave. Big ole bot grabs him asap and affectionately nuzzles him, scent, hug, etc him.

It takes two days for the effects to wear off so Sam and Bee have to deal with a lot of mother heaning. He's protective of the other bots too but these two are his fragile babies!

Fun fact! Most social insects tend to use mouth to mouth feeding also called trophallaxis to make sure everyone in their hive is well fed, kind of like birds with their chicks.

Anyway, do you think Bumblebee has any weird insect quirks or has he been spared of the weird world of the Inscticons?

Bee has been exposed to the weird insecticon world just a tad but the instincts are typically there he just suppresses them.

Optimus didn’t hide that Bee’s sire was half insecticon from Bee, so he didn’t stop Bee from indulging in that side as a sparkling. Did he show the others aside from Ratchet? No.

But he helped Bee in those instincts the best he could and indulged in mouth to mouth feedings until Bee could feed himself on his own.

Bee also experienced seeing the world differently like an insecticon would until Ratchet changed his optics to standard mecha vision.

Bee misses having those optics but they’ve been gone so long he wouldn’t know how to use them, so he leaves it alone.

a/n: I'm gonna skip some of the things happen on the movie and focus on Papa Oppy and y/n.~~

Time pass by y/n is now officially living with the auto bots and she refuse to leave Optimus side and always want to be on his shoulder 24/7. At first Optimus was against it but he became soft to the child when she began tearing up, she was now adopted by Optimus and not caring that his comrades are against it. Cade takes care of y/n on the other business as Optimus was to big on that job, Cade had brought her some new clothes and other stuff as Optimus was always bringing her on his patrol every Morning only.

Y/n never really ask for anything she just waits till she was ask on what she wants, cade was a bit concern when he took her to the shop (toy shop) she refuse to grab one until he shows her a toy.

Before she was abandoned her mother would always say that she was not allowed to buy anything when they go to the store so unless her mother told her to grab some. The bunny bag was gifted by her mom's kind friend, the bunny bag was the only thing she played in her years with her mother. Her mother was total B3tch and when she had guest coming in there house her mother would tell her to stay on the closet and never come out until the guest leaves. After her father died her mother became a different person and began drinking and doing Dr#gs but she never hit y/n because it was tiring in the b3tch's opinion and just lock her when she misbehave. After what her mother had done she still love her because she gives her food and a little attention.

y/n didn't get scared on the other auto bots but became more happy that there were more than one, Optimus was her fav .She enjoy her time with Optimus riding on the driver seat pretending she was driving it making Optimus chuckle in her antics, sometimes y/n would sleep on him and having nightmares Optimus would cares her back with his large digit carefully until she calms down.

Optimus is very gentle when it comes to y/n afraid that she will get crush by his grip. Optimus would always say yes for you, you want to go the drive in theater <yes but only when he or bumblebee will be there>. He declines on some other request you said because it would be dangerous for both you some decepticons might see you two.

Megatron got Miko's phone number so he could threaten her but now they just chat about stuff.

They play uno together and it gets so heated. Like really heated lmao.

Miko somehow got him a pink shirt that has "girl dad" printed on it in his size. No one knows how she did that and at this point they just don't question stuff like this anymore.

TFA Starbee :>

Thanks to one romantic night where the yellow mini bot was left alone to comfort Starscream, Bee ends up sparked with a very large bitty. He tries to hide it for as long as he can but his bump ends up getting to big to hide, Ratchet ends up giving a firm scolding after he found Bumblebee trying to sneak away from his mandatory check up.

After being checked over and scolded by a upset Optimus this time Bee is then put on berth rest due to the big bitty. For a while Bee is bored out of his processer unable to do anything fun, thankfully Sari and Jazz come to his rescue when they come around to play video games or hang out. Things do become rather chaotic when a very ticked off Optimus ends up dragging a stasis locked Starscream into the base one day. The seeker grumpily complains at first only to light up when he spots his little Bee heavy with their sparkling.

From then on Bumblebee is pampered and cared for by a very protective Sire and mate who will attack first and ask questions later if someone even dares look at his mate the wrong way. Poor Bee still has a while to go before he can meet his bitty and is dying to get back on his own two peds again but he is happy and thankful to have such a wonderful small family.

Poor Bee he’s berth bound but he probably grows to enjoy it when he soon can’t stand without his pedes giving out and his spinal strut bending lol.

Optimus have been thinking for the past few minutes if he could take the child or not, but knowing that she was abandoned and people these days have no care for a little girl who has been abandoned. He finally Decided to take her in, maybe Cade could have her as another daughter seeing Tessa was now in College. Optimus transform in to his Alt form.

"y/n get on, we will have a long ride to go" Optimus said with a gentle voice. "Okay.." reader didn't answer him with her usually high pitch voice as she was getting tired, She then climb the stand carefully so she wouldn't fall. After a few minutes of struggling to climb the stand she finally sits on the driver's seat, and as for her bunny bag she didn't put it in the other seat but cuddle with it her best friend. Optimus had close the door of the truck and said.

"y/n if you're tired go on sleep I'll have someone to carry you when we arrive." Optimus said but not knowing reader already fall asleep the time she cuddle her bunny bag. Optimus just sigh and finally drove back to the base where his fellow comrades are staying.

Optimus could have just leave the child alone but seeing a child on the street alone in a cold weather, she could have died of starvation or worse... Not to mention the child was too young to be alone maybe about 5 to 6 he was lucky the child was not very loud or annoying but still irritates him on why he brought her. Optimus was not interested on getting a Sparkmate let alone raising a child who is a human, that's non of his concern now as he will ask cade to take care of her simple as that because she was human and he probably miss his own daughter.

When Optimus arrived, everyone was already asleep except for cade who is above the roof again waiting for the radio signal to contact his daughter. Optimus drove near cade and carefully speak to not wake up the child sleeping inside his Alt mode.

"Cade...I have a request for you.." Optimus said and cade raise a brow to let Optimus know to continue his talk. "I found this child alone on the streets..she was abandoned by her mother...is it okay for you to raise her cade?" Optimus said Cade was shock a little that Optimus have brought a child with him but never questions him as he knows better than to do it. Cade still haven't answered Optimus but went down to take a look at her, she was in an uncomfortable position but still cuddling her bunny bag. Cade sigh and carefully carry the child out of the truck careful not to fall while doing it, once he succeeded on getting down without harming or waking the child he cradle her a little.

"well we should rest first prime.." cade is now feeling tired after seeing the child he doesn't know why. Optimus just agreed and drive off in his cabin.

<in the morning>

Reader woke up by the sun light through the small window, she also realize that she was laying on a bed that she didn't remember sleeping on until she look to her side seeing a man with long hair. Since she didn't know the man she carefully take her bunny bag and wore it on her back and carefully tip toe her way to the door. She successfully went out without waking the man on the room, when she went out she found a big green robot (Crosshair).

"WOW! another robot!" reader shouts at a big robot in front of her with a big smile. Crosshair turn around from the unknown voice only to see a child with a wide smile, he couldn't believe on what he was seeing. "what the- why is there child here".
