There’s a new sync pair on Pasio, and they’re throwing everything Lear knows into question. Like whether a god can have a friend, and if a human is worthy of such a title.

I've been working on this since January, and it's finally done! A fic where my two favorite duos meet and have the craziest dynamic. I hope both Lear & Hoopa and Arceus & Damos fans can enjoy this story!

For a while now, I've wanted to put this fic on Wattpad, reupload it.The problem is that I've been through it, cover after cover, none of them convinced me!

Some left me relatively satisfied, others I never really liked, but I took them because "I had already invested a lot of time in them."

I published the last cover on my Twitter account because I had a small following of followers there.But it happened without pain or glory because well, many of them are younger than me and never in their life they had caught their attention Pokémon.

That cover was more or less passable, but it lacked the feeling of the same and glorious as a religious image.

In the end, I reached my goal thanks to three things: time, acquired knowledge and references.

I got this book, which is basically an art book that compiles calendars from Mexico from the 20th century. Lately I have wanted to learn to have a similar art and this was the perfect occasion, since technically many religious paintings were used as calendar images (and to this day).

And of course, I also relied on many Pinterest references of paintings of Jesus, to the point that my mom believed I was becoming Catholic or Christian (XD), However, my base was always that book that I got at a book fair at my school only $3.04/$50MXN. Very cheap for a book here with Mexico ($18.25/ 300 MXN or more) and even more valuable if we take into account that it was done by the publisher of the Soumaya museum!

Reader's as the one who 1st discover and the gimmicks, such as, Mega Evolution, Z-crystals/Moves, Gigan/dyna -max, Terrasteral/others…)

Whenever Legendary pokemon wants to go out to explore places outside/inside of their region, They want Reader to join them as an escort/guard, they also enjoy each others company, and if they encounter trainer/s that wanted to battle the legendary pokemon, They told Reader to go battle with trainer/s to see if they're okay to battle them, Mostly Reader wons or just they finish it swiftly and disappear…

Whenever a challenger or a threat meet Reader and they explain their reasons (lies and/or honest) and/or challenge Reader to get/met Legendary pokemon, then Reader challenge them to a battle, and Reader always won…

however, if its someone's a bigger threat (ex: Volo, team villains, others), and probably uses force/trick (ex. Ambush/other) to get to the Legendary…

until someone's who are truly worthy (Player, Champions, or others) to challenge Legendary pokemon, they Battle reader and they won then Reader take them to the Legendary pokemon's summoning place but they accept it of couldn't capture it…

What are the reactions/interactions of Reader w/ RoR Characters?

-The Pokemon Pantheon was a relatively new Pantheon, compared to many of the others, but instead of being full of people who earned their place, it was mostly full of Pokemon, all types from normal to legendary Pokemon.

-There were a few humans, trainers and partners of the past who earned their place alongside their partner Pokemon, but the one who oversaw it was a young-looking maiden named Y/N.

-You watched over the Pokemon with gentle kindness but also stern rules, like no attacking others and battles were to be done only on the battlefields you had created for them to burn off energy, as you didn’t want to deal with anymore property damage.

-The Pokemon obeyed your rules, so you didn’t have many problems, just with the new arrivals who were quick to learn.

-You didn’t really interact with the other pantheons, only when you had to, you preferred to be with Pokemon rather than people, as Pokemon wouldn’t betray you, not like your fellow humans.

-You had died young, betrayed by those you had trusted, and you became the patron, as you had died protecting your Pokemon, and the Pokemon look to you as their leader, including the legendary ones, they see you as the boss.

-Your partner Pokemon, who was a Munchlax when you died, but he evolved into a Snorlax, fighting hard to avenge you, but ultimately fell and he arrived shortly after you, was the one who came with you everywhere, following you, protecting you, and comforting you whenever you needed to be comforted.

-All of the tools the trainers have come across on earth were thanks to you- giving them to those you deem worthy, like MC, who in turn uses them to help Pokemon themselves. Then once the mission is done, you retrieve the tools.

-You watch over the legendary Pokemon, the ones who can travel between earth and Valhalla, escorting them down so they can run around and play on earth, and if trainers wish to battle them, for a chance to capture them, they must first defeat you.

