Ya know Fiyero and Enjolras are pretty similar in the sense that they both convinced all their friends that school doesn’t matter. Sure one was for a dance party and the other was to die in the streets of Paris but my point still stands.

Oh god, that was their announcement. They had maybe ten, maximum fifteen seconds left before absolutely needing to go out there. He was so going to fall flat on his face this time. In front of the whole country. Because why not pick the finale, the one episode of this show that would get the most attention for him to utterly embarrass himself?”

“Wille. Baby, look at me.”

Simon’s hands grabbing his face to physically direct his head down was effectively cutting through the catastrophic thought spiral attempting to pull him under. His eyes were soft, yet determined as they bore into Wilhelm’s own. “We’ve got this. I’m not leaving you alone out there.”

The last thing Wilhelm felt before he heard his name being called onstage was the soft pressure of Simon’s lips on his. The last thing he heard a whispered, “I love you. Now let’s go show them.” Then, against all better judgment, he was walking through the sliding doors next to Simon, out into the blur of applause and bright lights.

It‘s heeeeeere!!! I did it, it’s out, I‘m so so so excited for you to read it. Just… damn. I can’t believe the very first Wilmon fic I ever wrote is finally done. Yeah, I‘m gonna go get more tissues now. Thank you to everyone who‘s given this story their love throughout the past one and a half years! You’re the bestest🥰🫶🏼🥰

Fiyero's first on-stage appearance. I didn't really change anything from the stage adaptation. They knew what they were doing with the waistcoat. Red also helps him stand out from the supporting cast. I gave him a little watch fob, chain, and pocket watch with charm because why not? XD

Happy 2oth Anniversary Wicked! My first love that cemented my obsession with musical theatre. The music and story are absolutely classic. The message is timeless. Will be listening to the OBC on loop today.

Saw the show in NYC officially twelve years ago. I’ve seen the ✨masterpiece✨ three times in total. I can even remember who MY Glinda and Elphaba were: Teal Wicks and Katie Rose Clarke. I'm telling you, no matter how many times I see this show...I will NEVER get tired of it.

Last thought: Elphaba and Glinda were girlfriends. 💅

Very excited because I just read that the reasons Wicked is being spilt into 2 movies is becuase

Jon M. Chu didn’t want to cut any songs (in fact, according to Stephen Schwartz, 4 BRAND NEW songs are being added, 3 of which were written for the movie, and the other was written for the show but never made it to the stage)

How could you just naturally transition from Defying Gravity to Thank Goodness? Like, it’s done in the show, but it feels natural because of intermission.

I don’t think anyone understands how excited I am for this. Like, Arianna’s version of Popular, Jonathan Bailey’s version of Dancing Through Life, Jeff Goldblum’s version of Wonderful. I don’t think we’ve fully comprehended that this is actually going to be a reality 💚💚💚

It’s late and I should sleep, but instead my brain decided it wants to post another snippet of this epilogue that’s coming along nicely 🤷🏻‍♀️ here goes:

“At least they’re not trying to be subtle anymore,” Ayub snickered from all the way at the head of the table. “Remember last year around this time, when they seriously tried to convince us all they were just ‘close dance partners’?”

“Don’t act like you all knew we were lying,” Simon said with a pout so adorable it took considerable effort for Wilhelm to not kiss it off of his mouth. “We fooled you for the longest time.”

“Yeah,” Rosh snorted, a devilish grin forming on her cheeks, “you really had me fooled when I ran into you literally getting it on in the studio.”

“Oh, eww, Rosh, why?” Ayub could be heard groaning, while Wilhelm hurried to clarify, “That’s a bit of an exaggeration. Everyone’s clothes were still on.”

“Emphasis on ‘still’. A minute later and I might’ve been irrevocably traumatized.”

I’m literally so excited to finish this and show it to you all🥹

‘Dancing Through Life’ from Wicked reminds me very much of Mattholomule and Steve… at least the first part that Fiyero sings. (Fiyero, who also had to moved magic schools.)
