When you have nothing to do, you usually go with him and help him do his commissions so thaf it can be done fast.

It's you being all amazed about every places you go that you haven't been before that he finds cute. The way you hop around in fascination, the way you gasp dramatically when you saw beautiful flowers.

You'd pick them up from the grass and show it to him, like a child who drawn their future self using stickmans and shows to their parents.

He'd chuckle at you and nod when you ask him if the flower was pretty.

He then would pick himself one and will gently tuck them behind your ear saying, "And pretty flowers should be with a pretty person too."

Keeping your balance as the alcor sails is a hard thing to maintain, especially when you're clumsy. As the alcor sways both left amd right, there are times you bump into people, like Kazuha since he's your companion with your daily ship chores. Though, he doesn't mind at all, it's adorable. He might as well play around with you.

Sometimes, he'd play around. When you bump into him, he'll act hurt which is unlikely him but who cares?

"Ah-.. you got me there (Y/n)---" he winced, rubbing the arm you bumped with your figure.

You immediately dropped the cleaning materials or whatever you're holding, to go check on him, "Dear Archons--.. forgive me and my clumsy self Kazuha I-"

The alcor swayed again, making the two of you lose both of your balance, you panicked again while he was just laughing heartly,

"Do not view me as a masochist of some sort. But as I watch you panic over small things, I find it quite adorable."

You'd often go to Wangshu Inn just to bring him sweet sweet almond tofu, his favorite. Though, he told you not to, but still, you insisted.

"Xiaooo" you'd proudly call out his name since you know he'd come within just a second, as you prepare the dish on a decent looking plate.

"You called- ...!" He immidiately appeared but cut himself off as soon as he saw your doings on the table. He can't say no to Almond Tofu, he won't. But he told you not to make him, you're too stubborn.

"I know you told me not to, but. I got bored. Enjoy~" you smiled at him.

That stupid cute smile is what gets him the most.

He looked away, using one hand to cover his mouth, and the other one to hold the dish.

"Quit looking at me like that, mortal. It's making me feel... forget it."

kazuha had no idea where these feelings stemmed from. he suddenly felt himself head over heels in love with a childhood friend of his. the only problem? they were dating one of his best friends.

he could have fallen for anyone , but it had to be his best friend’s partner.

he absolutely adored your smile , but hated the way it was directed at xiao instead of himself

he would never do anything to harm your relationship with xiao. as jealous as he was , he knew better than to potentially lose two friends over his feelings towards you. he loved both of you , truly , but in two different ways

he’d known xiao for years and was the main reason the rapper had joined 4nemo in the first place. he’d done everything he could to make him feel included in any decision made

you’d been in kazuha’s life since the two of you were children. he introduced you to all the members of his band when the group was just starting out , very quickly ingraining you in the foundations of it all. instead of being part of the group musically , you were more so backstage help and moral support

the fans knew of you too. even though you weren’t technically part of the group , they absolutely adored your dynamic with everyone else

you were like a sibling to aether , a parent to venti ( mostly to keep him in check ) , a best friend to kazuha , and xiao’s partner

how envious kazuha was of that last fact

it was a conflict he struggled with daily. even if you and xiao did break up , the fans already knew you as xiao’s partner. it was sure to not only cause personal drama , but also drama within the fandom

he’d always loved you , it just took him a while to realize it. the way you smiled , laughed , stayed focused on your goals , and just…everything

he’d always held off on telling you. ‘ he’d have time ’ , he told himself. he realized he lost his chance when you were swept away by xiao

sure , you’d had partners in the past. but xiao was a genuine person in private. he was such a good person , especially compared to your exes

kazuha was simply the best friend

a lot of his feelings melt into his work. not only is he part of 4nemo , he also posts solo songs ( imagine taylor swift )

some fans have taken notice , as well as yourself

he just seems…different somehow

no matter how many times you ask , he pretends he’s fine

he just wishes he could tell you the truth

he hates seeing your posts of your dates with xiao

he hates when you come to him with your little ideas to surprise xiao with

I had this idea where your AUs are fiction stories to other AUs. How would the MCs react upon reading them?

For instance, I can imagine Tyranny!MC reading Vigil and empathizing with Kazuha (we're gonna pretend that Vigil! Kazuha and Tyranny! Kazuha are two different people ehe) because she, too, knows the pain of losing (a) sibling(s).