-You have thousands of years under your belt, so you are not to be underestimated by any means, especially your partner, who is way more active compared to normal Snorlax, he’s way stronger and way faster.

-If a trainer managed to best you, then you would allow them to approach the legendary, but it was the Pokemon who made the decision, and if they refused, then you would do nothing to sway their mind.

-If one was worthy, you would bid your friend goodbye, but you knew that you would see them again soon, once the trainer who caught them passed on themselves.

-In Valhalla, you welcomed visitors to your pantheon, gods and humans alike, allowing them to befriend and train alongside Pokemon, and all obeyed your rules, mainly of no violence and no trying to take any of your Pokemon if they didn’t want to go.

-People would find Pokemon all over Valhalla, as they could wander, but they always came back home to you at the end of the day.

-You had seen friendships formed between the citizens of Valhalla and your Pokemon, seeing the partnerships that always warmed your heart.

-However, if any were to try to harm your Pokemon, there would be no holding back- many had learned this lesson the hard way. Snorlax quite enjoyed eating popcorn alongside Buddha as you used double slap on several young cocky gods that tried to attack Totodile under your care.

-Many gods used your pantheon as a means to escape from their duties. Poseidon would spend hours in your ocean, swimming in the clear water amongst the Pokemon who were always happy to see him, except for one cranky Quillfish, but he was like that with everyone.

-Buddha loved the vibe of your pantheon, it was so relaxing, he could just nap in the fields amongst the grass types who would sleep around him and cover him with flowers, something that would always make you laugh, seeing him coming up to you, covered in flowers.

-Shiva, Hercules, Thor, Lu Bu, and Raiden all loved training with your fighting types, sparring with them, as their unpredictability always made for good fun.

-Ares, when he needed comfort, when he was feeling sad or just needed to be alone, your fairy types were always quick to swarm him, cuddling all around him, making him feel so loved.

-You loved your Pokemon, all of them, seeing them running around, flying, swimming, having fun, enjoying their peaceful lives from your perch on Snorlax’s stomach, laying on top of him as he slept. This truly was a paradise.

What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

I think Damos is a character I have never found a song that truly fits. There’s a level of tragedy to him and complete devotion that I feel I should be able to tie a LOT of songs to him but I can’t… I’ll settle for Little Soldiers by The Crane Wives however.

What's a headcanon you have for this character?

I think his devotion to Arceus comes from a place of being Fucking Crazy and not just from it having saved his life the one time. And that only got worse whenever Arceus gave him the Jewel of Life. Damos wants so so badly to be worthy of that gift but after losing EVERYTHING of his home he doesn’t think himself to deserve it. I know the movie doesn’t touch on it at all but I’m very interested in why Damos was alone with only pokémon by his side when the meteor came. It’s why I headcanon that his family died to a minor sinkhole while he was away a few years before the meteor.

If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

My favorite thing is allowing him to be a person Outside of arceus because I think their relationship is INTERESTING already but Damos is so entrenched in who he is through who Arceus is, it’s fascinating to strip that part of himself away and see what remains. Something I don’t enjoy is sticking to the status quo, it makes it very hard for me to ENJOY writing Damos

smoltina's incubator tank (which ima just headcanon now was kept seperate from the other clones during the movie and chara somehow found it)

like- this one was built stronger and stuff, since even if it was a clone of giratina he's still a God so- like- :'D

They're kept in stasis inside the incubator i'm kinda thinking they were just in stasis inside the incubator since mewtwo probably needed something to hold them in.

that and because of how slowly the creation trio "grows" up thats how he stayed as basically a baby by the time chara finds him possibly years later after mewtwo had already made the clone of giratina if that makes sense-

he was still getting nutrients and whatever to grow the clone incubator

but either way like he was sorta kept in stasis at the same time, since he was also a clone of a literal God. I guesss mewtwo wanted to make sure like it wouldnt fail or anything goes wrong

thats also why he put smoltina's tank away from the other clone tanks so even if the other clones got let out or something went wrong with that (like ash fucking breaking shit to save his pokemon/pikachu) it wouldnt affect smoltina's tank and- ye. smoltinas also wouldnt affect the other clones either if THAT went wrong either- if that makes sense

also lowkey thinking of changing exactly WHEN chara starts hanging out with Ash and them and in fact, its after the 1st movie is when she really starts to travel with them tbh maybe she saw ash sacrifice himself between mew and mewtwos attacks and- dialga or something pulled some strings so chara would keep those memories anyways even when mewtwo erases the memories cuz he saw Ash's future and how he's KINDA needed to be kept alive for literally every single movie/major event cuz he has this uncanny ability to calm legendaries and ya know- keep the world from getting destroyed when the other Gods decide to be dumb or whatever lol plus he didnt want like, chara to keep travelling alone and since Ash is a bew then- ye.

