Dinner Day 69 of our 45 day whole food plant based experience. I didn’t feel like cooking or doing a lot of prep today, so I pulled out a container of cooked Dahl (yellow split peas). Sautéed spinach with browned garlic and tomatoes. Mango 🥭, bean sprouts and red onion salad. And of course avocado. Race and racism are themselves social contructs. In the same way that gender is a social construct. So it stands to reason that someone can indeed be trans-racial.

You know…because of the fickle and volatile nature of this thing we call life. You may actually be the person I need in my life. You may be exactly what makes me into a better person, But even if one day, by circumstance, I come to find that you nony are the love of my life, that I will never love someone the same way I love you. I would still need to punch you in the face, at least once for this ignorant fuckery.

So let’s go slow for the ones in the back. YES, race and gender are indeed social constructs. That a Human is black or white, or that a man cannot have a vagina and mammories is indeed a social construct. People say interpretive shit like “Black heart” and “Man up” in a broad context all the time, and still can’t grasp the concept. 

However! Society and Idealized social constructs are two very VERY ! Different things. Just because A trans woman is still a woman does not save her from bigots beating her to death out of prejudice. A black man is just human being, but do you know how many racist fucks are quick to yell “Monkey.”

A social construct being understood as a social construct, is not the same thing as a social construct being manipulated to serve ones own needs. THAT is what Rachel Dahlandrice is doing. The social construct of race has never hurt her in the way it has hurt an actual black woman. Therefore, she is not a black woman. HOWEVER The social construct of gender has hurt trans men and women countless times over, day in and day out. 

 The wage gap, Misogyny, sexism. These are all things trans women have dealt with all their lives. Being rejected by black men, HAVING YOUR GENIUS AND HARD WORK STOLEN AND MONETIZED, WITH A WHITE FACE PUT ON IT FOR MARKETING. Rachel Dollarbill has never lived through this. In fact Rachel Dollarbill s engagin in this very thing RIGHT NOW! And the atrocious part about it, is she’s riding in on the Trans fight to do it.