Or Absconder!MC reading the stories of Astrolabe!MC and pondering over whether or not she'll eventually be forgotten as well. With her ruined kingdom, the few people who knows she's still alive, the immortality curse and all. It's not farfetched, isn't it? *sobs*

The last one I can think of is more light-hearted. 4NEMO/Fleur! MC reading stories of Geisha! MC and gushing while self-inserting herself as the MC of that AU. Like come on, who wouldn't be gushing over handsome men visiting you 7 days a week? XDD *insert concerned looks from the four wind boys*

NOW THIS THIS THIS IDEA. I love converging universes (and ficlets and fanfictions) like so much.

Rancor/Ilmestys is a universe of its own and though it's only two fanfictions (FOR NOW) there are other works that key in the same universe.

Miniseries wise, Tyranny!MC reading Vigil is just a sheer ride of angst lol. Books exist to be read by other MCs with all too relatable conflicts of interest.

She's a sad character, warped up in the idea of bringing back her people because she feels that she failed them. But she knows that the path to accomplishing her mission is a precarious one, the ramifications are too great that she may be forgotten.

Or worse, she'll cease. But it's a risk she's taking.

in her tunnel-vision, she will fail to agree with Dainsleif's views even if she sees and understands it. A guilty conscience seeking to amend mistakes in their way is difficult to sway.

Being aware of Astrolabe!MC's tale shakes her to the core because there are deities that have been forgotten in time's lapses. She, a human (well.. 'was'?) will be forgotten much, much easier.

description: idol! au headcanons of the armed detective agency boys, inspired by kpop idols and the genshin idol aus that live in my head rent free

[a/n: this is what happens a. I cannot escape the kpop stan blood in my veins and b. my brain is overloaded with too much 4nemo/DCKZ fanart. when I was editing atsushi's part, filter by jimin came on shuffle and I nearly disintegrated on the spot bUT OTHER THAN THAT IM A-OK I AM FINE AHAHA noimnotfinesendhelppls]

irregular is an up-and-coming boygroup under ADA Entertainment— with a strong stage presence and unique sound, irregular is quickly taking the net by storm (an irregular occurrence, get it?). but first, let us get to know more about this group and its members, and how they’ve climbed up to where they are now.

kunikida doppo:

with a dashing stage presence and cool aura, kunikida is the leader of irregular. his aloof, intimidating exterior is only limited to his stage presence, however; he’s actually quite a worrywart and nags his fellow members to eat their meals properly and has their schedule memorized to the letter. fans have dubbed him the dad of the group, and with good reason; whenever the group goes anywhere, kunikida always looks like he’s a father of five bringing his children to school.

he is also quite gullible, often falling victim to dazai’s pranks (yes, dazai has DN’ed him) and missing jokes that were fairly obvious in the first place. nevertheless, kunikida works hard to excel in every aspect of being an idol; whether it’s rapping, dancing, singing, making speeches at award shows, taking care of his members or showing appreciation to their fans— he truly gives it his all, no matter how difficult it is. (although he seems to struggle a lot with acting cute or doing fanservice; he always ends up too flustered to do anything)

dazai osamu:

the face of the group and the one whose fans have gained a reputation within the fandom for being incredibly wild (“watch out for the ones wearing a dazai hoodie, folks”), dazai is a main vocalist who will capture your attention and wreck your bias list, whether you’re a fan of the group or not. whether it’s with his good looks or his bewitching vocals, he has an aura that makes you want to gravitate towards him and stay with him. duality is what you think of when you see him— this man can shift from being all adorable smiles to his signature smirk quicker than lightning. this is only highlighted even further when he performs with his collaborative sub-unit, double black.

admittedly, most people are initially attracted to his good looks and sensual stage presence; but after seeing the goofy, childish side of his personality, they all shift from slight interest to falling in love. his morbid sense of humour was a bit of a culture-shock to most, and actually got him into a few scandals because of it. later on in a documentary he revealed that he was actually quite depressed before debuting, as he was a last-minute addition and had to work twice as hard in order to make it with his friends. but after debut, his members noticed that he began to smile more and make more jokes— albeit mostly at kunikida’s expense, but none of them seem to truly mind as long as dazai was happy.