plus maybe too when chara saves smoltina from the tank/finds him, because of the stasis as well smoltina was actually pulled out of the incubator too soon, and like ash and co help chara bring the tiny bew to professor Oak to look at him, and make sure he's doing fine and that also sorta helps chara to trust ash and the other bews and wanna travel with them, cuz she sees how worried they also were of smoltina when he wasnt waking up- due to being pulled from incubation too soon on accident

originally it was gonna be during some random episode in the indigo league anime but i feel like the 1st movie could work better cuz thats when Ash's bewiness REALLy shines?? with the fact he was willing to die to save the clones/real ones from killing each other and to stop the mews from fighting and stuff-

((And before anyone asks, yes after the events of the first movie Chara teeeeeechnically gets 7 pokemon on her team. Since the Creation Trio is too busy maintaining the universe and Time/Space and all that they cannot take care of and Arceus is still asleep/healing from his injuries caused by Marcues hynotising Damos to betray Arceus in the Arceus movie and stuff to raise Smoltina, so Chara ends up doing that since he's a preemie/infant. Plus too anyways, there's times the anime seems not not give a shit?? like how some episodes have pokemon use more than 4 moves and stuff sooo thats why.  Also Smoltina is shiny, just to make it easier to tell which is the clone, and which is the real one. and- ye.))

To the Journeys Trio,

Er… A few versions of you have been sent to Hisui. One Ash was recognized by the clans as one of the Future Children mentioned in Damos’ message also while a Chloe had been mistaken for a lost Noble initially and forced to join the Galaxy Team Survey Corps. There was an Ash/Goh duo who were doing okay until the sky turned Red… Kamado made that Goh release all his Pokémon, or at least the ones on hand that he had. His Ash saw red with his aura causing his eyes to glow very blue.

One version of Ash was sent specifically to track down Volo and collect the plates a day before he took the flight to Kalos. He wasn’t allowed to live in Jubilife cause he was so at ease around Pokemon, mentored Rei kinda turning him into a Legendary/Mythical magnet. A very interesting version had Ash, Goh and Gary sent to the past causing the latter two to help Laventon organize his notes mainly. A lone Ash had Norman and Volkner follow him to the past for whatever reason. A sent back in time Alain was joined by Ash, Iris, Emmet, and Prof Sycamore when they found a portal/wormhole.

(That last one was not a happy timeline…) Goh tends to be sent with Ash or someone. So far I have only found one version of Chloe who has Eevee with her. An amnesiac Ash was found by Palina and Iscan alongside Pikachu a in minimal Arceus interaction timeline. Steven Stone has been sent to the past in two separate timelines although those seem to be Ash-less ones. I know Cynthia was sent back with her main team, although that one had Primal Dialga. There was a Ash and Dawn timeline who were separated from their starters. And those are currently all the ones concerning people you know that I have found so far.

Goh: So these would all be alternate timeline versions of us, yes?

I feel bad for the me in the Ash/Goh/Gary one... having to stay in a lab with Gary of all people while Ash gallivants through the land, doing Arceus-knows-what... sometimes I wonder if that'll be my future, too

Chloe: I hope all these Eevee-less Chloes were just ones who hadn't met Eevee (yet), and weren't forcibly separated from her by some callous omnipotent pokémon

Ash: Oh yeah, I totally forgot Damos made that stone tablet with me and my friends on it... my baseball cap must stand out a lot in the past 💦

Speaking of which, I gotta talk with Sheena and Kevin one of these days, and ask them if they noticed the time-space... whatzit getting weird. Maybe it'd help with figuring out how to stop these crazy incidents!