edogawa ranpo:

the main rapper who behaves like he’s the youngest but actually is the oldest, ranpo steals hearts with his childish behaviour offstage but profound professionalism onstage. it’s an inside joke among fans that ranpo onstage and ranpo offstage are actually two different people— but they all know that the real duality is ranpo when he chooses to wear his glasses, and ranpo when he doesn’t wear them. he has a bit of a mischievous streak as well, and often joins dazai in his escapades.

this king of duality also is well known for his side commentary— in their daily vlogs and reality shows, you can always expect to hear him say at least five unintentionally snarky comments. but his unmerciful tongue can always be quelled with sweets and snacks, and ranpo often receives snacks as gifts (or bribes) from his members, especially when they’re playing games for reality shows. kunikida always threatens to confiscate them if ranpo doesn’t follow the rules of the game, but his threats fall on deaf ears; nothing can separate ranpo from his snacks. the real reason for his childish behaviour is actually quite sad— he spent most of his childhood as a trainee, and so ranpo still is a kid at heart.

tanizaki juni’ichiro:

an all-rounder and the one who writes and produces most of their songs, tanizaki is the hidden gem of the group— whether it’s singing with dazai, keeping up with atsushi’s complex choreographies, or matching ranpo’s flow of rap, tanizaki has got it all. but despite his many talents, he is often initially overlooked by fans due to his natural ability to blend in easily. tanizaki doesn’t seem to mind, though— it’s as if he knows that once he flips the switch, nobody will be able to take their eyes off of him.

he has a younger sister who he posts about when she sends him gifts (which is very often), and is quite the doting big brother to her (i just want them to be wholesome no weird stuff here ok). with his gentle nature and alluring aura, tanizaki has gained the reputation of being the ‘ultimate bias-wrecker’ in the fandom to the point of it becoming a meme. you aren’t a true fan of the group if you haven’t been seriously bias-wrecked by tanizaki at least once, so the fans say— and once you fall for tanizaki, there’s absolutely no turning back.

atsushi nakajima:

as the main dancer, atsushi moves in an almost unearthly manner that is bewitching to all who see him— his unique style of movement is what earned him a spot in the collaborative sub-unit double black. one minute he moves like flowing water, the next he’s moving faster than lightning; his sense of dynamics is ever-changing and he brings something new and different to each performance, even if the steps and the choreography are the exact same. but as the choreographer of the group, he always patiently explains the steps and dynamics of each movement to the other members, no matter how complex the choreography is.

however, the refined level of his dancing did not come without a price; prior to joining ADA Ent., atsushi had been a trainee at another company. he does not like to elaborate about it, but from what little information he gave, the training was incredibly brutal and the management as equally ruthless. the company had gone under after countless lawsuits, and all the trainees either gave up on their dreams to be idols or moved to other companies. but though he has faced much hardship, atsushi strives to focus more on the kindness that he’s been given and to be able to give it back a hundredfold; it is this heart of his that his fans admire greatly.

kenji miyuzawa:

the youngest of the group, kenji is the one who unites irregular with his bright spirit and cheerful heart; even after the most grueling rehearsals and performances, his infectious passion for performing remains the same. his blissful mentality is brought about by the fact that he only wants three things in life— to make his family proud, to be able to eat well, and to enjoy performing with his senior members.

it is this innocent mindset of his the older members treasure and seek to preserve, and with good reason; when times were difficult and more than one of them thought of calling it quits, kenji’s simple mindset what motivated them to push forward. for what drew them together was not the applause, nor was it the cheers of the fans— no, it was the simple pleasure of being able to perform with your friends, to make something unique and fun with them.

yukichi fukuzawa:

though he’s merely the taciturn manager of the boygroup, fukuzawa has somehow gained popularity among the fandom. known as the ‘handsome manager’, it’s no surprise that there’s no small amount of fan accounts dedicated to him. he also regularly receives gifts from fans and has three fansites (fans who act as unofficial photographers) solely for him. some fans have even converted their mothers into fukuzawa stans, thus ensuring their concert tickets for the rest of their lives.

it’s unknown how he became so popular, but one thing is for sure; fukuzawa cares for irregular as if they were his own children. sensing when the boys are stressed, making sure they get proper food and rest, and even shoving unruly ‘fans’ into trash bins if they cross the line and invade the personal space of the group— fukuzawa does it all.
